Sonnet: Forgiveness

Revenge, if o’er-come by Forgiveness be,
What a wonderful world it turns truly!
Forgive your neighbor first and only then,
You expect God’s Forgiveness for Heaven.

Forgiving foes is not an easy task;
’Tis not like wearing for face, heart new mask;
Forgiving’s better than seeking revenge;
Learn this great wisdom and do not avenge.

The world we live in is imperfect, oh!
To injustice, we have to sometimes bow;
Taking revenge can’t solve all our matters;
Love, Forgiveness always never falters.

Love is thy weapon, O victimized man!
Forgive neighbors like Almighty, human!

When lovers don't forgive

Even if one flew a coop,
To get cool...
Two people living in it may not be that too forgiving.
And even if one didn't have a bad attitude...
Two people living in it may not be that too forgiving.

When people love to argue it is best to leave,
All those beliefs one thinks are right.
Especially if the other one...
Likes to argue fuss and fight.

When lovers start to quarreling and there is no end,
It's better that one leaves,
Taking deep breaths that begins...

Finding Words to Define Regret

Be not me,
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?

But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.

We do and we don't,
And most times it's ignored.
We can be under one roof...
Yet behind separate doors.

I am he
You once adored.
The one committed
To adventure
We said we'd explore?

We're on different shores...
Together.

Be not 'me',
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?

But not me,
Is that one who is...

That part of me you took for granted,
Had to heal and mend when my eyes opened.

You talk like a docker but you act like a queer

You try so hard not to follow any trends
Then you cry in your beer and say youve got no friends
But is it any wonder that youve got no friends

Its not your appearance, that they all detest

That Forgiveness They Seek

After decades of declaring created enemies,
They wanted others to believe...
Were full of jealousy and envy.
With a doing of awful things to themselves,
To gain and plot the getting of attention...
From those willing to give them empathy.
And empathy to them had been given.

They now wish to call a truce.
But with who or whom will they truce with a doing?
Those whose lives they have ruined to defame?
Or the ones they deceived into believing,
Those enemies selected and picked...
Would have never thought of them existing,
If they had initially minded their own business.

What is the purpose of forgiving anyone,
Who spends their time...
Proving to others they've been out of their minds.
And that forgiveness they seek,
Should be of themselves with lessons taught to teach.
Since they chose to reek their own havoc,
Blamed to have been done by someone else.

And...
Successful in the doing of it they had been.
Until it was exposed...
They chose their own descent.
Without comprehending...
Those of substance and integrity are not shallow.
Nor corrupted by limited mentalities deluded.

Doing their best to peg and plot to slot slander,
Anywhere a suspicious kindness sits...
To deliver confusion,
With an amused wickedness.
That is their choice of direction.

And 'blasphemous'?
Oh yes!

This is not a matter of suggestion.
It is as obvious as light pierces darkness.
Those who love to speak of God,
And whisper demonic gossip...
Maybe a next door neighbor.

These creatures crawl all over the place!
And fast.

Saying who should be doing what and how...
With no lives to live of their own.
None that is shown,
They can mine their own business.

What Else Can You Do?

What else can they do?
After they have offended,
With disrespect...
Publicly denounced,
And rejected you?
And it was later discovered...
You were selected by God,
To protect them.
And you no longer have that need.
To acknowledge them or hear their pleas.
Especially...
When all you came to offer was love!
And that was something they prayed to receive!
What else can you do?
When God is watching you make attempts to deliver.
And He decides...
You should not compromise your dignity and pride!
What else can you do?
But follow those wishes...
And be blessed with the gifts,
God has given you to use!
And not waste your time,
Being abused by the confused.
What else can you do?
Even though they turned their backs on you...
Should you do the same thing done to you too?
What else can you do?

Welcome Change

Change is inevitable,
But yet we fight it, just the same.

Change is essential to our evolution.

Change is going to happen,
In fact, it happens every day,
Maybe it is too small to see, or perhaps we would rather not see it.

We fight change, because we fight the unknown,
We fight the unknown, because we are scared,
Scared of change, scared of the unknown.

