No Words To Express

One day you will come to experience,
The pain others have known.
The ones who have shown this...
And walked alone.
Without heard sighs or moans.
Or signs of it on their spoken breath.

What comes to be felt,
Will find no words to express.
Or anyone able to address it.
And you then will begin to value,
The meaning and depth,
Of empathy and forgiveness.

Unknown

You'll never know,
How I feel...
Or lonely nights with tears
That fall.

You'll never know,
These grueling sessions felt.
Unless you've met each and all!

Your empathy to a degree is understood.
With a sympathy you express is shown.
But you, however...
Will never know the depth,
Churning under the surface within me unknown!

You carry thoughts
Of knowing my needs...
Even better than me!
And these teachings
Have been sadly condoned!

Everywhere I searched for the words

Everywhere I searched for the words
to express the depth of my true love to you
and nowhere could I find it in a book,
I could not even say the right words,
I could not express how much I wanted you here,
I could not give depth to feelings of dearness,
I could not even lay my soul bare at your feet,
still you were in my deepest thoughts,
in days and nights that I was missing you;
you are in my joy and sadness.

Yes...Your Situation Is Quite Different

'I am in pain.
And you act as 'if',
You aren't concerned about my wellbeing...
Or my dilemma,
Not one bit.

My agonies have increased.
And not a hint of empathy...
Have you expressed,
Knowing I am...
As you see,
In distress.'

I agree.
Your evaluation of me,
I can not deny.
Nor will I try.

But even though I am attempted...
To do an 'eye-for-an-eye',
OR a turning of the other cheek business.
I can not do that.
Even as your words to me heard...
To stop complaining,
And stand on my own two feet.
As I reached to get your assistance...
In my own hour of need,
You then described as weakness.

Those very words spoken to me,
Years ago...
Came from your lips.

And you didn't stop there,
You solicited others to defame and laugh at me.
I remember that clearly.
Maybe that act you performed,
Has attached to my lack of expressing an empathy...
You believed is deserved from me.

'Hey!
We all make mistakes
And maybe mine made were at your expense.
Being able to forgive replenishes.
And clearly my situation is quite different.
I've lost everything.'

I see.
And even your common sense.
Yes...
Your situation is quite different.
I'm not feeling your self pity.
And that weakness shown to you...
Is nothing like your conditional spinelessness.

Words Of Tears..: '(

tears speak
what words can't speak

pain tears heart
pain tears the life
pain has teared my heart
pain has teared my life
the pain he gave me
i can't forget
i still remember
his breath
his voice still rings in my ear
his presence is still felt
i seem to see his face in the crowd
why? why?
his soul lives on in me
yet it is the physical frame
why can i feel his pain
is it that thread of love

Someone's Heart

sounds never heard, words never spoken, eyes that never see, feeling never felt, someone's heart forever melts,

love never returned, passion never givin, pleasure never shown, something someone's heart will never know,

tears always felt, pain always known, sorrow that never goes away, for someone's heart that knows it very well, someone's heart is broken, someone's heart is never missed, someone's heart will mend,

someone's heart will never love again, someone's heart will never trust again and want to love, someone's heart never felt and my heart forever melts.

Loyal Faith

Doesn't it appear easy for some,
To tell others...
How to deal with their pain?
What to do with their feelings,
As if they can feel the same?

Someone told me they knew how I felt,
Once.
Because I 'told' them so!
But they heard words...
Not the depth of my torment,
Felt!
Or the heartbreak I carried and towed,
Inside my heart for decades!

And I am 'not' one of those,
Who announces agonies with glee!
Like some folks can not say hello...
Before they share every misery invisible,
No one sees when they are forced to leave...
These grieving leeches!

These are the people I don't need around me,
At all!
I know my journey has not been an easy one.
And I see very few skipping through their sorrows.
And that is why God and I are team-mates!
We've been close since my birth!
When I get tired and stressed,
With any old or fresh lingering mess?
I confess it.
Getting it off my chest!
I tell God right then...
It's Your turn to deal with the rest!
I've done my best.
And I am aware of my limitations!

I am 'not' going to try to impress.
With an understanding I wish to address.
Oh no!
Been there! Done that!

'I'll be right here working on my happiness.
If it is necessary for me to be disturbed...
Overwhelm me with guilt,
To quicken acts...
Of my begging for Your forgiveness, Father! '

My relationship with God is well deserved.
And known to be one of devoted loyal faith!

'Father...
I thank You for keeping me,
From being mentally malnourished! '

A Victim Of Learning Too Many Lessons

Why is it that it seems,
You express little empathy...
Towards those who are currently,
Suffering from hunger, homelessness.
And a loss of their dignities.

'I began to express that years ago,
When the sight of it would hurt me so.
And I witnessed those with turned up noses.
Pretending what was exposed,
Had been a dilemma others chose.'

But the circumstances today are quite different.

'How and why? '

Those who suffer,
Have lost their homes and valuables.
And images that impressed,
Others in a lesser position...
They never took time to address.
With their empathies expressed.

