Outside Enclosed Fences

It takes curiosity,
To break free from restricting limits.
It takes a willingness to investigate,
One's difference continually mentioned.
With a hunger to comprehend,
Why are those programmed with mindsets...
Affixed to conditions and quick to defend them

When many are observed to be accepting,
Of rituals affecting them but making less sense.
And those addicted to this environment,
Become offended by the ones...
With experiences outside enclosed fences.
More obvious it is...
Are these acts of self-defeat fed to feed to addict.

ASKED To Be 'Disrespected

Have you ever been ASKED,
To be 'disrespected'?
Then given a look of disbelief,
When the request has been rejected?

If you have...
You know where this is most likely to happen.
And If you haven't...
There is a place like this that exists.
Wherein people aware of this,
Pray consistently as if addicted in need of a fix.

Exaggerating?
You are welcomed to pay a visit.
Within twenty four hours,
What has been discussed becomes quite obvious.
And this mindlessness that is part of the environment...
Is totally an accepting mindset easily offended if mentioned.

Try to bring this ignorance to anyone's attention.
And watch closely to their reaction.

Addiction

I have an addiction
that eats away at me
sadly there is no medical cure
for the habit that I have.
I have to feed its hunger everyday,
I tried to go cold turkey
and almost succeeded once
and stopped for almost seven years,
but its hunger kept breaking through.
Finally, I got to grips with myself
and said enough is enough
I am going to let my addiction go.
It was not that easy to break free
of something you have had
for almost half a century.
I had to try I said to myself
before it takes over my life itself.
Just as I was about to put
the last nail in its coffin
it escaped and got free.
Free to enslave me once again
to do its bidding.
I have given up now
to its craving of paper and pen
and to do its dance again and again.
What am I addicted too?
If by now you have not guessed,
my addiction must be pretty weak
as I am addicted to writing
at least one thing everyday.

Expressing Their Discontent

Those who befriend others,
By expressing their discontent...
Of what takes place in a shared environment,
Need to be distanced...
From that kind of negativity mentioned.

Being caught up in another's bitterness,
To add to one's priority list...
Does not do anything to rid one from it.
And when others are participating...
More minds get stuck in accepting of this.

Those who befriend others,
By expressing their discontent...
Of what takes place in a shared environment,
Need to be distanced...
From that kind of negativity mentioned.

And there is nothing like an experience,
That teaches one what to accept...
And what from one should be resisted.

Albert Einstein

All our thoughts and concepts are called up by sense-experiences and have a meaning only in reference to these sense-experiences. On the other hand, however, they are products of the spontaneous activity of our minds they are thus in no wise logical consequences of the contents of these sense-experiences. If, therefore, we wish to grasp the essence of a complex of abstract notions we must for the one part investigate the mutual relationships between the concepts and the assertions made about them for the other, we must investigate how they are related to the experiences.

An Exchanging Of Footsteps

Could it still be a possibility,
That one's life lived exclusively...
Running away from responsibility,
Can learn after many years spent...
Ignoring the benefits obtained,
In acquiring skills in arithmetic.
Or the process it takes to comprehend,
What has been read to broaden a limitation...
Accepted in one's head instead,
To begin to attach those pieces that fit.
And they eventually could sit patiently,
With a doing of this?

Let us not be quick,
To lift with a raising up of our right eyebrows!

Many dismissing the discipline it takes,
To quietly absorb a practice in listening...
Actually wait until it's too late,
To find someone desiring to teach an adult...
To undo those childish stunts in a mind done.
Even children in their fifties can learn!

Let us not be quick,
To lift with a raising up of our right eyebrows!

A willingness to waste another's time,
Is okay.
Until it has become decided,
Someone's seriousness is ready to be displayed.
And...
Is reason enough to give away,
Those experiences acquired by someone else.
And we all can participate in the joys of life.

Let us not be quick,
To lift with a raising up of our right eyebrows!

There are people all over the place,
Willing to sacrifice their time, minds and efforts...
With their experiences suffered alone to condone,
In an exchanging of footsteps!
All it takes...
Is just for 'one' of us to let this be known.

Let us not be quick,
To lift with a raising up of our right eyebrows!
Let us, you and me...and Mother Love,
Just for a few moments abandon realities!
And...
Use our minds to perceive of this,
Idealistically.

