Latched onto Your Back
There is nothing on this Earth,
Waiting with a patience...
To give you time to make up your mind,
To live excusing your insecurities...
To place the blame elsewhere.
Nowhere are the signs on this Earth,
Awaiting you to awaken to recognize your priorities!
With a schedule you have given to them.
And believing I deserve your attention to call me what you please...
Is flattering in a way that betrays the life you've been given to live.
And I've said this to you before but you have ignored it!
Self reflection with an observation...
Outside of yourself that you should step,
Will do wonders for your beliefs and consciousness.
Since what others offer to you in a mindset you possess...
Has latched onto your back,
To entrap and keep you...
Along with aged values, standards and whatever else it is,
As insignificant as a yesterday that has gone and passed.

Quick Possession
Insignificant they see themselves.
And a showing of this towards life as well.
Hollow and ungrateful feelings,
Taught and perceived by those whose beliefs...
Were dictated to them in environments,
Where they represent the people living in them.
Insignificant they see themselves.
Just like their parents who felt the same way.
With similar images of obtaining success,
As a quick possession of what they can get.
With a having of that which impresses,
No matter how easy such unrealities come to be lived.
Or what the judge says before sentencing them to prison.
A mindset fixed and conditioned to be self centered,
Is a mindset that lacks other values!
And those 'standards' by which they live...
Is obtained by the entertaining of decadence.
With such a marketing done that trivializes life...
And the significance of being human.

Awaiting A Stagecoach To Pass
It seems as if,
The more aged divisive tactics used get...
The less significant are those who choose sides,
To declare their affiliations.
As each generation accepts an expanding reality,
Those holding onto conflicting beliefs...
Of a yesterday gone,
Only influence those molding with their limited myths.
There is too much to acknowledge.
With an observation that exists.
There is too much awareness,
That can not be resisted.
And those still insisting to turn back the clock,
With their values and standards,
That have long ago stopped.
Seem to frantically wish their delusions stay.
As each season comes to push...
The old ones away.
It seems as if,
The more aged divisive tactics used get...
The less significant are those who choose sides,
To declare their affiliations.
Disbelieving these times lived,
Have begun speeding away to leave them standing.
Debating to catch the next steam train at the station.
While many are awaiting a stagecoach to pass.
Or an announcement that arrives,
Delivered to be distributed...
By a mail carrier riding on the back of a horse.
'Finally you are here!
Do you know how long we've been waiting? '
~Are you all seeking employment at the carnival?
I've just left from there.
It is two miles back in that direction.~

The exiles
As an exile I live
in a country that despises me,
despises my whole nation, our language,
the colour of our skin
where the president
has opened the doors wide
to all of Africa,
and citizens from other countries
are more welcome here than us
but even if he tries
to drive me and my people
into the sea, as immigrants
right into the wide world,
like my ancestors
I have sprouted from this very earth
and there’s no other place
where I can make a living,
no other place that calls me
with the same intensity
and although work is being reserved
by the colour of skin
and my patience is running very thin
and I struggle to survive
in the situation that I am in
no highfalutin balderdash
of this country only belonging
to those who are black
is going to break my people or me
and still we trust God,
to change circumstances,
to change the mindset op people,
and if not to conquer and destroy
to make this country a place
in which all its citizens
have the opportunity
to make a living
and to be free in speech,
in dignity, in association,
in religious beliefs,
to live a life
according to your own culture and values.

Crumbs From Your Table
From the brightest star
Comes the blackest hole
You had so much to offer
Why did you offer your soul?
I was there for you baby
When you needed my help
Would you deny for others
What you demand for yourself?
Cool down mama, cool off
Cool down mama, cool off
You speak of signs and wonders
I need something other
I would believe if I was able
But I'm waiting on the crumbs from your table
You were pretty as a picture
It was all there to see
Then your face caught up with your psychology
With a mouth full of teeth
You ate all your friends
And you broke every heart thinking every heart mends
You speak of signs and wonders
But I need something other
I would believe if I was able
But I'm waiting on the crumbs from your table
Where you live should not decide
Whether you live or whether you die
Three to a bed
Sister Ann, she said
Dignity passes by
And you speak of signs and wonders
But I need something other
I would believe if I was able
I'm waiting on the crumbs from your table

Theirs to Declare
It's not just folks in Arizona.
It is a reflection of a mindset,
Trapped in disrespect.
And lofty in self perception.
Thieves do not get the connection,
That what is taken does not to one belong.
You can locate planets and give them names...
But only the creator can make claims.
And people who believe,
They rule above and over those dictates of God...
Find themselves beset by struggles.
And in their blind consciousness,
Can not see themselves...
As defects.
It's not just folks in Arizona.
It is a reflection of a mindset,
Trapped in disrespect.
And lofty in self perception.
With a certain 'class' of folks...
Believing themselves as self righteously perfect.
And deserving to label anything on Earth and beyond,
As theirs to declare.
With destruction and conflicts they initiate to carry on.
Like any incurable disease on a rampage.

