Just Another Useless Gift Given
Everyone is born with a gift.
But not too many realize,
Having a gift without initiative...
Motivation and drive,
With discipline and sacrifice...
To see that gift thrive to heights,
Is just another useless gift given...
One takes for granted.

A Gift From Me To You
I am sending you all
a gift for Christmas.
The gift isn’t big at all,
but when it blossoms,
it is the biggest gift of all.
It comes with love and hugs
that are just for you to keep
for a rainy day
to chase the blues away.
You won’t see the gift
as it is invisible to see,
but you will know its there
and everyone will see.
You see the gift
I am giving you for Christmas
is something from the heart.
It is too big
to fit in any box.
The gift is the gift of friendship,
the most precious treasure
I can give,
it comes from a loving heart
for as long as I may live.
So please accept my gift
as it comes from me to you.

The Gift You Are
This song appears on four albums, and was first released on the flower that shattered the stone album, and has also been released on the stonehaven sunrise, the gift you are and the john denver
Ction - annies song albums.
Imagine a month of sundays
Each one a cloudy day
Imagine the moment the sun came shining through
Imagine that ray of sunshine as you
Remember your darkest hour
With dawn still far away
Remember the way that you longed for mornings light
And think of yourself as a candle in the night
Make believe this is the first day
Everything all brand new
Make believe that the sun is your own lucky star
And then understand the kind of gift you are
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of spring
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true
The gift you are
The gift of you
You are the promise of all the ages
You are the prodigal son
You are the vision of prophets and sages
You are the only one
Dream of a bright tomorrow
Know that your dream will come true
Carry your dream in a sparkling crystal jar
Then you will know the kind of gift you are
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of spring
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true
The gift you are
The gift of you
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of springtime
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true - yes they do
The gift you are
The gift of you
The gift you are
The gift of you

A Gift Of Love
Here in this sighlent night
Now all the world is right
As if we'sundenley been giving
A gift of love
A gift of love
Warm as the fire glow
Soft as the falling snow
A pre..... micael we live in
This wonder of a gift of love

At this coldest time of the year

Sharing The Ultimate Gift
I want to share a special gift with you that God has given to me,
This gift like most others that you will receive is absolutely free.
However unlike other gifts that you may have received in the past,
This special gift and this one alone through all eternity will last.
Although you can't see this gift, it's the greatest you can receive,
This gift is not in a box, but in the heart of all those who believe.
And even though this gift is one of a kind and very special indeed,
You'll surely want to give this gift away as soon as it is received.
Don't be concerned about giving away something you didn't use,
For God said “Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.”
This gift will surprise you on the day you decide to give it away,
You won't feel any loss at all with more to give the following day.
My friend you will be Eternally Grateful when you finally choose,
To truly embrace but give away this gift that you can never lose.
By now you know this gift is none other than Jesus Christ the Lord,
And your faithful sharing of this gift, by Him, will not be ignored.
For our Great Blessed Hope, who through the ages many have adored,
At His return will bring to all His faithful, an Everlasting Reward.
So the next gift you receive and think you'll treasure forevermore,
Remember that the only truly lasting gift is Jesus Christ The Lord.

The Greatest Gift
When Christmas shopping is done,
wrapped gifts lie ‘neith a tree
sparkling bright with tinsel and light
for everyone to see.
Each gift has been selected
with thoughtfulness and care.
Toys and such will mean so much
like all the gifts we bear.
But let us keep within our heart
the much greater gift than these.
One from above, with God's great love
should bring us to our knees.
A gift of birth to all on Earth.
A gift that's far from small.
To everyone, He gave His Son…
The greatest gift of all.

