On The Butt Kiss List

On the 'Butt Kiss' List...
Many are now finding,
Their time invested misplaced.
Saddened faces fallen from grace,
With 'perks' of these actions gone!

'What went wrong? '

Happy songs once sung...
Now follow them with the blues.
Bad news is all they hear!
And it obvious and clear...
Easy days with comforts lost,
Are being challenged by borders crossed...
By those who now demand they get attention.

Threats of lifestyles damaged no longer mentioned.
And interests of those protected...
Are neglected by 'fat cats' with big cigars.
Stuffing pockets with embezzled cash!
Ruining lives before they dash fast.

And memories of turned up snob noses...
Embarrasses those who wear tattered egos,
And second hand clothes.
As they discreetly greet,
Poverty face to face on urban streets.
While listening to newscasters declare and say,
How better off today things are than anytime yesterday!

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Yesterday I done things that pleased others
Today I do things that pleased myself
Tomorrow is the day I change what I have done wrong

Yesterday I hate things that hurt me
Today I shall change things under my control
Tomorrow I shall do more that I can envisioned

Yesterday I had past my youth era
Today I am wiser than yesterday
Tomorrow I will become a legend because I dare to dream big

Happy are those whom appreciated what yesterday had brought
Happy are those whom plan for things to do today
For tomorrow what might bring us is eternal happiness and peace

Yesterday Time flies so fast without realising we are already dead
Today Wasting our time is wasting our life
Tomorrow Time is valueless and priceless

Let yesterday remind me of the sweet memories of yester years
Let today be my reminder of treasuring our life
For tomorrow may bring uncertainty onto our life

So let us treasure and value our time
Time becomes priceless when we take things for granted
Time becomes meaningless when we face our final moment of our dead

Time becomes tomorrow heaven when we treasure the present moment.

Gone Are Those Sad Songs Sung

Gone are those sad songs,
Sung begun some sang.
With the singing of those sad songs,
Gone
Once sung 'then' now no one sings,
With a wish to begin them again.

Too many on the streets.
Now too accustomed to fresh beats,
Declare they will not be defeated.
By a repeating of old tunes.
Too many collectively.
Have decided to leave.

Gone are those sad songs,
Sung begun some sang.
With the singing of those sad songs,
Gone.
Once sung now no one chooses to sing,
With a wish to begin them again.

Solos and duets seem for many more accepted.
With a clouding once done to dim overcasting skies.
Clearing now as a harmony begins,
To find eyes brightening.
With a listening to voices heard.
And giving each one specific attention.

That Uncertainty Is Still Being Discussed

We have known of their covert activities.
And have been monitoring them for years,
To insure their threats against us...
Are kept at a minimum.

'That's great news.
Now explain a lost investment of trillions of dollars,
At the expense of those who have been innocent...
With the sacrificing of their lives,
And those standards valued never to be revived?
As tons of money is continued to be spent,
Protecting 'our' interests.

Do you mind explaining to us,
Who do your refer to as 'our'?
And those interests protected belong to who?
Specifically? '

That uncertainty is still being discussed.
But we trust you will maintain your trust in us,
As we further agree to deceive you with excuses.

'Sure no problem.
Take as long as you wish.
My questions are based on my own personal curiosities.
I'm sure the others deep in sleep,
Could care less of your thought process.'

Well...
We certainly have our fingers crossed,
That your comments have merit and truth.
Keeping those dumbed down is not as easy as it seems.

This Morn

this was written in my own website
at the beginning
of January 2007

This Morn
I greet this day as usual always the same issue
as usual
but the next moment my tears fill the floor as morn goes by everyday like before
I greet this day as yesterday the day before today and the day before yesterday and the day after yesterday two days from now like I used to greet Him in my songs of praise I feel at ease after this release, yesterday like today and the many many days after tomorrow, feeling no sorrow when I greet Thee, my Lord of Heaven.

Her

Her tears
are still drilling holes
to the center of my heart.
Lonely,
I can no longer feel
her lips on my lips,
her face on my face,
her hand in my hand.
Blind,
I can no longer see
the skin
covered by her clothes.
Touched
by another man's kiss,
covered by his embrace
I imagine her to be.
Hate I have
for him,
for me,
for the whole world
but not for her.
In love
with this girl
I was.
Lost
in her lost embrace
I am.
A memory
among other memories
I wish to be.
In love
with this girl
I still am.

