Lack of Backbone
Degrading others is part of their culture...
Part of what they believe makes them great.
Ignorance and greed is served to these vultures...
Feeding and spreading it and they are quite pleased.
Disgusting is their lack of backbone.
And their ways to undermine.
They are sliding fast in sludge
And the proof shows by their state of mind!
What cruel things they do to others...
They do and think it's fine!
Decadent are their values praise
Showing these days these fools out of step
And out of their minds with the times.

Ease That Can Not Be Dissed
So accustomed to insults,
And degrading themselves...
Giving and showing them respect,
Is a wasted deed.
Implanted within them is this mental disease.
With an ease that can not be dissed.
It has become part of their accepted environment,
To be loothed.
And that shows everywhere one goes.
Thick and stale is the atmosphere with negativity.
And believed to be culture driven.
To ignore this it is advised to keep a passport.

Lament For A Cop
Helicopters hover, searching
for the one who shot
the man who served,
who held a thin shield
between us and the chaos
of violent minds, reckless desires
born of poverty,
ignorance,
greed.
He coached our kids
showed them how
to hit three-pointers,
be safe,
live
without fear.
Fearlessly, he pursued the robbers,
slammed them to a firm
stop, and followed them
down an ally
to his death.
How can our city,
our state or country,
our culture survive
when ignorance wins
and heroes die?

Im Living My Life
Part of my life is tatoo's, penetentry rules
When running yo mouth only seperates the men from the fools
Part of my life is bullets, guns, blood, sweat and tears
This is the part of my life that I've lived for years
Part of my life is dreams, wishes, hopes, happyness
Where I could care less about the world and its current happenings
Part of my life is lies, deciet, greed, envy, and hate
Which so many leaders of our world think is great
Part of my life is all the above
Cause everyday I see sadness and very little love
Part of my life has so much love to give
But I'm catching up with death fast, from the life that I live
Part of my life is wrong nor right
But I need no sympathy, cause I'm living my life.

Suffering From The Exhaustion
Suffering from the exhaustion,
That has eliminated the feeding...
Of their own gluttonous greed,
Is not the fault of those...
Who have been hired to service,
Their needing to feast.
Or those who came to warn,
Of leaner days ahead.
Suffering from the exhaustion,
That has eliminated the feeding...
Of their own gluttonous greed,
Has been self inflicted.
With a sweetened ignorance,
All fed upon to do to choose...
A doing exactly what they pleased.
No matter who was stepped on or over.

Brink Of Extinction
Creating with a solicitation,
A lazy and undisciplined existence.
To identify a segment of one's population,
As dysfunctional.
May for those responsible,
In the implementation of this...
Boost egos.
But cost effective?
No!
Only fools feeding an isolated greed,
Would keep this as their belief.
Only a complete ignorance,
Would perceive this approach...
To be an effective reflection of greatness.
Those assigned to oppress minds,
From the time of their birth...
Would find this uplifting to their self worth.
And not an encouragement nourishing,
One to the brink of extinction.
Those assigned to oppress minds,
Of those threatening their insecurities...
Eventually will find this point of view of superiority,
A mentally degrading aspect...
Of their own growth process and not an asset.

Great Pioneer
Graham Russell)
It happened long ago
When I felt the need
For a life of my own
I dreamt of summer love
And moving high up north
But no one would go
So I walked up the hill and lay there
Imagining the day was near
I know I want to stay there
And be a great pioneer
I made a promise then
That I'd find a place
Where my world won't end
Give me a piece of land
That will be my life
That I will defend
If I work really hard
I will surely survive
I know my virtue is strong
No one could oppose a spirt
So raw to be a part of the state
To be known as a great pioneer
I keep the fires burning
To let you know I'm free
My heart will always be yearning
CHORUS
To be a part of the state
To be a part of the state
To be known as a great pioneer
And if it all should end
ANd I hear the call
From the great unknown
I'll need to go my way
Let me have my day
Let me be alone
I was dreaming here and lay there
Knowing that my time is here
I know I wanna stay there
And be a part of the state
And be a part of the state
And be known as a great pioneer

If I may say
Love comes and goes and it rarely lasts these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
It becomes more and more difficult to find a true friend these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Too often siblings fight each other for property these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Greed and desire are what many people nurture these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Moral and ethic less and less people care these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
Too many dubious actions and decisions I have seen these days
That's one of the things that makes me sad if I may say
With paper-white mind and evil thoughts astray
How much I yearn for my childhood life left behind so far away.