Let Them Have It
As much as I have come,
To appreciate my own experiences.
There are a few avenues I have revisited,
I will admit this...
I still do not understand.
I have come to favorably 'assume',
The overwhelming majority of the people I see...
Have come to live withing this existence,
The old fashion way.
Although there are some who deny this,
And would rather debate how they 'arrived'.
And that is okay!
However...
There are those who insist,
Something about them is owed a special consideration.
And they display a stubbornness to inflict upon others.
With a sharing of this mindset all over the place.
Not only do they not get it...
With a flashing of neon signs to awaken their minds.
But they have a preference to stay in a yesterday,
To repeat familiar sufferings that come their way.
And...
With common expectations to blame someone else.
My solution to anyone wishing to maintain a happiness,
Is to let people like this do exactly what they wish!
Yes!
Unless,
They have come too close to step on any one's toes.
And then by all means,
Without making excuses or apologies...
Let they have it!
Yes.
Let them have it,
Your way.

Temporary Guests
Many believe and perceive,
Their beliefs are to keep...
Durable as if in concrete.
To stay frozen...
And remain intact.
No matter where the times are.
With a progressing to leave,
Nonbelievers in their tracks kept back.
And with unsatisfying results,
Their limited visions are insults...
To those who have run out of patience,
And empathy for those stuck...
In ruts others have given up.
To moved on with an accepting of facts.
Or wish to do so.
Without a feeling of remorse,
To sever the ties from the ones...
Who can not seem to live their lives in stages,
On this Earth.
Or can not divorce themselves from craving,
A taste for an exclusive foreverness...
Selected for a few to feed and greed.
This,
Reality...
That has a beginning which advances to an end,
Many can not accept,
Themselves as temporary guests.
But dictators to infest a manifesting of regression.
So hopeless are those with this mindset.
Seeking with a beating of their own regrets.
So hopeless are those with this mindset.
Seeking with a beating of their own regrets.
And, so hopeless are those with this mindset.
Not understanding they are here as temporary guests.
Seeking with a beating of their own regrets.
So hopeless are those with this mindset.
Seeking with a beating of their own regrets.
And, so hopeless are those with this mindset.
Not understanding they are here as temporary guests.
So hopeless are those with this mindset.

Going To Be Left To Leave
Wouldn't it be nice,
If we were not enticed by temptations.
And peace wished to exist,
Would not be marketed...
With such a high price to pay for it.
Wouldn't it be nice,
If people lived with values...
Others respected.
And did not discover them to take away.
But left them alone to appreciate.
Wouldn't it be nice,
If those differences God sees fit...
Were actually accepted,
And all who live to witness it...
Would think of themselves as blessed.
Wouldn't it be nice,
If those asleep would awaken with wishes...
To leave behind their selfish ways,
To realize there is only one Earth.
And the Earth comes first.
And no matter who 'has' or believes 'what'...
No one or that which is claimed to possess,
Stays to remain without a transition.
Everything shown is going to be left to leave,
On Earth as it is meant to be.
Right where they are...
The Sun, Moon, Earth and Stars,
Are not in conflict.
If they were...
You and I would not exist,
To make claims of ownership.

In A Windowpane
I looked into a windowpane
Last evening in a city far away
I was feelin sad and blue
I wondered then if I should really stay
Wanting someone to be with me in the light of this uncertain time
Waiting by the window for the man inside
To please make up his mind
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
I walked along the roadway to a fountain
Where lovers come to meet
A hobo walked up to me, I could tell
He didnt have enough to eat
He said, good sir you look so kind
And though the years have stripped me to the bone
It seems I am the better man
For in this place Ive never walked alone
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Where will you be, my friendly, when your
Telephone aint givin out no calls
And when the seasons come to haunt you
Will you still find springtime in the fall
And when youre on your island
Will you wave at every ship that passes by
And will you feed a hungry man
I thank you, sir,
Now Ill just say goodbye
Dont you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw

