Invested Heart
Invested heart.
Collect your joy,
From deposits of interests.
Your return is going to be exchanged,
With dividends unexpected!
There were some times
You knew you didn't have to be there.
But you stayed and weathered the storm!
And your reward comes,
Packaged in contentment!
You now know what pleases you...
And your sacrifices have not been in vain!
Invested heart...
Collect your joy!
Do you know of anyone else,
More deserving?

Next To Collect
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
You could be the next on the list...
To get it and quick.
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
Tomorrow no one knows,
Just what to expect.
You may be next to collect it!
An overwhelming love received.
You may be next to collect,
A joy that never leaves.
You may be next to collect it!
A one of a kind peace...
On your mind.
You may be next to collect it!
An overwhelming love received.
You may be next to collect,
A joy that never leaves.
You may be next to collect it!
A one of a kind peace...
On your mind.
You may be next to collect,
Just accept you are blessed.
You could be the next to collect...
RESPECT.
You could be the next on the list...
To get it and quick.
You may be the next to collect it...
An abundance of happiness.
The next to collect.
The next to collect.
You may be the next to collect it...
An abundance of happiness.
The next to collect.
The next to collect.
You may be the next to collect it!

Memorabilia
what do your nipples look like)
wherever i go
i take a little piece of you
i collect
i reject
photographs i took of you
well times i passed through
so many faces
so many places
i have got to have a memory
i have never been there
i have never had you
i can't remember
give me your reminder
i collect
i reject
memorabilia
(now girl..only it's flavor..bow down here)
keychains and snowstorms
the taste of your sweat
the look in your eye
i have been inside you
i know what it feels like
(wet as it is..the whiter the honey)
i collect
i reject
memorabilia
(goodies come in here all day)
give me your reminder
i can't remember
i collect
i reject
memorabilia

But, finally, I just realized a few years ago that this is where I belonged. I mean everything I had was invested here, emotionally and every other way. And the country had invested enormously in me.

Wise Investment
I banked
On your love
Invested my life
But the returns
Ruined me
You do not own me
So I decided
To take back
My deposits
Withdraw interest
And regain
Stability
Profit
Is me.

The gentleman
A gentle man is who makes petty sacrifices.
He has an eye for sacrifices in return.
He never hurts nor pleases unintentionally.

I’ve definitely been in love. I’ve definitely invested so much in another person that I would put them before myself. I think that can be a dangerous game to play because you don’t look after yourself so much. I think it’s important that there is a quality of self-contentment in a relationship. But I know what it feels like to…it’s all encompassing.

Silence
Go, my sun go.
Collect all your golden leaves
and leave me with pink wounds.
Go, my son go.
Collect all your lies
and leave me with bare bones.
Lying in bed with saddened eyes
I count the mistakes, eternities
and chew the years.
It had been a long journey
from cloud to cloud,
time to dropp on dew again.
I return to silence
feed it my body.

Collecting
Some of us are collectors
and collect almost anything.
Sometimes it becomes an obsession
to see what each day brings.
Whatever we collect,
I can guarantee
there will always be
something we want
that is unattainable.

Echo Of Your Footsteps
Every night I hear
the echo of your footsteps,
across the wooden floor.
They seem to be leading
out to the front door.
It happens every night,
since the day you left,
they are there to haunt me,
reminding me
what I should have done.
I should have begged
for your forgiveness,
for the mistakes I made.
Hoping you would forgive me,
and in my arms stayed.
But I didn’t,
and your gone now.
All I have is an empty heart,
memories I did collect,
and the lonely echo of your footsteps.

Yes, prudently invested contributions to the Social Security fund may bring greater dividends, but those contributions would also face a greater risk. It would be like gambling. We should not gamble with the investments and the future of the citizens of this land.

Let Happiness Seduce Us
If only we invested...
More of our feeling,
In what pleases us...
'Instead' of that which displeases!
If we showed that...
Embracing it,
And left our disappointments
With less emotional power...
Every hour we produced
To let happiness seduce us,
Would leave so much of it to share,
With others unaware,
This too is theirs to give!