Until It Is Seen
Since they don't think of themselves,
As great.
Their activities produce...
Far less than great things.
What's in the mind,
People will find around them!
You know...
Seek to find,
For validation!
I grew up around some 'Dare to Be Brilliant People'.
All we had was our minds.
And early acquaintances with a can opener!
We were challenged then to use our minds...
And look our best!
These were in schools,
Before the 'Let's Move Away From 'Them' Those Negros'...
Days.
I remember too well,
When they were implemented.
Like the beginning of the ending of something.
You know...
It's like the feeling one gets,
When someone else does something stupid.
And you want to reach out...
But the 'I'm Better Than You' look is given!
So one backs off,
And does their own thing.
One backs off,
And observes the mistakes occurring.
One backs way off...
When insults begin to be thrown!
And this is condoned by the environment!
And backed by government policies.
Introduced to protect the greed of thieves.
Since they don't think of themselves,
As great.
Not face to face.
Their activities produce...
Far less than great things.
What's in the mind,
People will find around them.
To distort their existence.
With an enhanced ignorance.
Like devastation one creates.
And choosing to describe it...
In a way that it does not affect,
A reflection of their insecurities.
And wishing they could move away from them...
Like something they find disgusting!
To invent their own demise.
One accepted as more trusting.
And one that can be disguised.
But those with early acquaintances,
With a can opener...
Had been 'conditioned' to observe these events,
From distances.
And with opened eyes.
In a rejected effectiveness!
That begins to disturb.
And peel slowly away,
To expose and pain the nerves.
Of those who choose their conflicts,
To battle on fields no longer appealing.
Comes back to affect those now desperate.
Those expressing a social and mental,
Defectiveness!
And banning together to protest...
Their 'upsetness' in regret!
And in a massive state of denial.
But these days 'from' them,
They can not push away.
Like visions on a TV set!
They can turn off and go play!
Today those 'visions' are there,
To show them how they came.
And how they got that way.
And an ugliness prepares to come to sit.
And visit!
Until it is seen.

When All Things Fade To Black
Always with me
Never strays
But better seen
On bright sunny days
Always underfoot
But never in my way
And even when I step on it
It has nothing bad to say
Always used to run from it
But it was far to fast for that
Always seemed to know where I was going
Always knew where I was at
Always been a part of me
A part of me since day one
And likes to stride ahead of me
When I’m backlit by the sun
Always know the day is coming
When all things fade to black
That day…finally, it’ll walk away from me
And never even look back

Hey, Cinderella
I got the part!
I’m feeling fine!
No more for me
the Chorus line.
The hardest part
Was that audition
Wait for call backs-
That’s tradition.
I got the part!
No more must I
Dance with some
foot stomping guy.
I’ll play step mother
With such malice
I’ll wow the Prince.
I’ll play the Palace.
I got the part!
I’m feeling fine!
Now Daddy help me
Learn my lines.

Departure
So long old friend,
It has been fun
But my work here is done.
To watch you grow
And get to know
The man you have become.
Wherever you walk
And whenever you talk
Part of me is there.
And wherever I go
You too should know
That a part of you I share.
The part of you that made me laugh
Through all the memories we have.
The things that made us mad
The pain that made us cry
Yet, alas, old friend
It is time for me to say goodbye.
Now, we part in separate ways
And with others spend our latter days.
Still in your wealthy memory
Let others see that part of me;
The part of me you'll always have,
The part of me that made you laugh.
Fate has made us one somehow,
It is she who separates us now.
In time you'll see, much of you is me
Our friendship thus was true
And before I go, the world will know
How much of me is you.

