Maintaining A Maintenance Of One's Sanity
Maintaining a maintenance of one's sanity,
Requires constant discipline.
And the benefits of rest one gets...
Not outdated 'yet' or considered obsolete.
These times we live press forward,
With lightening fast speed.
So quick some noses may even bleed.
Swift are the thoughts required to think.
Leaving decisions made,
Before clouded eyes are seen to blink.
Technology driven are electronic inventions.
And a mental nimbleness...
Is required to live a life in the midst of this.
And those believing they can live without PC's...
Will be left behind conversing with robots.
Once referred to as human beings.
Swift are the thoughts required to think.
Leaving decisions made,
Before clouded eyes are seen to blink.
Maintaining a maintenance of one's sanity,
Requires constant discipline.
And the benefits of rest one gets...
Not outdated 'yet' or considered obsolete.

Without Prior Notification
For quite a few.
And an unsuspecting many,
It is more important to sustain,
The maintenance of an image...
Than it is to welcome the times we live.
Straining with a drain on false presentations shown,
That gets less cost effective for those who do it.
With a keeping of a preference list.
And for the rest trying to digest what is going on,
To address the speed of changes...
With a leaving behind being defensive about anything,
Seems for them to be more pragmatic and meaningful...
In days where it pays to be observant,
To one's own problematic spending habits.
Increasing with each pinch of a useless penny.
Instead of attempting to make impressions.
Decisions, decisions, decisions!
Especially the ones that do not lessen,
Outstanding payments due on any bills.
For quite a few.
And an unsuspecting many,
It is more important to sustain,
The maintenance of an image...
Than it is to welcome the times we live.
And the times we live...
Will require focused attention given.
Since these days are subject to be ammended,
Without prior notification and at any moment.

Living A Lie
I can't seem to find out what I feel
Burned out dreams of others which I can steal
Take or leave this way I seem to you, it eats right through you
Ripped up parts of things I should do, I'll run around and tell you screaming
Oh I live a lie, oh I live a lie, oh why even try
I've been leaving thoughts below
Still I feel I should know
Still don't see much of me giving in
Much too strong to live outside these sins
Feeling like I'm taken lightly, think you see right through me
Words of those that still despise me, think it's eating me you're dreaming
Oh I live a lie, oh I live a lie, oh why even try
I've been leaving thoughts below
Still I feel I should know
When I seem to believe all that I've done wrong
You can take all that's right I will still move on
Taken all I can give it seems that I don't belong
Push me further from this go on
Oh I live a lie, oh I live a lie, oh why even try
I've been leaving thoughts below
Still I feel I should know

Science
Is truth for life
Watch religion fall obsolete
Science
Will be truth for life
Technology as nature
Science
Truth for life
In fortran tongue the

With wealth and prominence
Man so near perfection
Possession
Its an absence of interim
Secure no demurrer
Defense against divine
Defense against his true

Dissolved all illusion
Mystery
Destroyed with conclusion
And illusion never restored
Any modern man can see
That religion is

A Jaundiced view?
We fail because we never learn
the lessons that the past can teach.
The sound advice we choose to spurn
will place success beyond our reach
The question is what is success?
To have the latest gadgetry
Apparently the answers yes.
although they are not necessary.
Technology moves on apace.
Things soon become obsolete.
The greatest failing of our race
We are determined to compete.
Instead of working side by side
to benefit everyone.
The powers that be will still decide.
That they’ll be better on their own.
To show the rest they are the best.
Which fosters greed and selfishness.
What does it matter if the rest
are left to live in wretchedness..
Me first, me first the constant cry.
I do not care a toss for you
You cannot win if you don’t try
to stay ahead the way I do.
I will succeed at any price
and you will pay for my success.
I know that I will not think twice.
My only aim is to impress.
I choose to live in luxury
I see no reason I should not
Although you live in poverty
I will not share what I have got.
It’s human nature at its worst.
I see no signs that it will change.
Our creed has always been me first.
I do not find it to be strange.
But then I am a realist
I view the world cynically.
and not as an idealist
would like to see it be.

