Lotus Notes
I sit composed.
Lotus in position.
With a disposition relaxed.
After my senses have been taxed,
By routines of a life I allow to attack!
But once I 'want' to shed...
All that noise that others attract,
From a constant rat race
I'd rather pack in a sack.
And leave it behind where it was at!
I sit in quietness...
To get myself on a silent track!
Soaking up a peace that comes to stroke...
With an ease to my body, mind and eyes!
Energized I become inside.
Receiving a comfort that invokes,
A calmness within that arrives to free.
Just for me as a mind 'massage'.
Without a single jolt to provoke.
No teasing here of a ménage à trois!
Letting it grow to enlarge.
Comes my soothing lotus notes!
Taking me over.
As I willfully acknowledge this...
And let this bliss take charge!
Without any stress as I am mentally free,
To float unburden by emotional duress!
This kind of aloneness,
Uncontested is best.

A lotus is born in muddy water
You cannot grow lotus anywhere else
A sage is born in a decadent world
Jesus never comes during any golden age
He came in an age harrowed by humbugs
A lotus has eyes
They are enamoured of the Sun

Leafy turtle green aviary tapestries
lotus bowing mantis branches
hovering meditative hugs
pherochimerical language
spoken by the wind
cloud melting mental magic
cool cavernous catalpa shade

Finding My Peace
I got to find my peace so I cut to ease the pain,
Escaping the life I'm living, escaping a life of vain,
Quieting the cries, as my eyes let free its rain,
Body becomes weak and tired, as my strength I try to gain,
I want to find my peace, some peace of any kind,
Needle penetrates my skin, but to the damage I am blind,
So high up off these drugs, so high up in my mind,
Guess I'll just keep on using, until my peace I someday find,
I need to find my peace, so I drink the stress away,
Now so intoxicated, but it's only a temporary state,
I'm in a better place, so I guess it makes it okay,
But I still haven't found my peace, so I'll try another way,
I think I've found my peace, in a place that's rather odd,
No needles, no bleeding, no cutting, just prayer for His approval nod,

Goes hand in hand
Are good medicine for the heart and mind
