Likability Was A Prerequisite
Likability was a prerequisite,
For anyone they chose...
To socialize with.
But there was one thing together,
They could not do to produce.
And that was the doing of 'something' to get done.
With time slipping away,
They knew they had to find someone...
To represent their interests in the getting of things done.
They together were not able to do.
They searched until they found someone they liked.
Someone who agreed with them.
Someone who enjoyed being in their company.
But...
There was one thing together,
They could not do to produce.
And...
That was the doing of something beneficial,
To do to get done!

Im but a lad, oh for Im twenty, tuned in to dreaming
Gazing at your sign, for mad men only, my poets screaming
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
Take me to the wild black seas of madness, the savage dancer
Clothe me in insanity and leave me, to find the answer
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you
I searched for you, but I cant find you

Do The Right Thing
Once you told me you were gonna love me
That it was meant to be and theres no other way
Then came someone showed you more fun
Weve had a good run better think it over
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Hes got a good line, shows you a good time
Did he change your mind guess its your move
Ill lose my pride Id even step aside
Honey you really must decide whos best for you
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
You might chose me or chose to lose me
Someday youll see the good thing you had
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing

Our Lady of Immaculate Conception!
I searched for a lady
With beauty, not external,
But of the heart,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With eyes without envy,
But glowing innocence,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With modesty, not vanity,
And heart full of piety,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With grace, not of movements,
But of the soul,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With wisdom, not knowledge,
And full of kindness,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
I searched for a lady
With virtues, not vices,
And one who’s exemplary,
And I found no one,
And still I find none!
Where can I find her?
-One without sin, not earthly,
One born immaculate:
And it was Mother Mary-
The Mother of Jesus:
She was that only one!

To produce things and to rear them, To produce, but not to take possession of them, To act, but not to rely on one's own ability, To lead them, but not to master them - This is called profound and secret virtue.
The Story Of A Search For A Poem
A man went in search of a Poem
He searched everywhere he walked
He searched inside himself
He searched inside the poems of others
He searched and searched -
And what came to him were fragments of many poems
And he thought perhaps that they themselves were the poem
But they refused to be satisfied with themselves-
So he searched for a way to put them together-
But in searching came upon more fragments
With each new fragment totally re-ordering those that had gone before-
So he thought ‘I went looking for one poem but found many
Perhaps there are only many poems’
And he began to write them down
And felt at times that he had found many poems
But always too he knew he had not found the one-
So he searched and searched again
And could not find the Poem-
He is still searching
And does not know where the poem is
Sometimes he thinks it is hidden in the many already written
But he does not have the eye to discern it the heart to feel it-
He now is surrounded by poems-
They are everywhere-
But he still cannot find the One Poem which is the Poem for him
The Poem which is his Poem and his Poem alone-
He says he is still searching and will search to the end of his days
But he is old now and soon may be too weak to search
And so the Poem he seeks the one he has longed for all his life
May never be found
Though he goes on searching still.

What basically happens is your hormones get out of whack. Because of the stress in your life your body says, 'I need more hormones.' So, your hormones are trying to produce and produce and produce, and it's even more stressful and it is this wicked cycle.

Flying Without Wings - Westlife
Everybody's looking for that something
One thing that makes it all complete
You'll find it in the strangest places
Places you never knew it could be
Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lover's eyes
Who can deny the joy it brings
When you've found that special thing
You're flying without wings
Some find it sharing every morning
Some in their solitary lives
You' ll find it in the words of others
A simple line can make you laugh or cry
You'll find it in the deepest friendship
The kind you cherish all your life
And when you know how much that means
You've found that special thing
You're flying without wings
So impossible as they may seem
You've got to fight for every dream
'Cause who's to know
Which one you let go
Would have made you complete
Well, for me it's waking up beside you
To watch the sunrise on your face
To know that I can say I love you
In any given time or place
It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
'Cause you're my special thing
I'm flying without wings
And you're the place my life begins
And you'll be where it ends
I'm flying without wings
And that's the joy you bring
I'm flying without wings!

Get On The Right Thing
All at once you get love on your mind
And your world is as kind as a penny
Oh.... and you knew it all along / you did the right thing
Believe me its true / and it can happen to you
All at once you get sound in your ears
And your cloud disappears into yellow
Well you know they were were wrong
Get on the right thing / well you knew it all along
Get on the right thing
Believe me its so / because I happen to know
Try a little love, you cant go wrong
Get on the right thing (repeat twice)
My little love you cant go wrong
Get on the right thing / get on the right thing
Get on tee right thing do / get on the right thing you
All at once we see things in our skies
And we both realize it together
Well you know they were wrong
Get on the right thing / yes you knew it all along
Get on the right thing / believe me its so
Because I happen to know / you cant go wrong
Get on the right thing, get on the right thing,
Get on the right thing / you cant go wrong get on the right thing
And try a little love / and it cant go wrong
Get on the right thing you etc.
Try a little love, you cant go wrong
Get on the right thing etc.

Doubt
1 They bade me cast the thing away,
2 They pointed to my hands all bleeding,
3 They listened not to all my pleading;
4 The thing I meant I could not say;
5 I knew that I should rue the day
6 If once I cast that thing away.
7 I grasped it firm, and bore the pain;
8 The thorny husks I stripped and scattered;
9 If I could reach its heart, what mattered
10 If other men saw not my gain,
11 Or even if I should be slain?
12 I knew the risks; I chose the pain.
13 O, had I cast that thing away,
14 I had not found what most I cherish,
15 A faith without which I should perish,--
16 The faith which, like a kernel, lay
17 Hid in the husks which on that day
18 My instinct would not throw away!

