From the trappings of madness.
As if hypnotically accepting to be strapped...

The Sanctuary within
The whisper of breeze on my face,
Send confidence to the sanctuary within,
Oozing pain coming without trace,
The agony spilled out with delirious scream.
Hope brings out a triumphant joy,
Resonate from the sanctuary within,
Prayers to heaven send the call of victory,
And the greatest prize we are about to win.
Winners; we shall be not be deceive,
With ease of wearing Olympic crowns,
Fear not the trigger nor do the taunts conceive,

Too much ado about birthdays? ? ?
.i had experience bdays...
on a hospital corridor...
doing nothing but..
battling bottled up emotions..
what had made me survive
some greetings from texters
here there and everywhere
i had too that birthday
inside a bus
nothing to sit on
i cling on a rail
and my feet ache
yet my heart is contented
for i am doing such..
for the benefit of many..
i had my birthday on..
a hospital bed..
surviving the pains
of an operation on my feet
whew what a heck i slept
and when i woke up
it was no longer my natal day
then i had a birthday
inside a church..and
the church goers sang
happy birthday to you...
and my soul leaps with joy
..then i had another one
a mass dedicated to my birthday..
and that makes me full
of God's graces..
now i am in a dream
where will my next birthday be?
in a comfort room?
in a beach?
in a hotel?
in a ship? or in heaven?

Most of this is memory now

The Gout in My Toe
Uric acid running down my leg
coming to rest in my right feets toe
alleviate this pain, to God I beg
for it's creeping inside, so very slow
I twist and turn
but can't get to sleep
my veins start to burn
within my surrowful feet
My foot has swollen
to almost twice its size
there is no warning
just an abrupt surprise
I elevate my leg
to ease the pain
but it retracts to my hip
leaving me the same
My mind has gone numb
every step is in agony
I realize I have lost this battle
for it's driving me into insanity.

Life is truly a ride
We're all strapped in.
When the doctor slaps your behind,
he's ripping your ticket and
away you go.
As you make each passage
from youth to maturity,
sometimes you put your arms up
and just scream.
Somtimes all you can do is hang on
to the bar in front of you.
It is the ride
that is the thing.
I think the most you can hope for
at the end of life is that
your hair's messed up,
you have a smile on your face,
that only you know how it got there,

I am determined,
To feel and receive...
