Heat Wave
Were having a heat wave,
A tropical heat wave,
The temperatures rising,
It isnt surprising,
She certainly can can-can.
She started a heat wave
By letting her seat wave
In such a way that
The customers say that
She certainly can can-can.
Gee, her anatomy
Makes the mercury
Jump to ninety-three.
Were having a heat wave,
A tropical heat wave,
The way that she moves
That thermometer proves
That she certainly can can-can.

Temperatures
When it 25 degrees celsius,
Many say it summer in some lands;
But the same is very cold to others in another land.
When it 40 degrees celsius,
Many enjoy the heat in Africa!
But many do die in other lands too;
Since it is too much for them to bear.
When it minus 50 degrees in Russia,
The poeple there enjoy it and have no problem;
But many of us on this earth will be frozen already!
Such is life and such are the temperatures,
But we are all made to stand one condition or the other.
The status-quo and the rule of nature,
With the style of to catch up at times;
But we all need the weather forcasts to guide us on.

Love & Heat
Heat has a strange affect on the human mind
Sensations are felt strongly and often undefined
It appears that temperatures are rising from within
To match the sweltering heat outside like a twin
It feels like a fever crawling slowly through veins
Spreading all over until no cool spot remains
Some people feel a rage when driving or agitation
But to me the heat feels like a welcome sedation
It appears as my senses are running in a low gear
And everything is fuzzy and I'm unsure and unclear
The heat surrounds me with a steaming outer shell
It paralyzes my reactions and invades every cell
When the humidity rises and temperatures are high
The wind feels like heat waves or a blazing drive-by
The hot breeze invades my pores and heats my heart
I can sense the blood pumping not needing a kick start
Running down my collarbone I feel a wet salty trail
And I am helpless against the reactions you prevail
In the heat of the day I like to come together real slow
Your touch silencing my thoughts and my mind I let go
When our bodies collide surrounded by vapor and steam
Making love in slow motion I perceive like a great dream
The ceiling fan cuts through thick layers of scorching heat
But our bodies are breathing together and are complete

Hot Days
The hot days are upon us.
Oh how I love the heat.
Cause I'm a darned, old, ornery cus,
Hot weather is a treat.
I love it when it's steamy,
And bodies are dripping sweat.
To me the heat is really dreamy,
The heat is nothing to dread.
The hotter the better,
I wish summer would last all year.
For any endeavor,
For hot weather there's beer.

Presto
Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson
If I could wave my magic wand...
I am made from the dust of the stars
And the oceans flow in my veins
Here I hide in the heart of the city
Like a stranger coming out of the rain
The evening plane rises up from the runway
Over constellations of light
I look down into a million houses
And wonder what youre doing tonight
If I could wave my magic wand
Id make everything all right
Im not one to believe in magic
But I sometimes have a second-sight
Im not one with a sense of proportion
When my heart still changes overnight
I had a dream of a winter garden
A midnight rendezvous
Silver, blue, and frozen silence
What a fool I was for you
I had a dream of the open water
I was swimming away out to sea
So deep I could never touch bottom
What a fool I used to be
If I could wave my magic wand
Id set everybody free
Im not one to believe in magic
Though my memory has a second-sight
Im not one to go pointing my finger
When I radiate more heat than light
Dont ask me
Im just improvising
My illusion of careless flight
Cant you see
My temperatures rising
I radiate more heat than light
Dont ask me
Im just sympathizing
My illusions a harmless flight
Cant you see
My temperatures rising
I radiate more heat than light

Temperatures Heat Up Slow
Temperatures heat up slow.
Some boil to explode.
Steaming to show outside...
What can no longer hide.
Temperatures heat up slow.
some refuse to let go!
Until it's hard to keep...
A heat that has been released.
It's difficult to find the time to explain it.
Words aren't there to say what's going on.
Some people make it their business,
To stir up arguments.
And leaving behind them created conflicts.
Temperatures heat up slow.
With a click.
Some boil to explode.
With many clicks.
Steaming to show outside...
Flying fists.
What can no longer hide,
Loud brawled rifts!
And it's hard to find time to explain this!
Or sit in calmness to cool rowdy rows.
Some folks will agitate this,
As if it's a gift.
To then give to others...
To glow in what has been bestowed.
To behold what is done,
That gets old.
And this has left many cold.
Some people make it their business,
To stir up these riffs.
And leaving behind them created conflicts.
With all conflicts growing old!
Much too old to bestow.