Narrow Vision
No interests do I have,
To revive useless concepts.
The time was ripe when they were fresh.
And your acceptance of them now,
Will not 'update' their effectiveness.
You chose to ignore the signs of change.
You did this because you thought I was there,
To make a name.
There to boost my own ego.
Or to produce an advancement of fame!
Guess what?
I had 'that'!
Long before you knew!
Much longer than you have been awakened.
Did you think your tired acts,
Would stop me in my tracks?
And I needed you...
For some personal dream,
That I wished with you pursued?
I am giving!
But not that sacrificial.
I've been motivated to move forward,
For too long!
And you've been there,
With your nose up in the air...
For all the wrong reasons!
Reflecting the benefits,
Of a quality of life...
Uplifting all insights.
You have totally ignored,
By your narrow vision.

Father I Never Knew
Father I Never Knew
I have searched all my life for you yet I never found you
I have called out your name but you've never answered
For the longest time, I've wonder am I just like you
It's the one thing that has haunted for the longest time
I don't know you but the thought of being like you scares me
For the longest time, I've wondered who I was
Whom I'm destined to become
I've always wondered was I to do the same things that you've done
Was I to do things I'm not proud of and not have a conscience about it
I've looked in many mens eyes wondering if it was you
Tears would fall from my eyes each time I found out my one quest still aludes me
There is a little boy whom I made a promise to long time ago
As a father to his son, I looked him in his eyes and said, 'you would never have to wonder who I am'
He would never carry the pain his father carries with not knowing you.
Any man can father a child but it takes a man to be a father

I Feel Fantastic
I feel fantastic!
How long will that last?
Until...
Well,
That I don't.
But I wont spend time,
To question or ask!
Or figure that out...
As you 'scout' about!
So don't waste yours,
Wondering in comparison.
There is nothing to compare.
Just remember this:
Stop before you start.
There will be no broken heart left here.
For you to drop...
To name as another victim tamed.
Or claimed you have trained,
To produce your wishes.
I said I feel fantastic.
Not stupid.
I didn't get to feel this way...
Without recognizing past mistakes.
To allow shallow flattery,
Consume a nonexistent ego!
Do you believe I am blind?
I have long left that kind of stupidness,
Far behind.
And that took some time...
To 'see' in my mind,
The teases you present.
Desperation...
Does not sit with me here,
In anticipation!
The only thing I'm giving up to you,
Is much gratitude!
I have found the strength...
To keep temptation you represent,
At a distance!
You have no idea,
How fantastic it is,
To know and hear...
That admitted.

Intoxicated Love
'What's love got to do with it? '
Tina?
Tina, Tina, Tina?
Anna Mae Bullock,
You are a head 'Turner'
But...
At one time...
When I thought of life,
As a hustle.
To produce pennies, nickles
And now worthless dimes.
Love,
As I knew of it then...
Was a waste of time.
And the furthest thing from my mind.
Seeking that hustle,
With hopes to muscle up respect.
What I did get was dwindling change.
And a pinch to remind me,
Of my adopted hopelessness.
Today,
I feed on it with such a greed.
I feel I must steal love.
Without guilt to please my wants and needs.
Intoxicated I find my mind,
With this stolen love.
Intoxicated love has found me,
Cleared eyed and freed of that hustle bustled.
'What's love got to do with it? '
With me?
So much I can't get enough of it.
And blessed that God has given this gift!

It Is Enjoyed
Just because some things are made to look easy,
Doesn't mean they are.
Because someone enjoys what they do...
Does not mean it is easy for them.
It is enjoyed...
And that is the difference.
There are those who do things and complain.
It may be something simple.
But still their attitudes remain the same.
And there are those who profess to 'like' something...
But the want someone to show them how it is done.
In fact...
If they can find someone to do it for them,
The need for work has been overcomed.
And yet there are those who do things just for a dollar.
That is all they do things for!
And the more money they make...
The more they profess a thing they do is enjoyed!

Searching
I'm searching for something
Something I've already found
But not knowing that I've found it
Not even sure what it is that I've found
I'm not sure it's my soul that can't find it
Or my senses that seem to block my mind
From finding what I'm searching for that
I've already found
Or is it the heart that I can't trust to help me
Find my way to this thing I have found but don't know
I've found it
Is it the barrier we all have to come across?
That we will find but never know that we have found it
Or is it my lonesome imagination
trying to play tricks on me
I guess this is just one more thing
I have to deal with today
I know I'll always be searching
for something I've already found
And it will always be searching
for me but it has already found me
I know this thing I'm searching for
has and will change my life for the better
For I hold it very dear to me but don't know I do
And it holds me dear to it but
dose not know it holds me dear
I will always be within it
It will always be within me
We are part of each other
Pieces of a puzzle
The stars in the map of stars
Two wings of a butterfly
But what could it be that I'm searching for
Dose it think about me
Dose it wonder about who I am
Is it just as confused about me
as I am about it
as we lay on the blanket under the stars silently thinking
you turn on your side put your hand around me
then say so sweetly
so passionately
I'm so glad I found you baby
I've been looking for you for a life time
I love you and always will
for you are the only thing I’ve been
searching for