What A Gift
What a Christmas present for us, all who in Christ have their trust,
What a gift for both you and me, to be transported up to eternity,
When in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be lifted up into the sky,
Up in the clouds, to see our Lord, to see the Gift we long adored.
Far from the gift under the tree, wrapped for passing eyes to see,
It is that One Gift provided by, The Lord God, who reigns on high,
And it was He, who paid the cost, when we were all spiritually lost,
That Gift too, was His sacrifice, paying for sinners, sin’s full price.
All we had to do was to accept, His Gift, that cancels all our debt,
When we simply accept by faith, His Gift available to all by Grace,
For sin’s price, we couldn’t pay, so God, provided for man a way,
Through The Gift of His Son, which today is available to everyone.
Sin’s debt we all have incurred, by living opposed to God’s Word,
While living out this life in sin, as God’s enemy, indifferent to Him,
Separated from The Lord above, yet, He was moved by His Love,
To send all men God’s Gift of Life, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
He is The Gift that we long for, to be in His presence forevermore,
The tree with tinsel we won’t miss, when we enter into eternal bliss,
As we’re snatched into the clouds, to meet Christ, in Holy Crowds,
To see our Savior face to face, God’s only Gift wrapped in Grace.
A Gift Of Love
When you were born
There in your mother's arms
An angel told me always you will be
A gift of love from God to me
Though your road is long
I'll be right by your side
Through changes you'll see always you will be
A gift of love from God to me
Love took flight the day you came into my life
There is magic in the way I feel
Hearts opened wide gazing into your eyes
I'll be there for you
As long as I am alive
I have never loved
More than I love you
A gift for free always you will be
A gift of love from God to me

The gift of Love
There is a present inside of me.
As you look in my eyes,
it is evident to see.
It's the light, the gift of Love,
the Creator of heaven and earth has given unto
me.
This wonderful gift is wrapped with empathy,
and it's fragrance is as sweet, as can be.
It is my motivation, the most vital key.
It transcends time, unto all eternity.
It's the only true way, one can live totally free,
to treat others kindly,
reagardless of how they have once treated thee.
Love is a gift to all humanity

Death - The Gift of Life
There’s nothing certain but death
Nor beyond nor before
We are born and live to die
Death the only gift of life
We fret; make noise, shout and cry
We skid from hills to valley and back
Get torn among home, work and friends
There’s nothing certain but death
Death the only gift of life
We fight, we scream, we spurn
We step on each others’ toe
All to achieve and amass
There’s nothing certain but death
Death the only gift of life
Walk we straight with pride
Look we people in the eye
Seldom do we stop and stoop
There’s nothing certain but death
Death the only gift of life
We make friends, yet sly
Break hearts and water eyes
Too proud to bend or mend
There’s nothing certain but death
Death the only gift of life
Each death promise another
Our last breath gives forth life
To another birth to die again
There’s nothing certain but death
Death the only gift of life
Never can we live past in life
In death we reach the very start
From grains we come, to grains we go
There’s nothing certain but death
Death the only gift of life

The Gift From God
The greatest gift to all the world, was from God for man to herald,
His Gift came in Incarnate Deity; The Word was flesh for all to see,
It was God’s Son, Christ Jesus, who was given by Him to all of us,
The Gift of Salvation given to all, to redeem man from Adam’s fall.
The Gift, who was the Great I AM, born a baby, to be God’s Lamb,
Coming to pay the ultimate price, as a baby to become a sacrifice,
As a man, Christ was put on a path, to receive for us, eternal wrath,
Upon a cross, at Mount Calvary, to bring Salvation, to you and me.
The Gift was sent through Israel, as He came to do His Father’s will,
By The Father, He was sent to them, in that little town of Bethlehem,
To the House of Bread He was to be, Bread of Life for you and me,
From above came The Bread of Life, God’s Only Son, Jesus Christ.
Well pleasing in the eyes of God, to shepherd us with staff and rod,
Leading hearts of men from Calvary, to New Life with God Eternally,
New life that begins on the earth, born from above, by second birth,
A spiritual birth provided by Grace, when His Gift you truly embrace.
He saves His people from their sin, and in our hearts, He lives within,
As Emmanuel, now God is with us, through the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
From the very moment we believed, and the Gift of God we received,
With His Spirit as our guarantee, we’ll live with Christ through Eternity.

