Looking Forward
There is a freedom that exists,
Without the preferences of wishes.
And there are no better strides to make,
Than those that are placed one takes...
By a looking forward.
And not from side to side,
To validate the activity one does alone.

Kept Preferences
The older I get I have noticed this...
People who are mature and decisive,
And take responsibility for their actions...
Often offend those who can not be told,
What is going on right in front of their eyes.
Yet quick they are to criticize,
Someone for being negative.
And not looking on the brighter side of life.
As if to wish for it to see to ignore a reality,
That is pretended not to exist.
And the ones who are like this find excuses,
To fantasize with a faith that is hoped...
Will change the truth magically,
Into something that is delusioned to validate...
Their kept preferences.

Passenger Side
Hey, wake up, your eyes weren't open wide
For the last couple of miles you've been swerving from side to side
You're gonna make me spill my beer,
If you don't learn how to steer
Passenger side, passenger side,
I don't like riding on the passenger side
Roll another number for the road
You're the only sober person I know
Won't you let me make you a deal,
Just get behind the wheel
Passenger side, passenger side,
I don't like riding on the passenger side
Should've been the driver, could've been the one
I should've been your lover, but I hadn't seen...
Can you take me to the store, then the bank?
I've got five dollars we can put in the tank
I've got a court date coming this June
I'll be driving soon
Passenger side, passenger side,
I don't like riding on the passenger side
I don't like riding on the passenger side

On The Other Side Of The Door
If it takes one key,
To open one door...
With opportunities awaiting,
On the other side of it.
WHY would anyone choose to sit,
Ignoring what has been given...
Because they have decided,
If what is on the other side...
Would be something,
They would choose to like.
And...this is BEFORE,
Any approach was made...
By them towards the door.
If it takes one key,
To open one door...
With opportunities awaiting,
On the other side of it.
And one does not take advantage of this,
But wishes to be given clues and hints?
That key...
That opens that one door,
With opportunities awaiting?
Has been given to someone...
Looking for their ship to sail in.
Even if that ship was on the other side of the door.
'Captain?
We are still awaiting for the arrival of your chosen passenger.
Perhaps there has been a misunderstanding? '
~Do not worry about it.
We will cater to the ones who did use their keys.
We are not here to convince.
Just service.~

Refuse To Be The One With That Title
Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be one idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.
Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be one idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.
Looking ahead and keeping one's faith,
With a hold that shows one bridled.
Are the ones who never wait too late...
Until time from them has escaped.
Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.
Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be...idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.
Procrastinators are the ones to make mistakes.
And found to be...idle.
As they watch time from them fly right by...
While trying to catch up with slow strides.
Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be one idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.
Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be...idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.
Procrastinators are the ones to make mistakes.
And found to be those idle.
While trying to catch up with slow strides,
As they watch time from them fly right by.
Don't procrastinate and find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
Don't procrastinate and find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
Don't procrastinate and find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
And...
Don't procrastinate,
To find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one...
With that title.

Side By Side
Maurice white, wayne vaughn & wanda vaughn
One year ago, love was touch and go
Time made me see, solved the mystery
Taught me that love and time
Will change your mind and make it right
Bring your darkness to the light
My hearts sings in the night
My love I bring to you
With this lovin I dedicate to you
For believing in me, I will make you mine
Side by side, for love we waited
Side by side, were dedicated
Side by side, now we can make it
Side by side, we gonna shake it on down
Get down, get down , get down, get down,
Tonight
I can hardly wait, to pick you up at eight
For this rendezvous, candlelight and you
It took ma a long time, to see it clear
That love will last, for many years
Dreams can come true
So I bring my heart to you
With this lovin I dedicate to you
For believing in me, I will make you mine
Side by side, for love we waited
Side by side, were dedicated
Side by side, now we can make it
Side by side, we gonna shake it on down
Get down, get down , get down, get down,
Tonight
We finally found our sunny day
And your love lights up the way
So, I thank you today, for
You believed in me

On His Father's Side
On his mother’s side
Born in Bethlehem
On his Father’s side
No one before him
On his mother’s side
Growing and learning
On his Father’s side
All knowledge showing
On his mother’s side
Stuck in one location
On his Father’s side
Present in every nation
On his mother’s side
He was hungry
On his Father’s side
The multitudes he did feed
On his mother’s side
At Calvary he died
On his Father’s side
He was the essence of life
On his mother’s side
Buried like other men
On his Father’s side
He rose again
On his mother’s side
Human and weak
On his Father’s side
The God of eternity.