A Battle Going On In Their Own Backyards
The only ones that can see what does not exist,
And prevent others from succeeding...
To accuse them of being something they insist,
Is the reason and cause for a production of failures...
Are the very same people destroying themselves,
To blame with their fingers pointed at someone else.
They will praise standards and values,
Even those with microscopes can not find.
They will undermine those who protect them,
Regardless of their self-centered states of mind.
They will paint a picture of a perfect quality of life,
Then charge a fee to get a glimpse of it in a museum.
But a reality to embrace with a facing of their mistakes,
To correct and confess them as they are as visualized...
As seen with a clarity by those eyes removed from disguises,
Is a fight between the ones deluded...
And the many who have begun to confront them with truth.
With a battle going on in their own backyards.
To validate with determination and persistent ignorance...
That fools can and will emerge victorious in their own defeat.

Always
I know that you feel like leavin
We cant seem to get along
I know you are the only one for me
My everything
You are all that a girl could wish for
I couldnt ask for more
We dont need to argue about silly things
Anymore
Remember all of the good times
Think about it for awhile
I would be incomplete without you in my life
Tell me
You cant leave
You will always be a part of me, baby
Wherever you go
You will always be a part of me
Always
Sometimes we say things we dont mean
Like we should go our separate ways
Not considering the love and time that we shared together
I be feeling like youre really afraid
To love me as I love you
Let me live inside of your love freely, yeah
Remember all of the good times
Think about it for awhile
I would be incomplete without you in my life
Tell me
You cant leave
You will always be a part of me, baby
Wherever you go
You will always be a part of me
Always
Tell me
You cant leave
You will always be a part of me, baby
Wherever you go
You will always be a part of me
Always
At night I wish upon a star
And hope that you are near, not far
And that you are loving me
Always
And when I lay me down to sleep
I pray that our love will always keep
And that you are loving me, yeah
Dont ever let me go, oh babe
Always
Without you there is no me
What am I suppose to do, tell me
Tell me
You cant leave
You will always be a part of me, baby
Wherever you go
You will always be a part of me
Always
Tell me
You cant leave
You will always be a part of me, baby
Wherever you go
You will always be a part of me
Always
Tell me
You cant leave
You will always be a part of me, baby
Wherever you go
You will always be a part of me
Always
Im sorry
Give me one night of holding you close, baby
Oh yeah (always)

I've Seen That Look On Me (A Thousand Times)
(Harlan Howard/Shirl Milete)
It's 4 a.m. and you're just gettin' in
You're first night out
I won't ask you where you've been
You're so ashamed in you're eyes
Can't beat mine
I've seen that look on me a thousand times
What makes us do the things we do
Heaven only knows
We think we've got a secret
But it always shows
I've taught you how to cheat
You're doin' fine
I've seen taht look on me a thousand times
But I sstill love you
And so I pretend and hope I never see that look again
But if I do I know the fault is mine
I've seen that look on me a thousand times
What makes us do the things we do
Heaven only knows
We think we've got a secret
But it always shows
I've taught you how to cheat
You're doin' fine
I've seen taht look on me a thousand times
I've seen that look on me a thousand times

Because I Am The Giver Then I Am Inexhaustible
i have been thinking about greed
your greed with specifics
the details crop in cramped inside these craniums
and i am honestly
disturbed but i shall not let this matter
unmake me
i won't allow this to infect the flesh that you are eating
i shall be strong
and be willing to part with everything i have
all for you
and when every part of me is consumed
every ear, eye and even the mind
my heart reduced to nothing
not even shreds of paper
then you must leave
and you shall part with all satisfaction that
finally
you have taken everything from me
and i shall ponder on this
why did i allow this nothingness in me?
why did i allow you to rob me of my being?
shall i tell myself
because i have loved you much
even if i know that there is something messy in you
your greed
and avarice and selfishness?
it does not matter
i am the giver and i am always inexhaustible.

