Marathon
It will be there to become exhausted,
Until the fumes of it has gone.
And I am freed of this marathon,
That holds me captive...
As if I am assisting it,
With unlimited patience.
And delighted I am,
I have been selected...
For it to use to satisfy,
This equal match.
That has been attached,
Like soul-mated lovers!

Mated
Everyone asks
Are we some kind of lovers?
Everyone asks what youre doing with me
I know this is not what they want
Theyre afraid youve been blinded
But I already know how its going to be
If anyone should ask
Say were mated
For as long as this life lasts
We are mated
Why else would you be here right now
And you know well still be here tomorrow
Nobody else understands what Im doing
Nobody else makes me act in this way
And because they cant comprehend
What we mean to each other
They wont leave you alone
So you know what to say
I hold you in my heart
cause were mated
In a very special part
We are mated
Why else would I be here right now
And you know Ill still be here tomorrow
I see things far ahead, maybe light
Maybe beautiful children
I dont have words Im thinking of
But its way beyond what they call love

A Value Attached to Match a Compensation
My total being is within.
Not without as you may suspect.
You may believe I should reflect worth.
With a value attached to match a compensation.
My total being is within.
Not without as you may suspect.
You may believe I should reflect worth.
With a value attached to match a compensation.
I am compensated.
But beyond a value you would never be able to designate.
My total being is within not without as you may suspect.
With a value attached to match a compensation.
Even I am unaware of the depth of my treasures.
As long as I know they are there...
My concerns I keep at a minimum.

As Expectations Come To Go
As expectations come to go,
Few can bet on what had been selected...
To satisfy what time has realized.
Who can look at someone,
And judge what's next?
Who knows what steps taken,
Who be the ones 'that' someone elects?
And who knows what's best for anyone to get done?
Only the one on a path that is chosen...
Can detect what to expect.
From a life lived inspired by tests.
As expectations come to go,
Few can bet on what had been selected...
To satisfy what time has realized.
And only those with their eyes wide open,
Know better than those who have their eyes closed.

Marathon Man
(eric carmen)
Twenty years with my brain in a book
Tryin to find out who I am
Endless nights and olympian dreams
Of a race I never ran
Someones callin my name
Its the crowd in the stands
Dont know how I became
What I suddenly am
Marathon man, keep a-runnin
Marathon man, keep a-runnin
Ive been searchin so long
But the answer is finally at hand
Im a marathon man
Wind is gone and my heads in a haze
But I must keep up the pace
Got to think about strategy here
If I hope to win the race
Someones callin my name
Its the crowd in the stands
Concentrate on the pain
Put my soul in command
Marathon man, keep a-runnin
Marathon man, keep a-runnin
Ive been searchin so long
But the answer is finally at hand
Im a marathon man
Wasting my youth
Chasing dreams, testing truth
Taking turns being deceived
And deceivin
Bound with a rope
Made of heroes and hope
Till I found nothin left
To believe in
Marathon man, keep a-runnin
Marathon man, keep a-runnin
Ive been searchin so long
But the answer is finally at hand
Im a marathon man

Who Else Have You Selected?
Who else will I face,
To come into my life...
My Father?
Who else have You selected?
For me to share,
As we together...
Within Your vision please.
Who else comes to teach...
Lessons taught to instill,
For me to learn?
Who will You deem to be qualified...
To ignite that spark I yearn?
Who comes to confess,
The void in my emptiness they can fulfill.
Who will that be coming not to exhaust,
My patience
To recognize from my eyes...
They have come with God given skills.
Who else will I face,
To come into my life...
My Father?
Who else have You selected?
For me to share,
As we together...
Within Your vision please.
Others have come for shortened visits.
Will You pick someone admired for Yourself?
To have me grieve upon their leaving...
As it seems You have done,
With everyone else.
To see how quickly I can heal...
With just You to turn to,
For a comforting you know appeals!
And after testing my loyalty...
Will You again,
Introduce another someone...
You will have me meet,
Just for me?
Or will You throw upon my path another test?
Just to tease to see if I love You best?
Who else have You selected?
For me to share,
As we together...
Within Your vision please?
And 'why' do You do this,
To me My Father?
Don't You believe,
I'm deserving of someone...
Not for You to scrutinize.
But a companion who is special...
To meet and satisfy our human needs.
Before You put me through another test,
Who else have You detected...
That I might select,
Just for me.

