None of Them Should Be

If a lie is told long enough,
Eventually it becomes reality.
Unfortunately that is not true.
Look around you.
Are any of your beliefs in doubt?
None of them should be,
If truth was involved!

Bewitched By The Wicked

Bewitched by the wicked...
Bothering those betwixt and between,
Can be a troubling situation...
Lived by the ones in doubt,
With beliefs kept tossed about.

What's true and what isn't?
Why are many living in conflict?
Why does truth disturb?
And what is the purpose,
To deny what exists?

Bewitched by the wicked...
Bothering those betwixt and between,
Can be a troubling situation...
Lived by the ones in doubt,
With beliefs kept tossed about.

And with the testing of one's faith,
A safety felt is not embraced.
A life lived to receive a peace that's meant...
Easily provokes the initiation of an argument.
With a condenscending,
That patronizes the beliefs...
Of anyone for sport and fun!

Bewitched by the wicked...
Bothering those betwixt and between,
Can be a troubling situation...
Lived by the ones in doubt,
With beliefs kept tossed about.
Like a ball to dribble or hit by a bat.
Or run into an end zone,
For the scoring of points to attract!

Waiting to Dispense a Benefit of Doubt

Doesn't it seem as if those with selective memories,
Are always quick to tell their versions of truth...
With few facts involved.

Accusatory and defensive are their most common traits.
And there to appease a fence sitting,
When confronted in debate.

Out of both sides of their mouths expect anything.
But honesty is not one of them.
Those with selective memories have no clue what honesty means.
It is just not in their natures.

Hopefully you are not one patiently in quiet waiting,
To dispense a benefit of doubt to eventually see wasted.
I only have a few of those 'I-told-you-so' left to spare.

Speak the truth and you'll be heard.

She told me she cared,
I knew she lied,
She told them she cared,
They knew she lied,
She said she wanted me to be the best,
I knew she lied,
She said to them she wanted me to be the best,
They knew she lied,
She whispered she loved me,
I knew she lied,
She whispered to them she loved me,
They knew she lied,

She pretended everything when I was there,
She pretended to love me,
She pretended to care,
She said she wanted me to be happy,

We all knew the truth was not what she speak,
We all knew the truth was just about to leak,
We all knew the truth would come out,
We all knew the truth, with no doubt,

She was just like the people surrounding,
Pretending, acting, lying,
So the truth is what I spoke when I spoke to her,
I told her the truth is true, the truth is fair,
I told her...

If it's a lie, don't say another word,
However, speak the truth, and you'll be heard,

To lie to someone who truly loves you for you,
Is one of the most cruel things you can ever do,

To let them believe what you say to them is true,
When really all your thinking about is you, you and you.

Paradox of Truth

The most subtle lies art the greatest truth
Like the fairy tales of our imaginative youth
Each truth a paradox, a lie does tell
A truth somewhere in mythical spell
When one lies, truth still speaks
For in everything doth truth seek
To express itself to hearts to behold
The truth of life in every lie told
Told in such eloquent song
There is truth in something especially wrong
Rhetoric, myths, ignorance and lies
Truth in all, every truth belies.
If thou don't believe it is certainly true
For to believe is true to me and you
And in this poem if you believe no truth
Let this poem be truth's own proof….

Accepting To Protect False Beliefs

The telling of lies told and sold,
To deny in a hiding of one's insecurities...
Does not prevent,
An increasing mental instability...
As witnessed by those,
Not only experiencing buyer's remorse...
But shows the ones who have lied,
Responsible for much that has gone...
Misunderstood most of their lives,
While fighting against denials.

And today...
There is no way of escaping,
With a possibility on either side of truth...
To correct relationships destroyed to redo,
By accepting to protect false beliefs as done.
Or can fix to mend anyone's heart broken,
Of those victimized who have forgiven.
Since they will never be able to erase in time,
From their minds...
The effects of what has happened to them.

Accepting to protect,
False beliefs...
Doesn't shadow,
A truth that's known.

Accepting to protect,
False beliefs...
Doesn't shadow,
A truth that's known.

Accepting to protect,
False beliefs...
Doesn't shadow,
A truth that's known...
To keep those from being aware,
With a clearing of polluted air.

Which Sickness Is Preferred

If it helps to heal,
Why would sugar be added...
To the naturalness of anything tasted,
Concealing its true identity?
When eventually a curiosity will seek truth.
With a creating of havoc,
That could have been avoided.

Are factors attached to control issues,
THAT addicting...
To keep a people seeking chaos,
As a means that keeps them with beliefs...
A power over others is theirs to have eternally?
Is a sickness more dangerous than any weapon used.

How thick are the heads of those mindless?
And to what degree are their beliefs twisted?

