More Than a Delayed Comprehension

Soul searching becomes a ritual,
For one who discovers awareness.

Sometimes I question
The quest for knowledge,
And understanding.
It's never ending.

Where is this neverending quest carried?
What limitations are there?
How much wisdom can a mind unrestricted absorb?
If we are that image that God has created...
In HIS likeness,
Then THAT introduces questions like these...
Is God the Supreme Master of Hypnosis?
And if that is true,
Could this experience we call life,
Be just an elaborate and fantastic hallucination?
Created just for His sensation.
Because He could!

And anyone doubting this power today,
Has more than a delayed comprehension!
Anyone suspended in beliefs they can fly...
Do!
And find themselves smacked against concrete!

Quest

If my quest was to be the best...
I could not sit,
Until I sat in 'research' quick.
Before I grabbed a walking stick...
To adorn this climbing crusade!

I want to be dressed for the part!

If my quest was to be the best.
BS and all the rest of that nonsense,
Would be left behind...
With the ignorance that it swallows.

If my quest was to be the best.
I would need to learn how to be uncomfortable...
Sometimes.
And in my discomfort I think of what's been left behind.
And I find myself in my mind feeling at home!
Glued like a magnet to the ignorance that comforts!

If my quest was to be the best...
I would find a way to excavate this 'home'
Decorated with my heart and soul within me!
And 'that' would be the best of my quest.

Quest

What am I looking for?
What am I searching for?
What quest is this, I know not?
Where does this path lead to?
Where is my destination?
What quest is this, I know not?
Is my quest worth it?
Or is it just a pursuit for
some goal or purpose?
Or is it an exploration of
the journey called life?
Or is it a crusade for
meeting with the Lord?
What quest is this, I know not?

One's Beliefs

Beliefs aren't changed overnight,
Because of misdirection.
Beliefs are changed overnight,
When new ones are created.

Misdirection can be debated,
For reasons to entertain those who make changes.
But one's beliefs as they are...
Are only fed to keep them out of the way.
And kept faithfully attached,
For purposes to serve!
Not to discuss what are facts.

Beliefs aren't changed overnight,
Because of misdirection.
Beliefs are changed overnight,
When new ones are created.
Like one's knowledge of facts...
Depends on who is being pleased.
And for what reasons they've been directed,
To go first down on their knees,
Hoping to find their minds comforted.

And...
Beliefs,
As they are interpreted to be.
Aren't changed overnight,
Because of misdirection.
Beliefs are changed overnight,
When new ones are created.
To please and comfort the converted

Male/Female

i find it sad how men,
in their 'infinite wisdom',
throughout the centuries,
have created a male world,
driven by a male ego,
controlled by male wisdom,
under the banner of a male god,
created in the image of man!

and yet the power of creation
has always dwelled in the feminine...
wisdom, passion, eros, beauty,
and even childbirth...
men in their fear of what they
dont understand, and of what they
cant do in themselves...
have always sought to keep the female
down, regulating her to second class
status, keeping her subjugated.

look at how we've ended up! a total
disaster created by self oriented fear!
i think it's time we stepped back, and
looked at the truth!

we wouldnt be here without women...
would have very little understanding
of love and family!
that which moves and flows, creates,
and brings night after day, and day
after night, has always been the feminine...
i stand in awe of woman... can feel her
presence in both the wind and the rain...
the emancipated woman stands at the door,
both mystery and faith by her side!

Ode to the Enneagram.

The great question arrived, who am I?
Which number is my personality, is it sure or is it a tie?
For the moment I do some of all nine,
But I am sure neither is my line.

I am a child of the Universe; I have no boredom
With my present knowledge of wisdom.
My best number always leads me to progress,
Seeing all sides in constant awareness.

Progress through #1 is when I am hard working,
Focused, dedicated and measure everything.
Then I am the #2 who is flattering, responding to needs,
Keep busy doing my good deeds.

Certainly the #3 fits too as I walk away from negativity,
Feeling capable, successful, efficient, have future oriented identity.
Here comes #4 as a creative analyzer,
My artwork, poems, hobbies all shows my inner encounter.