Crouchin’ On The Outside
One two three four five six seven eight hey baby you're a little too late
I'm standin' on the outside lookin' in at you on the inside
Lookin' out at me on the outside lookin' in
Through the window of my madness at a place I never been
And you say you understand just what my trouble's all about
But you're sitting on the inside playing on the win side
While I'm freezing on the outside in the what's-it-all-about side
Lookin' in at you on the inside looking out
One two three four five six seven eight hey Jim let's talk about hate
I'm walkin' on the white side lookin' 'round at you on the brown side
Lookin' back at him on the black side lookin' down
And we're mouthin' words of freedom but we don't make any sound
And we clasp our hands in brotherhood and then go wash our hands
While you're stayin' on the brown side on the go-ahead-and-put-me-down side
While I'm standin' on the white side on the got-me-way-up-tight side
Lookin' back at him on the black side lookin' back
One two three four five six seven eight hey Claude don't bother to wait
You're cruisin' on the gay side lookin' straight at me on the straight side
Lookin' way at you on the gay side lookin' straight
And you're screamin' from the rooftops bout the pleasures that won't wait
And your closet's full of queenly gowns for extra special dates
And you're campin' on the gay side on the c'mon-out-and-play side
While I'm over on the trick side on the got-to-find-a-chick side
Lookin' way at you on the gay side lookin' straight
One two four seven nine eight twelve fifteen nineteen eighteen ninety-nine twenty-four else
[ sax ]
One two three four five six seven eight hey Miss hallucinate
You're boppin' on the hip side laughin' at me on the flip side
Chasin' after you on the hip side losin' my grip
And you're walkin' on a tightrope and you're tryin' not to slip
And you say you found out where it's at and give it all a try
So you're groovin' on the hip side in the come-and-take-a-trip side
I'm movin' on the square side in the show-me-when-and-where side
Chasin' after you on the hip side lookin' high
Lookin' at you on the hip side lookin' out yeah
Lookin' at you on the flip side lookin' back

Whatever Happened To Pong?
My brother and me used to play it
Down at the bar
Taking money from guys
More used to the playing of cards
Paddle the paddle to the side to the side
To the side to the side to the paddle the paddle
Paddle the paddle the side to the side
Pong
Ball in the machine
Now virtually everyones singing
A popular song
But I still believe in
In the excellent joy of the pong
To the side to the side to the paddle the paddle
To the paddle the paddle the side to the side
To the side to the side to the paddle the paddle
Pong
Ball in the machine
Now if they take it h.g. wells
Well, Ill be on the first flight
To a time before the kong
Whatever happended to pong?
Paddle the paddle to the side to the side
To the side to the side to the paddle the paddle
Paddle the paddle the side to the side
Pong
Ball in the machine

Progress Is the Concept That Inspires Ideas
To move forward,
In thought.
Or in actual movement.
Means exactly that!
Not to discuss it,
As if to do so will get it done.
To move forward takes applied effort.
If a repeated situation,
Does not get resolved.
Because there is something,
In one's consciousness that blocks this.
Moving forward is not going to be accomplished.
To make noticeable progress.
And progress is the concept that inspires ideas.
Rarely, if ever...
Does enlightenment stirs or occurs,
To one 'enhanced' by the driven excitement of stagnation.
Unless this has been determined as a fresh activity.
And for a very few,
This may be a possibility.

Time
When I considered how my life is spent
They cry but I know that everything is heaven sent
But why do people lie when all they want is truth at their tables
The sky is looking very blue today
Its so fine Id agree with every word you say
About it it must be said it doesnt mean much at all
Time you make changes
Time youll add ages
Time is walking with you by your side
Theres no reason that we should complain
In the night everybody looks the same
Its so sad but we dont seem to be going forward at all
(time)
(time)
Time
Time you make changes
Time youll add ages
Time is walking with you by your side
Time you make changes
Time youll add ages
Time is walking with you by your side
(come on time)
Time you make changes
Time youll add ages
Time is walking with you by your side
Time gentlemen please

Traffic Jam The Sequel
Everybody has feeling
But not every time they feel the same
One side feels it’s annoying
Other side feels it’s arrogant
When they don’t realize the other feeling
What wait in front are only troubles
Everybody has feeling
Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that
One side feels it is freedom
Other side feels it is threat
They think they will lose
If they should always care about opponent’s feeling
Everybody has feeling
“I should be treated first! ”
One side crosses the path
Other side slices the road
If everybody ignores feeling
They only become trashes
Everybody has feeling
But what would happen to the world
Everybody has their own problems
Everybody has their own reasons
But not everybody has good tolerance
If the patience over …

The dark side
The dark side
is a cloud the covers your nice day
you feel so alone
I feel like I've been there before
maybe i have
The dark side
takes you away from what you love
and who you love
when you are on the dark side
no one loves you
The dark side
makes you lose your mind
when your in the dark side
you can't go back
you will have regrets
but they will never let you go back
they haunt you for everything that you done
On the dark side

Looking From Side To Side
Some take forward steps,
Just to impress.
With a looking from side to side.
Others take forward steps,
To accomplish and succeed...
What some believed they could not do.
And the ones who take forward steps,
To accomplish with the getting of something done...
Have set their sights on heights much higher.
While those who sought with a seeking to impress,
Have discovered they have set no other goals to address.
And exclaim to others they have become bored to death.
The lack of their motivation begins to shows.
Especially when their interests in just getting the attention...
Goes.