Sonnet: What Can’t I Sacrifice To Reach Heaven?
In life, I compromise so many things;
I cannot fight forever in this world;
At times, I take whatever Life just brings;
My sufferings remain in heart untold!
But sin is one thing which I must avoid;
The soul is meant to reach God’s own Abode;
A sinful man can’t satisfy the Lord;
We must therefore live by His every code.
The God of purity is truth and light;
He abhors sins and abysmal darkness;
A thousand suns can’t match His face so bright!
He wants all men freed from devils’ harness.
The grace of God is robe and soul’s haven;
What can’t I sacrifice to reach Heaven?

Attached To Traps
Attached to traps,
And a life of insignificance.
It would seem those with dreams,
Would have visions unlimited.
It would seem those with dreams,
Would not submit...
To restrictions committed!
Attached to traps,
And a life of insignificance.
Where does the flowing of imagination go,
When a child grows to learn to stop...
Wishing to be a fireman or a cop?
Or a desire to want to doctor or teach?
Or a wish to speak from pulpits,
With a sermon to preach!
It would seem those with dreams,
Would have visions unlimited.
It would seem those with dreams,
Would not submit...
To restrictions committed!
Attached to traps,
And a life of insignificance.
Attached to traps,
In a world where most...
Show their indifference.
Where does the flowing of imagination go,
When a child grows to learn to stop...
Wishing to be a fireman or a cop?
Or a desire to want to doctor or teach?
Or a wish to speak from pulpits,
With a sermon to preach!
It would seem those with dreams,
Would have visions unlimited.
It would seem those with dreams,
Would not submit...
To restrictions committed!
Attached to traps,
And submissions to addictions!

Every morning
You are faithful to your morning
Prayers and your habit of
Having coffee first
After waking up
So the room smells of coffee
Fumes wafting
Settling to
My nostrils
As I pretend sleeping
You complain somehow
That this room
No longer smells
The pungent
Odors
of lovers
Of our common
Sweat drying because
We have overslept
Because we are so exhausted
each one
unattended.

Don't Be The One To Hold Onto This Molding Done
The giving of unlimited patience,
To someone in constant complaint mode...
Grows old.
Like a balding tire that needs to be replaced.
And has run out of valuable tread.
Get real with this!
Don't wait until that tire blows.
To believe it will assist instead...
In the delivery to and from,
With you in safe passage.
Get real with this!
And slow down to examine it for what it is.
Make the necessary change and be on your way!
With a sigh of relief when you leave.
The giving of unlimited patience,
To someone in constant complaint mode...
Grows old.
Like a balding tire that needs to be replaced.
And has run out of valuable tread.
Get real with this.
Slow down to examine it for what it is.
And make the necessary changes.
Don't delay speeding away,
From that which has been corrected and fixed.
Get real with this quick.
The giving of unlimited patience,
To someone in constant complaint mode...
Grows old.
Don't be the one to hold onto this molding done!
Get real with this.
Slow down to examine it for what it is.

I Need You, I Want You
satisfy my hunger, satisfy my greed
satisfy my longing, satisfy my need
satisfy my yearning, satisfy my desire
satisfy my craving, with your hose put out my fire
Take me to paradise, take me away
Take me to heaven, every single day
Feed me with your passion, feed me with your soul
Feed me with your fruit, feed me with your control
I need you to want me, I need you to be here
I need you to control me, for you are my puppeteer
Control me with your love, control me with your mind
control me however you want. I do not mind
For I am under your spell, and whatever you want i will give
For without you i am nothing, without you i do not want to live

Continuous Is The Flowing
So vast is a Universe.
Where flights of fancy are condoned.
And taken undisturbed...
Unlimited and free of boundaries.
Free of words spoken,
To utter descriptions of what is seen...
That may come to hinder one's voyage,
With a seeking of definitions...
One will never find on lips to depict the unknown.
Only sights are observed within this majesticness.
Manifesting a peaceful and pleasing birth of a journey.
Continuous is the flowing that grows.
Only sights are observed within this majesticness.
And manifesting without a need for validation,
Is this creativity which is never at rest.
Nor is there a time capable enough...
To give to it to satisfy its completion.

Where flights of fancy are condoned.
And taken undisturbed...
Unlimited and free of boundaries.
Continuous is the flowing...
Unlimited and free of boundaries.
Continuous is the flowing...
Unlimited and free of boundaries.

Unlimited and free of boundaries.
Unlimited and free of boundaries.

The Green Thing
A joyous city of love,
I will weep bitterly for your love my sweet one;
But be patience with me to satisfy you with my love,
For the green thing was missing last night.
Be very patience with me and let me satisfy you with my love,
For i am now in your joyous city of love;
And like the windows of heaven directly opened towards us.

