Portraying Themselves As Friends
I don't care who told it...
When it was told to who and why.
When a lie leaves someone's lips,
And they are quick to try to cover it...
With additional nonsense that makes less sense,
I feel offended, disrespected...
And I will not get over it!
I do not exist for that kind of crap to persist,
In my life.
Not mine.
Folks like that,
I could care less who they are.
They will not get other opportunities,
To do what they do to others to me!
I am not that kind of forgiver.
When I give of myself,
I deliver.
And there is nothing below the surface that I hide.
But I will bury quick...
An association I discover has been based upon lies!
Too much of that is observed.
And cowards portraying themselves as friends...
Are the first to think its a joke,
To do you in!
And believe your reaction to them is not deserved!

I'm Taking You Off My Best Friends' List
I'm taking you off my best friends' list.
Yes,
I am.
If I have to put up with your nonsense,
And you don't have time for mine...
I get offended by it.
I don't care if you do have things in your life,
To prioritize.
Or that I might contact you,
At the most inappropriate times.
Or...
You just might like some time to be left alone.
Or...
That I've done the same thing to you,
And my activities you've condone.
So what!
I'm taking you off my best friends' list.
Yes,
I am.
If I have to put up with your nonsense,
And you don't have time for mine...
I get offended by it.
Especially when I have time to sit,
With a wasting of time!
And you have none for me that exist.
I've tolerated your selfishness!
How come this time,
You can not tolerate mine?
I'm taking you off my best friends' list.
Well...
I'm moving you to number 2!
And I could care less how you feel about it!
Hello?
HELLO? ?
I know you did not give me dial tone!

Hoax
As they stumble over the crumbling of their foundations...
They still insist they must persist,
To inflict their standards and values.
But a hoax has provoked most folks.
And the joke invoked has them now in tears.
The gloom and doomers have appeared.
They wish to soften the effects of their demise.
Quick they try to cover all told lies.
To hide their deceptions with an injection of relief.
And a promise to restore a greatness,
Anyone of a consciousness can see...
Has been a game for thieves to play,
At their expense and ignorance.
Those precocious folks learn to hoax,
Early.

Should Have Never Told Me
You should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Ever since that day I saw your lovely face
You were on my mind
I knew that one day I would make you love me
It was just a matter of time
Every night and every day, girl
Im thinking of you
Girl, I cant believe youre mine
Way you kiss, youre right on time
Should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
If by chance I owned the whole world
Id give it to you
All Im trying to say
Love you through and through
Girl, lets stay together for life
cause you are my sugar and spice
Should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Naw, baby
Oh, baby
Should have never told me
That you love me
Should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Should have never told me
That you love me
Should have never told me, told me, told me

Quick
Quick to dismiss,
That which is misunderstood.
And quick to do this often.
Because one can and could.
Quick to define something wrong.
Quick to complain about it,
All day long.
Quick to sit to nitpick and pull apart.
As if this quickness was intended from the start.
Quick to resist a comprehension that exist.
Quick to allow a temper tantrum fit.
Quick to whip up excuses...
And split to disappear.
Quick to discover the nearest exit!
That's what troublemakers do...
When they stir up others in raging fits!

Stung
Lies.
My lies.
My lies.
I learned to quick admit them.
Lies.
My lies.
My lies.
I learned to quick admit them.
When I was young I said I was stung by a bee.
And I was told not to go where I shouldn't be.
And then I 'fibbed' thinking this would benefit.
And right away my mama punished me for it...
'Cause I led.
Lies.
My lies.
My lies.
I learned to quick admit them.
Lies.
My lies.
My lies.
I learned to quick admit them.
My mama struck me and my lips went out poked.
She said don't ever lie and she was no joke.
And I cried.
I cried.
I cried.
My mama stung and I was punished...
From lies.
Telling lies.
My lies.
My mama stung and I was punished...
From lies.
Telling lies.
My lies.
And I learned quick to admit them!

Shoot From The Hip
If you want to get it quick.
I shoot from the hip.
Not a mumble do I grumbled,
Nor backstabbing gossiped hits.
I'm not one to leave you wondering...
What's on my mind,
Not a bit.
I don't hide my words,
When I choose to be heard.
If you want to get it straight.
I shoot from the hip.
Without a moment of delay.
I say it I don't spit.
If it's not liked how it is,
That's your business...
I'm not pissed.
Nor will you leave me in a fit.
To quiver with shut lips.
If you want to get it quick.
I shoot from the hip.
Not a mumble do I grumbled,
Nor pout and sit.
I'm not the kind to leave you wondering,
What's on my mind to admit!
Or suggest you see a psychic...
To tell you what you want and like it!
If you want to get it quick.
I shoot from the hip.
I'm not the kind to leave you wondering,
What's on my mind to admit!
If it's not liked as it is...
I'm not the kind to get pissed.
I'll deliver what I give you,
And that is it!
'So you're sayin' you do what? '
I shoot from the hip.
'What about the ears of others?
I shoot from the hip.
'What if they should have druthers? '
I said I shoot from the hip.
If they don't want to hear it,
Like it is from my lips...
They can turn around and I will kick them,
Where they are split!
Not a mumble do I grumbled.
I shoot from the hip.
No stumble do I fumble on...
I shoot from the hip!
If it's not liked how it is,
I will not get pissed.
Nor will I leave you quietly,
To quiver with shut lips.

