Facing Reality
Feeling like a ghost
when the people I want to see me don't
I take out my rejection on the ones I love the most
I dont face the blackness
no I go on facebook and make a status
hoping my sadness shows my sad times
hoping they like it, hoping they read between the lines
if she comments she will care
I go away so I come back to see no notification there
I'm sad but I think its sad what this world has come to
face to face conversation a social network has out run you
I've been going round in circles looking for love
tell me if it is bad to say that one night wasnt good?
lets talk, lets meet up sometime, some place
am I old fasioned to say I want conversation face to face?
you cant give me what I want and I will not change.
When you see me in the paper will you turn the page?

Hasn't the time arrived,
For those accomplished in conniving tasks...
Of planting booby traps,
To catch people off guard...
A throwback to a childish past?
And what purpose is served,
When grown folks laugh?
Hasn't the time arrived,
For the ones who 'should' be mature...
To set aside their hiding behind masks,
With a demonstrating to those younger...
That a life lived of being a fool,
Does not forever last?

Issues are abound and around,
Issues break the hearts astound,
Issues encourage being excellent,
Issues envisage the predicament,
Issues are the oars to push the boat,
Issues are umbrellas, get wet, not protects,

Many say they can deliver,
But only few can receive.
Lips flapping nonstop...

Ears may be wide open,

The Needs Of All People
If the needs of all people,
Had with persistence been a promise met...
To reflect a sincerity and prioritized as kept,
There would be no homelessness or hunger to regret.
Yet...
The needs of all people,
Were ignored to feed a few their greed.
Leaving those same greedy people,
To panic and cause havoc...
With a doing done selfishly.
And realizing the feast they have fed,
Has from them fled permanently!
With no one perceiving they deserve sympathy.
'Excuse us those who weep.
But we have arrived to feed the needs of those meek,
And faithfully loyal to all humanity.'