And...
What is it on 'this' Earth,
Is perceived by anyone is theirs forever to keep?
Devastation, annihilation, with nonexistence?
To leave behind no human evidence?
Which sickness is preferred,
To implement by these mentally diseased creatures?

Whose Truth Is Reality?

Whose truth is reality?
And why are the many eyes focused upon it,
Seeing reality quite differently?
With many refusing,
To believe in any of it at all.

It is odd how those say they do know God exist.
With bragging rights about their religious affiliations.
But ask one of them,
When was it they stepped out of their way...
Based solely on their faith?

Do you get a look in return that offends?
Or...
Do you get a sermon to hear,
With scriptures quoted...
To make their beliefs understood.
And for some reason...
Their carrying a Bible should make that clear?

And that question you had asked,
Goes unanswered.
As an excuse is made,
To leave from your presence...
As fast as they came.
And under their breath you are called a name.

People are not up to that task.
Disguising 'your' reality...
They prefer to hide,
Behind 'their' masks!

Whose truth is reality?
Really?
And why are the many eyes focused upon it,
Seeing reality quite differently?

With many refusing,
To believe in any of it at all.

She Told Me...

She told me that
you’ve fallen for me
I blushed and asked you
“is it true? ”

She told me that
you would not tell me
I still did ask you
“is it true? ”

She told me that
you’ve always loved me
couldn’t help but ask you
“is it true? ”

I told her that
you couldn’t acknowledge
I kept on asking
“is it true? ”

She is my other self
she knows it all…
she told me again
you’ll take your time

Tell me, my love
how long do I wait...
to hear from you
if it really is true?

Beliefs

I watch you gather round and pray
Its something I can feel
I hear you chant every other day
I think its not quite real
Covered up so close
So as not to see
Are you happy are you happy this way
Stop and look around the world
So many different ways to see ourselves
Is it right or wrong
To put your beliefs on me
To put your beliefs on me
I dont want to live that way
A distance that is more than miles
Such a long long way
Its fine for men to be westernised
Will a woman ever see that day
Maybe maybe its not for me to understand
Do you think do you think
Do you think its better that way
To put your beliefs on me
To put your beliefs on me
I dont want to live that way
To put your beliefs on me
To put your beliefs on me
I dont want to live that way
Stop and look around the world
So many different ways to see ourselves

Freedom

I used to think you understood
Taught me right and learnt me good
Made things simple for my brain
Told the truth and made it plain
But the implications I mistook
Until I found out whose side you took
And now with paper in my hand
Im beginning to understand
So this is freedom - {they must be joking}
They must be joking - {if they think its true}
So this is freedom - [i doubt their truth}
So this is freedom - {for me and you}
From the front page news to the interviews
Its sink the reds and left the blues
They pretend theyre differing points of view
But its only different shades of blue
But the implications I mistook
Until I found out whose side you took
And now with paper in my hand
Im beginning to understand
So this is freedom - {they must be joking}
They must be joking - {if they think its true}
So this is freedom - [i doubt their truth}
So this is freedom - {for me and you}
[guitar solo]
So this is freedom - {they must be joking}
They must be joking - {if they think its true}
So this is freedom - [i doubt their truth}
So this is freedom - {for me and you}

Do I Lie?

You can’t believe all that you see.
Because it’s on the internet,
does not mean automatically
that it is true. Do not forget
that anyone can claim to be.
A recognised authority.
In their attempts to influence
beliefs held by their audience.
Their version of reality
which they present with clarity
Examined scientifically
by anyone that’s curious
enough to take an interest.
Who wants to put it to the test.
If you are wise you cross refer
with other sources and compare.
To check on their veracity
and you will find quite frequently.
It’s someone’s half baked fantasy.
You have to use your common sense
interpreting the evidence.
It may be true I can’t deny
that is a possibility
but then again it may not be.
Its up to you must decide
Before you can be satisfied
If it is truth or falsity.
I think it’s best to check it out
Discard it if there’s any doubt.
As for myself I’m cynical
I find some claims are comical.
But you can choose what you believe.
My words could be meant to deceive.

The Way It Is

My father told me
Son, it's OK to have ideals,
but beliefs against your government well that won't pay your bills.
You can raise your fists and publicly resist
but in the end corruption still exists.
(Chorus)
And no protest song will ever change the world.
When everybody does exactly as they're told.
In the end every man works for what is his.
You can fight the world, but that's just how it is
You're words are not meaningless to me,
I feel their honesty but it's my life that I gotta figure out for me.
It's what I've always done, not what I have become
and I know the consequences that will come.
And if I never reach the world or speak to people's souls
it's a passion that will not die as I grow old.
It's what I choose to do
it may not work for you but to myself I know I must be true.
(Chorus)
And no protest song will ever change the world.
When everybody does exactly as they're told.
In the end every man works for what is his.
You can fight the world, but that's just how it is
I am not ashamed to stand right where I've stood.
My beliefs they are unchanged because I believe they should.
And I'll measure my success one word at a time.
If the truth is spoken will I stand the test of time.

