No Evidence At All
You can find reasons,
To qualify or disqualify my abilities.
With the best of your changing ideals,
To appeal to a selected demographic.
However,
It is your incompetence...
I would still have to face.
And then waste 'my' time...
Correcting the mistakes,
You believe you are entitled to take credit.
And...
You have all of my background information,
And I have no evidence at all...
If you are who you say you are.
Or have a right to question my credentials.
So don't mention to me about 'your' freedom,
Of getting MY information at my expense.

Well, there's a question as to what sort of information is important in the world, what sort of information can achieve reform. And there's a lot of information. So information that organizations are spending economic effort into concealing, that's a really good signal that when the information gets out, there's a hope of it doing some good.

I think it could be the biggest information problem that we face. 'If somebody is abroad and they even mention the name of an American citizen, bang, off goes the tap, and no more information is collected.

Thanks For The Information
Thanks for the information
Never give a sucker an even break
When hes breaking through
To a new level of consciousness
There always seems to be more
Obstacles in the way
Thanks for the information I know
Its only a combat zone
Thanks for the memory,
Ill just have
To carry on on my own
Chorus:
And its wonderful and its marvelous
How we can ever make it through
Sometimes I wonder how we can ever
Make it from day to day
Thanks for the information
What you gain on the hobby horse you lose on the swing
I like mine over easy
And you can have yours sunny side up
I dont wanna quibble over insignificant details
And Ive tried every trick in the book
Thanks for the information
I know I should look before I leap
Chorus:
And its wonderful and its marvelous
How we can ever make it through
Sometimes I wonder how
We can ever make it at all
Thanks for the information
Never give a sucker an even break
And with her everything light becomes heavy
And everything heavy becomes light
They took me down to the watering hole
Because I happened to mention I was dying of thirst
Then they told me he who believes first will be later
And he who believes later will be first
Chorus:
And its wonderful etc etc....
Thanks for the information
Oh never give a sucker an even break
When youre on to something its a
Dime in a dozen people start
Coming out of the woodwork
Thanks for the invitation
I know I must be on to something big
Everytime I take two steps forward
I end up having to take three back
Chorus:
And its wonderful etc etc....
Thanks for the information
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush
Every time Im ready for a major breakthrough
I always have to think in terms of better of worse
Thanks for the information
Thanks for the memory

Incompetence
There is nothing more unattractive than incompetence
Naivety falls in the face of experience,
Ignorance is beaten by education,
Even idiocy can be overcome with patience.
But incompetence,
Incompetence is when confident blind belief meets abilities harsh reality
And we stupidly just keep on trying any way.

Inside Information
One man to the left
One man to the right
One man in the middle
One man dressed in white
One man in the east
One man from the west
One man in the middle
One man under house arrest
(step back)
Get hooked on the power
Gotta stay in the game
Be the man of the hour
Gotta make a name for yourself
And the lady waits, so patiently
She waits for the call
She knows just what you need
You need inside, information
Information at a very high price
She gives you inside, information
That can change your whole life overnight,
In a minute
One man to the left
One man to the right
One man in the middle
Caught in the broad daylight
Just a man on the street
Another face in the crowd
One man on the beat
Wants everything that hes not allowed
And the lady waits, so patiently
She waits for the call
She knows just what you need
You need inside, information
She can get it at a very high price
A little, inside, information
It can change your whole life overnight
With a little inside, information
You get money, you get power, you get it all
Yeah but that inside, information
Can leave you waiting for that hammer to fall
(let it fall)
She gets that inside, information
Information at a very high price
With that inside, information
Its danger with each roll of the dice
You want that inside, information
Take the money, take the power, take it all
Take that inside, information
But get ready cause the hammer will fall
Its gonna fall
Inside, information
Inside, information
Is she telling you straight
Is she telling you straight
Is she telling you straight

