Isn't That One Time Sufficient?

People do not express enough concern...
They 'say' they have for others.
Not directly.
Not to the ones they claim those feelings are aimed.
Nor in the way perceived,
By those believed to be on the receiving end.

They hear about it when it is discussed,
Through gossip.
As most 'important' issues affecting people's lives,
Are learned with embellished innuendos.
Through gossip!
It is part of the territory referred to as 'existence'.
To escape from it is to die!
Try it.
Even 'then' people victimize.

People love to complicate their daily lives,
With assumptions, reactions and apologies.

I am guilty myself for having high expectations.
Expecting others to detect my eye contact,
As an expression of my deep felt concern.
With a meaning extended that 'should' be comprehended.
You know...
If I said hello that automatically connects,
To something warm and fuzzy concealed...
Within the best of my hidden intentions.
To show that complicates emotions.
And 'emoting' is one of my least favorite things to do!

Or if I should nod in their direction,
When crossing the street without speaking...
I hope my need to have a full conversation,
Is the first thing that is noticed...
Especially,
By the way I acknowlege their presence in public.
My nods given are better than other nods I've witnessed.
Although a close body hug is what I would rather do!
But time and the setting does not permit it!
And I've already expressed my feelings about emoting.

I'm sure all of my motivations are correctly understood.
And my intentions need not to be verbalized all the time.
Isn't once enough?
Isn't that one time in meaningful exchange sufficient?

I mean,
If it's not just let me know!
I ain't got no problem with it!

Many Are The People

I see a tree.
But knowing what it goes through,
On a daily basis to be a tree...
I can't say I know.
Therefore,
A knowing about it...
I can not prove or show.

I see squirrels, birds, cats and dogs,
On a daily basis...
To be what is perceived are animals.
Are they more or less intelligent than you,
Or me?
I can not claim to know this.
None have I met to chat with personally.

And that applies to people.
Many are the people with different ethnicities.
Many are their languages spoken,
And only fluent am I in one of these.
With a labelling by races and religious philosophies.
But can I claim to know them?
Not really. That would be too presumptuous of me.

But there are those who claim to know,
What is unseen.
They claim to know what others do,
Without having them on the scene.
Walk down any street anywhere and hear folks say,
Something about someone else to belittle and demean.
And not know one thing about them but they do it anyway.

Many are the people who would have others believe,
They know everything about someone else...
Including their history.
And these very same people are the reason why,
There is confusion and chaos in other people's lives...
From an ignorance known that shows.
And that fact should be prioritized as an agenda to realize.

Who Keep What I Feel Felt Real

As described by those who are now mired,
In dire straits.
I am sure the pain felt is real.
I felt the same way about my own.
And when I healed,
With the understanding how that was done...
Those now with long faces,
Were nowhere to be traced.

Most of them were racing...
From mall to mall.
With shopping as the agenda.

And with those expressed feelings,
From a few to show me I was still someone...
In their hearts and minds.
I realized this...
They are the kinds of people in my life I prioritize.
They are the kinds of people in my life,
Who keep what I feel felt real and me alive inside.
At the top of my list they are.
They are the kind of people I need not think twice,
To shower with my full respect.

The rest?
I wish them all the best.
They are not of my concern.
What has been earned...
Has already been issued, valued and satisfied.
No masquerades, charades or disguises needed.
What has been earned...
Has already been issued, valued and satisfied.
And with that between us known...
Apologies expressed are few and limited.

Short Term Gossip And The Gossip Hounds

Are people really so bored
with their own lives
especially in small rural towns
that other people's lives
must become common
run away gossip oh so much
more interesting than
theirs own off limits lives?

Nosy people are basically
exactly that just nosy
nosy people need
little provocation
little scent incentive
bait bloodhound
encouragement
to engage actively in
their favourite pass time.

But secretly
most people
are short term gossip
really they do not
care that much
most people
are rapid ready
to move on to
choice fresh gossip.

Thus it does not
leave many gossips
too worry about
the real blooded hound
an aristocratic sleuth
has a nose for trouble
prepared ever ready
to dig into choice dirt.

These specimens
of active inquiry
may be bothersome
when out about
on preferred case
when their nose
is out of joint
two strains truth
black and white
may be spiced
with imaginative
shades of grey.

You Know the Ones

Aren't you tired of the folks who pass judgement?
You know the ones...
Quick to tell you how you should live
Always taking handouts from those they take for granted,
Criticizing the people who take their time to give.

