Once Its Value Has Been Absorbed
The meaning of each season,
Soon gives up its influence
To drift away,
Once its value has been absorbed.
Like a fad.
Or one who relinquishes,
A hold onto youth.
That passes fast.
There are those who would love to,
Keep things preserved.
Even if it means.
Squeezing the life out of it.

Short
The depth of life
The length thereof
The depth of a life
The years thereof
The depth of your life
The distance from your first wisp of
Earth's worried air of
Life to the finish line of
A life well lived or of
One which was spent waiting for
The future which may or may not
Hold you in it for
Today is given you to
Make all the difference you can and to
Smell all the flowers you can and to
Love as deeply as you can and to
Let laughter break some ribs and to
Let rain drown your tears and to
Give yourself away and to
Worship as truly as you can and to
Leave your worries in yesterday then
Do the things fear won't let you do then
Say the things that matter most then
Do the things you haven't done then
Do the things you have to do and then
Give a life a meaning
Find life's meaning
Hidden in love's meaning
And your life meaning
Breathing in God's meaning
And pick up a book of meanings
To check the short meaning
Of short and find that that's the
Aching distance from the
First intake of air to the
Last release of the same.

Youthfulness vital
Seek company of younger ones.
Work with the other sex and flirt.
Cultivate likes for music and art.
Keep alive lust and passion.
Your mind of youth is preserved.
Be appearance conscious.
Do yoga to keep you supple.
Diet on balanced plant food.
Indulge in love act in continuity.
Your corporal youth is preserved.
Youthfulness to life is
Like nectar to a flower.

Dream
Nothing comes during a sleep above a dream,
You better wake up and face reality,
You never get ahead just laying around in bed,
What you can see you really can achieve.
Dream means a sleepless fulfillment though I wonder why,
You wake up out of the darkness and let life begin,
Oh dream means a sleepless fulfillment oh I wonder when,
Wake up out of the darkness and let life begin.
Some people are living only on hopes and dreams,
But youve got to wake up to the plans and scenes,
The journey of life is only one step ahead,
But you never get there tossing and turning in bed,
Youre facing the world with no plans for tomorrow,
And now youre wondering whats waiting around the bend.
Dream means a sleepless fulfillment unless you try,
Sleepers, they hold on t dreams while the world passes by,
Dream means a sleepless fulfillment (though) unless you try,
Sleepers, they hold on to dreams while the world passes by.
Dream means a sleepless fulfillment though I wonder why,
Sleepers hold on to dreams while the world passes by, one more time,
Dreams a sleepless fulfillment though unless you try,
Sleepers hold on to dreams.....

Hold On
(written by natalie cole, marvin yancy and kevin yancy)
You know, of all the things in the world Id miss
It would probably be music and love
They say you dont know what youve got til its gone
Thats so true
Even though we still take it for granted
And I used to be like that but not anymore
cause I found out what love really means
Love means happiness and dedication
Love will sometimes bring complications
But you must have faith and a whole lot of trust
Most of all you can never give up just
(hold on, hold on)
Hold on to your good thing, yeah
(hold on, hold on) forget about the small things
(hold on, hold on) do it for love, do it for love
And remember that love is a feeling
But its also an action, yes
Youve got to give sometime
If you want to get back some, well
And when all the kings horses
And even all the kings men
Cant put it together again
That is exactly when youve got to
(hold on, hold on) hold on to what youve got
(hold on, hold on)
Its the little things that mean alot
(hold on, hold on) do it for love, do it for love
In spite of everything, no matter what
Youve got to h-o-l-d on (you gotta hold on)
Hold on, hmm, hmm, hmm, ooh, oh, oh
Youre so hard headed
cause you feel that youre right
Well, tell me how you gonna feel
In the middle of the night
All alone, all alone
I know, I know
It doesnt matter whos right or wrong
If you feel so inclined
To blame that shame on someone else
Ooh, stop and think about it
Point the finger at yourself
Ooh, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo
Hold on to your good thing (hold on)
Forget about the small (hold on) things
(hold on) and hold on
Hold on, oh hold on (hold on)
Real tight in spite of everything
Hold on (hold on)
When you feel like walking out that door