The Rest Might
The rest might...
Criticize.
The rest might,
Analyze the times.
But these are
Only the times to live.
And these are
Only the times to give...
'What' and 'how' we can.
The rest might...
Try to hide.
The rest might,
Cry with alibis.
But sympathies
Really do not pay.
Not even wishing
That these times go away.
Nothing,
Today will stay!
The rest might...
Close their eyes.
The rest might,
Fight themselves inside.
But even having nothing more to say...
Wont make a difference,
If all things decay...
Right before our eyes!
The rest might...
Criticize.
The rest might,
Analyze the times.
But these are
Only the times to live.
And these are
Only the times to give...
'What' and 'how' we can.
So live your life enhanced!

Uniqueness
The only life one can live best,
Is one's own.
Free of anyone's professional interpretaton.
And needless guess work,
From notes gathered.
Those wishing to uncover thoughts of others,
With an understanding of what makes them tick?
And themselves going through mental analysis?
Have not as of yet begun a thinking process.
Or satisfactorily completed step one,
Of how to make thoughtful deposits are done.
And they are the ones who insist,
Upon having things done their way.
And wasting precious time trying to locate,
Which way their way is!
While others are required to be patient.
I am so happy it was enforced upon me,
Qualities I had at the time did not quite fit in.
At an early age!
And I was free to appreciate my 'uniqueness',
Without seeking to be directed by those considered sane.

Love Toy
Doo wop bop
When it comes to boys
Mamma always said
Never let any temptation
Go to your head
Doo wop bop
Oh but its so tempting so delicious
When I kiss your lips
When I feel your fingertips
Cause ooh, you my love toy
No batteries required
Ooh youre my love toy
Wind me up and I start to move
Ooh youre my love toy
No batteries required
No, no, no Id be so ashamed
Beisdes Ive got my reputation to maintain
Must you be so darn persistent
Tryin to make me weak
bout to knock me off my feet
Ooh, you my love toy
No batteries required
Ooh youre my love toy
Wind me up and I start to move
Ooh youre my love toy
No batteries required
Doo wop bop, ooi ooi doo wop, doo wop bop
You are always on the sly
When I see you smiling
With that look in your eyes
Whispering those little secrets
You really turn me on
Doo wop bop
Makes me wanna have more fun
Ooh, you my love toy
No batteries required
Ooh youre my love toy
Wind me up and I start to move
Ooh youre my love toy
No batteries required
Ooh...que rico
Ooi ooi doo wop bop
No batteries required
Ooi ooi doo wop bop
Love toy
Ooi ooi doo wop bop
No batteries required
Ooi ooi doo wop bop

Sacred ground for friend J.T Ellison
Between green banks where flowers grow.
Swift silver streams serenely flow.
There’s no sign of pollution here
their waters flowing crystal clear.
A scene worthy of paradise
that’s guaranteed to please the eyes
of anyone invited to
come and spend an hour or two.
Here birds and beast find sanctuary
to live as they should, naturally.
Safe from all human predators.
Still prey and preyed upon of course.
Each creature has an equal chance
maintaining constant vigilance
. Some have to die so others live
only the fittest will survive.
Although this land belongs to me
I wield no real authority.
I’m subject to the self same laws
which nature can and does enforce.
The duty she has laid on me
is to maintain the secrecy
of where this peaceful haven lies
and I agree I think it wise.

Ignoble Achievement
Conflicting ideals create chaos in the mind,
on the one hand, nobility of self-discipline
and virtue of patience - I tried to acquire
these virtues when I was small - and -
Found it impossible - on the other hand,
the spontaneity of creative fun, finding
happiness in unbridled activity; how to
reconcile dreams of Biblical discipline
With spontaneity - self-discipline requires the
sacrifice of short-term advantages and lesser
goals for long-term benefits, creating a need
for wisdom to know what are these – yet
Love, unconditional acceptance of what-is, still
is the highest ideal; though subject to insight,
knowing which deeds will benefit others and
which won’t – this requires quiet reflection
Violating the rights of others in serving our loved
ones always has bad effects because the means
simply becomes the end - using ignoble means
to achieve a noble purpose quickly degrades
The achievement to the ignoble also, the saddest
effect of any human deed - and -
where does this leave me?