Deeper Side
Ive found a reason to dig deep down.
Theres a part of you that I aint found thats in your deeper side.
Instead of wondering what I should do,
I tried to learn a couple things about you from your deeper side.
Show me your deeper side. (show me your deeper side)
Show me your deeper side. (show me your deeper side)
Show me your deeper side. (its a mystery)
That I would give most anything to see.
Theres a lot of things that I would know
If you would let me climb into your soul and see your deeper side.
Everybody always seems so pure,
Then they show you what their heart stands for in their deeper side.
Show me your, yeah. (show me your deeper side)
Show me your deeper side. (show me your deeper side)
Show me your deeper side. (its a mystery)
I would give most anything to see.
You think the world has got your number now.
You cry about it but you know somehow its your deeper side.
I heard you wishing you were someone else
But all thats stopping you from being yourself is your deeper side.
So, show me your deeper side. (show me your deeper side)
Please, show me your deeper side. (show me your deeper side)
Oh, show me your deeper side. (its a mystery)
I would give most anything, and, I would give most anything.
You would give most anything to see.
Show me your deeper side.

Just Another Night
(ian hunter/mick ronson)
Oh no, the fuzz, all in a line
My oh my, I think Im gonna die
And its just another night
Its just another night
Got a long black face; who goes there?
All the reefer madnessput a poor kid in jail
And its just another night
Yeah, its just another night
Oh take it easy boy or its doa
Chrome on my body and a lot of folks say
That its just another night
Hey, its just another night
Oh, its just another night on the other side of life
Head ones a saw-bones and he wrecked my chair
Said howd you like to do it in a room downstairs
And its just another night
Oh, just another night
Hey now, papa joe, dont you pull my hair
All this intrigue, it gets me out of my league
And its just another night
Its just another night
His old man spent a fortune just to get him in
But baby boy growed up just as stupid as him
And its just another night
Its just another night
Its just another night on the other side of life
Just another night, hung down slow
I dont like the hotel let me go
Hells bells! give me a chance!
This rock n roller dont wanna dance
Just another night
Just another night
Well, its just another night on the other side of life
I never felt so bad; wheres my shades?
Its gonna be a long one getting crazed
A head spoutin noodles said, what do you plead?
I said you aint got to touch a man to make a man bleed
n its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night (on the other side)
Its just another night!

As They Dance
The heat rushed through her body
as she moved her body along side his
The movements were fast and breath taking
as they moved with the tempo of the music
His body bends back
as hers bends forward
His body bends forward
as hers bends back
Their bodies intertwined
as a vine on a wall
Their bodies move side to side
up and down
The music keeping the beat
as the danced
The stage lights dimmed to green
as they moved together
His hands run down her body
as she sways side to side
Her mouth open her eyes closed
his eyes on her body
He keeps his hands on her hips
as she ran her hands up his body to his face
Their lips met and their hearts raced
as the music stopped

Unrested By Many Wishes
I wish there had been an awakening,
When that first dawn came.
Like most,
I slept right through it.
Becoming inconvenienced,
By too much activity I wanted to dismiss.
Today before the Sun rises...
I await in anticipation!
Desiring...
Long after the Sun set dips,
Into the horizon.
With a deliciousness that now exists!
And here, I sit...
Unrested by many wishes.

From Hank To Hendrix
From hank to hendrix
I walked these streets with you
Here I am with this old guitar
Doin what I do.
I always expected
That you should see me through
I never believed in much
But I believed in you.
Can we get it together
Can we still stand side by side
Can we make it last
Like a musical ride?
From marilyn to madonna
I always loved your smile
Now were headed for the big divorce
California-style.
I found myself singin
Like a long-lost friend
The same thing that makes you live
Can kill you in the end.
Can we get it together
Can we still stand side by side
Can we make it last
Like a musical ride?
Sometime its distorted
Not clear to you
Sometimes the beauty of love
Just comes ringin through.
New glass in the window
New leaf on the tree
New distance between us
You and me.
Can we get it together
Can we still walk side by side
Can we make it last
Like a musical ride?