Dont Let Go
Another long day, another long night
I try to make it home before it gets light
Im working hard so some day we can play
When I try to explain you just push me away
Dont push me away, you say
I dont spend enough time with you
Or take an interest in things you do
We call it quits almost every other day
And the rare times were going strong
We let our pride get in the way
Seems like its always in the way
But dont let go, dont let our love go
Dont let go, just let our love grow
Sometimes we might drift away, dont let our love go
But dont let go of our love when it feels right
This kinda life can put us both to the test
But its not a question of who knows best
Our loves a ship that has its sails a little torn
All we need to do is sew em up
And we can weather the storm
Gonna ride that storm
So dont let go, dont let our love go
Dont let go, just let our love grow
Sometimes we might drift away, dont let our love go
But dont let go
No, no, dont let go, dont let our love go
Dont let go, just let our love grow
Sometimes we might drift away, dont let our love go
Dont let go of our love when it feels right
I dont see you for days
When you leave me in the dark
My imagination runs away
Just throw me a line
And Ill still hold on
Ill still hold on
Ill still hold on
And I wont let go
Dont let go, dont let our love go
Baby dont let go, just let our love grow
Oh, no, dont let our love fade away
And dont let go of our love when it feels right, oh no
Dont let our love go
Dont let go
Just let our love grow
Sometimes we might slip away
Dont let our love go
But dont let go of our love when it feels right

Hold My Heart
Do you believe in love at first sight
I know it is true now 'cause it happened that
night
But now you slip away
Don't believe me when I say
When you hold my hand you hold my heart
But lately we still drift apart
When I say I love you I mean it
When I say I love you I mean it
I mean it
Do you believe that we're meant to be
I know it's true now but you just don't see
'Cause now, you get scared
Don't believe me, but it's there
When you hold my hand you hold my heart
But lately we still drift apart
When I say I love you I mean it
When I say I love you I mean it
I mean it
Please believe me when I say
I'll love you till the end
Forever and a day
When you hold my hand you hold my heart
But lately we still drift apart
When I say I love you I mean it
When I say I love you I mean it
I mean it
I mean it

Under The Influence
Written: paul politi and barry white
Floating on a cloud
Feeling high
It happens every time
Whenever Im with my guy
Tripping on love
And it feels so good
I cant help myself
And I wouldnt if I could
'cause hes got that certain touch
That Im addicted to
Loves really got a hold on me
And theres nothing I can do
Oh im, Im under the influence of love
And I know theres no doubt about it
Im under the influence of love
And I know I cant live without it
Moving over close
Cant get enough
Ive just got to have all of my babys love
And when Im alone
Feeling sad and blue
He gives me a shot of love
And Im as good as new
Helpless as I am
As if I dont care
His tenderness is what I miss
Whenever hes not here
Oh im, Im under the influence of love
And I know theres no doubt about it
Im under the influence of love
And I know I cant live without it
There just aint no one else
Who can bring out the love in me
So many guys have tried
They tried to capture my eye
But hes the only one I see
Oh, Im Im under the influence of love
And I know theres no doubt about it
Im under the influence of love
And I know I cant live without it
(repeat to fade)

How small a portion of our life it is that we really enjoy! In youth we are looking forward to things that are to come; in old age we are looking backward to things that are gone past; in manhood, although we appear indeed to be more occupied in things that are present, yet even that is too often absorbed in vague determinations to be vastly happy on some future day when we have time.

Hold Fast To The Right
Come and sit by the side of your mother my boy
You have only a moment I know
And stay while I give you this parting advice
It is all that I have to bestow
Hold fast to the right hold fast to the right
Wherever your footsteps may roam
Oh for sake not the the way of salvation my boy
That you've learned from your mother at home
In your satchel you'll find there's a Bible my boy
It's the book of all others the best
It will teach you to live and prepare you to die
And will take to the gates of the blest
Hold fast to the right hold fast to the right...

Songs from The Beggar’s Opera: Air IV-Cotillion
Act II, Scene iv, Air IV—Cotillion
Youth’s the season made for joys,
Love is then our duty:
She alone who that employs,
Well deserves her beauty.
Let’s be gay
While we may,
Beauty’s a flower despised in decay.
Chorus. Youth’s the season, etc.
Let us drink and sport to-day,
Ours is not to-morrow:
Love with youth flies swift away,
Age is naught but sorrow.
Dance and sing,
Time’s on the wing,
Life never knows the return the spring.
Chorus. Let us drink, etc.
Hold My Heart (acoustic)
Do You Believe In Love At First Sight
I Know It's True Now, 'Cause It Happened that Night
But Now, You Slip Away
Don't Believe Me, When I Say
When You Hold My Hand, You Hold My Heart
But Lately, We Still Drift Apart
When I Say I Love You, I Mean It
When I Say I Love You, I Mean It
I Mean It
Do You Believe That We're ment To Be
I Know It's True Now, But You Just Don't See
'Cause Now, You Get Scared
Don't Believe Me, But It's There
When You Hold My Hand, You Hold My Heart
But Lately, We Still Drift Apart
When I Say I Love You, I Mean It
When I Say I Love You, I Mean It
I Mean It
Please Believe Me,
When I Say
I'll Love You 'Til The End
Forever And A Day
When You Hold My Hand, You Hold My Heart
But Lately, We Still Drift Apart
When I Say I Love You, I Mean It
When I Say I Love You, I Mean It
I Mean It
I Mean It

