On Missions To Befriend

There are people who have had a need,
To create their own subservience.
It gives them a sense,
Of feeling powerful over others.
With a taking away from them discreetly,
To boost their own egos with an ability to steal.
After pretending they are on missions to befriend them.

I’m Pretending

I’m pretending nothing happened,
that we are still together.
I’m pretending you never
went away with someone new.
I’m pretending we are still a couple,
that you are still nearby.
I’m pretending,
pretending
I am still with you.

I’m pretending that our love
still shines brightly.
I’m pretending that you still care
and lying to myself each day.
I’m pretending that you just stepped out
and that you are not far away.
I’m pretending,
pretending
I am still with you.

I’m pretending it always summer
and that winter never comes.
I’m pretending life is as it was
and I’m forever with you.
I’m pretending you are with me
and not in the arms of someone new.
I’m pretending that I am smiling
and that I’m not feeling blue.
I’m pretending,
pretending
I am still with you.

Happy Friendship Day,2012

Befriend someone who
Fills a void in life;
Befriend someone who
Helps you in all strife.

Befriend someone who
Consoles you in grief;
Befriend someone who
Never turns a thief!

Befriend someone who
Steals your mind and heart;
Befriend someone who
Weeps when you depart.

Befriend someone who
Makes days beautiful!
Befriend someone who
Makes life meaningful!

Weeping Meter

If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.

If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.

The more you get some pity you sit and solicit it.
With a drive you started in campaign,
And aimed to have a perfect pity party trip.

You've got your buckets ready to collect the slightest drip.
Like an attention getting kitten,
Being petted as it purrs and licks!

That's what you need!
A boost to benefit.
Like the petting of a kitten getting enjoyment out of it.
To get a little bit of stroking before it leaves...
To meander off and drift.
Satisfied and pleased.

If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.

Maybe you just need some petting,
And some stroking too?
Oooo...
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.

Maybe you just need some petting,
And some stroking too?
Oooo...
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.

Sociopaths Stand Back

People in the middle,
Enjoy keeping their riddles griddled.
And slapped to sizzle nonstop.
While turning up the temperature...
To see who steams a lot!
Just to justify that feeling to boost.

Nobody adjusted and in a right frame of mind,
Sits to feel reduced,
In a seduction they can find.
Just to feel that boost.

Nobody wants to stay a loose goose cooked.
For other geese to please.
Just to feel that boost.

Nobody carries on their back,
Weighted troubles packed.
To consciously seek a place to bend their knees.
Just to feel that boost.

Nobody chooses to sing the blues,
Because they love the melody.
Just to feel that boost.
Although some may elect to fight...
Instead of leaving alone what is known is right.

Sociopaths stand back.
Nobody expresses those needs you feed.
Just to feel that boost.
And trying to justify,
Why their detached caboose is loose.

The three parts of the theory are analytical ability, the ability to analyze things to judge, to criticize. Creative, the ability to create, to invent and discover and practical, the ability to apply and use what you know.

My burning desire to create

MY BURNING DESIRE TO CREATE

So intense and so powerful
Like a furious burning fire
My desire to create is so powerful
So painful and so throbbing
Like a hungry child crying for food
My desire to create is so hopeful
So rigid and so consistent
Like a passionate entrepreneur
My passion to create is so unshakeable

Every hour that passes by I want to create
Every moment I spend I long to create
I have a living urge and desire to create
A living passion to express myself
A burning desire to live my true life

Sometimes I hide myself in the midst of business
At times I deliberately cloud my space with my busy life
Sometimes I try to hide away from my passion to create
Sometimes I try to narrow down the size of my passion
But regardless of all my efforts my desire always finds me
I am so transparent inside, my passion to create
Has invaded all my privacy inside
So strong and so powerful
Like a helpless child looking for love and security
My desire to create is so seeking and so burning.

This Exchange Is the Best One that Is Accepted

Satisfying the attention seeking egos of others,
Is easy.
Express a life lived that is disliked.
Complain about other people.
And pretend you are miserable on a daily basis.
People love to feel,
Someone besides themselves...
Shares a feeling of unhappiness,
That is heard and confessed.
And left to go unaddressed.
This exchange is the best one that is accepted,
By those seeking to satisfy with attention...
A boosting done to uplift their egos.

What Makes Us Human

I believe ability makes us intelligent, it distinguishes us from animals
I believe all have the ability to learn, to create art, to love
I believe we can let our ability go to waste, or we can let it flourish
I believe our ability that makes us human is our intelligence and good judgement
I believe many choose to ignore this ability and rely on animalistic instinct
I believe some humans treat animals better than humans
I believe to make this world peaceful we need to let our abilities flourish

It is curious that many people advocate humane treatment for animals, but treat actual humans inhumanely

Dry leaf

We are social animal alright
Meant to fool all and fight
Create controversy and question creator
Forget our own existence and try to fool the mentors

As you feel the hungry, you take the food
As you grow in age, you feel nice and good
Human mind may never allow being at rest
Live happily as much as you can and think of best

What has happened to all of us?
Raising the finger of doubt with mistrust?
Are we in position to create human body?
Is it not the work of only almighty?

Let us not fool ourselves and claim ignorance
You are on this beautiful earth merely by chance
Think for a second and leave the doubt
There is nothing much to talk about

We shall remain at his mercy all the times
We may feel powerful at some give point of time
Nevertheless we are pawn in his game
You will never be able to find where from you came

I feel shame about arguments and laugh it out
We have no ability to hold strong with roots
We can be no more within friction of second
As everybody is destined to end

Peace thought and love only come from humble person
If he is wicked then he will escape it with many reasons
If he is arrogant with power then he may boost his image
Only to come down on earth like blank page

Only Those Who Believe They Can

Don't you be afraid,
To boost it up a notch.
No...
Don't you be afraid.
No...
Don't you be afraid.

