Milestone
I'm not ready to hit you with it just yet.
You know that one that comes...
And says what I may regret.
Like a milestone released,
But should have been kept...
Secretly swept away.
Or better left spoken.
Instead of written for display!
But I live to dare!
Challenged by my own fears,
I stare in the face.
Hoping one day to replace that with sheer joy.
But today, I must say...
I've come prepared to annoy.
Yet...
I want to do that with love!
And there is where I find the conflict!
I wish to say something significant.
To reflect a growth in my development.
But my arrogance prevents me...
To show any hints of that at all.
So I guess that leaves us both satisfied.

Today is the day I wipe my tears,
Today is the day I end all fears,
As I grab the gun the bullet flys,
I have now commited suicide,
As tears fall from the faces of family and friends,
My soul winds and bends,
Up to the heavens above,
For you I will always think of,
Your the cause of all my pain,
So don't complain,
Your love is what tore me apart,
I guess you really don't have a heart,
Love will make you die inside,
Love is the slowest form of suicide,

Inside is my mecca.
A peace that is complete!

Well I guess this is where I left my life

All That Matters Simply Come Home And Look At Us
straight in the eye
what we did, they come home and look at us
straight in the eye
feeding us morsels of guilt, and asking us again
why?
we try to look at them straight in the eye too and we justify
ourselves, with
it was a necessity, the inevitable, and all with the face of the human
being
bones and flesh and hair and skin
with balls or no balls
will just do the same: kill to save oneself, the doctrine of self-defense,
that innate self which must preserve itself
and always ready to strike
when in danger, not even running, but keeping itself
unafraid, to stand firm and tall and
unmoved,
they all come today, like her chickens, but i see them all
snakes, and scorpions, and
even fire-breathing dragons and witches and
wolves and blood sucking leeches
i do not run, i keep myself composed to all these now,
i am ready, i have prepared myself,
if they ask for reason, i give them the reasons,
if they don't and they just stare, i too must stare without blinking
i am a brave man
i am an honest man
i harmed no one
and no one harms me now.
i am at home and if they, of the past, and today, live with me,
i always have the room to spare, and some padlocks too

i stare in the mirror
streams rolling down my face
holding a razor blade ever so close
trying to figure out if this is the time to go

thinking to myslef
is this what life is suppose to be all about?
what ever happened to true love
stand by each other no matter what
i thought i found my soul mate
i chased her away with my brutal words

frown in disgust
who have i become?

regrets are seeping down my back

I grow,
I struggle,
I am not nurtured,
Nor cared for,
I learn the harsh lessons,

Autumnistic
Such a beautiful day,
For an Autumn display.
With the leaves on the trees,
Being color kissed.
And observing Summer float away,
As Fall celebrates...
A season that comes,
Creating this Autumnistic shift!
And the Sun slowly sets,
Upon this day, October 26th.
Bringing with it oranges and yellows...
With tints of browns in the mix.
To sit and witness it feels like bliss.
Knowing the holidays soon will come to visit.