Seven Wonders
Written by stevie nicks and sandy stewart.
So long ago
Certain time
Certain place
Tyou touched my hand
All the way
All the way down to emmiline
But if our paths never cross
Well you know Im sorry but
If I live to see the seven wonders
Ill make a path to the rainbows end
Ill never live to match the beauty again
The rainbows end
So its hard to find
Someone with that kind of intensity
You touched my hand I played it cool
And you reached out your hand for me
But if our paths never cross
Well you know Im sorry but
If I live to see the seven wonders
Ill make a path to the rainbows end
Ill never live to match the beauty again
The rainbows end
So long ago
Its a certain time
Its a certain place
You touched my hand and you smiled
All the way back you held out your hand
If I hope and I pray
Ooh it might work out someday
If I live to see the seven wonders
Ill make a path to the rainbows end
Ill never live to match the beauty again
The rainbows end
If I live to see the seven wonders
Ill make a path to the rainbows end
Ill never live to match the beauty again
If I live to see the seven wonders
Ill make a path to the rainbows end
Ill never live to match the beauty again

Signs On the Horizon
Restoration of those values,
Intergrated with dusted standards...
And the fading of faith based beliefs,
Seem to have been resuscitated...
Briefly.
People take to the streets to rejoice,
Briefly.
A pride kept on hold with a retelling of greatness,
Replace malaise...
Briefly.
But there are signs on the horizon,
Coming.
With a promise to end tensions,
Wounding those stunned.
A new day comes to awaken,
With a permanence.
And not just to make a brief stay!

There Are No Minutes Kept Backed Up
There are no minutes kept backed up,
To put aside to decide to live them.
There are no minutes that can be stored as such,
For one to decide life is worth living.
There are no minutes kept backed up.
None one can say they have wrapped up.
There is no one on Earth with that much luck...
To decide when their life is worth the living.
People think they should be shown some proof,
That a life they live is worth the living.
While they isolate themselves locked up in coops,
To decide that a life they live is worth the living.
While awaiting for someone to approve what they do,
That a life given to them is worth the living.
With a choosing of every move...
Excusing some choices while others are removed.
To clarify that a life they live is worth the living.

Earth Is Not A Commodity To Waste
It is sad to see,
All of humanity being destroyed by greed.
It feels hopeless to witness,
Nature making attempts to convince Earth's inhabitants...
Without them protecting it with concern,
All life as it is known...
Will be eliminated with this one lesson to be learned:
~Ungrateful and foolish are those in conflict who believe,
They can live here on Earth to choose destruction as they please.
And still live to receive benefit.
By the fostering to maintain their sustained ignorance of it.~
Earth is not a commodity to waste as if it is easy to amputate,
What is disliked by the few who ignite division.
A thinking and feeling Earth could care less,
Who amongst those leeching to feed upon it...
Profess to be better than the rest.
It is here to endear and provide for all of its creations
And if it decides all life should end...
So be it of its own making with a choice to do to accomplish.
And yes...
Those with kept and divisive religious beliefs,
Will have nothing to do with Earth's decision.
No faked praise is going to save lives.
Earth can be a 'mother' in these situations.
With a strictness descending upon those given.
~You better recognize! ~

Age of Grace
Now is the time of God’s Favor, today dear friend, not tomorrow,
Today accept Christ as Savior, and eternally you’ll see no sorrow,
This is the day of God’s Salvation, an offer by God to everyone,
Given through God’s Revelation, Jesus Christ, His begotten Son.
Today He’ll hear you as you call; as you’re moved by His Grace,
To save you from Adam’s fall, as you seek the Light of His face.
God’s made a way, for all men, to live with Him in Heaven above,
As we stand today condemned, He saves us in the Savior’s love.
In this Age of Grace which we live, God sent His Son to all of us,
To man, with eternal life to give, to all who in Him place their trust.
And the Lord comes to live within, each and every believing heart,
As Christ saves us from all sin, to be the friend who won’t depart.
New Life Christ gives to all men, this to live anew upon this earth,
This as they are Born Again; born of God through a spiritual birth.
God sends The Spirit, as our guide, as we begin to live New Life,
The Spirit helps us to abide, in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
All that we need, we get from God, as He sustains us, every day.
God helps us on this earthly sod, to walk along life’s narrow way.
All you need to do is to believe, in the Grace from God’s Throne,
And you too, Christ will receive, as God makes you His very own.

