In The Wilderness Of Uncertainty
If I had a singular point to make,
From this one soul...
Coming face to face,
With a host of nameless expressions.
I would wish to appear fearless.
Travel as I wonder,
Which door to pick for a short visit.
Would I be embraced...
When my deepest thoughts are revealed,
Comfortably enough to retrace steps I've taken.
If I had a singular desire,
To inspire feelings of love...
I wish to share.
Would I recognize a caring there...
Communicating hope and faith.
And would that singular point I made,
Be accepted as an invitation...
To explore a togetherness,
In the wilderness of uncertainty...
Two free of doubt can journey.
Or will I be asked to leave,
To inspire no one to come with me...
In a search to uncover unconditional love.
Unrestricted...
By a consciousness confined to limits.

A singular person
I like to think that
I'm a singular person
Just not singular in any
Outstanding way
I like to think tho', that
There's something special
In the little things I do
And in a few of the things I say
I'm a man of few words
But a bearer of many emotions
I love wee little birds
And great briney oceans
Rustic ol' bridges
And ol' magic potions
Pump organs in ol
Churches…Sunday devotions
Yep…I like to think
That I'm a singular person
A peculiar man
In my own peculiar way
Not really outstanding
In my prosin' and versin'
A man of few words
And I'll keep it that way

Upon the lap of Nature
A lonesome bird
A whispering wind
A solitary cloud,
Nature is a singular scene.
A running brook
Gushing falls
Breathing woods,
Nature is a singular voice.
Endless meads
Dancing shades
A grazing cow
Nature is a singular vision.
A ploughman’s call
A melodious song
A barking dog,
Nature is a singular pulse.
A twinkling star
A silent night
A burning candle,
Nature is a singular moment.
A blossoming bud
A blissful moment
A graceful heart,
Nature is a singular mould.
A different season
A different mood
A changing hue
Nature is a singular feel.
Nature’s themes are endless,
Variety simply countless
Yet, the impact is singular,
Thy pulses are thine alone.

What is actually this Nature? Nature is our own living core. When we are on the lap of Nature, we are within our reflections. We are born out of this Nature and finally return to her elements. We owe our bodily and mental existence to these gross and subtle elements of nature. We are in eternal communion with her either consciously or unconsciously. Our core is peace and solitude. The rest is all a forced mask. This is why we turn to Nature now and then for an all round refreshment. A twinkling star, a flying bird, a passing wind, a running brook, a falling leaf, a burning candle, a silent night, a sailing cloud, a grazing cow… these present moments of glory in our life. They all represent the philosophy of our life. They boost our mental battery because on the lap of Nature, our thoughts gradually disappear and we become contemplative and meditative. Everybody needs this tonic. Nature is a beautiful lass. Nature is a good philosopher too. Let us open our eyes and ears and be ready for a floating experience!

Leave It To My Senses
Leave it to my senses
And the darkness of a room,
For I have no reflection
And my eyes refuse to see
The light if day or love
Or memory-so extinguished
Is the lamp that once
Brightened my life with purpose! ...
Myself, so outward changed
That I seem not to maintain
A singular character apart
From all others
Who, separately, take their cue
From placement and environment,
Each by turn but tell me-
Did you expect another me? ...
Another page, another grave
For yesterday's treasured-
The sustaining pursuit
Or a self-made uncertainty
Of a need for growth and be free.
What does it mean-but me
Or you-alive with possibility,
Owning nothing to the past but this?

I Believe in Muses
Nine to the Universe, the Nine Divine
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to dream sublime
Empress Omega, Betty Shabazz, Nzinga all of the Queens
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to achieve impossible dreams
Your sepia back, so strong and beautiful as obsidian
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to search where truth is hidden
Thighs, eyes, hips and lips, I desire you body and soul
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to an orgasmic loss of self control
Your beauty has inspired men to create, to build, to rise
I believe in Muses, Inspire me to be a King in your eyes

The Inquisitive Man’s Dream
Á Nadar
Do you know, as I do, delicious sadness
and make others say of you: ‘Strange man!’
- I was dying. In my soul, singular illness,
desire and horror were mingled as one:
anguish and living hope, no factious bile.
The more the fatal sand ran out, the more
acute, delicious my torment: my heart entire
was tearing itself away from the world I saw.
I was like a child eager for the spectacle,
hating the curtain as one hates an obstacle…
at last the truth was chillingly revealed:
I’d died without surprise, dreadful morning
enveloped me. – Was this all there was to see?
The curtain had risen, and I was still waiting.