'And...
Your point is what?
Their suffering done is more effective?
And my empathy given to them,
Should be more reflective? '

But the circumstances today are quite different.

'How and why? '

These people have never experienced,
A life lived like this before.

'Neither had my ancestors.
But guess what? '

What?

'When my ancestors suffered,
They never discriminated by looking away.
And today you can say...
I am a victim of learning too many lessons.
And when I am shown a negligence,
By them expressed...
What am I to do?
Show them I have not been taught by the best? '

But the circumstances today are quite different.

'How and why?
Are these new lessons I have not recognized?
Have those old lessons been changed,
And are now disguised? '

Air the love

“I love you, I love you” aired the words
It came back with sharpness of swords
It had cut across the mountains and came back with echo
It had sweetness and softness of black cuckoo

It had same magnitude and pulse
Words had come out with impulse
It needed some one honestly to hear
She must have heard it without any fear

I remembered golden words said so beautifully
I tried to grasp the meaning but couldn’t understand fully
May be it had deep meaning and I did not care
It was making me unhappy and leading no where

To love one another is simple and purest form
No one knows where it generates and come from
You need not love whole world and miss at home
See the reason behind, go for it and welcome

Were those words mere spoken for joy?
Was I out for it only to satisfy lust and enjoy?
It clearly said in short and conveyed the desire
There was no immediate response for me to admire

We can greet each other with smile
It may make us to think for while
Does the love have had so much potential?
Who prefers it first and put the initial?

Though I have lost all my dear ones in the crowd
I can’t open up freely and speak so loud
It may be wrong to expect anything from strangers
Love definitely makes the way and ward of any danger

You may pray for love and wealth
You may get money but loose the health
Money can be had later on in process
Failure in love may not save your face

I heard the love echo in isolation
It was exactly the same in revelation
It had deep impact on my mind
I was able to understand the meaning of its kind

Does the love rebound and send same waves?
Do we really fail to catch and cave in?
Is the love not universal to understand?
It doesn’t make foes but always friends

I touched my heart and decided to act fast
Love should be felt and to be heard till last
The sky is limited but horizons very vast
I should admit it and throw away the mask

It needs sincerity and in depth acceptance
You must express it with clear stance
Why do we hide it from people when it is real?
Give it fair trial and put the seal

When Intentions Meant Are Not Mentioned

Can we share thoughts without speaking?
And how can that be validated?
If neither of us are near,
To appreciate what we hear?

No emotion I've known to feel,
Has ever been exchanged.
To have someone understand,
And comprehend...
From the outside to the inside.
Knowing what is felt,
Deep within.

Can love be shared and said is there,
But not expressed at all?
Can a broken heart be spared despair?
To not process pain,
Before any tears begin to fall?

And if those tears should fall from eyes,
Could alibis stop what is shown?
Empathy sent from distances given,
Isn't empathy whispered or a hug to convince.

Can we share thoughts without speaking?
And how can that be validated?
If neither of us are near to appreciate this...
Or witness a difference made.
When intentions meant are not mentioned...
Can relationships mend to save?

New York Poems: Reaction

There’s so much movement,
but its all confusion I say
There’s height but where's the depth,
Is it wearing a mask?
It seems as if I’m here to find it,
I walked onto the street and felt the need...
not need..
The want!

To write down the words of this city,
It called out that it could express itself.
Sandburg found the positive of Chicago
But there is more to positive then,
Efficiency and grandeur

The buildings,
Physicals, aesthetic and their gimmicks
The city has a soul as a whole
H-O-L-E
NYC isn’t empty!
What is left in these hearts?
There is no room for a heart,
yet it's relaxed

Is no one connected?
Is no one complete?
Is no one complacent?
What does that word mean?
The city... what is it?

It is a fishbowl,
To say the least.

Life Is a Growth Process

What would you like for me to say?
I feel your pain?
Or...
Forgive me,
I'm feeling my own right now.
Would you like a rain check?

There is nothing super human about me.
I can express empathy and unhappiness.
And in the past you have gotten that.
But to neglect myself,
To be there for someone else...
Has been done successfully.
With a lot of ungratefulness shown in exchange.

Remember when I was there holding you?
My own tears fell like rain and out of your view.

The only thing to you I hopefully can explain,
Is this...
What you are going through,
One day will heal and your life will improve.

And how best that gets done...
Only you will know it with maturity that comes.

Life is a growth process.
Full of lonely and unshared experiences to address.
And without assistence you will recognize this...
Affecting your decisions made,
On many of those heartfelt occasions.
And that will not for you be rare.
As long as you deeply for someone else care.