Question Meaning
The meaning of the question
Is to always question meaning,
The meaning of life,
And the life of meaning.
The life unquestioned
Means very little,
Just as a life left meaningless,
Without question, has very little life.
Therefore, we all should daily question
The meaning of life,
By doing so, life's Meaning
Will unquestionably, each day, find us.
Remember: we are free to question meaning;
May we become free enough to
Let it freely question us.

Hidden Meaning
To death do us part
Does that mean death of the heart
Or growing old in age
That might be like being trapped for all your days
There are too many ways to look at this-but not enough time to comprehend
What this means, and where its meaning ends
Im not sure how to say it
But I’m sure you’ll understand-that it means love and life will exist to the end
Not necessarily together-no not at all
Love grows old and fades away
But some things are here to stay
Love them for all your time, and don’t forget what love was mine
To death do us part; the irony so discreet
And some of us, that irony will meet
When it happens then you’ll know
Why love and death are not one
So death do us part,
What do you say
Is your meaning for now and today
Or will it be for along the way
Until then, I will try
And even see what I can find
Death do us part, I’ll figure you out
And when I do, I’ll find that route
The path between death and love
And see if it intertwines
If it doesn’t then I’ll know
That life and love were meant to grow
To flourish in the great divine
Of course...that love wont be mine

When Someone Comes Into Your Life
When someone comes into your life
Take a chance, my love
Forget all the pain thats inside
Open up your heart
Youll forget as shes touching
Your face that I once held you
In my embrace
It might even feel right when you
Kiss her goodnight and not me
If someone should hold down her hand
Make her yours, my love
Dont know how long it may last,
Oh, how fast love goes
Youll forget me one day, dont you know
But your memories Ill never let go
I will love you the same as I did that
First day I found you
When someone comes into your life
Never close the door
What youre looking for
Might be in your arms at last
Dont run away
When someone comes into your life
Hold fast
When someone looks into your eyes
Dont refuse their love
You cant live the rest of your life
With a broken heart
Youll forget me one day, dont you know
But your memories Ill never let go
And when love comes to stay
I hope she loves you the way
I love you
When someone comes into your life
Never close the door
What youre looking for
Might be in your arms at last
Dont run away
When someone comes into your life
If someone comes into your life
When someone comes into your life
Hold fast, hold fast

Hold you
All the things that I told you
All the things that I never mentioned
All the things that I told you twice
Give me something to turn to
Like an answer that has no question
Give me something that I can't fight
I don't want to hold you
I don't want to hold you down
I don't want to hold you down
I will always adore you
As the line with no intersection
Never knows what it means to cry
Chase the wind and she'll steal you
Trap the heart and you'll never get it
These are things that I've learned from life
I don't want to hold you...

Life's Race
All want, the best things of Time
Burn ourself and always whine
Regret & lament, nothings good enough
Life was hard and too much tough
Magnify the context, Content unknown
Left the meaning of life Alone
Our much is little, more is less
Wants are the Needs, We always Press
Such higher and Intelligent Beings
Who take Life as End, not just Means
Purpose was Happiness, finding Glee
Accessed by some who were free
Rest ran Fast and Won their Race
But Lost to Life, when matched Pace.

Hey Ram!
Now it is ‘use and throw’ culture
And there is huge difference from the days of our Grandfather
Who owned wire-rimmed glasses and pen
Which could be proudly preserved till generations.
Things made today in our land
Doesn’t last even for a lifetime
Glasses meaning thin, fashionable contact lenses
Which could be used only till passing of that academic exams.
Gandhi said “means are more important then ends”
And through non-violence from British freedom for our country lent
But we now by making –“end is more important than means”,
Undoing the hard earned freedom’s good deeds!

This Is Love
Precious words drift away from their meaning
And the sun melts the chill from our lives
Helping us all to remember what we came here for
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
Little things that will change you forever
May appear from way out of the blue
Making fools of evrybody who dont understand
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
Since our problems have been our own creation
They also can be overcome
When we use the power provided free to everyone
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love
Oh, this is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love (repeat and fade)