Brooding
Brooding here in deepest thought.
Do people care for what I've wrought?
I come to share and they don't care,
afraid to explore the darker fare.
I speak only truth for what I feel.
What I've seen,
how I deal.
A brooding soul I may be.
What's so wrong,
I ask not for your pity.
I only come here to express,
how I see in joy and much distress.
No one reads,
no one cares.
Is my point of view so very rare?
I do not come to blacken your door.
I just come to release my fear.
I brood because you are so blind to my cheer.
It's not always sadness here.
What don't you see?
What don't you get?
Is all I say just useless death?
I hope at least I can touch.
The ones I love,
and those I've lost.
I hope to touch their hearts with what I say.
Continue on to find that day.
When maybe soon they'll understand,
my weakness grand that drives me here.
Will someone see?
Will they get it?
I lose more faith with every second.
So here I sit in brooding slumber.
All I can do is wander and wonder.

Vivid Clarity: These Steps I Take
It is the 'who' in me pursued.
Appearing as I do before you...
Without references!
Either those accepted or dismissed.
And depending on your beliefs...
I was 'somewhere' in the heavens,
And 'asked' for this existence.
Whether or not that is true,
I am going to do my best...
To ensure my presence has been felt.
Suggestions given may come after I ask.
I am not seeking charity,
From those on goodwill missions...
Out to prove they have been chosen,
To condition minds...
With a conformed environment as the agenda.
'Peace my brother!
Have you been introduced to the Lord? '
These steps I have taken,
Were made on scraped knees and bruised feet.
Faith, hope and confidence arrived...
To discover me in doubt.
I ain't there no 'mo!
Vivid is my clarity.
These steps I take...
Only God knows what it took to make them.
Yes...
I know the Lord.
If you knew Him you would not have asked me that.
Vivid is my clarity.
These steps I take...
Only God knows what it took to make them.
Yes...
I know the Lord.
If you knew Him you would not have asked me that.
However,
I can tell by your eyes,
This is a fresh discovery?
With a desire to share!
And, I have been there.
I was born to chew, digest and enjoy the scenery!
Not to be caught up and lost in it.
Or bleed dramatically in public.
Without sound of applause.
I use to be shocked...
By the lack of sincere empathy unseen.
Observe. Experience. Feel!
And leave behind appropriate recommendations.
That is my assignment.
Someone, somewhere...
Will eventually find themselves exploring life,
Oppose to hoping for clues to magically appear...
Out of thin air.
With vivid clarity,
Are those steps I take!
And I didn't just awaken.
I began chipping away at obstacles,
When it became apparent...
My tears would not dissolve them!
Observe. Experience. Feel!
And leave behind appropriate recommendations.
That is my assignment.

Each Day, Since We Parted
I have never heard either one of you
Utter a single intelligible word,
Yet, more than else, 'I love you',
Are words, from me, that I regret you've never heard;
I have never been with you
During times of revelry or of sorrow,
Though you may be assured, I miss you-
And shall ever more, tomorrow!
No other two ladies may lay this singular claim:
Both of you share so much more than a last name-
Perhaps, neither one of you knows, the same;
Yet, to alight this upon thee, is my one, singular aim!
Alas, both of you are to the other, unbeknownst;
No one charged with youur guard, has deigned
To believe your unique connection need be announced,
And thus, with time, it has surely waned!
For shame! With each day that passes-for shame!
That they sit idly by, and allow this:
Sikerly, all you are allowed to share is a last name-
I, in most emphatic terms, do disavow this-
This inaction, from those who need consider
Your needs before their own, but do not!
This, to me, is a pill, most bitter-
Yet, I may not intervene, so I do naught!
As your Father, this pains my heart!
Though I have not lain mine eyes
Upon thee, since a time closer to your start,
I have been forced through, estrangement, to realize:
Neither time, nor miles, may serve as impediment
To a paternal love, that seeks not its own glory,
Nor may a 1,000 other pitfalls be a detriment
To the way I read my love for thee, and the story
I choose to tell to the rest of the world!
My heart is coffered, yet for both of you, is left unguarded-
'You are always welcome here'-it remains unfurled-
And has been each day, since we parted!

