Replaced By a Hasted Waste

Has the season of crooks come to an end?
Are people finally awakening,
To witness these actions as actual sins?
Nothing is gained in fulfillment long term...
When thieves retrieve something,
From others not earned!

Has selfish satisfaction lost its gratification?
Consequences must be repaid,
After pretentions lose an ignored sensation!
There is nothing like reality,
To come to stare in one's face.
Especially when disgrace comes to visit...
And replaced by a hasted waste!

And when these affects start to bleed those of greed,
It's remarkable to see...
The speed at which they are prepared,
To feed those of need!
Hoping a forgiveness unconditional...
Will mask such delayed deeds!
And pleas are heard with every mumbling word,
From a grief perceived that arrives not to leave!

Has the season of crooks come to an end?
Are people finally awakening,
To witness these actions as actual sins?
Nothing is gained in fulfillment long term...
When thieves retrieve something,
From others not earned!

Realizing in retreat,
It is 'their' lifestyles...
And a quality of pampered living,
They have destroyed and now burns!

Everywhere they seem to be suffering!
They can't believe it is now 'their' turn!

People Of Goodwill

The more one is charitable towards another,
More donations are expected to causes created.
And at one time philanthropy was a safe haven,
For those who were crooks...
To show themselves as people of goodwill,
And humanitarians!

Today those same thieves,
Are attempting to prove helping others...
Will eliminate them from doing good deeds.
Since an increase in their taxes,
Will force them to decrease...
Opportunities they've used to force others to bleed,
As a write off many of greed had grown accustomed!

Hardworkers Not Crooks

Hardworkers,
Not crooks.
Were those I knew,
Who raise early my beliefs.

Maybe perhaps a few of them were thieves.
But none showed me,
An abandonment of greed was fed publicly.

Whatever it took,
To accomplish any deed...
The satisfaction was in the doing.
And not at the expense,
Instilled in my integrity.

Materialism and other 'isms'
Of all kinds.
Was never on my agenda.
Or made to prioritize in my mind.

I needed to keep my identity defined.
And hardworkers not crooks,
Made sure that discovery was not hard for me to find!

Can I Get A Witness

Can I get a witness
Maybe you got faith
In where this is going
Maybe Ill pull up the stakes
And Ill be letting go
I could not believe
I could not believe
Can I get a witness, witness x3
You know a lot of times I think how big
And I feel lost on the zag zig now
I could not believe
I could not believe
Can I get a witness, witness x3
And some of these people are just so lame
I dont feel like a pupil
Just a loser on a game show
I just cant believe it
No, I cant believe it
Can I get a witness, witness x3
Im rooting for you
And I toasted when I heard about you
And how you got a witness
A citizen maybe in another place
Here comes the wind
Im a chaser
Its time to leave
Here comes
Its time to leave
Can I get a witness, witness (repeat)

The Only Change I'd Like To See

The only change I'd like to see,
Is a quality of life.
And people expressing their respect,
For others including me.
With a commitment to doing it.
And not with hindsight.

I'd like to see a marketing of disciplined children,
Effectively being done.
Day and night.
With common sense used as a priority.
And not from it take flight.

And education a necessity IF,
Greed is not the emphasis...
To focus one's ability with a getting it,
As if a success to impress has been won.
I'd like to see this change in everyone.

I'd like to witness a representation,
Of honesty believed.
With people choosing to advocate this movement.
And doing this with integrity.

I'd like to see crooks and thieves,
Less promoted as dignitaries with ambitions to deceive.
I would like to see those deluded,
Awakened from this sleep disease.

A change we all can believe?
How about those admitting to their insecurities.
And the race and color of one's skin,
Confessed as a reason people are taught to hate.
And those with issues solicited to bait...
Labelled as ignorant.
That's the change I await.

Religions Are Welcome

It's a pleasure to lecture
About the sin of stealing.
It's a pleasure to listen
To talks on sins of stealing.
A thief speaks; other thieves hear.
Then they disperse for works.
Speaking and hearing about sins
Sooth the burns of sins people make.
Hence people welcome religions.