Useless Information
Sister jane has a little book
Full of autographs of useless people
Seems a waste in the time she took
And it gets me mad which makes us equal
Ooh, hundreds of people left out in the cold
Wearing the shoes that were silver and gold
Useless information
Tons of useless information
Seems to fill my head
With nowhere else to go
(isnt it amazing)
Mrs. pain at the dairy game
With the news about her operation
Will the... ever make the rain
Wash away such useless information
Chorus
Isnt it amazing
Now you can see why conversation is dying
And time is passing you by
Turn your ears to the weatherman
Saying it be colder in december
Get your boots and your....
Its been the same for years
So I remember
Chorus

Hundreds of people filling my head with useless information

The idea that information can be stored in a changing world without an overwhelming depreciation of its value is false. It is scarcely less false than the more plausible claim that after a war we may take our existing weapons, fill their barrels with information.

WHERE Is The Common Sense?
If there were degrees awarded,
For those earning diplomas in 'Incompetence'...
Few would question its existence.
It would be an established acknowledgement.
And since incompetence does exist,
WHERE is the common sense?
And at whose expense are those with degrees,
Trying to convince they now have achieved it!

Memphis, Tennessee
Long distance information
Give me memphis tennessee.
Try to find the party
Trying to get in touch with me.
She would not leave her number
But i know who placed the call.
'cos my uncle took the message
And he wrote it on the wall.
Help me, information,
Get in touch with my marie.
She's the only one who'd phone me here
From memphis tennessee.
Her home is on the south side
Just beyond the ridge,
Just a half a mile
From the mississippi bridge.
Help me, information,
More than that i cannot add.
Only that i miss her
And all the fun we had.
We were pulled apart
Because her mom would not agree.
Help me get in touch with her
In memphis tennessee.
The last time i saw marie
She was waving me goodbye,
With hurry homedrops on her cheek
That trickled from her eyes.
Marie is only six years old,
Information please.
Help me get in touch with her
In memphis tennessee.

Unrelenting Fury
There is nothing wrong,
In the overhearing of incorrect information.
That is done all the time.
However...
It is the taking of that information,
To spread and speak of it as factual...
That eventually backfires with a releasing,
Of unrelenting fury...
People find themselves unable to defend.
Or...
Know just where to begin to end it.

Things Happen For Their Reasons
Things happen for their reasons.
And there is no need to make excuses,
For the obviousness...
Of those mistakes made.
Things happen for their reasons.
And,
What is there to say...
That can excuse mistakes away.
Stop that need to medicate.
Things happen for their reasons.
Why waste time in prolonged debates.
Thing happen for their reasons.
What is the purpose for seeking escapes.
Things happen for their reasons.
Acceptance eases,
The facing of one's fate.
Things happen for their reasons.
They happen for their reasons.
Stop that need to feed on grief.
Things happen for their reasons.
Why squeeze a healing wound to bleed.
Things happen for their reasons
They happen for their reasons.
And aging doesn't make one safe.
Or offer escapades as a gateway to charade.
Things happen for their reasons.
They happen for their reasons.
Things happen for their reasons.
And there is no need to make excuses,
For the obviousness...
Of those mistakes made.
Even while one ages,
With a life reminisced played on many stages...
Try their best to gracefully accept,
Things happen for their reasons.
And those experienced,
Eventually see this.
Things happen for their reasons.
And in the living of one's life...
A discovery reveals,
Those reasons with insight.

Lost
I did not come from a place,
To have my credentials certified.
With proof I qualify to be limited.
To then sit and become upset by this.
And this may be a disappointment,
To those who believe I can be affected that way.
But I have yet to see anything cemented,
That proves restrictions are fixed to stay.
I did not come from a place,
To have my credentials certified.
With proof I qualify to be limited.
To then sob with a weeping because of it.
Limitations and restrictions,
Are for those who follow them.
As conformists accepted collectively.
To discover they have paid the cost,
With the finding of themselves bewildered.
And lost.
In a professed confessed unity.