Shine On
The greatest gift, the gift of life
The gift of love divine
God gave us all a special gift
He meant for it to shine
He meant for it to shine
The darkest night can be made light
By one bright word or smile
If wed put on our neighbors shoes
And choose to walk a mile
God gave us all our own free will
To choose the paths we take
No greater deed could eer be done
Than for anothers sake
The greatest gift, the gift of life
The gift of love divine
God gave us all a special gift
He meant for it to shine
He meant for it to shine
Shine on, shine on, for all to see
Gods light inside your soul
Shine on, shine on, let love flow free
Warm others in its glow
Shine on, shine on, shine on
So hide it not or it will fade
Shine on, shine on, shine on
Shine on, shine on, shine on
The greatest gift, the gift of life
The gift of love divine
God gave us all a special gift
He meant for it to shine
Shine on, shine on, shine on

God's Gift To Man
God's gift to man
is sunshine bright.
God's gift to man
is dark of night.
God's gift to all
are leaves that fall.
God's gift to all
are trees so tall.
Observe all this
and rightly know
that even in the flakes of snow
through all these things
God's breath does blow.
Breathe in His breath
that comes to you
and feel the tingle
of nature's view.
His gifts are yours
to always keep.
They allow you rest
and peaceful sleep.

Christmas At Its Best
To know Christmas at its best, you must come to Christ and rest,
Far from that weary holiday time, into that Light, which is sublime,
For a real meaning to this season, one with a true spiritual reason,
Beyond the songs this world sings, to The Lord of Eternal Things.
Away from all that holiday rush, God brings upon the soul a hush,
Quieting both the heart and mind, to find that gift of another kind,
This really is that special gift, not gained by one’s shopping thrift,
The Gift provided by God’s Grace, one in which you gain by faith.
Men only need to rest and pause, ignoring trees and Santa Claus,
Looking for the deeper meaning, as they seek a spiritual gleaning,
From the unmatched Gift of love, presented by The Father above,
As He presented to men His Son, the Gift from God for everyone.
The Gift of God’s Son Jesus Christ, truly changes a receiver’s life,
Unlike any other gift on this earth, Christ gives to one a New Birth,
Born Again of The Spirit of God, while present on this earthly sod,
Born from above into God’s Family, not for a season but eternally.
Not only does God offer us rest, but, the Gift of Christ is the best,
His Gift, not available in a store, offers the receiver so much more,
Unlike all gifts from seasons past, the Lord’s Gift will eternally last,
For when in Christ you do believe, eternal life with Him you receive.

One That Was Not Sought
A gift is given...
Without an ego displayed,
By the giver attached.
The receiver of the gift...
Believing there to be more,
To this giving...
Than something as simple,
As that!
And...
The gift given is given back.
With sarcastic remarks...
And other unnecessary verbal attacks.
The giver of the gift,
Although offended by this...
Keeps a head straight on shoulders.
And makes only forward steps.
With a lesson learned...
And not a temper to display,
The gift giver never shows a disappointment.
Or has a thing to say.
Knowing that a wisdom,
Came as a surprise lesson taught.
From a teacher in disguise.
And from one that was not sought.

The Finest Gift
verse one
She can shop all over town, turn the gift
Shops upside down
Finding something for her man with everything
But it's right behind her eyes and no matter what she buys
She'll always be the finest gift she brings
Chorus
Every year it's never missed, should be at
The top of every list
It can never be outdone,it's the perfect
Gift for everyone
Verse two
It's in everything you'll see scattered
Underneath our tree
You can hear it in the carols that we sing
It's the heart of love's design and it
Appreciates with time
And she'll always be the finest gift she brings
(repeat chorus)
Verse three
Now it's not in any store and she could
Never give me more
Then her promise of the finest gift she brings
I know her love's the finest gift she brings

Writing is an extreme privilege but it's also a gift. It's a gift to yourself and it's a gift of giving a story to someone.
The Mystery Gift
I once received a exquisite mystery gift,
Which gave my mood, that day, quite a lift.
Inside, was some chocolate covered fruit,
Bought from a chocolatiers of high repute.
With the mysterious gift, I was totally thrilled,
But with wonderment, my mind was then filled.
I was taken aback by the gift, which had been sent,
And, on finding out who purchased it, I was intent.
I wanted to find out who had been this kind,
But, at the shop, no name had been left behind.
While I was there, I sneakily checked out the price,
And was amazed that someone had been that nice!
To whoever sent me the gift, I’d like to say ‘thank you’,
As it really was a very kind and thoughtful thing to do.
Which kind person sent that lovely gift my way,
I, still, am not aware of, even to this very day.