Sin and Stuff

Lord – if that is how
a stranger, I, should address
that stranger, you –

I – or one resembling I –
have done so many actions
which the world would classify
as crimes, or sins, according as
the one who classified them might believe…

and in the classifications which
men attribute boldly to that presumed you,
there must be crimes or sins which are unnamed
which I have done; good left undone…

indeed, your devotees would see it as a sin
if any single breath, any heartbeat passed
without their holding you in mind…

So if I understood forgiveness, as beyond
the way we scold our children, even punish them,
yet never cease to love…

then I would ask forgiveness of my sins
in that same spirit; yet I would ask, first,
understanding; mine, and yours
(though I would hope them finally the same)

for I believe that really, the you
that I perceive you as –
that really, you’re my best friend…
who understands my crimes and sins
better than I do myself…

and in that understanding, love.

Agitation Can Distance

Agitation can distance,
One who once had good intentions.

An overloading of expectations done...
Will leave those guilty,
Vacated.
And they are the ones who become shunned.
Without hesitation to retrieve,
A quietness missed.

When one squeezes a good thing,
Until there is none left...
They usually become appalled.
They usually do not self reflect,
Upon their own actions at all!

They themselves have created,
And delivered this invasion.
At the expense of diminishing,
A sense of innocence.
And someone else's satisfaction,
Others set out to slander and kill...
Seeks a protection from these ills.

And a splitting occurs,
With a peace of mind returned.
One that is earned and appreciated,
With lessons learned.

One to Linger and Believe

People are labelling acts of treason,
As an economic season.
With reason to believe...
The effects of it will heal itself.
And from them soon will leave.

But there is an abundance of evidence...
This 'season' of moral decay,
And treatment of deceit...
Has made a permanent adjustment.
One to linger and believe.

An awakening to reality,
Is an activity many can not perceive...
To stay the way it is.
Since the way it is...
Has been the sign of the times.

Crooks

It may be a little harsh,
To label what they do as such.
Perhaps another approach...
Would qualify their activities,
In a reproach that dignifies them
In our eyes.
How about 'lifters' of goodwill?
The term 'thieves' implies
Something done with merriment.
And today these 'misdeeds',
Are much too common!
Immediately an image of urban dwellers
Comes to mind!
You know...
The kind that are struggling to survive?
If we call them 'crooks'...
And dress them in suits and ties,
With briefcases and horn rimmed glasses...
Would that deliver the message quicker?
If they were placed in settings,
At the pinnacles of all that's cherished...
With worshipped ideologies,
AND adorn them with respected credentials.
Then we will feel less guilty,
When it is realized they represent
Our utmost values!
Let's just call them 'crooks'...?
And redefine our standards!
Only then,
Will all of our pretentiousness...
Come to an end!

They Are Waiting For Him To Fail

They are waiting for him to fail!

'Who?
Waiting for 'who' to fail? '

President Obama?

'Have you seen the signs of decadence?
How long have people stood by?
Many sitting on the fence.
As generations fed greed...
And slimed the skyline,
With crooks and thieves!
To leave your pockets now empty.

Who has already failed who here?
Your local leeching politicians...
Proving their incompetence to fill leading positions?

This stench has been left to nurture,
Long before your thoughts of a Black man
Being your President,
Slammed that reality and you to the floor.
That 'ridiculous' idea...
Is at everyone's front door now.

And he did not run to become elected,
To further failures long neglected.
However...
If he 'is' here to fail,
To succumb to fools with those wishes...
The only thing they would notice about 'that',
Would be the fact he carries the pressures of being Black.
And any good deed that succeeds,
Will be ignored.

He comes to lead!
Not to deplete your sanity with deceit.
Even though this activity might continue,
To leave those who may be seeking more of it...
Left craving in withdrawal pains! '

Hospitable Hosts

To thieve and take,
May increase one's social status...
Among thieves.
And there are plenty who fake,
Being more than just thieves.

But a gathering of thieves does not perfume the air.
No matter what is used to diffuse the stench...
Many are proud to stink so loudly.
As viewed with noses lifted high in despair.