Don't you be afraid,
To give it what you've got.
No...
Don't you be afraid.
No...
Don't you be afraid.

Boost it.
Boost it.
Boost it up a notch.
And,
Don't be afraid to boost it.
Give it what you've got!

Only those who believe they can,
Will leap...
With a seeking,
What is theirs to reach.
So,
Boost it.
Boost it.
Boost it up a notch.

Only those who believe they can,
Will leap...
With a seeking,
What is theirs to reach.
So,
Boost it.
Boost it.
Boost it up a notch.
And,
Don't be afraid to boost it.
By a giving it what you've got!

Only those who believe they can,
Will boost...
It up!

Only those who believe they can will boost it,
Up!
Only those who believe they can will boost it,
Up!
Only those who believe they can will boost it.

People Who are Ignorant

People who are ignorant,
Have invested valuable time...
And money spent.
To prove their foolishness and ways,
Makes a difference.
Although these folks within their minds,
Have an absence of common sense.
And, are noticeably self destructive and crazed.

People who are ignorant,
Spend every dime spent...
Revealing their incompetence.
And taking direction from those who are right,
Is something they've never done.
Since deceit and decadence has been their main appetite.

People who are ignorant,
Believe an ability to thieve makes them great.
They believe their disasters started,
Shows their expertise and them being able to create.
But people who are ignorant,
Like these folks show they are and can be?
May seek an empathy from others for their stupidity.
But sincerity shown these empty headed 'entities'...
Is a waste of time.
Unless one wishes a suffering done endlessly.

However...
People who are ignorant,
Have been convinced their way of life...
Is one pursued by those who are jealous.
And are threaten because they are envied!
And standards they value,
Reflects upon them in a 'special' light.

Poetry for the People rests upon a belief that the art of telling the truth is a necessary and a healthy way to create powerful, and positive, connections among people who, otherwise, remain (unknown and unaware) strangers. The goal is not to kill connections but, rather, to create and to deepen them among truly different men and women.

Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever.

Obedient To Subservience

Obedient to subservience,
Was not intended for all to experience...
To enslave with materialistic wishes dreamed.
A subservience inflicted had been intended to restrict,
Those teased although strickly limited.

And yet today,
The ones who stood in the way to delay and prevent...
Opportunities meant for everyone,
To taste...
Have been from them taken away.

Obedient to subservience,
Was not intended for all to experience...
To enslave with materialistic wishes dreamed.
But those who insisted to exclusively greed,
Have discovered they regret such a selfish need to feed.

Obedient to subservience,
Has come to open the eyes of those self serving...
With an overwhelming permanance,
That exposes a blindness hindsight can not remove.

Pretending

(by jerry lynn williams)
How many times must we tell the tale?
How many times must we fall?
Living in lost memory
You just recalled
Working on the sound of the band
Trying to get the music right
Two go out working
Three stay home at night
Thats when she said she was pretending
Like she knew the plan
Thats when I knew she was pretending
Pretending to understand
Pretending, pretending
Pretending, pretending
Satisfied but lost in love
Situations change
Youre never who you used to think you are
How strange
Chorus
I get lost in alibis
Sadness cant prevail
Everybody knows strong love
Cant fail
Dont be pretending about how you feel
Dont be pretending that your love is real
Dont be pretending about how you feel
Dont be pretending that your love is real
Pretending, pretending
Pretending, pretending

In The Age Of Celebrity Worship

In the age of celebrity worship our own small gods we do create
And mortals like ourselves in the flesh we worship and celebrate
People who are good at golf and tennis and various other games of ball
We give them their big egos though pride can come before a fall
We look up to wealthy people and those of privileged birth and give to politicians power
And in the presence of the dictator they've created a Nation's people cower
We give big egos to strangers people we may never meet
At the table that they dine at we will never have a seat
Yet the unsung heroes of our town we choose for to ignore
He is just an ordinary fellow the bloke who lives next door
But he helps his wheelchair bound neighbour without asking for reward or pay
And for someone in need in the neighbourhood he does a good deed every day
But we see him as an ordinary bloke and his praises are unsung
Many of our heroes are quite dashing and competitive and young.

As Long As Their Own Needs Are Met To Satisfy

If one has an ability,
Noticed and taken for granted...
One shouldn't be made to feel obligated,
To fulfill last minute requests...
As if the abilities one has to produce,
Seems effortless and easier to disrespect.
And available to be used to someone's advantage.

People seeking the ability of another,
Without giving them a consideration of what it takes...
Usually falsely represent their own agenda.
Especially if no compensation is mentioned.
And...
If the one being used brings attention to this,
Of course someone is offended.

'You offended 'them' by not doing what they expected.
Although your time and effort to create what they requested,
Is believed to be enjoyed.'

~It is enjoyed.
Should that mean I also find it easy?
And my ability is worthless?
What drugs are these people on? ~

'I remember being asked to do an entire play production,
For a family fund raiser several years ago.
With lighting and sound technicians.
For free! '

~What happened? ~

'I asked them what they had in their budget.'

~And...
What did they have in their budget? ~

'Hotdogs, sandwiches and soft drinks.'

~Maybe they have no clue as to who you are? ~

'They could care less about that.
As long as their own needs are met to satisfy.'

~And spend thousands of dollars to parade around,
In outfits to impress others...
While complaining those entertaining them,
Demand to get paid 'BEFORE' taking the stage.~

'It sounds as if you have been around? '

~I have.
And that I keep as my secret weapon.~