There In Abundance
Why is there an economic failure?
People instilled with capitalistic beliefs,
Accepting success as materialness!
And schemes that variety is the spice of life...
Keeps many dreaming for 'things',
And despising the lack of it...
Because they feel cheated out of rights!
Why is there an economic failure?
Of course there is greed and gluttony.
Deceit and thievery.
Cheating and backstabbing with a hoarding done.
No one wants to feel left out or unwelcomed.
Pretensions with a presence,
Develops a mindset one wishes to be pleased.
That's why people are in hock...
With a country on its knees!
'Well...
If you're so successful,
Why do you live in the ghetto?
Why don't you drive a fancy car?
Why aren't you living,
Amongst the 'stars'?
Why do I see you on a bus?
You aint 'all that'!
You just one of us!
If you were 'really' successful...
You'd have 'things',
And I wouldn't hear you cuss! '
I have peace of mind,
I carry with me most times!
But it is folks like you,
Who don't enjoy yourself or your life like I do!
I feel blessed.
And not ungrateful like the rest.
I am happy with 'myself'.
And that seems to bother you!
Why are you making yourself my pest?
I'm not seeking your acceptance.
Nor your 'visions' for me,
What determines 'my' success!
When you don't see me I am at home...
With a mind that is totally at rest!
'I don't believe that! '
Maybe not!
But I am not trying to hang on...
To what I've got!
It is there in abundance.
Do you care to share with me an 'Amen'?
Or are your values like the others...
Whose minds have gone out to lunch!
Hmmm?

Gold Turned Into Dirt
Swallow a hot meal for one last time.
For you don't know when you'll have your next.
Generations so accustom to having things handed to them.
Not understanding the realties of limitations.
What was their has now become barren.
Is a luxury worth a wasteland?
As wall street shows gold made into dirt never works.
A bet against those who become the losers.
A profit is to be made upon the starvation of entire families.
Will that be where this greed eventually leads?
Who will be sympathetic to those who take with out ever giving back?
Lie, cheat, steal, to your way to the top.
Then when rungs on the latter start to break you want blame everyone but yourself.
An exposure of the top shelf.
Picture so deafening but yet nothing is done to change it.
A threat to the human way of life.
But it's okay because it has yet to effect me.
Like a car or truck under maintained wait in till something breaks and it will have to paid.
A debt unclaimed is definitely a dangerous game.
Like musical chairs who knows where this will end up.
On top of the shoulders of those who ignored this as undeserving as they may be.
Fairness upon the lady liberty.
Freedoms of the ignorant need not be as some would like to see it.
If a fool is willing to take it, then what harm could it really do.
A open invitation victimize as many as you can.
It is not like anyone actually takes a stand.
Not till now.
As occupation it makes me proud.
Yet still for the most part it is still covered in shroud.
For if it don't exist they think it might just go away.
A cloud upon sun shiny days.
A shadow that hopefully marks the ending something not so great.
The lack of coverage is definitely not something to celebrate.
For it is all but a disgrace to our name as a country.
Motto's long of the past.
No values steadfast.
And still I hope and pray the stand being made lasts.

What Are They Thinking?
What is behind all their thought; what does that thought conceive?
And what by it shall be wrought, in minds of all who don’t believe?
Just what is in the mind of those, who disregard all they’ve heard?
About the One who died and rose, according to God’s Holy Word.
They say that they believe in God, but give the Lord very little time,
As they live upon the earthly sod, speaking little on things sublime.
Some even say that we annoy, others, when we speak of The Lord,
Showing instead a lack of joy; just proof we are not of one accord.
How do they live without fear, of our Holy God’s Righteous Wrath?
Not knowing His return’s so near, as they walk on the broader path.
They say their belief is personal, and not to be shared with anyone,
But, how would we then fulfill, The Commission given by The Son?
Just what is it that stirs the heart, of those who walk this life alone?
Men never having been a part, of the family that God calls His own.
Truly in the dark of what’s to be, when life on earth’s said and done,
Not knowing their Eternal Destiny, for they do not know God’s Son.
What will go through their mind, as we’re snatched into the clouds?
Of all those who are left behind, left on this earth in darker crowds.
Will it be then when they cry to Him, looking for our Savior’s Light?
From a darkness filled with sin, to be saved from the eternal night.

Forgive Them
Forgive them for their ignorance since ignorance is bliss
What empathy is all about the point they seem to miss
Their great lack in compassion does not seem a surprise
Since not that many people know how to empathize
With people who are doing it tough they do not wish to know
Of the have nots of the poor streets of poverty and woe
Cocooned in their self centredness they do not wish to hear
Of the poverty that does exist even to where they live near
Forgive them for their ignorance they cannot help the way they are
They drive around the leafy Suburb showing off their brand new car
To the material things of life they only can relate
Only their own and their family successes they wish to celebrate
Forgive them for their ignorance some people are that way
And their type are growing in numbers that does seem sad to say.
