Peter and The Wolf
Let's face it,
We all make mistakes.
And somewhere,
Up or down the road of our travels...
An attention we should have paid,
Had been missed.
But the passing of judgement?
Well...
That's in our DNA.
Who hasn't done it?
However...
A suggestion given,
With a hint of advice ignored...
Continually and consistently,
From those experienced and looking at life...
As they live from the trenches on the frontlines,
Doesn't prepare one for an invasion of their realities.
You see...
There are many people trying to avoid others from playing,
Peter and the Wolf.
Although a viewing of it is highly recommended.
Those wolves have long left the forest.

Over Our Heads
I don't think you love me
Confusion settling in
I don't think I'll be staying
Around here, anymore
There's no question that I love you
But I'm living in my own time
And here I am debating
Whether I'm wrong, or right
Who am I
To make a judgement of
Your life
I'm only
Passing by
Passing by
All the promises I gave you
Helped me to survive
And all the times I wished you'd save me
You were the love of my life
Who am I
To make a judgement of
Your life
I'm only
Passing by

Who am I
To make a judgement of
Your life

You May Not Remember Me. But...
The best advice ever given to someone,
Was probably solicited.
With a promise not to become offended,
When the decision was made to deliver it.
To eventually despise the one who was direct.
Yes?
And after years of being upset...
The one given the advice once in denial,
Recognizes the advice to be the best.
Right?
And then with a doing...
There is an attempt to make amends.
Hoping to be forgiven.
'Hello...
You may not remember me.
But...
I was the one who asked for your advice.
And after you gave it to me...
I accused you of being mean and cruel.
And did everything I could to ruin your life.
Do you remember me?
Hello?
Hello? '
Well...
In 'some' cases when asking for advice,
And that advice is disliked?
It is highly recommended,
To leave one's mother out of it.
With an insinuating of one's preference.
Or disgracing someone,
Because of something you've done!
Since it is hard to overcome,
An impression made left as a reference.

Don't Want Nuthin' From U
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
If you gave a stack of money,
I'd give right back!
I'm done.
I'm through with you.
You've lost my trust.
You make me sick to my guts.
I'm done.
I'm through with you.
Once you lie and cheat.
You wont with me repeat.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
If you gave a stack of money,
I'd give right back!
When you open your mouth,
BS comes out.
And I'm tired of that.
But to you that doesn't matter.
When you look at me,
I know you're lieing through your teeth.
And I'm tired of that.
But to you that doesn't matter.
I'm done.
I'm through with you.
Once you lie and cheat.
You wont with me repeat.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I'm done.
I'm through.
There's nothing new for us to do.
Good riddence.
Goodbye.
You lie!

Never Knew I Was Losing You
Mark:
I'm feeling so alone now tonight
Even though you're here by my side
Is there something on your mind
From the world you'd left behind
I feel as if the loved shared before
Doesn't wanna be here no more
And if there's something on your mind
There's never been a better time
To tell me
Bryan:
Do you love me
Still wanting me
Like I need you, oh
All:
There came a crossing on the road
If only there were signs to show me
Which direction I should go
I live my life with no regrets
It hasn't caught up on me yet
But I never knew I was losing you
Nicky:
I wonder as you walk through the door
Are you gonna hurt me some more
Never took you for the kind
Who would play up on my mind
Bryan:
Tell me what are you looking for
I can't play your games anymore
And when there's something on my mind
I will always find the time
To tell you
I still love you
Still wanting you
How I need you, oh
All:
There came a crossing on the road
If only there were signs to show me
Which direction I should go
I live my life with no regrets
It hasn't caught up on me yet
Well I never knew I was losing you
Losing you
Bryan:
It's not for the first time
That someone else has hurt me
By faking it too long
Where did we go wrong, yeah
All:
There came a crossing on the road
If only there were signs to show me
Which direction I should go
I live my life with no regrets
It hasn't caught up on me yet
Well I never knew I was losing you
There came a crossing on the road
If only there were signs to show me
Which direction I should go
I live my life with no regrets
It hasn't caught up on me yet
Well I never knew I was losing you
Losing you

Mistakes
The mistake I made was meeting you,
You ruin my life,
My life was bad before you came a long I had a good life,
Ever since you ruin my life,
My life hasn’t been the same,
My life has pointless then it was,
I missed all the times I used to have,
I missed having all the time in the world but yet choose to be online,
My mistakes was us every beginning friends,
We were better off as foe’s,
Foe’s are better then having someone you thing about or can hurt you in the end,
My mistake I made will always forever follow me.

True Love Travels On A Gravel Road (Takes 6,7)
How many girls choose cotton dress worlds
When they could have satins and lace
And stand by her man, never once letting shade touch her face
How many hearts could live through all the winters
We've known and still not be cold
True love travels on a gravel road.
Love is a stranger and hearts are in danger
All through streets paved with gold
For true love travels on a gravel road.
Down through the years we've had hard times and tears
But they only helped our love grow
And we'll stay together no matter how strong the wind blows
Not once have I seen your blue eyes filled with envy
Or stray from the one that you hold
Oh true love travels on a gravel road.
Love is a stranger and hearts are in danger
All through streets paved with gold
For true love travels on a gravel road.
Yeah, true love travels on a gravel road. Mmmm
True love travels on a gravel road.
True love travels on a gravel road.

Abnormal
One who has lived a life protected,
With an encouragement...
To fear the making of mistakes.
Is destined to live an insecure existence.
With drama to traumatize on a daily basis.
They have been conditioned,
To perceive those who live their lives...
As they wish,
To be the ones abnormal.
With mental issues left to go unaddressed.
Although,
Those depicted as being 'abnormal'...
Are less inclined to be found,
Passing judgement on others as seen all around...
From a self righteous point of view pursued with conflict.