To My Inspiring Muse
Inspire my mind to make
soul-stirring music,
to enthrall the doleful hearts
for enchanting this world………., …..(Inspire..)
When I fly through the
Himalayan Valleys,
ignite my heart to sing,
the paeans to Nature………..(Inspire..)
I want to enfold the
ennobling river Ganges
and enjoy a nap on the
lap of the cool breeze. ……….(Inspire….)
I should feel exalted
from my injured heart;
and from my freak frenzies,
I will be strewing flowers. …….. (Inspire…)
Heart-warming songs I can
sing in my mother tongue.
To tell her fame all the world
I strained me in other tongue.
I love to sink in the serene sea of English
to bring up the pearls for ensuring a new birth. …..(Inspire…)

The Valley Of Anchor
To uncover her nakedness like a sweet lover on the bed of roses,
But to come up out of her grave like bat out of hell!
I am in the valley of anchor to share my views with you.
I have tiome to uncover her nakedness,
I have the joy to share her love;
But the muse that muses is all that i share with you as well.
To come up out of her grave like a bat out of hell,
With te valley of anchor to share my mind with you;
But from the days of her youth,
She was all that it takes.
Wrapped in the wings of love is her identity and,
I am in the valley of anchor to make love with her;
But from between her breasts are the true love of her muse.
Her lewdness to all is in the valley of anchor,
And her nakedness to all is seen around her youthful breasts;
But the door of her hope is what she has for you,
Like me being with her all day long.
Take a stick and write upon it,
For i desire mercy on this love than hate;
Like the great River Hiddekel.
She has set water for me to drink on this love,
Like a freewill offering of her love in the valley of anchor;
But be very careful to swim deeply into her love.
Like the King's food and the Queen's water,
Im am in a night vision of love to share my views;
And from between her breasts are the sweet things of love.
The deep and the secrets of her love,
Like the great River Hiddekel pouring down on her nakedness;
Come and explore this valley of her anchor.

Beauty is the result of having been through an experience all the way through to the end - therefore it has a poignancy. Beauty that is singular always comes from following an experience to the point where you can go no further.

Are We There Yet?
Feeling again that you’ve found “the one”
It is difficult to try and assert
That you or yours can love and trust
As if you’ve never been hurt.
There may be a tall wall made of fears.
And all the symptoms of Excuse-itis,
Mixed in with memories which may have
More pains than osteoarthritis.
So, when those special feelings rise again
And you’re scared and in search for doubt
Here’s a mathematical metaphor that
Might help you to sort things out.
It’s a very simple theory
That’s not too hard to follow
Although I know the end result
May be a little hard to swallow.
Suppose you want to travel,
From a point A to a point B.
This can be any given length,
Or, perhaps even emotionally.
Now, begin your journey,
And then stop in the middle
Then start and stop halfway again.
Keep repeating the key to this riddle.
Start and stop at every half point
And, no matter how long you strive
Because of the constant division;
To your goal you will never arrive.
Now it’s time for your crucial test
To mentally measure the joy life brings.
Think of all the new smiles there are now
In those old romantic and cliché things.
You see, in our imperfect world
Too many decimal places are just fluff.
Don’t believe you’re THERE and in love?
Well, then you’re darn well close enough.

Every Piece Unglued
Thick with a scent,
Of misplaced emptiness...
Is this space.
A sharing of a place embraced,
I now face alone.
Foolish I feel and it is absolute.
I admit it now,
With thoughts of you...
Constantly reminding,
Are the regrets that are felt...
After doing those things,
Foolish people like me do.
Quick tempered!
And splitting my own heart into pieces.
And every piece unglued only you kept,
To hold together.
Storms I initiated you found a way to calm.
I brought harm to myself and our relationship.
My consciousness will not allow me to forget this.
Thick with a scent,
Of misplaced emptiness...
Is this space.
A sharing of a place embraced,
I now face alone.
Foolish I feel and it is absolute.
Every piece unglued with my tantrums thrown.
My consciousness will not allow me to forget this.
And I was then...
Selfish. Self-centered. Self absorbed...
And made it for you,
Impossible to continue to live with!
Patiently tolerant!
My every completed need with you existed.
Foolish I feel and it is absolute.
Every piece unglued with my tantrums thrown.
My consciousness will not allow me to forget this.
And when I asked you to leave...
Patiently tolerant of my activities,
You did.
As I hid my tears disbelieving.
And every piece unglued you held,
Together...
I knew would vanish from a togetherness kept.