Either Run Or Duck
So much wanted that is wished,
Seems to come with required prerequisites.
Just to test one's desire.
Sometimes it feels as if,
There are more steps taken backward.
As that scent gets stronger to behold.
A twist of impatience glued in cement,
Angers.
Who hasn't experienced this to decide,
If it is easier to let go and be crazed?
And in these days we face,
Who would notice this as abnormal behavior?
Would you argue with anyone throwing a fit?
Either run or duck,
That would be my recommendation.
Confronting someone on a rage,
Is not conducive to a maintaining of one's health.
So much wanted that is wished,
Seems to come with required prerequisites.
Just to test one's desire.
Only until tears begin to drip does it appear,
Those locked doors begin to open.
Leaving one to wonder...
What was the significance of the attempt tried.

Nyc Man
It can only lead to trouble if you break my heart
If you accidentally crush it on the ides of march
Id prefer you were straight forward
You dont have to go through all of that
Im a new york city man, baby, and say go and that is that
New york city man, you just say go and that is that
Im a new york city man, you just say go and that is that
Its far too complicated to make up a lie
That youd have to remember and really why
I wouldnt want to be around you
If you didnt want to have me around
Im a m-a-n-n man, you blink your eyes and Ill be gone
M-a-n-n man, you blink your eyes, honey, I love you, Ill be gone
New york city man, you blink your eyes and Ill be gone
Brutus made a pretty speech but caesar was betrayed
Lady macbeth went crazy but macbeth ended slain
Ophelia and desdamona dead leaving hamlet in a play
But Im no lear with blinded eyes, say go and I am gone
The stars have shut their eyes up tight
The earth has changed its course
A kingdom sits on a black knights back
As he tries to mount a white jeweled horse
While a clock full of butterflies on the hour
Releases a thousand moths
You say leave and Ill be gone
Without any remorse
No letters faxes phones or tears
Theres a difference between bad and worse
Im a new york city man, blink your eyes and Ill be gone
New york city - man, m-a-n, you blink your eyes and Ill be gone
New york city, I love you, new york city man
New york city, how I love you, blink your eyes and Ill be gone
Just a little grain of sand
New york city, ooohhh, how I love you
New york city, baby, blink your eyes and Ill be gone
Oh, how I love you

What you made me be
Anguish for success is the life I see
I would lament, yet my passion is gone
And this, dear friends, is what you made me be
Optimistic consent was my one fee
For then I become an automaton
Anguish for success is the life I see
A Crimson pill held the new soul of me
Consumed, laden me steel hide, broken dawn
And this, dear friends, is what you made me be
Old indolent self brought down to its knee
Obsolete it was made, a useless pawn
Anguish for success is the life I see
Only once, the now meek self sighs in glee
Released from the torturous mental brawn
And this, dear friends, is what you made me be
A required evil, never to be free
My protests, therefore, from my mind well sawn
Anguish for success is the life I see
And this, dear friends, is what you made me be

We won't
We won’t follow you as your ideas are obsolete
There will be set back and rout will be complete
We will not admire and prefer it to delete
They are outdated and totally incomplete
It will not lead to result or any success
Rudderless direction and nothing to access
No bearing on present day development
Sophistication in thinking and in equipment
We can’t look back centuries old
Country might have been fertile and full of gold
Things in abundance and plenty of things openly sold
It is only tale in books as stories are told
Some disgruntled young men may continue to think
Ponder over issues and curelessly blink
No courage to face the task and simply sink
Pale faces with no sign of cheeks rose pink
It is sign of weakness and needs to be changed
With fewer efforts they want it to be arranged
There is no clash of old class or new thoughts
Neither it is war of attrition nor fruitlessly fought
Life must move on with continuous improvement
Structural changes with new ideas and movements
It is how we mix old and coupled with the new
Vigorous efforts to have constant changes and renew
There is no clash of views or war of attrition
There is not going to be a spark with ignition
It will definitely lead to some lacuna or deficiency
Something may be missing imperfect efficiency
Some threads from old coupled with new ideas
Will lead to perfection even if some drawback was
No one should term old as altogether as discard
Even new will need some shine to get a reward
Well, it is not old, new or outdated
It is how one evinces interest and remains updated
Utilization of old with new technique may create wonder
It may have to be seen how others see and ponder