I am a leader. Leaders always get heat. They're always going against the grain. Jimi Hendrix got heat; Bob Marley got heat; Miles Davis got heat. Every great artist got heat. Heat means you're doing something right.

I Feel A Rising
What I say to you,
Seems to be big news...
In-the-neighborhood.
I didn't think it true.
You...
Whisper in ears too.
I...
Couldn't believe you would.
I...I...
Wouldn't believe you could.
I...I...
Couldn't believe you would.
I...I...
What I say to you,
Seems to be big news...
In-the-neighborhood.
I didn't think it true.
You...
Whisper in ears too.
Why?
Why?
You come and go as you please,
And say...
Not,
A word to me.
Why?
Why?
Why?
You've got my heart wrapped up,
In some kind of beating hold.
I can't from you let go!
Why?
Why?
Why?
Why I let you torcher me...
Emotionally?
Why?
Why do I feel you needing?
Why is your heat so close to me?
You've got my heart wrapped up,
In some kind of beating hold.
I can't from you let go!
Why do I feel you needing?
Why is your heat so close to me?
What I say to you,
Seems to be big news...
In-the-neighborhood.
I didn't think it true.
You...
Whisper in ears too.
Why is that heat I feel on me...
Feel so good.
Why does that heat on me...
Feel good.
What is that heat?
Why is that heat I feel on me...
Feel so good.
Why does that heat on me...
Feel good.
What is that heat?
What we do,
Seems to be big news.
In,
The neigborhood.
Why is that heat I feel on me...
Feel so good.
Why does that heat on me...
Feel good.
What is that heat?
I feel a rising hypnotized...
By your heat.
Yes...
By
Your
Heat.
Yes...
I feel a rising,
By your heat.
I feel a rising.

Extremes, though contrary, have the like effects. Extreme heat kills, and so extreme cold: extreme love breeds satiety, and so extreme hatred; and too violent rigor tempts chastity, as does too much license.

Burning Heat
Burning in my heart- burning in my soul
Gotta have it more and more- hot and overloaded
Starving for some fun tonight- always dressed to kill
Dont tell me what I need- I need the thrill indeed
Dont stop me now
Ill run you over- bastard
Get out of my way
I feel mighty great
Burning heat- gets me- burning heat
Burning heat- breaks me- burning heat
Cant you see it coming- stronger than a bull
Get yourself going- youre too easy to beat
Dont forget Im strong- powerful and straight
I can take you on cause I am hard to break
Dont stop me now
Ill run you over- bastard
Get out of my way
I feel mighty great
Burning heat- gets me- burning heat
Burning heat- breaks me- burning heat
Burning heat- gets me- burning heat
Burning heat- breaks me- burning heat
Burning heat- leads me- burning heat
Burning heat- feeds me- burning heat
Burning in my heart- burning in my soul
Gotta have it more and more- hot and overloaded
Burning heat- gets me- burning heat
Burning heat- breaks me- burning heat
Burning heat- leads me- burning heat
Burning heat- feeds me- burning heat

Hot! Like a Heat Hot Drops
Hot!
Like a heat hot.
These past few days,
In the first week of July 2010...
With humidity high.
Sweltering the air and wetting the skin.
Not a part of the body remains dry outside.
And usually it is the month of August,
That simmers in New England...
With an egg on rocks to fry.
Hot!
Like a heat hot drops,
Moisture undenied.
Cooling to dry has to be done inside.
Unless one is among the unfortunate.
With a crying done that goes undetected.
Since tears from the eyes go unrecognized.
Hot!
Like a heat hot,
Drops.
As temperatures soar.
Dripping a salty sweat from every known pore.