If I Ever Say I Love You It Will Be Politely

I'll never say 'I love you' to another woman.
Those words that burst first time so full, deliciously,
of joy, of gratitude at the sharing of an act of 'love'.
I don't seek, or long to hear, those same words said to me.
I don't know, have never known, I think,
their meaning.
But once said they must, at any opportunity,
be repeated until devalued to worthlessness.
'I love you', for each Christmas and every Birthday.
For Valentine's Days, 'I love you'.
For Wedding Day and First Date Day, ' I love you'.
For First Day of Joining in Mutually Consensual Sexual Intercourse,
'I love you'.
For Saturday nights, 'I love you'.
For ironed shirt or sewed on button,
for apple pie or ruined roast,
for diddums snookums burny finger,
'I love you'!
And then, when one has been angered,
or hurt, been brought to tears,
we make it right, with, 'You know I love you.'
You know I love you?
When cruelty of word or deed has cut so deep?
You know I love you?
But, if those words, withheld by truce, are never spoken once,
they are never spoken to excess.
Never spoken to where one has heard it all before.
To where one thinks the other said uncaringly,
'I love you.'
Or even worse, that it was they, themselves,
who lied with their, 'I love you.'
When those words are withheld by agreement,
by will of tender truce,
then no longer does lazy, thoughtless,
carelessness of, 'I love you',
suffice for depth of feeling, or
'You know I love you', for remorse.
For those words become the way of apathy
and, when refused to glibly uttering tongues,
must be replaced with something else.
With something, surely, more full of caring.
And, whether by a difference in glance or touch
or tone of voice or smile or kiss,
replaced with something from within.
With some thoughtful thing, perhaps,
of meaning.

Words

So many words are there in our speech,
they can be very poor, they can be rich.
No one can be indifferent to their meaning
as they are alive and express your feeling.
Spoken word is not just a sound,
it can’t be found on the ground,
it’s always in your head, sometimes in your soul.
When it is spoken it becomes a parole.
A word is an energy of your spirit,
it was presented to you by God, it’s His merit.
A word is a tool of communication,
A word is a source of information.
“A word spoken is past recalling”.
Strolling all around it can’t be found,
returned back and kept in your sack.
“The pen is mightier than the sword”,
that was told about a written word.
Words, words, words………………
They are love and seduction,
each one with a certain function.
They are wonders of sin
and songs of education.
They are salvation, temptation, affectation…
They can be an executioner,
they can be the owner of a whiner.
A word can be a treatment,
It helps when you are ill.
A kind word is better than a pill.
But…there are words that just kill.
They sound like a horrible drill.
Words, words, words…………
They are triumph and defeat,
They can be pleasant and sweet.
At the end of my message
I would like everyone to acknowledge:
Each word has a strength
and it doesn’t depend on its length.
So, think before saying a word,
as it is quite well heard even by walls,
it touches someone’s soul,
it shouldn’t be a wicked foul.
“Better the foot to slip than the tongue”.
And… there is no exception for the young.

Words spoken

Words are spoken from the depth of the soul
Sometimes these words can be so cold
Like rotten cheese turning to mold
They come from a soul that we have sold
Sometimes we sound really bold
When kind words are never told
With nothing good to say
To make someone`s day
All we do is speak words that scold
So much so our soul grows old
Speaking from emotions uncontrolled
Breaking someone`s heart
That was once made of gold
So as we grow old
May you be foretold
Don`t leave a kind word untold
For a word is spoken from the depth of our soul

Sleepless Tears

Unburden your load.

You can not show,
How you feel.
With depth and meaning.
You've got to scheme.

Those scenes scream for longing,
For you to join...
The inside of your heart,
You've blocked and locked!
And have departed.

Unburden your load.

You can not show,
Something real.
And I want that shown.
Let us togerther,
Begin to heal!

I don't want envy,
Between us here so near.
Not if my needs for you keep,
Reappearing.

And that need clearly,
Invites my sleepless tears.

Unburden your load.

You can not show,
How you feel.
With depth and meaning.
You've got to scheme.

Those scenes scream for longing.
Just to show how strong,
We were.

Working on the value of words

Working on the value of words
~
some words require more
more than being spoken
written, read or listened to
some words need feeling
given their own soul
a touch of emotion
some words fall easily
across the page
or off the tongue
like a catchphrase
meaning almost nothing
words without value
spoken to be heard
said and not listened to
or written and missed
all without feeling
give words emotion
soul, fire and life
give words value
work the next line

I Heard...

i heard...
the roar of silence,
and sat motionless
till it became a whisper.
a whisper that filled
every ounce of my being
with the electric sense
of being alive!
i drank the cup of forgiveness,
and wiped the tears
of the holy from my eyes.
i saw the human heart,
and felt its beat,
in the small child
reaching up for hope.
i prayed the prayer without words,
and found the hand in mine...
and walked beside the stranger
to the home we both desired!
i heard...
and acted!

Express Your Conundra

Breathe, call me, talk, speak, and yell
Express yourself, quit giving me hell
Whisper, hum, sing, complain
And shock me; your words will not sink in vain
Through the pipes of my ears
Tell me about it, talk to me about your fears
Teach me; inform me, converse with me
Please make my life easier and my nights easy.

You drive me crazy when you don’t express yourself
A world without words and signs is senseless
Describe the landscapes, the skies; do your best
Okay, you are free to begin your sentences with f
You can say it, express yourself, and talk to me
Mum the words, say something, anything
Use your tongue to beautify the hills and the sea
Blow me kisses in winter, summer and spring.

And never be afraid to make mistakes
Humans were born to err
And to have their situations corrected.