'Yep!
Didn't I tell you?
They were doing much more,
Than the changing of test scores...
In the teacher's lounge.'

With Words To Express, Define Or Explain

Smothered under thick layers of lies!
Suppressed by deceptions,
That keeps them self obsessed...
To excuse with alibis.
And no longer accepting the affects of self examination.
With cleared and open wider eyes.
They are first taught to assume positions,
Of being the center of the Universe.
Although from where they sit on Earth,
No one knows where up or down is.
Or if they are witnessing the left or right of it.

They learn to judge,
From lessons learned from birth first...
That whatever else exists,
From delusions quick to depict themselves...
Flawless.
There is a need to believe this ridiculousness,
Regardless of reality...
They wish with attempts to reverse.
And to curse those who are conscious...
With broadening observations,
Sought to seek and within them thirst.

With restricting limits,
Many self righteous think of others immediately...
By values and standards crumbling beneath their feet.
But yet refuse to see their own self imposing defeat,
From a medicating on maintaining minds addicted to fantasies.
And denying the existence of truth,
There to reduce their increasing agonies enforced and produced.
No matter how overwhelming the evidence,
Of a need for them to awaken from a maddening ignorance.
They've become too addicted to free and release to leave behind.

And unfortunate for them are these times we live,
That are completely out of their control...
Unfolding!
For all to behold with nothing left to be said,
With words to express, define or explain.

Girlfriend Is Better

I . . . who took the money?
Who took the money away?
I . . . its always showtime
Here at the edge of the stage
I, i, i, wake up and wonder
What was the place, what was the name?
We wanna wait, but here we go again...
I . . . takes over slowly
But doesnt last very long
I . . . no need to worry
Evrythings under control
O - u - t but no hard feelings
What do you know? take you away
Were being taken for a ride again
I got a girlfriend thats better than that
She has the smoke in her eyes
Shes moving up, going right through my house
Shes ginna give me surprise
Better than this, know that its right
I think you can if you like
I git a girlfriend with bows in her hair
And nothing is better than that
Down, down in the basement
We hear the sound of machines
I, i, Im driving in circles
Come to my senses sometimes
Why, why, why, why start it over?
Nothing was lost, everthings free
I dont care how impossible it seems
Somebody calls you but you cannot hear
Get closer to be far away
Only one look and thats all that we need
Maybe thats all that it takes
All that it takes, all that it takes
All that it takes, all that it takes
I got a girlfriend thats betther than that
And she goes wherever she likes. (there she goes...)
I got a girlfriend thats better than that
Now everyones getting involved
Shes moving up going right through my heart
We might not ever get caught
Going right through (try to stay cool) going through, staying cool
I got a girlfriend thats better than that
And nothing is better than you
I got a girlfriend thats better that this
And you dont remember at all
As we get older and stop making sense
You wont find her waiting long
Stop making sense, stop making sense...stop making sense, making sense
I got a girlfriend thats better than that
And nothing is better that this
( is it? )

Sitting Upon Fences

There is something being presented
That clearly separates from the truth.
It doesn't have to be spoken.
It is observed and felt.

Something is disconnecting.
And it is okay that it leaves and goes away.

It conflicts with higher consciousness.
And those on the threshold of it,
See and feel the difference...
Between reality and pretense.

And those who are deluded...
Are observed living lives,
Absolutely making very little sense.

And yet they believe they hide their intentions...
By keeping themselves exposed,
While sitting upon fences imposing their denseness

Sick Places

Affixed to plantation mindsets,
Obvious dysfunctions...
Are not that obvious to them.
And they battle one another,
To gain the master's trust.

Still depicted by stereotypes,
This life kept in mental bondage...
Feeds appetites of despair,
The suppressors like to enforce upon them.
And everyone seems to enjoy their sick places.

Unified By Their Nonsense Making

When people become offended,
By someone expressing an identity...
There is an acceptance of an unconsciousness,
That has become collectively defended,
By overwhelming ignorance.

And no one has to go to a mall,
To shop for the proof of the evidence.

A blindness is preferred by those following,
As if addicted sheep...
Down a road where the process of thinking,
Independently or not...
Is regarded as a threat to those easily upset,
By those they overhear communicating...
With a maturity expressed.
And not a sign of an argument building up,
Between them addressed with...
The spewing of cuss words heard.