As a #5 I see life as a series of experiences,
I analyze, absorb & enjoy the adventure, in hope to get wisdom to access.
The #6 life just gives me a little part, as I am busy,
Responsible, opinionated, & need more information accordingly.

#7 gives me the wish to question all things, optimistic & be happy,
Seeing new interest on many places to be always perfectly healthy,
The #8 is practical, knows how to overcome any obstructions,
Strong in mind and in body to face all situations.

Organized and direct in all communication,
Finished with #9, pleasant & friendly, in true peace & harmony in any condition.
I have chosen Life and never malediction,
Calling everything 'good' for my own evolution.

My life is true contentment in what I am,
Understanding others around me, to them I have a salaam.
I became the number what many will have one day,
Enjoying life, understanding all, in heaven is my highway.
That is the zero, the most perfect number, when there is no more ego,
I am doing the work of my creator, I let God, all else I let go.

Get Wisdom And Get Understanding

Get wisdom and get understanding,
For the first light at dawn is the path of the just;
And like the muse of joy in the land of peace.
Guard your mind with all diligence,
For out of it flows the springs of life!
And, deliver yourself like the deer from the hands of the hunter.

Can a man put fire in his lap and his clothing will not get burnt? !
But you are ignorant and untutored in the land of struggle;
However, wisdom was brought into being before the world was created.

Wisdom is found on the lips of those who do have understanding,
Because, from the strength of an axe comes abundant harvest!
But, a scorner searches for wisdom and does not find it.

Better a diner of vegetables where love is than,
A fattened calf eaten with hatred! !
So, get wisdom and get understanding in this life,
And like the muse of joy in the land of peace.

Meaning Of Life

What is the meaning of life
Is it to be born and then to die
To that question once again I have thought
As once again for that answer I have sought.
Just to understand just why we are here
Is it to bring joy and hopefully not a tear
to live strong each and every day
And then every night to kneel and pray.
Is it to see how far that we can go
Or how much knowledge we can place in our soul
Is it to marry and then take a husband or a wife
Or is it just simply to help others with their strife.
As I look out my window and as I do think
Life can either end or begin with just a wink
We are here and then we can be gone
And after all in the end we are all but just one.
Is it just an accident that we are born
Was it an accident that our world was formed
Are there a reason that we are here to stand
Truly I wish to that question I could just understand.
To understand our life and our being
Many have said that research is never ending
As there is no true answer just why we are here
And if there was would our hope and wonder disappear.
As I think to myself could life itself be just a test
To see how far we make it in life's quest.
Where our soul and conscience is the preacher
And then GOD himself is our Teacher.

Happiness?

Afar I found my happiness,
a place where I could be my best.
Far away from what caused my distress,
I finally conquered my life-long quest.
The quest to find pure happiness,
that was the quest that I've been blessed.
But what you ask is pure happiness? ..
Honestly, I'm not really sure..
just take a guess.

Being happy as what I see,
is something we always want to be.
But how you ask can we always be,
very happy for eternity?

In our days, this happiness,
it's something we just risk to mess.
But happiness where can we find?
I want to know.. what's on your mind?

We got all the needs but more of the wants,
sometimes we even want more pairs of pants.
Like all other things,
I think this happiness is just temporary.
All these things I've been saying,
honestly, I feel it's very contrary.

I guess this quest that I've been blessed,
hasn't really been conquered just yet..
'cause I feel a bit haggard about this quest,
I think for a while I need to take a rest.

So, all of you who also got this quest,
come, please help me, I'm in such a big mess.
Come on,
just tell me..
is it east or west..
where did you find this so called
'happiness'?

Where Is The Beginning Of Wisdom?

Fear of God
is the beginning
of Wisdom.

Where is truth
where is wisdom?

Who has
knows hears
can discern
true wisdom?

The truth
true Wisdom
is crying out

aloud in the very
street in public squares
true Wisdom keeps
giving forth its voice.

Who has wisdom
who receives wisdom
who treasures wisdom?

Who indeed
is a seeker
of the moral

benefits
of Wisdom

in contemporary
scientific
unprecedented age?

From what source
does true wisdom come?
Who gives teaches
precious wisdom freely?

Adonai the LORD
himself gives wisdom
from out of God’s

mouth come
knowledge understanding
discernment.

Who did God
promise wisdom too?