The Best Love Yet To Get
There is one disadvantage,
In being a part of a large family.
Or inter-related like many who confess it.
There will be more than a few believing,
They are deserving of getting attention.
With a love to them individually expressed.
And those who have accepted life as it is...
Have learned to give love without attention given,
Because with them it is love they feel.
And this is what they give to others regardless.
Since God has already give them all the attention,
And this love once known is the best love yet to get.
Although some with insecurities will feel a need,
To call attention upon themselves.
For whatever those reasons...
To appease and satisfy their mental weaknesses.
Thank God the trees aren't jealous of their branches.
Or the leaves sprouting from them which are nourished.

Offerings to God
What shall I give my Maker – God,
Who formed me man, woman from clay,
And breathed life, precious into it,
To live my days on earth, all fit.
What shall I offer Almighty,
Whose special love for me, made me,
The clay vessel that’s filled to brim –
An instrument of His hand – Him!
How shall I then repay His love,
That made me human being with
A soul divine to understand
The Creator’s heart, full of love?
How can I give just gifts I got
As blessings from the Supreme One?
All things that I can offer Him
Seem silly and of less import!
There isn’t a priceless thing I have,
Except the talents, He gave me;
So, let me offer my labor,
And do my duty, God-centered.
O God of Heavens, sky and earth!
Give me the wisdom and patience
To serve You better all my life,
And join You in Eternity!

With This Kind of Mindset
If it was not for war...
Those with this kind of mindset,
Would find no reason to live.
Without offending others,
With their insecurities...
And need to spark conflicts.
What other purpose would they have?
What other pupose would they find...
To give for lives ungrateful.
With nothing else on their minds positive!
Their existence is based upon destroying peace.
Convincing themselves what others have,
Is for them to take and release.
Decresing the rights of others.
And call them enemies,
On lands they invade.
With campaigns...
They have come to protect and save.
But from who and from what?
To prove they can destruct?
These war games played today...
Are recruiting few supporters,
Who realize their wishes to live in peace...
They no longer desire to trade,
For heartbreak and suffering that never goes away.
Only to discover they have been betrayed?
Just to witness a few profit from their sorrows?
Those with a degraded consciousness...
On time borrowed.

Deserving Better
You deserve better than me
Said the Apple to the Tree
For all I do is hold you down
And then I plummet to the ground.
And then you I leave.
You deserve better then me.
You deserve better than I
Spoke the old Man to his Wife
For around you I tied such a heavy load
Now I, must live in that woe.
Then the old man softly cried.
As He stammered, you deserve better than I.
You deserve better than me
Shouted the river to the Sea
For all I do is pollute you
While I never salute you.
Then in the winter time I do freeze.
You deserve better than me.
But without you, the Sea exclaimed
I would be a pond awaiting the rain
You give me the strength that makes me roar
And you give me the power that makes me soar.
And YES, I am a mighty, mighty Sea.
But without you, there would be no me.
The old Woman smiled at Her Husband dear
Through eyes of pain, and many years
“Yes”, the load I carry it is a might load
But the load I carry, is from the load I chose.
Then the old Woman gave the old Man a hug.
For what you called woe, I call love.
I let you plummet unto the Earth
Liken the way I did before your birth
And I was protected, so my roots went deep
Then after many years I became a Tree.
And you, Deserve better than I.
Spoke the Tree, to the Apple that died.

End of Discussion
You may be the only one on Earth,
Craving the scent of your own BS.
Let me clarify my distance for you.
I am no longer trying to mend communication ties broken.
There has been too much time wasted playing hide and seek.
You wish to live life on your terms?
Fine.
But I am not going to adjust to your 'do-as-I-say'
'Not-as-I-do philosophy!
If space is going to be shared between us...
We are not just going to meet in it to just have sex,
And guesses.
Or will doubts lay smothered,
Under fear of hurting sensitive feelings.
If you can not be honest with yourself...
Don't expect me to understand!
Your growth issues and lack of acceptance,
Are not 'my' insecurities.
You may be the only one on Earth,
Craving the scent of your own BS.
I'm not in love with you to that extent.
Nor am I waiting for you to open windows,
To clear the atmosphere with fresh air!
I've made deposits of time invested in this relationship.
And I have not received the benefit of your return.
And I 'know' I had at least earned that!
Yet...
That was lacking.
When my patience with you allowed me to sit.
With an open mind as I 'then' saw fit,
Ran out of excuses.
I knew I had 'had' it.
And it was time to split!
That's why it was necessary for me to make a withdrawal.
And leaving you became an attractive exit.
With no 'cussin' or 'fussin'.
End of discussion!