This is a dangerous environment,
For anyone with intelligence to live in!
People with intelligence are suspicious,
Of making attempts to be 'better'...
Than everyone else.
Especially those,
Who prefer to live their lives...
Down to Earth and as foolishly as possible.

When people become offended,
By someone expressing an identity...
As a choice of one attempting to think,
With common sense...
Is not a recommendation,
For anyone choosing to separate themselves...
With a maturity,
From this kind of accepted behavior...
Chosen by those unified by their nonsense making,
And faithfully tied to rituals...
They neither understand nor respect with depth.

'If it was good enough for my mama and her mama...
And those 'mamas' known before that,
Well...
It is good enough for me!
And I will take that with two hamhocks,
Yams dripping with butter and gravy smothered chops.'

Crazed Are Some Programmed Mindsets

Giving of myself, talents and time,
Use to be an easy thing for me to do.
I didn't mind it.
I found in doing so it was enjoyed.
Until I discovered my efforts being taken for granted.
And I stopped feeling grateful to give my stuff away.
'Assuming' what I had done was appreciated.

Crazed are some programmed mindsets.

I then began to notice people,
Believing to be doing me the favor...
To share in the wasting of my time!
Thinking of me to be perceive as selfish.
And 'if' I had not given my best,
They wouldn't have known me at all.

Crazed are some programmed mindsets.

Today as I come to think about this,
I give them less of my best.
And of me it is thought I seek their attention.
That's how people into themselves think.
Until they are shown,
Doors that have been permanently closed.
And ignored are those with turned up noses.

Crazed are some programmed mindsets.
And their lack of consciousness!

One Day A Dawning Will Come

Is there a limit you will not go beyond,
In regards to offending others?

'Look around you.
Show me just 'one' person that is appalled,
By what they hear or see.

There has been absolutely nothing,
I have ever said that did not represent...
What was observed.'

Then why do you think people become offended,
When the obvious is mentioned?

'Have you heard of 'them' and 'they' before?
Those are the ones always blamed.
Facing the facts,
Has not been introduced to their life experience yet.
You can see a cloudy cover still over their eyes.
One day a dawning will come and they will brighten.

From The Beginning...To The End

From the beginning...
We all feed on those perceptions fed.
To feel an acceptance...
Of a normality taught,
That is compared.
And when those comparisons begin to conflict,
Some with nagging curiosities begin to investigate...
The validity of those perceptions that restrict.

Some settle for those teachings taught to them.
While others elect to peer over fences...
To view the doings of their neighbors.
And begin to confide in the opinions,
Of those who become trusted and loyal friends

It seems beyond the boundaries of families,
Or those we accept before adventuring...
Outside of those limits set.
An expansion of our minds happens.
And this broadens with a widened consciousness.
Only to offend those with beliefs they wish kept protected.
To keep closed in and unbending they defend....
To the end!

When Youve Got What It Takes

When youve got what it takes
Youve got nothing to hide
Youve got miles of feelings
And acres of pride
Youve got it
Youve really got it
When you know who you are
Then you live what you feel
You give what you can
And its good when youve really got it
And when youve got it
(*) let it out
Let it show
Letem know
Inside youve got it
Let it shine like a fine tomorrow
For when you do
The feeling comes back to you
What a difference it makes
When youve got what it takes
What a difference it makes
When youve got it
When youre sure of your heart
Then you give it away
And love is a promise
You keep every day
You know it
And when you know it
You begin to believe
Youll do more than survive
That the best part of being is being alive
You feel it
And when you feel it
Repeat (*)
When a difference it makes
When youve got what it takes
What a difference it makes
When youve got it
When a difference it makes
When youve got what it takes
What a difference it makes
When youve got it everyday

Feed the Need In Me

Bleeding...
Desire!
I wish to satisfy...
A smoldering tempered fire,
Inside of me.

Hungered from the pain,
Sustaining that remains,
To feed!
And wishes quick release.
That leaves me wanting...
With urges to feed,
This need in me!
And I am haunted!
With wants to be set free...
And emptied!

Feed...
The need in me!
Whenever I'm overcomed,
I'm wishing more than some.
And I am needing...
To be free,
Of a bleeding need...
To feed and breathe!

Feed...
The need in me.
I wish to satisfy...
This hunger here inside!