Adonai the LORD
said if you will receive
my sayings accept

my words treasure
store up my commands
within yourself?

If you will
pay attention turning
your ear to wisdom

incline apply
your heart
to understanding

discernment;

if you call out
for insight cry aloud
for understanding

if you look
keep seeking for it
as for silver

search for it
as for hidden treasure,
then you will

understand
the fear of the LORD
find the knowledge

of God.

What then
is thy reward?

Adonai holds
success in store
for the upright.

Adonai will
treasure up practical
wisdom.

Adonai is a shield
to those walking
blameless in integrity.

But sly Satan said
this is a scientific
unprecedented age

so much is not
black and white
but shades of grey

little white
lies are
needed today.

Adonai said if you
will pay attention
turning your ear to

wisdom

incline apply
your heart
to understanding

discernment;

if you call out
for insight cry aloud
for understanding

Adonai the Lord
will be your shield
observing judgement

guarding the way
of his loyal ones
Adonai the Lord

guards the course
of the just protects
all the ways of his

faithful ones.

The faithful will
understand
all righteousness.

What is right just fair
the entire course
of every good path.

Truly Satan said
how can any man
obtain such wisdom?

Adonai said Wisdom
will enter their heart
and knowledge will be

pleasant to their soul.

Adonai said “thinking
ability itself will
keep guard over you”

discernment
itself will
protect you

understanding
will guard you
such knowledge

is infinitely more
than the beginning
of Wisdom.

Fear of God
is the beginning
of Wisdom.

Life Gets Me To Wonder

(10/01/11)

Life gets me to wonder, life gets me to think
Am I losing my mind, am I on the brink.
So many questions that enter my mind every day
I think hard about one, and the rest seem to fade away.

Once I find the answer then to the next level I will go
It’s amazing - how god lets us know.
Every question and every answer is a step
That we must climb - and we’ll continue to do this
Till the end of our time.

We will always have questions - that’s why
God gave us a mind.
Knowledge is power on that I don’t deny.

But there are more questions than any of us care to admit
And when we can’t answer them - we surely catch a fit.
Questions about health, love, work, religion
Just to name a few - this list goes on
What are we supposed to do.?

Grain Of Salt

Deep sun-gaze, holes in her eyes
Water-logged theory, light to the flies
Dying relief, soon to scurry
My soul is burning, pass in a hurry

Week four is done, time to start over
Heavy glow staining, playing red-rover
Of everything I thought could be
Rolling in the sky, pouring the sea

Explain every ending of this holocaust
Genocide never had any thought
But to the one created here today
Lighting the door to a better way

Flying kite, calming wind
Picking from a tree, original sin
Driving force, kick the door in
Contemplate mercy, the could've been

Month closes, end of cycle
Failed punchline, creatures cackle
Nails dulled down to a crisp
Nothing could've amounted to all of this

Explain every ending of this holocaust
Charity never had any fault
But the one created here to day
Lighting the door to a better way

Shrouded faces, unending drama
Barren wasteland, neutered llama
Wind-carried echoes, rustling trees
Night-owl hunts, early-bird sleeps

Critic climax, the unending
Missed call, message sending
Drying supply from a fountain
Blowing wind against a toppling mountain

Explain every ending of this revival
Charity never had any call
But the one created here today
Lighting the door to a better way

The Best Of Your Imperfections

You have let the 'hue' of things,
Bedazzle your quest...
To suppress with resentment,
Those who possess color.

And you consciously continue,
To refuse to admit...
Your wish to be like the others,
Who are born with this naturalness.

Only you come into view,
To introduce conflict.
Only you can not permit,
To leave alone what exists.

You have let the 'hue' of things,
Bedazzle your quest...
To suppress with resentment,
Those who possess color.

And it's only you who insists,
That the absence of hue...
Entitles you to do as you wish,
Until destruction has dissected...
All that does not reflect,
The best of your imperfections.

So noticeable are your blemishes,
And weaknesses you refuse to accept.
So noticeable too,
Your choice to choose to allow as you do...
A defying what God has created.
To have praise bestowed just upon yourself.

You have let the 'hue' of things,
Bedazzle your quest...
To suppress with resentment,
Those who possess color.