Fragile Light

If your old and weary car breaks down
And can no longer faithfully carry you like a parent
On a dark night on a rain-spattered street;
If your nearest friend has turned ghost-like
And vanished with your cash;
If your loving mother isn’t home
Or has lost her phone,
I want to be someone
Who would drag himself out of bed
In the middle of the heart-tattered night
To search some godless street
Until you were found and safe.

I’ve given up on love a long time ago;
I’ve given up on finding meaning to my existence;
I’ve given up from time to time
In any belief in a compassionate God,
But I won’t give up anytime soon
My desire to do you some good
And protect the fragile light of your eyes.

Pinch

i look at my face wrinkles are being drawn like a plow making furroughs
on the ricefield,

wrinkles, i am getting wrinkles,

i look at my arms and i touch it, they are loose now, like some clothes
hanging loosely in my body, emaciated by lack of nutrition,

i look at my hear, i open it like a pettry cash box, i see some scars
and some loose coins for change, i like to break it open and leave
it that way, i am saddened by this

emptiness, this pain,

i stand now in the mirror with a picture on hand of my youth

i look many times finding how
time drenched me with old age, my hands beginning to tremble my
mind forgetting more and more of those memories of my youth,

i refresh myself, i get this clip and pinch myself, i remember

i am still alive, and that is luck enough, a friend of mine just died today,
cardian arrest,
and i am trying to do some little thinking, what if i will be next?

i am finite, i pinch myself some more, some more, some more.....

till i turn blue, till i bleed, who cares?

What's Been Done Has Been Done

For the first time they all sat,
Together...
In an obvious nervousness.
No longer separated,
By lines of divisions.
Or seats that depicted them,
In political affliations.

The beginning of a seriousness has begun.
And arguments of special interests...
Is slowly ending its run!

For the first time they all sat,
Together...
In an obvious nervousness.
No longer separated,
By lines of divisions.
Or seats that depicted them,
In political affliations.

And a leader states,
'Whether you like it or not...
You are going to grow up.
Whether you like it or not...
Your petty stuff has been enough.'

The beginning of a seriousness has begun.
And arguments of special interests...
Is slowly ending its run!

The streets are in shambles.
And those rich believe they can not be touched.
The funds needed to repair and correct despair...
Is going to take what some have.
And what they have must be given up.

What needs to be fixed,
Is going to come out of pockets.
Out of the pockets of those who leech.
Out of the pockets of those who fed on fat.
And they are among the elite.

The streets are in shambles.
And those rich believe they can not be touched.
The funds needed to repair and correct despair...
Is going to take what some have.
And what they have must be given up.

For the first time they all sat,
Together...
In an obvious nervousness.
No longer separated,
By lines of divisions.
Or seats that depicted them,
In political affliations.

The beginning of a seriousness has begun.
And arguments of special interests...
Is slowly ending its run!

What's been done has been done...
And now the time has come to undo it!

Today is better than Yesterday

Yesterday

Yesterday, I was running with to feet
Yesterday, I was playing with kids
Yesterday, I was kicking the ball
Yesterday, I had it all, all was mine.

Yesterday, I was growing well,
Yesterday, I had it all undercover
Yesterday was my day
Yesterday, my days were

Yesterday, I had a lover, ‘true lover’
Yesterday, promises were made
Yesterday, promises were not kept
Yesterday, I was happy.

Yesterday, I gave him everything
Yesterday, I sacrificed everything
Yesterday, I was a fool
Yesterday, I was dying

Today

Today, I am lying in bed
Today, I am watching hopeless kids
Today, I can hardly move
Today, everything is falling

Today, I am dying in bed
Today, it is all wrong
Today, is not my day
Today, my days are not

Today, I have no one
Today, promises are broken
Today, promises are not
Today, I have no hope

Today, I long for myself
Today, I cry over spilled milk
Today, I am wise
Today, I live

Whatever happened yesterday is not
Whatever was, is not
Whatever was broken can be fixed
Whatever wound are, can be healed
Just need the Perfect Healer

Jesus I know you are! ! !