Feed...
The need in me.
Wanting to be free,
To explore my destiny.

Feed...
The need in me.
I wish to satisfy...
This hunger denied,
In me!

Bleeding...
Desire!
I wish to satisfy...
A smoldering tempered fire,
Inside of me.

I want and wish,
A happiness complete...
And free of bleeding need!

Surrounded By Calm and Clear Seas

Hypocrisy has got to be the center,
Of their beliefs.
Racial profiling is done.
Anyone who has been victimized,
Know it is common.
Racism exists.
What 'is' and 'is not' legal...
Is based upon preference.
Values and mentioned 'standards'
Are permitted by those,
With mindsets limited.

Confused are the people,
Who say 'aliens and immigrants'...
Invade upon their selected diversity!
Even though their activities...
Isolates them further,
In a feeding that deceives.

Despise they do with a bigotry.
Accusing 'that one' them and they...
As those who have depleted their sense of quality.
And yet...
Some folks perceive this planet Earth,
Belonging to them exclusively.
With a taking away from others,
To do exactly what they please.

Whether that is done upon these shores...
Or on remote inhabited islands,
In the middle of oceans.
Or accepting the hospitality...
Of unsuspecting natives,
Performing spiritual rituals.
And living peacefully...
Surrounded by calm and clear seas.

'We are behind with unconscious minds.'

~Well...
At least part of your comment is correct!
We 'are' behinds.~

Thats What It Takes

And now it begins to shine
And you found the eyes to see
Each little drop at dawn of evry day
Your smile, it comes back to me
And whatever you may say
Dont let it stop, never fade away
As we got to get out in this world together, oh
Doesnt really matter if we start to make some changes, oh
If thats what it takes (thats what it takes)
Then Ive got to be strong (thats what it takes)
Dont want to be wrong
If thats what it takes
The closer I get (thats what it takes)
Into that open door (what it takes)
Ive got to be sure
If thats what it takes
And now that its shining through
And you can see all this world
Dont let it stop, never fade away
If we got to be in this life forever, oh-oh
Then wed better be taking all the chances, oh oh
If thats what it takes (thats what it takes)
Then Ive got to be strong (thats what it takes)
Dont want to be wrong
If thats what it takes
The closer I get (thats what it takes)
Into that open door (what it takes)

Dont Break This Rhythm

Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
All this momentum keeps stealing through
Across the cornfields, through all the marshland
Theres nothing gonna stop this thing
Clear the trees, burn the brushwood
Bring the diggers in, Im gonna move this earth
Lay the big stones, put down the sleepers
Haul the steel in, I will beat this land
Dont care how but, Im coming through here
Whatever it takes, oh
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
We work together in sympathy
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
We work together in sympathy
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
We work together in sympathy
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
We work together in sympathy
Right through these fences, cut through the stone walls
Dig out the tunnels from a solid stone
There she is, but so surrounded
All those fancy men with soft white hands
Come all this distance, that should be me there
Whatever it takes (whatever it takes), oh
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
We work together in sympathy
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion
We work together in sympathy
Dont break this rhythm, dont break this motion

If Thats What It Takes

I played the part of a broken heart upon a show
I played that part so lonely and so well
Thought that love belonged to someone else, not me and you
Yeah, I know that youve been shattered
You been bruised
We both know what it feels like when you lose
But Id bet my life on a roll of the dice for you
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
Tonites the night, Im gonna prove it to you
Do I have to break down, baby just to break through
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
If thats what it takes...
I bet you counted all the tears I bet youve cried
I bet you swore youd never let love back inside
cause it hurt youway too bad to say good-bye
Now, therell be times when I might put us to the test
And its hard for broken hearts to just forget
But Im driving blind, Ill lay it all on the line for you
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
Tonites the night, Im gonna prove it to you
Do I have to break down, baby just to break through
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
If thats what it takes...
So, when you feel like jumping
Just when your heart starts pumping
When youre stading out on that ledge-staring over the edge
Ill be there to talk to you down
Ill be there before you hit the ground
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
Tonites the night, Im gonna prove it to you
Do I have to break down, baby just to break through
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
If thats what it takes...
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
If we take the time to do it right, I know well put through
If it took all my life, Id prove it to you
If thats what it takes, thats what Id do