And your wickedness done,
Will come to undo...
Your attempts to not be 'hue-man-like',
With beliefs God has your back.
And blesses your pursuits.

Is This The World We Created?

Words and music by freddie mercury and brian may
Just look at all those hungry mouths we have to feed
Take a look at all the suffering we breed
So many lonely faces scattered all around
Searching for what they need
Is this the world we created?
What did we do it for?
Is this the world we invaded
Against the law?
So it seems in the end
Is this what were all living for today?
The world that we created
You know that every day a helpless child is born
Who needs some loving care inside a happy home
Somewhere a wealthy man is sitting on his throne
Waiting for life to go by
Is this the world we created?
We made it on our own
Is this the world we devastated
Right to the bone?
If theres a God in the sky looking down
What can he think of what weve done
To the world that he created?

0212 It's just an age thing

it's just an age thing - should you be concerned?
I'll spell it out; it may just clear my mind:
that, in impatient youth, ambition burned
to have the answers to all things defined -

but not, I haste to add, from teacher's notes,
but from experiences uniquely mine:
a random, fun-filled quest to find the goal
which, when defined, would ease the ceaseless strife;

yet now, the mind's so sceptical, and all
that passed for thought, just mental indigestion;
the quest, forgotten, changed, or redefined;
what passed for answers, are now up for question:

it's braver fun, with answers thrown away
to seek the greater questions in this play.

Yes Yes

when God created love he didn't help most
when God created dogs He didn't help dogs
when God created plants that was average
when God created hate we had a standard utility
when God created me He created me
when God created the monkey He was asleep
when He created the giraffe He was drunk
when He created narcotics He was high
and when He created suicide He was low

when He created you lying in bed
He knew what He was doing
He was drunk and He was high
and He created the mountians and the sea and fire at the same time

He made some mistakes
but when He created you lying in bed
He came all over His Blessed Universe.

'Human life is a journey whose end is not in sight.
Searching, longing and questioning is in our DNA.
Who we are and
what we will become is determined
by the questions that animate us,
and by those we refuse to ask.
Your questions are your quest.
As you ask, so shall you be'

well, it boils down
to
i am here
who i am
where am i going?

and soon i shall be
actually it also depends
on what you ask me
to be

it is not just me
it is also you
and
us

for how can i be me

A Writer's Quest

My quest for the 'extended metaphor' is flowing
into the daily beat of my typical day.

Something of my day is breathing out meaning and song -
expressing and teaching me with whispers that can blare so loudly
that their silence flashes blindingly with a brilliance that shadows
the darkness and illumines the gentle curves of Truth.

My quest takes me on a journey where I can no longer lay back and watch the rising and setting of the sun, the moon, and yes, even the stars that crown a head filled with dreams and thoughts in that sable field that is beyond and within us....

Something of this day shall imprint itself in my soul and yell out invectives.... grabbing my shoulders and throttling my awareness.

My quest requires that I take on my gear and trek the unknown twists and turns, the unchartered horizons, and risk the possible heartache....
it compels me to be the sun, the moon, and yes, even the stars - traversing the vast expanse of universal experience....

Something in this day shall filter into my nights nagging and wailing, crooning and serenading - lifting my spirits with its rise and ebb.... and as I float on midnight blues and obsidian hues, I sense one thought forming:

My quest is yours, and the universality of human experience shall meld our separate yet mirrored conditions into a unified expression of what we vainly and clumsily perceive and call 'love'.

Beyond our ken for M'lady Francesca

Mans boundless curiosity
is not and will never be
satisfied sufficiently

He can’t accept the status quo
There is so much he wants to know
He is obsessed and can’t let go

He seeks for knowledge constantly
but is not wise enough to see.
There is no end there cannot be.

Compelled by curiosity
Inventing new technology
to try and solve the mystery

Of who and what and why he’s here.
But he is doomed to fail I fear.
New questions constantly appear.

The more he learns the less he knows
Although his stock of knowledge grows
His understanding of it slows.

The mind of man can’t comprehend
The quest for knowledge has no end.
We fool ourselves if we pretend.

That there is nothing else to find
and everything has been defined.
A fact to which I am resigned.

Though I’ll continue to pursue
each and every smallest clue.
I have no choice I’m compelled to.