The spirit of the Olympic movement is great for young people because it teaches them about the training and discipline required to compete. Even if they don't make the teams, they can rededicate their lives to the art of sport, discipline, and physical fitness.

No None Going On
What is the difference,
Of maintaining good health...
And maintenance?
When none's going on.
When none's going on.
What is the difference,
Of maintaining good health...
And maintenance?
When none's going on.
When there's none going on.
Lazy people think they're here just to eat,
What they please.
And,
Then complain about their hips and knees...
Without an exercising done!
No none going on.
No no no no,
No none going on.
What is the difference,
Of maintaining good health...
And maintenance?
When none's going on.
No no no no,
No none going on.
Hey...uh...
What is the difference,
Of maintaining good health...
And maintenance?
When there's none going on.
No no no no,
No none going on.
Lazy people think they're here just to eat,
What they please.
And,

No no no no,
No none going on.
No no no no.
What is the difference,
When none of it is going on.
No no no...
None of it is going on.
No no no no.
What is the difference,
When none of it is going on.

When The Heartache Is Over
Written by g. stack, j. reid
Once in a lifetime you find
Someone to show you the way
Someone to make your decisions
And I let you lead me astray.
Who did you think you were fooling
Said you were missing me blind
But the truth is I knew you were lying
You were using me time after time.
When the heartache is over
I know I wont be missing you (missing you)
Wont look over my shoulder
cause I know that I can live without you
Oh live without you
Oh I can live without you
Time to move on with my life now
Leaving the past all behind
I can make my own decisions
It was only a matter of time
Sometimes I look back in anger
Thinking about all the pain
But I know that Im stronger without you
And that Ill never need you again
When the heartache is over
I know I wont be missing you (missing you)
Wont look over my shoulder
cause I know that I can live without you
Oh live without you
Oh I can live without you
When the heartache is over
I know I wont be missing you
Wont look over my shoulder
cause I know that I can live without you
When the heartache is over
I know I wont be missing you (missing you)
Wont look over my shoulder
cause I know that I can live without you
Yeah I can live without you
Live without you

Idle Lives Live to Wander
Idle lives live to wander,
Under discouraged eyes...
Reset to ponder,
Why they choose fits to drift...
In a constant need.
Of wanting to please.
Idle lives live to wander,
Under discouraged eyes...
Why,
There are others who believe...
They live just to be on bended knees.
Begging freely from a 'Deity'.
In a pleading to make easier,
A way of life they accept to breathe.
Idle lives live to wander,
Under discouraged eyes...
Reset to ponder,
Why they choose fits to drift...
In a constant need.
Of wanting to please.
Idle lives live to wander,
In a constant need.
Of wanting to please.
Idle lives live to wander,
In a constant need.
Of wanting to please.
Idle lives live to wander,
In a constant need.
Of wanting to please.
In a constant need.
Of wanting to please.

A Moment in Time
A Time to live,
a time to die,
life is like a vapor
so short and swift.
A blink of an eye
and it is over
a moment in time
you were ten years old.
A moment in time, you
were living so carefree
a moment in time
now your worn out.
From childhood
to adulthood,
only a blink
of an eye.
A moment in time
thinking it would
last for all eternity, just a
vapor before your eyes.
A moment in time
as you look
at your life
of chances you had.
A moment in time
is now ending
as you lay on your
death bed and,
you wonder where
life vanished to
as you close
your eyes in death.
More is required of public officials than slogans and handshakes and press releases. More is required. We must hold ourselves strictly accountable. We must provide the people with a vision of the future.