It could be for C.P Sharma

We search for truth but would we know
if our quest met with success
Perhaps truth changes as we grow.
We can’t be sure so we must guess.

Maybe there is no absolute
unchanging truth that’s permanent.
So we adopt beliefs to suit
whatever seems convenient

That’s fits in with what we think we know.
Because we fail to recognise
What we’ve been taught my not be so.
Though in due course we realise.

The quest fir truth which we pursue
would seem to be man’s destiny.
Its something we were born to do.
To search for truth continually

Although it seems illogical
I offer you this theory
The truth is something personal.
My truth only applies to me.

Your truth is only true for you.
It’s just another theory
I have no way to prove it true.
although it could be possibly.

Guilt Can Never Be Left Abandoned

A feeling of guilt,
Comes to attach to a mind...
As if applied to affix with supper glue.
To disturb only the one who knows it.

No matter if the truth is told.
It is going to be there,
To eventually show...
Someone mentally troubled.

Guilt can never be left abandoned,
As easily as a lie one leaves to tell.
Or believes...
In the doing of it.

Truth on the other hand,
When it eventually appears...
Seems never to mind,
To have tolerated a wait with patience.

The truth about Ruth…

Describe to me something…?
Such, as…? Well, any old thing
You want; but make it true.
Else, I’ll only come to rue’
A lie, if it were told as truth.
Say, didn't you love a girl called Ruth?
I, did but she was headstrong,
So, I couldn’t dare belong,
Or even think to her; now, could “I”
And whys that then do reply…?
Truth, be said, I was shabby and shy.
She, seemed more than earthly,
Rode horse back at; weekends early.
Where is she “now” then?
She’s been long gone. Since… when?
Oh, these last twenty years I guess
Like I said; she, was more than earthly.
Let’s get back to what I said:
Describe to me something…?
Such, as…? Well, any old thing
You want; but make it true.
Else, I’ll only come to rue’
A lie, if it were told as truth.

Truthified

It would be great
If the truth
Was not such a tremendous part,
Of our ever growing bout with reality!
People would believe anything
They were told.
A cure for anything
Would be sold on TV.
Accountability?
It wouldn't exist at all!
Disrespect would be accepted.
A diminished mindset...
With a decreased quality of life,
Would prevail!
And lies?
Well...
It would be great
If the truth
Was not such a huge part
Of reality!
There seems to be an overflow of it!
And you know what 'they' say...
About having too much of a good thing?
It just seems 'too' good to be true!
We've been 'truthified'.
And even denial has achieved glouting status!

'Are you being sarcastic? '

Who me?
NEVER!

Sincerity Of A Chemistry

Because one is approachable,
Does not mean another is being chased.
Laws of attraction are in force.
Which, from a point of view...
There are two involved,
To introduce on this pursuit.

But if one becomes too self involved...
Believing the honey is kept,
In just one jar.
Well...
Eventually that one will know what is true.
When it is made known that a honey wished to taste,
Isn't worth the game played.
Or the delay that has been wasted,
The other believed they saved for a chase.

It's not all about the honey.
Frequently it's about the sincerity of a chemistry.
When that's in place there is no chase.

Did My Eyes Deceive

Should I see an optician, doubt
Should I seek a visionary, doubt
Should I find a seer, great doubt
She was flawless and perfect, no doubt
Was it beauty or elegance, both
Did my eyes deceive, never

Should I seek an illusionist, never
Can i call the prophets, never
Will the elders define, never
Is it a miracle of miracles, never
Did my eyes deceive, never

She was wonderfully made,
I desire the hands of the Creator,
Fashioning an embodiment of beauty,
A perfect replica of reality,
I saw greatness in the creativity,
Resisting all sources of ambiguity,
It is true, i saw beauty,
Did my eyes deceive, never

Beauty through the paparazzi,
I defined it on snaparazzi,
Before it in reality i can paint,
Exhausted to the bone, i will faint,
Pure in heart and mind,
To erase the thoughts I tried,
Did my eyes deceive, never

She fell in love with my eyes,
She was always with my heart,
Yet she was never in my heart,
It was the reflection of fate,
It was never late,
I told her she was beautiful,
My eyes believed she was grateful,
My heart I doubted it to be faithful,
Yet being with her, i was hopeful,
Yet my eyes still doubtful,
Did my deceive, never
Was it makeup or otherwise,
The wonders of the makers of beauty,
Or the foxy look of artificiality,
Did my eyes deceive, no they didnt,
I saw an Angel, so rare but true