Two Men On Fire
The air of two men is alight,
The fire surrounds them and fights,
What do we gain from this?
It stings and shudders our blood,
The fire retires and is stolen,
Fierce winds dissolve its anger,
Minds attached always collect information.
The air of two men is afire,
The clothes possessed are an attack.
Two men are on fire, two men will bear
The time so rare, and the fierce winds collect
And more collect, to dissolve the hurt.

Finding Words to Define Regret
Be not me,
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?
But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.
We do and we don't,
And most times it's ignored.
We can be under one roof...
Yet behind separate doors.
I am he
You once adored.
The one committed
To adventure
We said we'd explore?
We're on different shores...
Together.
Be not 'me',
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?
But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.
Only you helped me decide...
That part of me you took for granted,
Had to heal and mend when my eyes opened.
I was happy when that happened.
I wanted us both to see the same sunset...
Holding hand and hand facing the horizon.
But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.
Sometimes that would be both of us...
Disgusted together.
But I'm not about that anymore,
Anytime soon!
Be not me! ?
The ME
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?
We do and we don't,
And most times it's ignored.
We can be under one roof...
Yet behind separate doors..
Disgusted and distrusting both of us,
Together.
Reminiscing the worse,
Of one once adored.
This is not love,
Baiting a mating match...
At all.
And yet time we waste,
Finding words to define regret!

Flow Of Love!
My heart is not sculptured resembling your face,
Still it says your name seventy two times,
A minute, the love flows through the four chambers,
Looking for your heart that is safe as the deposit,
That is kept for life time and will never get matured,
To get back your heart with my interest accumulated,
Let our love get compounded, not be the simple,
To mature and collect the debris of good memories,
Let our love have the memory in maximum bytes,
To remember the good for many more births,
The bad can be gone to day itself. Let our love stay.
For ever, in your heart and in my heart not desiccated.

Dividends Expected
If anyone decides they'd like to get immediate feedback,
As to how their investment has progressed...
They need not look any further,
Than to the activities of their children.
And what and who has influenced them...
Along their paths when making their decisions.
When questions aren't asked answers aren't volunteered.
One who has invested time and devoted sacrifice,
Need not be too concern of their dividends expected.
Most times one can count on not experiencing a loss.
And those who have losses may be disappointed,
When all of their eggs have been 'cracked'...
And forced to be placed in one basket and mismatched,
To high expectations without periodic examination.
'But...
My portfolio was designed to retrieve specific,
And guaranteed returns.'
~But...
Times have changed.
And throwing money away...
Does not mean any of it should stick,
When the one receiving it takes it for granted...
Without it being earned to learn or acquire a purpose.~

Don't Slow Your Pace
Whatever your endeavors,
May you seek them with happiness.
I hope this is a labor of love invested...
And not just time spent,
For a resumé to document!
To show others what you've accomplished,
Just for accomplishment sake...
Works to satisfy an ego that passes,
Leaving eventually your heart at stake!
And if you are not doing,
Something 'you' are pursuing...
But instead seeking a fortune to obtain!
You will one day discover,
Time has slipped away.
And the passion for collected treasures...
Has faded!
Just like the time you traded that strays!
Whatever your endeavors,
May you seek them with happiness.
I hope this is a labor of love invested...
And not just time spent,
For a resumé to document!
Don't wait to do those things you want!
Because of fears you will have nothing to flaunt!
In your heart is where your true ambitions are.
Don't waste it to delay the glow...
That makes you your own superstar that shows!
Go for it!
And don't slow your pace in doubt!
Make the best of it!
That is what the life you live is all about!
Living it just to please another...
You can do without!

For me, the risks in terms of opening that brewpub were fairly high. I put my house up as collateral, I invested the liquid money I had and two years of my time to get it over, but that's really not much of a risk for what the potential reward was if it worked.