A Thousand Years
Words by sting, music by sting and kipper
A thousand years, a thousand more,
A thousand times a million doors to eternity
I may have lived a thousand lives, a thousand times
An endless turning stairway climbs
To a tower of souls
If it takes another thousand years, a thousand wars,
The towers rise to numberless floors in space
I could shed another million tears, a million breaths,
A million names but only one truth to face
A million roads, a million fears
A million suns, ten million years of uncertainty
I could speak a million lies, a million songs,
A million rights, a million wrongs in this balance of time
But if there was a single truth, a single light
A single thought, a singular touch of grace
Then following this single point , this single flame,
The single haunted memory of your face
I still love you
I still want you
A thousand times the mysteries unfold themselves
Like galaxies in my head
I may be numberless, I may be innocent
I may know many things, I may be ignorant
Or I could ride with kings and conquer many lands
Or win this world at cards and let it slip my hands
I could be cannon food, destroyed a thousand times
Reborn as fortunes child to judge anothers crimes
Or wear this pilgrims cloak, or be a common thief
Ive kept this single faith, I have but one belief
I still love you
I still want you
A thousand times the mysteries unfold themselves
Like galaxies in my head
On and on the mysteries unwind themselves
Eternities still unsaid
til you love me

Ode to my debacle
There she was in essence fresh
Surely filling my mind
With women of confluence
I was frozen in time
Thoughts flexure my mind
The flexurous trip so wild
My what a world so grand
With ability to have swain so sure
The chance for heartache and pain
Thus our lives strike out in search
With love searching for mirth
Then comes sorrow and pain
The prowess to live love and die
With the essence of what filled my mind
My woman my wife
God loves her
The singular love of my life.
In Love & Terrified
In love and terrified
This singular feeling overwhelms
Making its own purpose to life
Beautifully distracting the mind
To other thoughts and feelings
That seem to go unnoticed
While a fear still persists
That all could be lost
Stolen before its had its time
To be entwined into memory
Never to be left forgotten
Such dread lingers in stale air
Dampens the joyful spirit
That the world could fall down
Into the depths of loss
Eyes shimmer in holding tears
Full of love yet still terrified

Freedom Fighter
The mouths of envious
Always find another door
While at the gates of paradise they beat us down some more
But our mission's set in stone
'Cause the writing's on the wall
I'll scream it from the mountain tops pride comes before the fall
So many thoughts to share
All this energy to give
Unlike those who hide the truth I tell it like it is
If the truth will set you free
I feel sorry for your soul
Can't you hear the ringing 'cause for you the bell tolls
[Chorus]
I'm just a freedom fighter
No remorse
Raging on in holy war
Soon there'll come a day
When you're face to face with
Face to face with me
Can't you hear us coming?
People marching all around
Can't you see we're coming?
Close your eyes it's over now
Can't you hear us coming?
The fight has only just begun
Can't you see we're coming?
I'm just a freedom fighter
No remorse
Raging on in holy war
Soon there'll come a day
When your face to face with me
Face to face with me

Long Way Home
Its hard to say from where you stand
Exactly when it all began
But someplace theres a point you cross the line
You see the tears than stain your face
Mirrored in your make-up case
And know its time to leave this place behind
Chorus:
Its a long way home
Its a long way home
Its a long way home
Trying to retrace your steps
All too easy to forget
Just which way to go
Its a long way home
Outside the sky is threatening
You slowly gather up your things
And wonder how you ever will explain
Walking out so self-assured
Yeah, you were gonna change the world
Walking back, a child in the rain
Chorus:
Its a long way home
Its a long way home
Its a long way home
How can you retrace the steps
Youve been trying to forget
Still its time to go
And its a long way home
And if you lose your way
Just keep your eye upon that endless broken line
Throw bag beneath the bus
Sit among the curious
It happens to the best of us, you know
Chorus:
Its a long way home
Its a long way home
Its a long way home
Starting to retrace your steps
You learn to live with your regrets
Next stop heaven knows
Its a long way home
Such a long way
Its a long way home
