On The Internet

Forget about it being fresh,
If it is discovered...
On the internet.

It is not as if a wrong telephone number,
Has been called and placed.
One makes and chooses to forget.
To dial another!
Today anyone can be traced...
As if face to face.
To become as close,
As a brother, sister, father or one's mother.
With a spending of more time electronically...
On a keyboard that connects...
Wherever in the world one wishes to be.
And whenever the need.

'I've felt closer to you in these past few days,
Let's get married!
We'll meet at the alter...
And exchange introductions.'

Anyone can be researched,
From birth until death.
And if someone has claimed,
Notoriety and fame...
A simple 'burp' heard while eating,
May stir the beginning of one's shame.

And if one should make a mistake,
No matter how small or insignificant it is...
Someone may decide to use it,
As a means to remember!
And never to forgive.

'You burp while eating?
I had no idea.
That's disgusting!
I thought you were more,
Than just an average human being!
Let's divorce.
We still have time to select another course.'

Forget about it being fresh,
If it is discovered...
On the internet.
As just as disposable!

Forgive Me Brother

Forgive me brother
For I do not cry upon the world’s shoulders
I do not mourn upon thy death
I do not seek sympathy from those unknown
But I expect your memory to maintain and withhold
In the world’s structure when I grow old.

As time may go
And age may sweep upon me
I shan’t forget your face
nor the memories which were brought

As time increased and paths were led
I shan’t forget the pain and tears which I shed
Behind this face lies the truth
Of all which was to be said and all which is still within
My heart break shall stay inside me

Forgive me brother
If I do not visit your graveside
If I do not pledge my grief
By the growing grass
Near your stone or side
If I do not claim my love

Forgive me brother
For I am hiding
Form the world
Which seems
So in pure
But which once seemed
Clear and defiant
When you walked in a room.

Forgive me brother
I am unclear
Unsure
Of where this world is leading me
Promise you will guide me
I shan’t forget thee.

If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem

If I forget thee, Jerusalem,
Then let my right be forgotten.
Let my right be forgotten, and my left remember.
Let my left remember, and your right close
And your mouth open near the gate.

I shall remember Jerusalem
And forget the forest -- my love will remember,
Will open her hair, will close my window,
will forget my right,
Will forget my left.

If the west wind does not come
I'll never forgive the walls,
Or the sea, or myself.
Should my right forget
My left shall forgive,
I shall forget all water,
I shall forget my mother.

If I forget thee, Jerusalem,
Let my blood be forgotten.
I shall touch your forehead,
Forget my own,
My voice change
For the second and last time
To the most terrible of voices --
Or silence.

Time (part 1) .

time turns the weather from hot and cold,
time makes us grow old,
time is a split decision,
time is what we have alot in prison,
time is something you cant buy,
time keeps going even after you die,
time is money and money is time,
time is what you get when you commit a crime,
time is something you cant break,
time is something you learn from a mistake,
time doesnt grant you wishes,
time is based on decisions,
time is something you remember from the past,
time is something that goes by so fast,
time gives u another try,
time makes you laugh and cry,
time makes you happy and sad,
time is something you want more but never had,
time has no end,
time can make you a better man,
time makes you choose wrong from right,
time turns day to night,
time makes you forgive but not forget,
time is something you could regret,
time makes you go under pressure,
time is something you will always treasure,
time is never enough,
time is easy but also rough,
time can make you rich or poor,
time is something we all want more.

Remember Not To Forget Me

You have been through a lot
You still have a long way to go
Discrimination will always be in your way
You will face new trials everyday
So many people you will meet
Just remember not to forget me

You have a lot to live for
But not a lot to come back for
I’ll always be here waiting
Waiting for the love of my life
For my happiness to return to me
Please remember not to forget me

You gave me what I never had before
Hope, a reason, the will to keep being
I lived for the moment, you taught me to slow down
You taught me to think about it, to savor it
And then to plan for tomorrow
So when tomorrow comes, remember not to forget me

When you’re with me, the rest of the world fades
Everything melts away and it’s just you and me, face to face
I don’t know how you feel, but I know you are part of me
You are my other half, I need you to breathe
You are the light to my dark, the night to my day
As the sun rises and sets, remember not to forget me

You remind me that I don’t need their reality
I just need you with me, away where we can be
Every kiss you give me takes my tears away
With each passing day we get closer
Closer to the day when you will take me away
Just come back, remember not to forget me

I tried to quit you, to prove i didn’t need you
I failed, I couldn’t forget you, the memories found me
Everything near me has residue of you
Close my eyes, I see you, as if you were here
You know what, I couldn’t be happier
Carry the memories with you, remember not to forget me

Every morning that I wake, I’ll think of you
And you will be on my mind all through the day
When it’s late, I’ll be thinking of you, as I lie there alone and awake
As I dream it is you I will see
I can only hope you will be thinking of me
My darling, my love, please remember not to forget me

Forget Me Not

My friend, never
Forget, forgotten me,
Forget and be forgotten.

Never forget
Our friendship,
Our relationship,
Our partnership.

Never forget
Our hope,
Our inspiration,
Our courage,
Our confidence.

Forget me not,
When we live separately,
When we out of sight,
When we out of mind,
When we out of sanity.

Forget yet remember me,
Forget yet forgive me,
Forget yet pray for me,
Forget yet call me.

Please forget me not.
Not to forget,
Your friend,
Your dream and vision,
Your ambition and success.

Forget me not,
Forget the No,
Forget the Maybe,
Forget the should be.

Think not to forget,
Think to remember,
Think to feel,
Think to say.

Forget, forgotten,
All bad things,
All bad deeds,
But forget me not.

