Past The Adolescent Childish Age
Some refuse today to comprehend or face,
That they're...
Past the adolescent.
Past the adolescent.
Past the adolescent,
Childish age.
Some sit with wishes they could duplicate,
Those...
Adolescent.
Their adolescent days,
Long faded away.
They are,
Trapped and disconnected.
Trapped and disconnected.
Trapped and disconnected,
Broken from decay.
Some sit with wishes they could duplicate,
Their adolescent days.
But they're,
Past the adolescent.
Past the adolescent.
Past the adolescent,
Childish age.
And
They
Are...
Trapped and disconnected.
Trapped and disconnected.
Trapped and disconnected,
Broken from decay.

I think that is a universal adolescent feeling, trying to find your place. The adolescent who is perfectly adjusted to his environment, I've yet to meet.

An Erudite Book
www.com to my heart and,
www.com to an adolescent who speaks;
But your 'dressing-logy' buffers the negative of the adverse of life,
And like what is seen at www.com always.
Filtered water is what you care for,
But do not let this water run out dry before the adolescent;
Because an erudite book is in the making!
And like what is seen at www.com always.
'Dressing-logy'!
www.com to the heart of the adolescent;
And this addiction is very hard to overcome,
But love is like the theatre of my mind.
Try to deal with your history very honestly,
Because an erudite book is in the making;
And i am now standing in the shadow of your love.

Trapped Again
Here I am baby, right where you found me
Trying to break these chains that surround me
If I look a little different, its because Ive changed
Half-painted pictures are all that remains
I cant let my past mistakes
Let em bring me down
I aint waitin on no angel of mercy
Ive tried my best and I cant help myself
And Im trapped again
And I cant get out without losing you
And Im trapped again
Why cant you feel what Im going through
Im trapped again
I need an answer girl, cant you see
Im trapped again
Come and rescue me
Monday morning came so fast
What a fool to think that dreams would last
Close my eyes and its still so clear
Remember the night girl, the world disappeared
Cant let the hand of fate
Let it drag me down
I cant get no angel of mercy
I cam to stay but I got swept away
And Im trapped again
And I cant get out without losing you
And Im trapped again
Why cant you feel what Im going through
Im trapped again
I need an answer girl, cant you see
Im trapped again
Come and rescue me
Cant let the hand of fate
Let it drag me down
I cant get no angel of mercy
I cam to stay but I got swept away
And Im trapped again
And I cant get out without losing you
And Im trapped again
Why cant you feel what Im going through
Im trapped again
I need an answer girl, cant you see
Im trapped again
Come and rescue me
And Im trapped again
And I cant get out without losing you
And Im trapped again
Why cant you feel what Im going through
Im trapped again

Trapped Today, Trapped Tomorrow
The days are gone when the girls
Used to kiss his nose
To wake him up in the morning
He looks at his wife once she was young
But now shes older
Than himself and all that happend without warning
Trapped today, trapped tomorrow
Trapped in love, and trapped in sorrow
Sorry my train, wont stop at your station
Trapped today, trapped tomorrow
Trapped in love, and trapped in sorrow
Sorry my train, wont stop at your station
And no explanations
The days are gone when the boys
Used to bring her flowers every night
Just to please her
There was this man, now shes his wife.
Theyve got two kids
He works from 9 to 5
He put her in a freezer
Trapped today, trapped tomorrow...

Slave To Baseball
The weather is brave but a slave to baseball,
And I like that kind of weather for this
Time of year,
Because all the aspens are naked, opalescent
And free of the charms of most birds
And tourists-
I can see you there ghostly presumptive,
Making your free-form rounds;
And it is beautiful to think of you disconnected
From the corporeal sounds:
And I wake up more disjointed- the dogs
Have been howling all night,
And I suppose I dreamed of your high-school-
It’s my greatest, most tremulous sin-
Those dysfunctional adolescent currents still
Ripple in my head,
Searching for your illusive resins this way and
That between classes,
But in the here and now I develop new obtrusive
Scars and aren’t you well-situated,
Tucked in for the coming months- and Mike
Is here,
And soon I will be even further down selling
Christmas trees through those sultry paths,
Even further away- I can’t but doubt you could
Hardly remember or even begin to understand.

Disconnected
sometime i can see the world
by staring through your dark and misty eyes
i dont want to hear the words
or anything you know you cant deny
everytime i feel myself rejected
disconnected, from everything thats real
everybody needs to feel respected
not disconnected
only in my dreams i feel protected
this is reflected in all that I believe
everybody needs to feel respected
not disconnected
i dont want to hear the sound
of your wide world when it comes crashing down
i can only help you if you're sure
you want to keep me hangin' round
i will only hear the sound
of your wide world when it comes crashing down
i can only help you
if you're sure you want to keep me hangin' round
only in my dreams i feel protected
this is reflected in all that I believe
everybody needs to feel respected
not disconnected
everytime i feel myself rejected
disconnected, from everythings that real
everybody needs to feel respected
not disconnected
only in my dreams i feel protected
this is reflected in all that I believe

not disconnected
everytime i feel myself rejected
disconnected, from everythings that real
everybody needs to feel respected

Trapped
Well it seems like Im caught up in your trap again
And it seems like Ill be wearin the same ol chains
Good will conquer evil and the truth will set you free
Then I know someday Ill find the key
Then I know somewhere Ill find the key
Well it seem like Ive been playin the game way too long
And it seems the game I played has made you strong
Well when the game is over, I wont walk out a loser
And I know that Ill walk out of here again
And I know that someday Ill walk out of here again
But now Im trapped...oh yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah!
Now it seems like Ive been sleepin in your bed too long
And it seems like youve been meanin to do me harm
But Ill teach my eyes to see beyond these walls in front of me
And someday Ill walk out of here again
Yeah I know someday Ill walk out of here again
(chorus)
Well it seem like Ive been playin the game way too long
And it seems the game I played has made you strong
Because Im trapped...oh yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah!
Im trapped...oh yeah yeah!
Trapped...oh yeah yeah
Trapped...oh yeahhhhhh
Trapped....oh yeahhhh
Im trapped.