Beak Kind To Birds!
Beak kind to birds both near and far,
Both high and low as well...
To me, each bird's a superstar!
In fact, to me, they're swell!
Beak kind to birds and show you care
With titbits now and then...
And watch with wonder as they share
Their breakfast once again!
Beak kind and keep your cats at bay...
Else feeding birds take flight!
It's nicer seeing birds at play
Than watching them take fright!
Beak kind to birds, give them their space
So they may co-exist...
For none on Earth can take their place,
So they'd be sorely missed!
Beak kind to birds, they'll flock to you -
They're all our feathered friends!
It doesn't matter, black or blue...
Beak kind - 'cos it makes sense!

Their Actions Never Made Sense
'What is the matter?
You look as if you've been told a joke? '
No.
But you can look at it that way.
I just spoke to a fool.
'Oh? '
Yeah.
Accused me of being aloof and distant.
As if I thought I was better than the others.
As if I did not want to be bothered with them.
'You're not talking about those same people?
Why don't you just ignore them? '
I try but I can't.
It was great when they ignored me,
And walked around with their noses in the air.
In fact,
I welcomed it
They believed me to be beneath them.
'What changed? '
I guess they discovered I didn't care.
And I was totally happy with peace of mind.
'Is that why you're smiling? '
For the most part.
I was just chastised,
For not accepting an invitation.
'Chastised?
That doesn't make a bit of sense.'
That's why I'm smiling.
I was just told,
I offended those in the clique.
You know...
The ones in the 'inner circle'?
The movers and shakers?
The same folks who announced I was a joke?
'But why are they bothering you? '
That's why I'm smiling.
It took this this long to realize they are crazed.
And 'now' that it has been validated...
They believe I am worthy to be embraced.
'That doesn't make a bit of sense! '
Would you stop saying that!
That's why I am smiling.
Their actions never made sense,
From the beginning.

Zero, Zero and Zero
'Zero, zero and zero'
Anything may find real worth with zero
Add something after figure then it may enhance its prestige
Put zero before any figure may devalue and put in freeze
Until you add zero it will not show importance
So zero after one makes it ten by chance
Your nine principles are certainly observed
But then you certainly need zero or deserve
Zero brings you back to fold
'Life may end' as you are told
Start with anything but end soon
It may take place at any time even in noon
Any kind of foolishness is named as big round
We may laugh and cut joke as it is ready made found
Person feels insulted if named as of no value
Even if he may be brilliant and worth many dues
It has potential to raise you up on ground
Bring down quickly and dash you for never to be found
It is blessed with all kind of elevation
Downward or upward with quick count relation
So never hesitate or feel shame with zero potential
It has value in real terms and can make you feel substantial
It may make you king and poor at next second
It has real capacity to be felt in world

If The Surface For Them Did Not Exist
If the surface didn't exist,
Many wouldn't have a thought to cling to.
Many wouldn't know,
Which gossip heard was true.
If the surface for them did not exist.
If the surface didn't exist,
The many dependent on having lives not their own...
Would be lost without being told what to do.
Many absolutely would not have a clue...
How to find their way around,
Without following in someone's footsteps.
If the surface they sniffed did not exist.
And if the surface for them did not exist...
They would not be able to sit alone,
Doing something completely on their own...
And appreciating life,
With the minding of their own business.
If...
The surface for many did not exist,
It would be taumatic for them to seek a thought process.
Many would not know where or how to begin.
So many are accustomed to living lives that are shallow.
With an ability only to identify with that...
Which is supplied and arrives to them surfacely.
Even a dog sniffing tries to find a place to bury a bone.
And doing that alone.

Where Is He Now?
Jesus was a jew.
He gave his life up too.
Now we realize through it all,
the lies he told so bold and cruel.
There is no hope or compencence,
from the daily pain that makes no sense.
I curse his name for all his bilge.
When he told us to repent,
he said all would be better,
all pain relent.
He lied again that selfish man.
Screw him and his worthless plan.
The earth now crumbles at his feet,
he does not care it makes me weep.
The pain and lonliness crush me through,
the endless days in maddness too.
Where is he now our golden calf?
He's left us here with no helpful path.
He doesn't care,
he never will.
So here I've come my guts to spill.
Forget him and his treachourous lies.
We'll be better off when his memory dies.
Join me now and take a stand.
We'll hear no more of this wretched man.