Calling All Hearts

To the father and the son who never talk,
Come back home
To the husband and the wife who are both at fault,
Come back home
Forget the past and start again
Face to face and make amends
Calling out around the world
Every heartbroken boy, every lonely girl
Take what's right and forgive what's wrong
I'm calling all hearts to come back home
From the single mom trying to make ends meet
Daddy come back home
From the parents of the child living out on the street
Baby come back home
Forget the past and start again
Face to face and make amends
Can i hear an amen
Can i hear an amen
To every soul who's lost their way,
Come back home
Yeah the wait is over, today's the day
Come back home come back home
Oh calling out around the world
Every heartbroken boy, every lonely girl
Take what's right and forgive what's wrong
I'm calling all hearts, i'm calling out around the world
Every heartbroken boy, every lonely girl
Take what's right and forgive what's wrong
I'm calling all hearts to come back home

Mr. Telephone Man

Mr. telephone man
There's something wrong with my line,
When i dial my baby's number
I get a click everytime
Mr. telephone man
There's something wrong with my line
When i dial my baby's number
I get a click every time
When i dial 611 computer service
She said "hello may i help you
Please?"
I told her something must be wrong
With my phone
Cause my baby wouldn't hang up
On me
Mr. telephone man
There something wrong with my line
When i dial my baby's number i get a
Click every time
Mr. telephone man
There something wrong with my line
When i dial my baby's number i get a
Click every time
She let the phone ring 20 times
Before she answered
Let me tell you what happened then
A minute later i got the operator
Saying please hang up and place
Your call agian
Mr. telephone man
There's something wrong with
My line
When i dial my baby's number
I get a click everytime
Mr. telephone man,
Soemthing's wrong with my line
I try to dial her number
I get a click everytime
Soem strange man is on the
Telephone
He keeps telling me my baby
Aint home
She got no party line
Situation blowing my mind
Oh, i just can't take this anymore
Please operator
See what you can do,
I dialed the right number
But i still couldn't get through
Could you just check the line
Just one more time if you can
I'm pretty sure her phone
Wouldn't be answered by no man
Mr. telephone man
There's something wrong with
My line
When i dial my baby's number
I get a click everytime
Mr. telephone man,
Soemthing's wrong with my line
I try to dial her number
I get a click everytime
Must be a bad connection
I give her my love and affection
I just can't take this no more
This situation blowing my mind
Blowing my mind
Can't get my baby on the line
I tried dialing information (mr. telephone man)
I can't get no coperation (mr. telephone man)
Her sister's on the phone telling me my baby

Forget Everything You Thought You Knew

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Wipe it clean.
An absent mind till the end of time.
No more pain, let it fade.
Today is not yesterday.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Memories erased.
Scars healed.
Such a sad face.
Smile and turn it all around.
Such a sweet sound.
The heart racing.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Tear down that wall.
Make it crumble.
Make it fall.
Be careful not to stumble.
When all is lost something new can always be found.
Don't be scared for you will not drowned.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget it all.
Start moving forward.
Faster and faster.
Marching upon the sands of time.
Your life defined by your every movement,
your words spoken.
So symbolic.
Meanings behind meanings.
Metaphorically speaking.
This is the way, please enjoy your stay.

Forget everything you thought you knew.
Forget all.
Passing by with a disguise.
A change for the better.
Here my unwritten letter.
Crumbled and flying into the sky.
Don't ask why Just Forget everything you thought you knew.

You Are 'Never' Going To Change

Here it comes, again.
That same denial I make attempts to forget.
The same one about my missing someone loved.
Someone I am trying my best not to admit.

Why me?
Why can't you just leave me alone,
And be about your own business.
Here I sit alone for a few minutes.
With the thought of this on my mind.
And then I believe from me those feelings go.

And then when I 'think' the coast is clear.
Those feelings come again.
They without notice re-appear.

So I pick up the telephone.
Blocking out my number before I dial.
Knowing those feelings once had in me are gone.
To announce very quickly to 'whoever' answers...
That the number I dialed was wrong.

Why me?
I find I am asking myself this,
Constantly.

Here it comes, again.
That same denial I make attempts to forget.
The same one about my missing someone loved.
Someone I am trying my best not to admit.

So I pick up the telephone.
Blocking out my number out before I dial.
Knowing those feelings once had in me are gone.
To announce very quickly,
The number I dialed was wrong.

'Why can't you just leave me alone? '

Excuse me?
Didn't you here me say...
I dialed a wrong number?
You are 'never' going to change!

Forgive And Forget

Forgive and forget as I've been told
That query keeps coming to my mind
As 'I forgive' is the easiest words for one to say
But to forget, to me it seems like a crime.
To forget the evils that someone has done
Or even the evils or lies that they had spoke
To walk away as they never had accrued
As though to have a nightmare and never to awoke.
When we were young we are taught by our elders
To forgive the trespasses against us one and all
We must forget the pain and suffering that we felt
And must lock that away behind our own brick wall.
The lies and the evils that were done to us,
Even by friends and the ones who we had loved
We must then say that I forgive you one and all
And to some, that forgiveness is not even enough.

Forgive and forget those words we have heard
Even the bible does speak the same
To forgive the sins that were committed against us all
And so against no one can we ever curse or blame.
Sometimes though it seems like in this life
The wrong doers are always asking to forgive and forget
And then the moment that you smile and accept their request
They attack you, and they feel no sadness or regret.
Forgiving sometimes it is so very hard to do
And then to forget that person of their evil deeds
While trying not to remember what they have done to you
While wishing in them, you once again could believe.
Now as I think about my very own past
Of all the wrongs and evil deeds to me I must accept
I read that forgiveness is mine so said the Lord
So now I toss the evils done to me off to forgive and forget.