Aren't you sick of those who waste your time to gossip?
You know the ones,
Glued to phones like weapons,
To add fresh lies to what they've heard!
They are nowhere to be found,
To assist 'you' when you need 'them',
But first to arrive to offer a discouraging word.

Aren't you fed up with their lack of time to listen?
Don't you wish they would grow and want to learn?
Even though they blame others for their troubling lives,
They will never feel ashamed,
To express their own limits of concern!
A repeated lesson you have learned?

You know the ones...
With their heads turned!

People In Other People's Lives They Have Never Met

Are you that person,
To take what you hear...
To be fact and not fiction?

Have you ever disliked someone,
Because of what you've heard?

Did you ever disrespect anyone,
To one day regret paying attention to gossip?
Helping to spread the rumors...
That defamed and shamed lives that were done.
And you had been the main one...
Wishing to pass on fresh innuendos to come.

And one day...
You just happen to meet,
The nicest person someone else introduced to you...
As the two of you met,
Coincidentally on the street.

And there you were,
Feeling embarrassed with remorse...
You and others,
Were the reason this person was divorced!

Well...
You are not alone.
There are so many people in other people's lives,
They have never met.
Nor have ever seen before...
Until they actually meet!
On the street or socially...
With wishes they could find someone like that,
To come home to and be happy to love.

The Declining Art Of Communication

We all seem to be living our lives
At an ever increasing pace.
We are finding less and less time
To meet up with people face to face.

You often read stories in the press,
About people being fired or dumped by text.
The way in which we communicate has changed so much,
That you do find yourself wondering 'Whatever next? '

There are some things, which by text or email,
You just really shouldn't say:
Like, if you're telling someone that they're no longer wanted,
Or that someone they know has just passed away.

You can check your email at your leisure,
Unlike if someone contacts you by phone,
But like they say, it's good to talk,
So you really shouldn't moan.

I love receiving letters on fancy paper from my friends,
And hear them dropping through my letterbox,
But the whole idea of 'snail' as opposed to email,
Is a concept which, nowadays, is often mocked.

If you're talking face to face,
You're less likely to get the wrong impression.
You can connect more to people's thoughts and feelings,
If you are able to read their facial expressions.

Tackling a sensitive subject with someone,
Often has us trembling with fear,
But is it really better for it to be discussed
Electronically, rather than ear to ear?

Sometimes, you can spend hours together,
During which time, very little of importance is said.
Then, later, you log on to your computer,
And discover all the gossip is on there instead!

If you put all of your news on Facebook,
You may find your face to face conversation is suddenly dead.
When you next meet up with someone and mention your news,
They will turn to you, and say 'Yeah, you said'!

The world of communication has come on in leaps and bounds,
But, in some ways, it has advanced too much.
Communication can now be so impersonal,
That we seem to have lost the human touch.

If You've Got Issues You've Got Issues

Aren't you curious and find it strange,
That those who ridicule and complain...
About what others do and/or don't do,
Seem to have no activities at all...
Other than to come together day after day,
To do the same things?
With nothing to show for their efforts wasted?

'No.
I haven't noticed it.
I do my best to keep busy.
I don't take time watching what others do.
And where are you to observe this...
On a regular and daily basis.'

I'm..uh...I...well...
I asked you the question.

'I understood your question perfectly.
But what I don't understand...
Is 'how' and 'what' THEY do,
Has any connection to you? '

I...uh...well...I'm...
I've got to go.
It is difficult to have a conversation,
With somebody like you...
Who can't answer a simple question.
It's not complicated.
If you've got issues you've got issues.
Avoiding what they are wont solve them.
Especially to judge others.

'I agree with you.
And IF you have to go,
You have to go.
There was a time I'd wake up in the morning,
Confused and complex myself.
Until I self examined.'

Yeah.
I can see that.
Well I hope things work out for you.
Try not to be so negative.

'And...
Try to keep what we discussed,
To yourself, okay? '

No problem.
None at all.
I wont tell a soul.

Those of Actions and Less Words

Anyone can make comments,
About feelings meant.
Feelings claimed to have!
But kept in one's mind,
Where that time has been spent!

However...
Those of actions and less words,
Impress with images lasting.
And it is the consistency of their thoughts and deeds...
That keeps one in someone's mind,
As one that can be believed without doubt or question.

Too many people today express in public flair,
How deep their loyalty for another is...
And so profess what is kept,
But not truthfully there to be addressed.

With confessions made to others,
As if this passes a test.
While it is the things done they do...
That disproves a conviction spoken.
And not in their hearts to followed through.
Although dramatized displays are created,
To show how someone by another,
Has been made to become upset.

