Rumors, Conflicts and Constant Gossip
I know your family has questions,
About me and our relationship.
And exactly what it is I do.
With a persistence to see us,
Eventually split!
But please inform them,
Before my impatience slips.
That the slut they believe I am,
Is not me...
But 'had' been you.
Before we met.
And honestly expressed,
Each of our past regrets!
I am no angel,
By no means do I have wings.
And I never pretended to fly,
To disguise my flaws with alibis...
Or compromise the truth I found.
However...
If they continue to ride on high horses...
As if manure that smells does not stink.
Tell them, yes
I might have been divorced before.
But I wasn't the one,
To teach you to be a whore.
You and I have discussed our blemishes.
And we needn't do that to open old sores.
And I was worse than you.
I was thisclose to prostitution.
And 'anything' they've ever said 'I DO' to...
Was to stay busy in our business,
Probably others too!
And we have chosen that to ignore!
That's why I prefer to have them,
Not around us anymore.
Now...
Should I relate this?
Since our past mistakes,
We've already dismissed.
Or is it with me,
You want to keep this...
Our private relationship?
We did not come together,
To smear ourselves with their constant...
Nonsense!
I'm not revisiting our past failures.
Or joining in to share their conflicts.
So they can decide,
What we have discovered...
It will be left up to them to ruin quick.
That kind of sickness,
I can identify and not putting up with!
Now...
Should I relate this?
Or is it with me,
You want to keep this...
Our private relationship?
Is it with me we've agreed there is a happiness?
Or is it your family you wish to please...
Knowing what 'they' share together,
Are rumors, conflicts and constant gossip!
And they talk and speak about 'unity'?
Please!
Should I relate this?
I can be very protective,
When it comes to peace of mind...
And my own happiness in a relationship.

On Different Missions
You may 'now' see,
What I have seen!
But that doesn't mean,
We're on the same scene...
Together.
Or ever.
You and I can not relate.
You and I are not relationship bait.
We,
You and me...
Are on different missions.
And destined to experience separate fates.
You and I can not relate.
You and I are not relationship bait.
And I am quite appalled,
By those accusations you have made.
Then try to apologize for statements laid,
Much too late.
Ones I did not appreciate.
If I recall,
You announced publicly...
How stupid I would appear,
After your expectations of my downfall.
Has time changed your mind?
Did you come here to find me,
Forgiving?
Willing to smolder in afterglow.
Hoping time spent with you,
I'd acknowledge as divine!
What missionary encouraged you to do this?
We,
You and me...
Are on different missions.
The kind that dismisses admissions late.
You and I can not relate.
You and I are not relationship bait.
You may 'now' see,
What I have seen!
But that doesn't mean,
We're on the same scene...

By those accusations you have made.
Then try to apologize for statements laid,
Much too late.
Ones I did not appreciate.
Has time changed your mind?
Did you come here to find me,
Forgiving?
Willing to play fool for you,
Again?
You and I can not relate.
You and I are not relationship bait.
Thank God.

Keep Your Business YOUR Business
Here's a word of advice,
For anyone wishing...
To keep their relationship,
Fresh and private.
And away from gossiped lips.
Keep,
Your business...
YOUR business.
And noses of 'friends',
Away from your door.
That goes for family too!
If you want your relationship,
To last as long...
As the two of you,
Want it to!
Keep,
Your business...
YOUR business.
And you and YOUR business,
Will find much success.

The Reason For The Split
To be in a relationship that ends,
For one to claim they do not know what happened...
Should not have been a relationship that began.
For someone not to be conscious,
Of their own relationship...
Could mean they do not wish to admit,
An activity or lack of providing it...
Was the reason for the split.
And...
If the other one involved in the same relationship,
Has a difficult time remembering it took place...
Well,
There is no need to continue a nosey probing.

RELATIONSHIPS- A Bitter Sweat Feeling
I'm finally in a relationship,
And more so I'm being advised to quit.
I question the motives of our relationship,
It just made me realized it wasn't what I had expected.
In a relationship there's no more I's it's two,
When decisions are made I can't think about myself, I include you.
In a relationship feeling better off single,
I'm stuck in a web and can't get untangled.
The constant arguing and accusations,
I am tired.
When he says it wasn't intentional,
Once too many times it becomes unbearable.
It's like you want me to hate you.
Actually I hate the things you do.
Deciphering what's hold me.
It's LOVE, an unknown and unseen entity.

Rummage
Being real, true, peaceful
Showing you care
May cause others to think it...
Dare.
People Carrie baggage from their past.
Clogging up the sift'er
In a new relationship.
An 'all-in' sharing is at hand
On an honest tip
You can be real and hip.
If one hole in the sift'er
Is clog
The new relationship
Headed for the fog
Your baggage may cause
Hearing problems...or
Second guesting
Beware of that.
'No holds barred'
In earnest of a new relationship
Sure there maybe some...
Swelling of the past
But remember it was that,
That wasn't honest,
That did not last.
So lose the baggage
Free your hind part
An 'all-in' sharing must be
One objective.
You can do it...
And still be be protective.
P.S. you lose more by
Being honest and that
Which is left...
IS for you.