A Venture
Once a peaceful man laid his old head down by a river,
Thought about his childhood life, his father and forgiver,
Couldnt hide away, hide away.
He controlled the horses with a handclap or a whisper,
Drink he couldnt combat but he knew he was no sinner,
Couldnt hide away, hide away.
He told all his sons of all the antics of adventure,
Then he told another one who drove himself to drink
Not to hide away, hide away.
Better men have realized alone is not a venture,
A decent man would realize alone is not a venture,
Just to hide away, hide away.
He told all his sons of all the antics of adventure,
Then he told another one who drove himself to drink
Not to hide away, hide away.

Do yah?

Will you surmise I've been had?
Oh-oh
Oh, and say get over it...
And be a man!
You Don't know how much I can care!

One day you'll see it,
You Don't know how much I can care!
Do yah?
Do yah?
Do ya do yah do yah? ?

Bipolar Syndrome
You told me to fly
But you break the wings
Do you want me to fall
So that you can win
You told me to smile
But you raise the fear
Do you want me to lie
To hide all those tears
You told me to let
But you bring back again
Don't you want me forget
Those desperate games
You told me to change
But you keep calling my name
Don't you want me ruin
The peace I finally gain
You told me be strong
But you dropp me sorrow
Do you want me be drown
Never see tomorrow
You told me be brave
But you seem not to care
Do you want me be flare
So you can not stop to stare
You told me be the best
But you never understand
Do you want me restrain
To do what I desire
You told me to dream
But you crush my hope
Do you want me be bound
By your beautiful lies

I Wanna Hear It From Your Lips
(eric carmen/dean pitchford)
I hear it from my friends
I hear it on the street
I hear it in the air, here and there, everywhere
And from everyone I meet
And every time I hear you love me
Ooh, my heart skips
But I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh, you never told me)
I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh)
I hear it in my car
I hear it on the phone
I hear it in a crowd, nice and loud, completely now
I hear it when Im all alone
And every time I hear you love me
Ooh, my heart skips
But I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh, you never told me)
I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh)
Everybodys been told, and the whole world knows
Just how good our love is gonna be
But ooh-ee (ooh-ee), baby (baby)
You never told me
You never told me
I see it in your eyes
I feel it in your touch
You even found a way you can say all you mean
But you never say too much
And if youd only say you love me
Ooh, my heartll flip
And I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh, you never told me)
I got to hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh you never told me)
Baby, baby, I got to have it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh, you never told me)
I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh, you never told me)
I wanna hear it from your lips
(you never told me, ooh, you never told me)
I wanna hear it from your lips

Some Of My Lies Are True
Say you wanna be a friend of mine
See me all the time
You don't care what i do
But it all sounds the same to me
Hey, can't you see
It's just like i told you
I know you think that i've
Been stringing you along
And that i've told you a few, but
(chorus)
Sooner or later when you say i love you
You're gonna realize that
Some of my lies are true
I never told you that i was the one
Said it just for fun
You know, you knew it too
So why so much on the telephone
I'm never home
It's just like i told you
Because it's real the way you used to make me feel
It makes it so hard to say
But nothing can change the way i feel today
Don't you see that
Sooner or later when you say i love you
Your gonna
Realize that some of my lies are true
(repeat chorus x 2)
Because it's real the way you used to make me feel
It makes it so hard to say but
Nothing can change the way i feel today
Don't you see that
(repeat chorus x 3)

I Told Myself
I told myself
You do love me
Is it really true?
She asked me
I told myself
You care for me
Are you really sure?
She asked me
I told myself
You do miss me
As often as you?
She asked me
I told myself
You need me too
Are you guessing?
She asked me
I told myself
You never tell me
Why on Earth?
She asked me
I told myself
You hide a lot…
Is that friendship?
She asked me
I told myself
You think too much
Does he not feel?
She asked me
Tell me, my love
What shall I say?
To all those queries
That she asked me...
How should I answer?
What should I ponder?
Tell me the truth
For she still asks me...
You For Me
And Me For You
Is it the Future?
One last Question
She did ask me.
I don’t have the answers
Yet she keeps asking me…
May be, she knows,
One day, one moment
You’ll let her know
How you feel for me...

The Rook And The Sparrows
A little boy with crumbs of bread
Many a hungry sparrow fed.
It was a child of little sense,
Who this kind bounty did dispense;
For suddenly it was withdrawn,
And all the birds were left forlorn,
In a hard time of frost and snow,
Not knowing where for food to go.
He would no longer give them bread,
Because he had observed (he said)
That sometimes to the window came
A great black bird, a rook by name,
And took away a small bird's share.
So foolish Henry did not care
What became of the great rook,
That from the little sparrows took,
Now and then, as 'twere by stealth,
A part of their abundant wealth;
Nor ever more would feed his sparrows.
Thus ignorance a kind heart narrows.
I wish I had been there, I would
Have told the child, rooks live by food
In the same way that sparrows do.
I also would have told him too,
Birds act by instinct, and ne'er can
Attain the rectitude of man.
Nay that even, when distress
Does on poor human nature press,
We need not be too strict in seeing
The failings of a fellow being.