This is straight from a 101 Beginner's Acting Manual.

And those on the receiving end,
Are not tricked to be fooled by deceptions that begin.
Feelings they have are invested too!
And these feelings for them are protected to defend.
Not tossed about in meaningless conversations.
Conversations to impress but without a depth connected.

Anyone can make comments,
About feelings meant.
Feelings claimed to have!
But kept in one's mind,
Where that time has been spent!

Ignorance And Rudeness

Was it a foul smell from my direction that in the wind to them did blow
For they passed me by without speaking when to them i said hello
They seemed cold and unfriendly though them i did not know
At the strangeness of some human behaviour my wonder only grow.

Or are they short of hearing since they did not look my way
Though such instances in our daily lives we meet with every day
Without even once speaking from their lives me they did exclude
Some people can be ignorant as well as very rude.

Many words that end with ism I come across on every street
And racism and ageism I often seem to meet
Why some people are so up themselves I often wonder why
Their silence seems offensive as they ignore your greeting hi.

On the next time that i meet these two i will pay them less respect
And from appearing silly i will be more circumspect
The disrespect that they show to me in like i can repay
For ignorance and rudeness are games more than one can play.

There Is A Reason And Rhyme That Connects

No one should assume,
They know someone so well...
As to take their expression of concern,
For granted.
Or believe they have stopped doing it,
Because that person is in an attitude...
And has exclusively to them shown this.
For no apparent reason.
And they have expressed this 'moodiness',
Before in the past to them.

If someone is taken for granted like that,
With beliefs that have not been validated.
But has been treated indifferently as time progresses,
By those with unfounded beliefs they hold onto...
They can also assume,
That a concern once expressed...
Will not again be addressed,
By someone who has stopped caring...
Less,
What it is that they believe.

Eventually those assumptions held in their minds,
Will connect to find...
Someone that has been dismissed,
To them has been genuine.
There is a reason and rhyme that connects,
To everything with time given it that takes place.

Beyond Our Absency

Disregarding the opportunities that we meet/
Ignoring our most important responsibilities/
Unfortunately
Unwillingly we loose our most valuable years and their chances/

As we earn instead regrets/
The weakness of the will/
The loose of the faith/
Leads us to concern about our futures/

As with time we loose self confidant/
Disregarding of others capabilities to bear our immorality/
Our ignorance against other's feelings/
Leads us to disturbance/

As well as the loose of our most important relationships/
The avoidance and the fear to make a change/
In rough of importance of our cases to make a change/
Leads our lives as well as other people's lives/

Those who are the most valuable existence and the essential realities of our lives/
To never-ending sufferings/
Unfortunately sometimes unconsciously/
We do harm ourselves and people around/

We do care and love them/
Because of a very silly reasons we do harm them and ourselves/
Absency at the near future while we feel the results of the past faults/
While we suffer we forget that those are the results of our absence and unawareness/

More Appreciative Of Others

I learned at an early age,
After graduating from high school...
And standing in a uniform,
During those Viet Nam warring days.
There is quite a difference between,
Holding back emotions...
And becoming emotional with rage.

As a soldier I learned patience.
But unafraid dropp a tear.
Many people with issues,
Like to express them quick...
To make them clear!

And as time passes while I age,
I've learned to control 'some' things I say.
And so grateful I am to write with interest,
Those things most believe,
Comes from a weakness expressed.

Not many realize the strength it takes,
To admit one's faults and mistakes they've made.
And I appreciate those who have experienced this.
Since this shows,
What so many living miss!

I learned at an early age,
After graduating from high school...
And standing in a uniform,
During those Viet Nam warring days.
There is quite a difference between,
Holding back emotions...
And becoming emotional with rage.

It seems those who have lived,
To reflect upon their veteraned lives...
Are more appreciative of others.
And less opinionated like some,
Who feel they have rights,
To criticize and despise...
How people live and survive!

Oh, what do I do?

Oh,
What do I do
If people do
Not want to change
For their own good?

What do I do
If people want
To fight in vain
In angry mood?

What do I do
If people love
To do those things
They should not do?

What do I do
If people try
To slander and
Much gossip too?

What do I do
If people do
Not live in peace
With fellow-men?

What do I do
If people bear
Ill-will and grudge
Against brethren?

What do I do
If people strive
To live in vice,
And not advice?

What do I do
If people will
Not share excess
With country-men?

What do I do
If people like
To live in sin
And hate, within?

What do I do
If people don’t
Amend their lives
And turn soul-wise?

What do I do
If people waste
Their precious time
In ego prime?