The Declining Art Of Communication

We all seem to be living our lives
At an ever increasing pace.
We are finding less and less time
To meet up with people face to face.

You often read stories in the press,
About people being fired or dumped by text.
The way in which we communicate has changed so much,
That you do find yourself wondering 'Whatever next? '

There are some things, which by text or email,
You just really shouldn't say:
Like, if you're telling someone that they're no longer wanted,
Or that someone they know has just passed away.

You can check your email at your leisure,
Unlike if someone contacts you by phone,
But like they say, it's good to talk,
So you really shouldn't moan.

I love receiving letters on fancy paper from my friends,
And hear them dropping through my letterbox,
But the whole idea of 'snail' as opposed to email,
Is a concept which, nowadays, is often mocked.

If you're talking face to face,
You're less likely to get the wrong impression.
You can connect more to people's thoughts and feelings,
If you are able to read their facial expressions.

Tackling a sensitive subject with someone,
Often has us trembling with fear,
But is it really better for it to be discussed
Electronically, rather than ear to ear?

Sometimes, you can spend hours together,
During which time, very little of importance is said.
Then, later, you log on to your computer,
And discover all the gossip is on there instead!

If you put all of your news on Facebook,
You may find your face to face conversation is suddenly dead.
When you next meet up with someone and mention your news,
They will turn to you, and say 'Yeah, you said'!

The world of communication has come on in leaps and bounds,
But, in some ways, it has advanced too much.
Communication can now be so impersonal,
That we seem to have lost the human touch.

All Kinds Of People

Theres a time for love, and a time for healing
You cant go back and undo whats been done
Word of mouth, time is revealing
Just how far weve let this kingdom come
Hand in hand, were finding our way
And today is just tomorrows yesterday
Some will die for you; some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Turn the world around, tear the borders down
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Yeahhhh
A kiss of life, and the hand of faith
A boy grows up into his fathers son
And he learns to love, hes been taught to hate
To carry on the way it has been done
All our lives its debts to repay
And then someday we can put the past away
Some will die for you, some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Turn the world around, tear the borders down
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Some will die for you; some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Put your fear away, find a better way,
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Yeahhhh
In a moment, things can change
One look behind and its never the same
Some will die for you, some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Turn the world around, tear the borders down
Theres all kinds of people in this world
(all kinds of people of people in this world)
Some will die for you, some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Put your fear away, find a better way,
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Some will die for you; some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world

Clothes

That party requires me to wear this and that
The dress code rules, the most annoying;
And if I have to deliver this news
Such as delivering newspapers
to be wearing a raincoat
How idiot-definitely-in times of rain and
the news was soaking
'How are you so? '
Weather folded pocket behind
The voice laughed, embarrassed the rigid rules..
What clothes should be removed
even though it
Giggles fly over the heads of
And golden perch in the cage
The owners of the kingdom of words;
Husband joked with another man's wife
In the pockets of his clothes there
1 box of cards,
mobile-phone numbers and streets with no name
'Excellent news today'
All nodding like dolls;
Made of tulips...
I say birds fly free
Dancing in my awkward silence
So what does it mean, all these dishes;
Presented after further ado completed
Or enjoy the embrace of the word..
After this we said go!
After this we remove the clothes;
And the buttons were scattered in the air
Became the new news about the clothes;
We laugh together..

Corridors Of Our Memories

Down the corridors of our memories,
we stroll whenever we can,
finding snippets of our life left behind.
Loves that we wanted but lost,
heartaches that fell upon us
in those long ago days.
We stroll down the corridors
looking for things we forgot
finding little pockets
that we had forgotten about.
Little treasure that made our life full
now only a memory from a faraway hill
that we once climbed,
but will never climb again.
Faces flicker passed as if on some movie screen
of people from our past never to be seen again.
All of them deposited along
the corridors of our memories
where we like to stroll along
every now and then.