It Is So Warm For Early In December
It is so warm for early in December the birds are panting and scarce a puff of breeze
And the tar is boiling on the sunlit roadway in temperatures of over thirty degrees
How come it's so warm this early on in Summer? we hear the scientists talk of the ozone hole
If this be true we have influenced the weather and the temperatures not beyond our control.
Some scientists claim it's due to man's pollution that we experience the weather extremes
The water now is down to a slow trickle in the polluted rivers, creeks and streams
Three weeks ago the low lying paddocks flooded the changes a few warm weeks can bring
And the farmers they are praying for rain already although we've had big rainfalls through the Spring
Each year the Summer temperatures keep rising and the warm weather goes into late Fall
And despite the first week of heavy rains the weather bureau
claim it's been the warmest November of them all
'Twould seem the coastal towns will do well for Christmas and traffic jams on the highway to the sea
And New Year's day will find them by the ocean the working man and his wife and family.
It is so warm for early in December and Summer days have only just begun
And people already wearing their sun hats and sun screens to keep away the cruel rays of the sun
And some scientists claim that the extremes of weather is or was never beyond our control
And that modern man who creates much pollution is responsible for the big ozone hole.

Heat Of Summer, Heated Love.
Summer's heat can swelter and melt...
As summer's heat may simmer as weld.
Some summer's heat can burn as long...
This summer's heat can impel a song.
Summer's heat can cook and bake...
Summer's heat of life can take.
Boil and broil a heart so hot...
A summer's heat can break that romanceful knot.
This heat of summer can smoulder and rot.
Anger's heat, heats up my libido's furnace...
This love of summer can invoke to heart, a loving furnish.
Love of summer brings to mind, a resurgance of love...
Summer's sun may bathe one and all with heat fro' above.
Summer's heat can bring to beaches and swimming pools...
Visions of women in bikinied thongs, these things my eyes do love.

We can also cut by heat - heat punch. And we also can cut by cold - extreme cold. When you cut with heat, it makes a mark. With cold, no mark. It depends on the fabric.

Unusual Heat
My mind tells me, what will be, shall be
Not a thing I can do about it
cause in my heart I cant do without it
Its so cold out here, like minus ten degrees
And Im trying to get through to you
Ive got my heart on ice, and its about to freeze
Only you, can pull me through
cause I want some of your unusual heat
I need more and more, unusual heat
My body tells me, hold on, I gotta hold on
But Im so cold and hungry
All stretched out like a month of sundays
Ive been out of my head, from that very first day
Searching for somebody like you
Ive been stumblin around, every step of the way
And only you can pull me through
cause I want some of your unusual heat
And I need more and more, unusual heat
I need it every way, every minute of the day
Baby Im yours,Ill do anything you say
If you just give me some of your warm unusual heat
Its so cold out here, Im about to freeze
And Im still trying to get through to you
Ive got my heart on ice, oh baby please, please, please
Only you, can pull me through
Cause I want some of your unusual heat
And I need more and more, unusual heat
I need it every way, every minute of the day
Baby Im yours,Ill do anything you say
If you just give me some of your warm
Baby wont you keep me warm, with your unusual heat...

Sonnet XII....
Give in to the heat
Or simply
Give in to me.....
I have the same damn seasonal weather.....
low cold low heat
or high cold and freezing heat
All are the same
state
.....
cause....i am plasma... a mix of the universe consciousness and a percentage of organic minerals left over of a start dust.
But,
you.....in contrast,
are.....a simple
chemistry.....
a simple nature,
a simple world,
a simple metaphor.

From Death
The great heat of a man in the holes where they perish
Is the world for him, when hot dealings from death.
A man shall cry from the heat when in the deepest ways,
The depths speak loudly of heat and arisings from death.
One murderer is not like a foolish man but the worst,
The heat of the sun can not master his bearings from death.
A grave has become attached to his soul, accepted by him,
And then fright shall be accepted from an angel of the buildings of death.
Then all of humanity congratulates the life of the good standard,
When the Lord spoke loudly of us who are doers of blessings from death.
The reality has been announced by the deepest parts of the Hereafter,
Life and annihilation are opposites, the real dead shall have briefings from death.
Open the gates of this Paradise, where honey has been sold
In rivers, milk has flowed out clearly with coatings from the Death.

I do not find the supposed scientific consensus among my colleagues. Curiously, it is a feature of man-made global warming that every fact confirms it: rising temperatures or decreasing temperatures. No matter what the weather, some model of global warming offers a watertight explanation.