The things men do
And women too,
Hurt minds and hearts,
Like arrows, darts!

The things they do
Can anger God,
To give His nod
For divine rod!

Oh, will not men
Give up their pride
Or their sins hide,
In God abide?

This Time

What you gonna do about it
How you gonna live without it
Some of us are getting proud
And I dont know if thats allowed
People just cant forget it
This time!
Some of us are getting strong
Never want to wait too long
This time
And now I want to get away
I know what I want and I say what I say
Never want to live without it
This time!
And when the feelings show
I need the time to know
If Im goin to get it right
And when the feelings show
I need the faith to know
Well I dont know if Ive got the message right
People cant get by without it
This time
Love is gonna get requited
This time
Some of us are getting strong
And I dont know if thats so wrong
Never want to wait to get it
This time
And when the feelings show
Tell me do you know
It Im gonna get it right
When the light go low
Tell me do you know
Oh, I need to know
If Im gonna get it right
People go to war to get it
This time
The devil called, better forget it
This time
Never gonna say thats wrong
Cos all I know I cant be wrong
Never go to bed without it
This time
Living in a street aint easy
This time
Never gonna get it easy
This time

Not One To Encourage A Response, However...

People in hiding,
With beliefs their unspoken intentions...
'Should' be understood.
Are finding themselves,
Alone with their misguided perceptions.

And there is just too much evidence,
That immaturity accepted to nourish...
Flourishes the environment,
With the presence of too many latrent fools...
Doing the best they can to escape,
From the accountability of their actions.

And people blame the children,
For the boisterous disrespect and ignorance.

I am not one to encourage a response,
However...
Can the minds of today,
Address the depth of a shallowness expressed.
And accept this as a reflection of themselves...
As if to take pride in the reality of their social dysfunctions.
And pretend this existence is clear and free of normalcy.

I am not one to encourage a response,
However...
Hasn't it been time that those delusional find,
Truth in themselves...
As a gift and nothing one has to fear!

Imbedded

Six weeks spent in quarantine.
And five months being probed,
In isolation and daily disrobed...
Over every inch of my body,
By those clothed and masked...
To microscope every crevice I had,
Is a memory I will never forget.

Imbedded in my mind,
Is that time I experienced feeling totally alone.
To say today...
There is nothing to compared to it.
Nor the reaction from those I received to get,
Who chose to gossip with embellished innuendos.
While my faith remained to strengthen....to me shows.

There is nothing to compared to it this I admit.
Nor the reaction from those visiting with images.
Who chose to gossip with embellished innuendos.
While my faith remained to strengthen.
And the few I will never forget,
Who did their very best to get me back on my feet.

Blessed are they,
Who did not wish secretly to see me defeated.
Since my healing completely,
Reveals with clarity what those of closed minds...
Would never suspect is shown to make known,
When one is assisted to climb to a higher consciousness.

A Spicing Done That Delivers Innuendos

People express their opinions.
And most opinions made,
Have been gossip relayed.
It seems to excite those kept entertained,
By a dropping of their two cents...
Upon situations lived by others,
With the adding of additional...
Nonsensed ingredient.

And when their taste to degrade,
Has been proven wrong...
No apologies are made,
As these people just move on...
To someone else that is picked,
For a spicing done that delivers innuendos...
Without proof or validation,
To assassinate another character as seen fit!

Quit looking for your salvation from the emotionally stunted people

We forget that we are part of the very core of creation, thus we are an expression of creation. From time to time we incarnate into families that is into circumstances that shame us out of are core, of who we are, this starts from birth, such feelings begin in the womb from the circumstances that surround the mother. The way out of such feelings is in. Own your feelings, they are telling you that the environment that you were raised in was inadequate. Quit looking for your salvation from the emotionally stunted people of your past. Find it in people who are able and willing to own their projections, who are capable of really loving you, that is be with people who love you for you instead of trying to manipulate you into roles that validates their twisted and stunted sense of self.

Reality Shows Tells Us Gossip

In this planetary dream
we have gossip which can get extreme.
It puts us in a more living hell
for people on reality shows have to tell
tell something bad to bring up the ratings
do something drama filled to be degrading.
But this puts us all into more of a living hell
we don't know this but we learned it well.
We learned when we where young
when our lives had just begun.
We learned to gossip to make us feel better
by listening to adults go on about people to the letter
Gossip gets old really fast—
ruined relationships that never last.
Why not more funny shows—
the kind where there are actors that nobody knows.
There is of course these shows that make you think
not hearing about someone else's stink.