To thieve and take,
May increase one's social status...
Among thieves.
And there are plenty who fake,
Being more than just thieves.
Some even pretend to be humanitarian.
If not tax deducting philanthropers.

However...
Those who know they are straight up crooks,
Are the most entertaining and hospitable hosts.
They ensure everyone is provided comfort.

The Seven Sins again

>
> Do we as a people really know or care
> Concerning the seven sins?
>
> Those sins are apart of our every day life.
> Those sins are apart of our strife.
> I've heard the first was vanity or pride
>
> Now that is an hell of a ride...
> Be it physical or spiritual, how would
> One keep his/her feet on the ground?
>
> Sanity what a big role...
> Does God have pride? Then I am lost.
> What mean the word boss?
>
> Those seven sins has really cost,
> Things to be...
> Unfree and that will include me.

Was it pride that set Eve free
And made Adam give up his freedom of will?
Still...
I must appeal...
I am not ill...
But the seven is a thrill...for real,

What envy you? and who...why?
And do you cry?
The have and the have nots...
Gluttony would that be?

Are all seven just pure envy?
Lust not and bust...
Lust not and rust...

The wrath of lust not is have not,
Either way you go...
Whatever door...rich or poor,

Kindness and anger in the long run meet,
Good or bad we sit and eat.
Sometimes eating out of greed...
God speed...

Is lust greed or pride?
Or just sloth...denied?
A natural, physical and spiritual guide.

'Man she looks good'
Gluttony in the hood.

'He is so fine'...or just signs of the time,
Lust is not mine.

Hourglass

there is a going to waste that befalls us:
it is not in weight gained
it is not in vices taking toll—
it is not in the drag of having to work mostly
of there being more effort than reward,
of there being more strikes than hits—
it is not in debts, mortgages and bills nesting in heads
in family feuds over paper fetishes,
in the fronting of your marriage,
in the sharing your bed with a stranger
night after night after night—
in having no children,
being infertile or having had a miscarriage,
or having your children grow up,
the proceeding losing of touch—
it is not in the gaunt look of beauty once upon a time
and the lame attempt at keeping up face
of keeping up with a dress or with a watch—
it is not in wanting prestige but not getting it,
or acquiring it, but growing numb to it,
or in answering 'better than ever'—
it is not the let down of goals set and achieved
to then setting up new ones,
or in shattered dreams of shattering repetition
or the let down if they ever come true,
the futility of it all—
it is not the constraining of political maneuvers
inasmuch as it delivers people,
or in empowering you as you debase them—
it is not when spiritual paths dropp you where you left off,
when an awakening is only another way of being asleep,
perhaps more soundly—
it is not in the aging,
in memories warmer than reality,
in watching new generations go to waste alongside you,
in a grief, adjunct,
with everyone around you dying.

no, the befalling of waste comes
from the oxymoron of self-fulfillment,
and ignoring our rightful position,
and moving on nonchalant,
while trying to take everything down with you—
because of the inevitable fact
that it will be
that it is
that it was
all
in vain.

A Place Deserving Earned

From a place deserving earned,
That has given me rest...
I remember and appreciate each step,
That has gotten me here!
To succeed with a quest...
Once disrespected with protest.

But...
I am here to acknowledge,
How sweet it is to witness defeat.
When others make attempts,
To minimize one's good deeds...
Sometimes enjoyed with tears,
When shown in reality to finally be reaped.

I had to clear weeds from my path,
That were planted to confuse my mission.
I had to ignore those who laughed,
And sat...
Creating limits and upsetting restrictions.

But...
I am here to acknowledge,
How sweet defeat is...
When others make attempts,
To minimize one's good deeds...
Sometimes enjoyed with tears,
When shown in reality to finally be reaped.

From a place deserving earned,
That has given me rest...
I remember and appreciate each step,
That has gotten me here!
To succeed with a quest...
Once disrespected with protest.
And yet...
Aided to the feelings of my success.

Endless Greed

The greed of humans, haunts us all,
Till this very day, humans have not learn to share.
To those who have felt the sensation, even in the mall,
The chances of people feeling this sensation is very rare.

