Passing Through

Although my light has shown,
And continues to clear my path.
There are those who stand by watching,
Without a firm grasp on a task...
Or one cared enough to master.

And I hold onto my light so tight.
Even in the darkest of night,
It is in my sight and delivers...
A sight that builds my appetite,
To 'hear' the jeers and whispers!

I snack on that as motivation swells.
An act that attracts my vocation to excell.
And I wont stop to dwell on diminished insight.
Not as bright as I keep my light burning!

I don't mind passing through them.
To hear of recipes that screwed him...
Or her!
I just don't want them blocking my way!

Light.

Light me a light any kind of light,
Just shine its beam into my darkest night,
For like a child I stay up in fright,
So light me a light any light tonight.

Candlelight, moonlight any light is just right,
For in that light I might find my might!
Don’t sing me a song, don’t hold me tight,
Just light me a light, any light tonight.

Light me a light to assist my sight,
Just my naked eye darkness cannot fight,
So before darkness gets a chance to bite,

Flickering, glaring or outright bright,
I don’t care what kind just light me a light,

Magic Night

Magic Night

Magic, it's there in the night
Please bring magic, to the night

Hear my plea, oh hear my cry
Guide me through, the darkened sky

What distant planets, do they clasp
Who holds them, in a deadly grasp

And hold them, there beyond the sky
Far away from, our wailing sighs

Magic, Magic, in the night
Can your magic, make it right

Please hear my plea, oh hear my cry
Or at least, please tell us why

Magic, magic, in the night
Why would you leave us, with no light

Oh don't leave us, such a dreadful sight
Extend to us, your powerful might

Their light shines down, no need to fuss
The brightness, has returned for us

A Matter Of Perspective

Light reflections colour sunset, casting
enchanting shimmer shadows, night cap light.
Light darkling sprays now, now strays out of sight,
elusive dance advancing, fast contrasting,
leaves measured time behind, mocks tight forecasting.
Tints overprint imagination bright
as Nature's way of reaching through insight,
attracts within a vortex spin outlasting
leisure looks, taps latent springs, sees past's sting
engulfed in night-tide swing swirl, sings delight.
No frontiers stand between joy's tears, soul's flight,
and wonder as sight spans light - all surpassing.
Let life through stillness still more life gestate,

Brings hopes in the life, light
Travels with a greater might, light
Gives vision to many eyes, light

The light, the light, the light!
The energetic photons
so necessary for our sight
and everything we do.
The stars of night, the sun so bright

In a line of fire I stand and wait for you, I cant hold out for too long

Oh beautiful rainbow within my sight
As I gaze upon your graceful colors so bright,
I wonder whose dreams