The Truth: In the Garden
Bloodied n' bruised
Yes, I relate with you
Close to you death
Nothing much left
Searching for truth
Yes, I relate with you
Alone in the group
Friends old but so new
Family ponder at all
Your soul cries the call
Yearning for the truth
Yes, I relate with you
Mocked by friends
Abandoned and left
Crying ache of tears
Going past petty fears
Search for your Father
Path so far altered
Yearn, Yearn for truth
Yes, ...I relate with you.

Relationships That Have Lead To A Peace
No one walks away,
From any relationship...
Without something eventually gained.
Some will benefit,
From a broadened point of view...
That did not previously exist.
And others will not admit,
Using a relationship...
To get something selfish out of it!
Either way,
Many can say...
Where they are today,
Has not been completely achieved...
Without betrayal.
And those who have discovered,
A happiness is more appreciated...
Alone in the comfort of one's home,
Has known a few relationships...
That have lead to a peace condoned!

Old Fashion Way
One woman, one man relationship, thats
the old fashion way, one woman, one man
relationship, thats the old fashion way,
and together they stay,
until their dying day-
One woman, one man relationship, thats
good and strong, one woman, one man
relationship thats good and strong,
thats the kind of relationship
that will last very long-
One woman, one man relationship,
thats what romance is all about,
One woman, one man relationship,
thats what romance is all about, the
old fashion way never goes
out of style,
like a candle that never burns out!

Friendliness is not just friendship (J)
Friendliness is not just friendship
The difference is between a boat and a large ship
A room with few windows or open sky
Friendliness is all embracing and ever widening circle of relationship.
Buddha calls it 'Maitri, ' an expansion of oneself
Reaching out to all with love and compassion
Not a stagnant puddle but an ocean
A loving kindness, unconditional sharing of yourself.
We all have relationship of friends and family
Extending some times to community and nation but rarely to the human family
Stagnant and isolated pools of relationship often breed conflicts and wars
A couple, family, a few friends or community can gang up to have Mafia wars.
But friendship and family can be a lab and a beginning
For creating and nurturing unconditional loving
Love- spiral freezes at any level it hardens into a fort of battle
We can learn unconditional and expanding love from a tiny flower with its fragrance tenderly spreading.
A Convenience For One
Anyone who becomes persuaded,
To allow outsiders to interfere...
In 'their' private relationship.
With a giving of opinion.
And that opinion given is more valued,
Than the relationship entered into by two...
Professing a love known.
Well...
Can that really be considered a relationship?
One that is serious?
Or is it more a convenience for one,
To do a manipulation done.
And anyone inviting this,
Has to be more interested in being validated,
A fool.
And fools,
Even today...
At the prices paid,
Have become cheaper to get...
For less than a dime a dozen.

Comforted By a Fling
Could I be faithful,
In a monogamous relationship.
Without threats of being attacked,
By a hot pot of grits.
Or being collared or leashed,
With locked wrists.
After awakening from a stupor...
Listening to someone 'hiss'?
Is Christmas celebrated,
Every year on December 25th?
Yes! It is.
And I've tried it...
That monogamous bit.
And some things for some people,
Are better to forget.
I often ask myself this...
If I willfully married,
And I was conscious of it...
My intentions were sincere.
My heart was captured.
And wide awake I was determined not to quit.
I was...
Mad-ly,
In LOVE.
Hypnotized and 'whipped'
Into a craze...
In those days when I declared ownership.
But today I am not in a relationship.
The idea of having one frightens.
And I am aware enough to admit it.
I surrendered my single life twice.
Saying 'I Do' and shaking with nervousness.
The emotional investment it takes to be involved,
Is too stressful when conflicts can not be solved.
And time and effort spent...
Seems to disengage and dissolve.
Senselessness and nonsense,
Do not like oil and vinegar mix.
No matter how delicious a remembered salad.
Growing and learning together is important...
When storms and weather begin to change course.
Being prepared prevents divorce.
And a friendship not there to share...
With a maturity to accept flaws?
Those dividends given in a relationship,
Noticeably come to an end.
Any excuse used is the 'cause'.
Could I be faithful in a monogamous relationship?
Again?
Well...
I have spent a lot of time making bad investments.
And the odds do not seem to be in my favor.
Although I must say,
I am comforted by a fling now and then!