Though adults say we must give,
The question is, do they?
Some say we must give to live,
Though I know deep inside, the saying is not true, anyway.

Humans come from far and near,
Humans come from high and low.
Humans from different places,
Come to witness this tragedy.

On the day when humans no longer greed,
The world will finally be on it's feet.
The world can now walk freely,
As long as no one is greedy.

Moment Of Forgiveness

Well i guess that i was lonely
That's why i called you on the phone
Cause in a moment of forgiveness
I didn't want to be alone
And i guess that i was willin
More than i ever was before
Cause in a moment of forgiveness
I come a knockin at your door
Baby i woke up crying last night
Just to realize that you were gone
Has it been two long years without you
Tell me now
When are you gonna come home
Guess that i was hoping
That you'd finally understand
And in a moment of forgiveness
You'd reach out and take my hand
Now baby i know
Your not one for bearing witness
(baby i know)
And you told me that
One wrong move is gonna sell you out
(one wrong move)
And i see that you kept your word
(see that you kept your word)
And made it harder than it had to be
Wish i could save you the trouble baby
(oh oh oh)
Give you a little piece of mind
Baby i woke up crying last night
Just to realize that you were gone
It's been two long years without you
When are you gonna come home
Guess that i was hoping
That you'd finally understand
And in a moment of forgiveness
You'd reach out and take my hand
And in a moment of forgiveness
You'd reach out and take my hand

Worthless and Trifling

Forgers.
Circumventers.
Thieves.
Call them what you will.
Ambassadors of Cut and Paste.
Plagiarists with no taste.
Crooks.
Or folks no one should trust.
They are all over the place...
Doing their best to crush,
Someone else's good luck.

And they will use any scheme,
To demeam from their low self esteem.
And in their haste to do so...
They prove and show themselves to be,
Worthless and trifling human beings.
Who believe their actions,
Are not obviously seen.

Blanket Of Fear

I am awake under this blanket of fear
and i must say
none of the people i see belong here
now everyone's asleep
I am awake and I am dreaming
I believe it's time for a rude awakening
HOLD ON TO YOUR DREAMS
BECAUSE YOUR NIGHTMARES
MIGHT SEEM LIKE THEY'RE YOUR REALITY
I believe
the only thing we have to fear is fear itself
and the man behind the curtain
I heard him say
"Dreamers have become an endangered species,
and i am aware of the rude awakening"
I'm falling in my dream
I finally hit the ground
because i can't keep my mind
from going into dark places

I Hated Those Multiple Choice Questions

Greed has chased their jobs,
And employers overseas.
Outsourcing was the word I heard...
When a few years ago,
I was downsized and released.

And when I heard the word 'downsized',
I didn't think it meant out the door.
And that's when I began to see...
Economics!
And what that term was used for.

Too many debits decreases credits.
And a negative credit,
Needs cash to cover it.
When no cash is there...
The cupboards grow bare.
And my mama taught me that...
When I'd ask for a dollar and she would stare,
'Boy where do you think money comes from?
Out of the blue?
Picked off trees?
Thin air? '

Hmmm...
I hated those multiple choice questions!
I wonder...
Is it 'All' or 'None Above'?
And not a hint on her face as to a clue.

Greed has chased their jobs,
And employers overseas.
Outsourcing was the word I heard...
When a few years ago,
I was downsized and released.

And people are screaming for their lifestyles back!
But I learned very early in my life,
If no cash is to be had...
Wishes and dreams stay right where they are at!
And those delusioned by grandeur need to face the facts.

Vocal and With Media Means

Many vocal,
And with media means!
Continue to defend...
Their decaying beliefs,
And abundant ignorance.

With claims to be conservative,
With interests to protect...
A decadent way of life.
That has been influenced by an absence,
Of standards proclaimed they maintain!

A declining of humanity,
Has imprints of their corruption.
Conflicts they have inspired...
By their self centered eruptions.

An economy has deplenished...
From an active greed they have practiced.
And all the signs are clearly there,
Their actions have distracted away from unity!
And they betray with deceit!

Crooks and thieves...
With demonic intentions!