With No Where But Lower To Go
You haven't dished anything on me,
I haven't dished on my self.
Or left spilled milk left to dip.
I'm living my life with a faith I believe.
And not doing it passing judgement,
As many do...gleefully!
Those who hide and backbite too.
Are accustomed to slither the way they do.
Some of them want an attention they get.
And some no one can befriend!
They perceive this as a weakness.
With a disrespecting they begin!
Anyone that hasn't been mentioned,
In enviroments where snakes reside...
Are not the ones that are decided,
Their lives are to be criticized.
Only the ones who attempt to get things done,
Are subjected to some dirt thrown to appease for fun.
With something,
Whatever it is...
To malign and despise an affliction on someone.
These are the times and the days of our lives.
And those living 'downlow' are the most miserable.
With no where but lower to go.
And tears to cry to expose and show.

Wide Open Space
Who doesn't know what I'm talking about
Who's never left home, never struck out
To find a dream and a life of their own
A place in the clouds, a foundation of stone
Many precede and many will follow
A young girl's dream no longer hollow
It takes the shape of a place out west
But what it holds for her, she hasn't yet guessed
<>
She needs wide open spaces
Room to make her big mistakes
She needs new faces
She knows the high stakes
She traveled this road as a child
Wide-eyed and grinning she never tired
But now she won't be coming back with the rest
If these are life's lessons, she'll take this test
<>
As her folks drive away her dad yells, "Check the oil!"
Mom stares out the window and says,
"I'm leaving my girl."
She says "It didn't seem like that long ago
When she stood there and let her own folks know."

Aims of Earthly Life
There are tears to shed but much more to wipe;
There are joys to live for but more to give;
There are days to remember and some to forget;
There are places to visit but some to avoid;
There are friends to make and foes to love;
There are moments special that we can never forget.
There are smiles to show but more smiles to evoke;
There are laughs to make but much laughter to create.
There are roles to play and goals to attain;
There are footprints to leave and more scars to remove;
There are duties to perform than ones to demand;
There is love to take but much more to make!
There are wishes to make but more promises to keep;
There are dreams to realize but more realities to dream of;
There are hopes to live life and travail to cope with;
There are words to hear but better ones to utter;
There is advice to give but more to live by!
There is scant time in life but none to waste!

The Green Roads
The green roads that end in the forest
Are strewn with white goose feathers this June,
Life marks left behind by someone gone to the forest
To show his track. But he has never come back.
Down each green road a cottage looks at the forest.
Round one the nettle towers; two are bathed in flowers.
An old man along the green road to the forest
Strays from one, from another a child alone.
In the thicket bordering the forest,
All day long a thrush twiddles his song.
It is old, but the trees are young in the forest,
All but one like a castle keep, in the middle deep.
That oak saw the ages pass in the forest:
They were a host, but their memories are lost,
For the tree is dead: all things forget the forest
Excepting perhaps me, when now I see
The old man, the child, the goose feathers at the edge of the forest,
And hear all day long the thrush repeat his song.

Personalized And Thought To Be
Nobody lives,
Without some kind of conflict going on...
That is personalized and thought to be,
Experienced to feel as if alone.
To get an attention paid to it.
And...
As human beings we like to be acknowledged,
By somebody else we want to believe cares.
This is as natural as the passing of gas.
It may not be socially etiquette to admit it done,
But everybody does it to do.

If You
If you cannot ask for forgiveness
Can you forgive,
If you cannot say that you are sorry
Do you enjoy the life that you live,
If you cannot cry a tear
Do you expect tears to be wept for you,
If you cannot feel any sorrow
In judgement then what will you do,
If you will not admit your mistakes
Do you point out the errors in others,
If you will not listen to good
Do you let evil triumph over another,
If you cannot tell the truth
Will you only listen to lies,
If you will not walk a righteous road
A crooked road walked will be your prize,
If you do not have the faith
Can you hope or could you believe,
If you do not have any morals
Could you believe in what you do not see,
If you cannot keep a promise
Can you not keep an oath,
If you cannot be honest or even trusted
Then sadly you will lose both,
If you must walk a road in shame
Can you be joyful with the things you do,
If you live a life of guilt and pity
Then how you are seen, is up to you.

Flight Status
I don't believe I know too many people,
Who have to be consistently warned...
To move out of harms way.
Or be convinced that death may threaten.
Those I know love life.
And any hint or clue Mother Nature gives,
That she 'may' show up in the neighbood...
Cranky!
With the huffing and puffing up dangerous winds?
That 'should' give anyone reason to prepare,
For flight status.
Those who have desires,
To confront Mother Nature's bad side...
Are either crazy,
Or...
There is no 'or'!
Those folks are nutts!

The Fall Of War
How many lost people will lose so you could gain
Is it possible for you to make the Earth spin faster?
How much will they pay for your mistakes?
Could you sleep better if you were sane?
Oh America
Why pray to a flag?
It won't wrap you up and keep you warm
Why set the times for you to fight?
When you fall asleep, you won't dream with clocks under your arms
Oh America
Destiny isn't charted or drawn
Faith is an imagination
Hope is a give and take kind of thing
Domination is your mostly likely flaw, but I hate it
Oh America
Stop
Drop your weapons
Prepare for immediate death
Heaven's gate has closed
Your God has no time to save you
Stop I said
America, no one can tell the time when judgement day will come
Hell's fire will stream stronger and shine
Russia, China, Afghanistan, and Iraq will push America to the front of the line
All countries of war, your mistakes have been paid for, and you are dead and gone
Now you are all one in a new America