They don't get it
My family are so ignorant
My family never listen
My family are always preocuupied
My family are never there
But the don't get it
My family wants me to talk
Talk about what if I may ask?
Even if I do try to talk
My family don't even care
But they still don't get it
That my heat is breaking
By krrping you away from me
They don't get it
Just because I said you mas my BF
Don't mean we are going to have sex
I was once a daddy's
Now he thinks am a slut
They will never get it
Why we are differdnt
Why our relationship is different
I hardly ever see you
Maybe on skype or a phone call
Sometimes it don't feel
Like we are together
Please tell me if I am lying
But they don't Want to get it
That you are a part of my life
Wheather they like it or not
but now I don't get it
Why my dad is going insane
Just because he saw the text messages
I tried to explainto him
But he don't care
All I want is you and my famill
Am making a promise DADDY
I am still a virgin and I will
Be until the day I get married
Please tell me do you get it NOW.

When The Color Of Love Fades Away
Living under one roof together
but your mind so far from each other
You feel you have nothing to share together anymore
If that's case your relationship is dying for sure
Not long ago you used to sit next to each other while holding each other hands
Now barely talking together but a plenty of time to talk to the friends
Something happened that made the color of your love fades away
Now is just a matter of time to say each other, my way or hit the highway
Remember at this stage your love is like that dying tree that still has little root in the ground
If you want you can fix the problem and turn things around
Go back to things that brought you together
Start slow by simple words such as hey I miss you, can we watch a movie together
Remember love means giving up some of our favorite things
It is sad people destroy their relationship on silly things
It is so easy to walk away from the problems and feel good
But if this is your way, your next relationship will put you in a bad mood

What Is It They Should Feel
I never 'thought' to be me.
I always knew 'me'.
And I was...
Me.
Clearly defined.
And did not mind in my own mind...
That was mine,
The acceptance.
I've been cool with it.
It's a relationship I'm glad I did not miss.
However...
I never knew some pretended,
To be a 'them' they were not.
I was shocked!
Until I saw them in and out of pretensions.
They introduced with familiar shallowness.
And that with not knowing 'who' they are...
Has left what it is they should have been,
Unknown.
And that is why they have no identity.
None that goes recognized or used,
To provide them comfort.
They seem so unrelaxed and 'staged'.
They are simply non-entities.
Seeking to be unified,
By a commonness they see...
But no one feels or can relate,
What it is they should feel.
It is a desperation to save themselves.
From themselves.
But from what?
And to what depths 'that' is kept real?
Depends on 'who' and what they determine,
Is impressed by a falsity imposed.
And how severe the conditioning process,
Has been.
But then again...
I do suppose,
They have somewhere to go...
To induce 'some' kind of reality,
That frees them of their masks!

How Strong 'Is' Your Faith?
Let me settle this,
And get it over with.
I did not just establish my relationship,
With God.
In fact,
In my life I know God exists.
Any atheist wanting to argue their beliefs,
It is not me they need to convince.
That's their business.
I know the path on which I walk.
My acknowledgement comes,
From my own experiences.
And knowing 'Who' and 'What' was there,
To come to my defense.
I have no fear of being alone!
And this I've shown for the past twenty five years.
That's when God and I got down to business.
My relationship with God has even gotten stronger.
So anyone who fears being alone on their own,
Should not perceive with belief...
They can compare their lives lived with me.
And I hope that leaves any doubters,
Out of my affairs.
'Uh...
Who are you talking to?
And why is it necessary to interrupt,
Your meditation? '
I just get fed up sometimes, Father.
'And, I don't? '
I just wanted to get something off my chest.
'Isn't that why you came to Me in the first place? '
Well...I...er...
'I don't want to hear it.
How strong 'Is' your faith? '

Personal 'Affairs'!
You are right!
I don't know how much,
You are feeling your pain.
But you do talk about it...
As if you have a relationship.
With an obligation you fear,
If you divorced from it,
It would surely be missed.
And like all marriages that don't work out...
You are hanging onto this one,
As if it makes you proud...
To bear this anguish,
In private and in a crowd.
You are right!
I don't know how much,
You are feeling your pain.
Or what you are going through...
To maintain and sustain its discomfort,
Twenty four hours.
As it attaches its latch onto you.
You had to agree to it.
Look what you 'allow' it to put you through.
But I am not the kind,
To involve myself what is not mine.
So if it appears as though I do not care...
I try not to involve myself,
With those who are entwined...
In such personal close 'affairs'!
Nor do I believe...
It is something I should consistently hear about.
Or you should constantly with me try to share!
Whatever decision you eventually make...
Make it to the best of 'your' benefit!

Living Apart Together
Is a new relationship
That fast replaces
The husband and wife relationship.
Intimacy and privacy
Don’t clash each other.
Rather they go hand in hand.
Easy to establish
And easy to wind up,
The relationship has flexibility.
The best means to eroticism
And the worst means to security.