If we were to allow change to happen freely,
We might find solutions to the problems that exist around us,
But instead, we are hung - up on controlling everything around us.

Maybe this is the problem with the world today.
Everyone assumes control of everything and does not allow nature to run her course.

Maybe this is why, we have devastating fall out from Nature,
Natural catastrophic disasters, such as fire and flooding.

We fight change, therefore we are fighting nature and her natural being and her existence
in the world that she has created by God's hand and has graciously allowed us to be a
part of .

We should welcome change and allow nature to control our destiny.

Change is uncontrollable,
Change is inevitable,
Change is the unknown.

Nature takes pride in being one of life's illusive wonders, the unknown.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts.... We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

This world requires love in various forms,
And forgiving an attitude always;
Not, pomp and show and wealth, those go to worms;
We ought to change our blunders, erring ways!

This world needs dignity for all brethren;
Insecure life is terrorism’s cause;
Remember equality of all men;
A few nations can’t call themselves, ‘The Boss! ’

The earth’s resources can’t belong to few;
No war should be declared even on foes!
The environs cannot be made anew;
Let’s join our hands to crush all human woes!

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is an act that works through God;
Forgiveness is an act of God in man;
Forgiveness is the work of God’s great love;
Forgiveness is an art that man must learn!

Men with good sense will restrain their anger;
Such men defer their anger for long times;
To forgive transgressions is man’s glory;
To hold one’s tongue is done by people smart.

Forgiving is an act almost divine;
Forgiving is something not all can do;
Forgiving someone is too tough at times;
Forgiving fully is done by just few!

To preach is easy; forgiving is tough;
Forgiving is an honor of men wise;
If God should forgive us, we must forgive;
Like God, we must be slow to anger too.

‘Forgive those who sin against us, ’ tells Christ;
To gain God’s forgiveness, we must then, first;
There is no limit to forgive someone;
Forgiveness is a virtue Jesus taught.

One who forgives has no revenge in heart;
One who forgives has no hate from the start;
‘Forgive and God will forgive you, ’ says Lord.
Forgiving plants the seed of love of God.

When all are sinners, forgiveness is prime;
By doing so, we gain the love of God;
Through forgiveness, our tolerance will grow;
For prayers to be heard, forgive right now!

A man with grudge is like a fruitless tree!
Grudge can stand in-between you and heaven!
Spare no occasion of forgiving men;
Judge not others but show mercy on them!

We turn like God when we forgive others;
Forgiving earns more souls for God, brothers!

Frozen Stiff

When you have spent most of your life,
Donating time in devotion to others.
And all they can express,
Is a selfish disrespect.
With nothing but stagnation to invest.
And a deceiving achieved that stifles,
Their own progress!

You can choose to do what I've done!
As an alternative to nothing.

You can elect to concentrate your focus,
On taking misplaced weight...
Off of hunching shoulders.
To leave folks to dance in hypnotic trances.
Suitable to those who have been frozen stiff.
Awaiting appropriate identification.
Selected for those who have been misfit.

Some folks grow and do show it!
While others have stopped completely breathing.
With a seeking of assistance sought!
Hoping someone brings to them some attention.

Who knows?

A Catering Administered

Awaiting in a patient anticipation,
For a yesterday gone...
To make a prolonged reappearance,
Will at best...
Not soon occur.
But will expose those selfish and greedy,
Bigoted and disturbed.

A catering administered and purposely done,
Has spoiled the majority...
With beliefs their deceit,
Leaves them to be the 'special ones'.

Awaiting in a patient anticipation,
For a yesterday gone...
To make a prolonged reappearance,
Will at best...
Not soon occur.

Protesters lining up on streets to jeer,
For a numbing to continue...
Preventing truth to approach near.
And...
Politicians with false tongues,
Blaming conditions on recent elected ones.
With a hope no one notices,
Their pockets full...
From theft that has been legally consented,
Condoned to keep seats they've 'won'.

Awaiting in a patient anticipation,
For a yesterday gone...
To make a prolonged reappearance,
Will at best...
Not soon occur.
But will expose those selfish and greedy,