Patience
Patience
Some say it is a virtue,
others might see it as a sin.
Patience
Means waiting for a key to a door,
that holds treasures locked within.
Patience
Means despair at every corner,
and rejections from left to right.
So is patience,
a virtue or a sin.
I will let you decide
which category it should fall in.

Contented
I don't know why,
I am delighted you decided...
I was the one weak to defeat.
Did I unconsciously...
Prepare you to eat?
Was there something about me,
That lured you into complete delusion?
Whatever it was that made you choose me...
Will be something that will cause you to weep.
And will leave me,
Contented!
To feed and satisfy...
That evil side!
I can not deny.
Especially when I am selected...
As an easy treat!
We all have them!
Those sleeping evil demons...
Hidden within.
That's why I choose peace,
To feast!
Although I may be known,
To enjoy a bit of spice in my life...
Some decide to provide!
I admit I may take more pride...
Nibbling away,
Upon their curiosities!
To fulfill them.
Until they subside!
Afterall...
I can be charitable!
I was not one raised to be selfish!

A Chair In The Sky
Words by joni mitchell
Music by charles mingus
The rain slammed hard as bars
It caught me--by surprise
Mutts of the planet
And shook me down for alibis
Im waiting
For the keeper to release me
Debating this sentence
Biding my time
In memories
Of old friends of mine ...
In daydreams of birdland
I see my soul on fire
Burning up the bandstand
Next time
Ill be bigger!
Ill be better than ever!
Ill be happily attached
To my cold hard cash!
But now manhattan holds me
To a chair in the sky
With the bird in my ears
And boats in my eyes
Going by
There are things I wish Id done
Some friends Im gonna miss
Beautiful lovers
I never got the chance to kiss...
Daydreamin drugs the pain of living
Processions of missing
Lovers and friends
Fade in and they fade out again
In these daydreams of rebirth
I see myself in style
Raking in what Im worth
Next time
Ill be bigger!
Ill be better than ever!
Ill be resurrected royal!
Ill be rich as standard oil!
But now--manhattan holds me
To a chair in the sky
With the bird in my ears
And boats in my eyes
Going by

Sonnet: A Bit of Patience
A bit of patience works out miracles;
A bit of patience puts off arguments;
A bit of patience problems well tackles;
A bit of patience preserves monuments.
A bit of patience can avoid hatred;
A bit of patience cools one’s anger off;
A bit of patience marks well good kindred;
A bit of patience makes many to laugh.
A bit of patience keeps good friends at peace;
A bit of patience can avoid big wars;
A bit of patience can jealousy cease;
A bit of patience can avoid big scars.
A bit of patience gives good advantage;
A bit of patience is good heritage.

If 1 And 2 Were Equal
If 1 and 2 were equal
we'd have as many hearts as fists
If 1 and 2 were equal
we'd have confused shopping lists
If 1 and 2 were equal
there'd be less phone numbers to dial
If 1 and 2 were equal
noon would surely last a while
If 1 and 2 were equal
there'd be a nose under each eye
If 1 and 2 were equal
you couldn't say no to 'you and I? '
If 1 and 2 were equal
I think I'd be much more happy
'cause if 1 and 2 were equal
I would not be so lonely

You Blame Your Baby's Mama
You're one of the 'could ofs'...
With an 'if' attached.
And a 'would of'...
As a perfect match.
With a 'should of'...
And a private stash If you had 'moolah',
Packed in stacks.
Oh you're one of the 'could ofs'...
With an 'if' attached.
And a 'would of'...
As a perfect match.
With a 'should of'...
And a private stash If you had 'moolah',
Packed in stacks.
But you blame your baby's mama.
And she's tired of your drama.
Yes!
You're one of the 'could ofs'...
With an 'if' attached.
And a 'would of'...
As a perfect match.
With a 'should of'...
And a private stash If you had 'moolah',
Packed in stacks.
But you blame your baby's mama.
And she's tired of your...
DRAMA.
You're one of the 'could ofs'...
With an 'if' attached.
And a 'would of'...
As a perfect match.
With a 'should of'...
And a private stash If you had 'moolah',
Packed in stacks.
You are afflicted,
To dump on your baby's mama.
You're a kid afflicted.
Bringing her nothing,
But all of your drama.
You're afflicted,
To dump on your baby's mama.
As if she wishes,
Not a man...
But a boy of high drama.
You're one of the 'could ofs'...
With an 'if' attached.
And a 'would of'...
As a perfect match.
You're afflicted,
To dump on your baby's mama.
As if she wishes,
Not a man...