Waiting For The Day

Now everyday I see you in some other face
They crack a smile, talk a while,
try to take your place
My memories serve me far too well
It's not like at all
we just broke up
It's not like at all
it was yesterday
But something I just can't explain
something
And no one ever saw your face again
just say good bye to the stupid mistakes we made
My memories serve me far too well
the years will come and go
some of them will change our lives
some of us still have nothing to show
nothing baby
but memories
And I just wish to see your face again
Won't you keep waiting for that day ?
I know I know I know
You hear these words that I say
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want

Satellite Blues

(young - young)
She makes the place a jumpin
The way she moves around
She like a rump and rollin
Thats when she get it out
And when she start a rockin
She bring me to the boil
She like to give it out some
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
A picture clear for watchin
The dish is runnin hot
The box is set for pumpin
She gonna take the lot
The way she get the butt in
Shes gettin set to ball
I like to chew it up some
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues), yeah yeah
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
Cant get nothin on the dial
The frigin thing gone wild
All I gets the dumbed down news
New satellite blues
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
I got the satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
This things nothing but a load of crap
Im gonna send it right back
You can stick it where it hurts...

Oh Happy Days

Everyone likes you.

Oh happy days,
Please stay today.

Oh happy days,
Sweet like honey.

Oh happy days,
loving family ties.

Oh happy days,
Giving us strength.

Oh happy days,
Children out playing.

Oh happy days,
On the green grass.

Oh happy days,
With boundless optimism.

Oh happy days,
I give thanks.

Oh happy days,
Dreaming for more.

Oh happy days,
Warm and bright.

Oh happy days,
Like love eternal.

Oh happy days,
And glad memories.

Oh happy days,
New hope prayers.

Oh happy days,
With smiling faces.

Oh happy days,
Holidays and health.

Oh happy days,
With close friends.

Oh happy days,
Generous and giving.

Till the very end.

Oh happy days,
Always and forever.

Amen.

Farewell to Those Times I Knew Too Well

Goodbye to those midnights,
And tears that came to fall.
No longer am I there.
No longer there am I,
At all.

So aware I am,
Where I am today.
No regrets have I saved.
Not from those days,
To relive and replay!

And with any midnight now,
That comes along.
I am not sitting with sorrows forlorn.

I have said my farewells,
To those times I knew well...
That held me,
To memories that saddened...
But have since gone!

I have grown more to want my life to live,
For me!
I have taken more time needed,
Just to grieve.
And when I sit at midnight now,
I'm not with yesterday.
I am here today to say,
Farewell...
To those times,
I knew too well!

A Poet's Confession

Time is passing inadvertently
But to me, the hours seem longer
When you are no longer by my side,
Making my heart sad and lonely...

I can honestly confess
That I can still hear your voice
Through the happy birds
Singing by my windows
Early in the morning
And I can still see your smile
Stamped in the flowers
Of my now saddened garden...

In every clear night,
I can see in the Moon and Stars,
The clear reflection of your face
While finding inspiration
In the very scent of your face
Still preserved in the pillow
That you left behind in my bed
When you decided to depart
From our nest, for always! ...

A this very moment,
I don't have an idea
Of your feelings or whereabouts
Or in whose arms you find refuge
Or in whose lips, you calm your thirst,
Neither whose foreign hands
Are now re-drawing your soft body,
While I am only feeling your caresses
Through the soft wind
Blowing by my empty dwelling...

Now, fully aware that time
Neither forgive or forget anyone
When leaving its unreleasable marks
On those who dear to defy...
I must confess therefore,
That I feel young again,
Every time I think of you
But also, I feel very old
Whenever I realize
That I am without you!

Packed With Ammo

Packed with ammo.
The kind to settle scores,
Discreetly.

When one has been annoyed,
To a brim that overflows...
It is best to keep,
A repayment unexpected.

Just to ensure,
The unbelieving receiver knows...
Actions of deception exposed and known,
Have been delivered at the wrong doorstep.
And will not be accepted,
For a continuation of visits.

To nip this in the bud,
Has a way of showing quivering lips...
A one on one presentation,
Means a resolving of serious business meant.

Packed with ammo.
The kind to settle scores,
Discreetly.
With a face to face acknowledgement,
As to what and will must come to an end.

'I understand there was something done I did,
You disliked.
And I've come to hear what it was I did to do,
From you.

I'm not into hearsay or hand-me-down gossip.
There is something about direct comprehension,
I like to get understood.

You have a moment?
And let's keep this between us.
Okay?

Who knows...
We may even come to agree.
Nothing more would please me.'
