In Subdivisions of Sorrow
Depleted of reason to stand guard,
Behind erected fences...
Constructed to prevent hints of common sense,
To break them free of a stupidity,
Shielding them from their own happiness.
These vigilantes have grown tired of sightless threats,
Imposed upon them by fears implanted
Within minds long confined by unwarranted assumptions!
They have found no one with desires wanting to attack them.
They have discovered the unrest...
Coming from an isolation they were taught to believe
Others with envy sought to take away!
A way of life enriched by leeched resources.
Their misery results from a false and foolish perception,
A common grief they cherished was treasure to be protected!
They've come to realize their conflicts are their own.
And condoning them is not what others wish to share!
This is not the freedom perceived
By those who have chosen life free of imposed restrictions.
Or suppressed with opportunities to tax,
With burdens...
In subdivisions of sorrow that has lost its glimmer,
Sheen
And distant cravings!

Free to Love But
Free to love but...
Not convinced of it.
Wanting more to condense love,
Into something called 'common sense'.
Knowing nothing is common,
About that feeling!
Free to love but...
Overprotective.
And afraid to be hurt by it.
As if love is filled with pain.
As if to give it someone gains,
An upper hand to manipulate.
And many wish it can be controlled,
With understanding conditions issued.
Although wanting nothing to do with feeling confined.
But that's what love is...
An entrapment of some kind in our minds,
We wish freed.

Sick With Self Inflicted Pain
Heads thick and fantasized,
Have minds closed and prevent...
Abilities to reason.
Or rationalize with common sense.
Many minds like these,
Are not often seen sitting on fences.
Minds encouraged and convinced,
Become defensive...
When shown they are wrong.
And an offensiveness begins...
To shutdown with a stubbornness,
That creates their own unhealing wounds!
Heads thick and fantasized,
Have minds closed and prevent...
Abilities to reason.
Or rationalize with common sense.
And around those with heads thick,
Are walls cemented with a lifetime...
Of an ignorance sick with self inflicted pain.

Say Goodbye
Ive seen and done it all, it seems
Ive cried for all its worth a few times
I lived and loved in search of truth
Ive seen a lot of pain, oh, oh, oh
To finally realize, the reason for this life
Is to say goodbye to sorrow
Dont hang on to the tears we borrow
Say goodbye to sorrow and feel
That we are so free
We are free
Ive seen the bottom once or twice
Ive soared above the earth as suddenly
Ive made a few mistakes its true
Ive seen enough of hate, oh, oh, oh
To finally realize theres not much more to life
Than to say goodbye to sorrow
Dont hold on to the fears we borrow
Just say goodbye to sorrow and feel
That we are so free
We are free
We may long for happiness
Pray to God that we be blessed
Save us from this loneliness
After all that Ive been through
I believe the thing to do
Is to look inside of you
And just say goodbye to sorrow
Dont give up all the years weve borrowed
Say goodbye to sorrow and feel
That we are so free
We are free

You Are the Treasure
You are the treasure.
Sparkling and radiant.
Enriching the lives of those who know You.
And those who keep themselves,
Surrounded by replicas
In the hopes they will find You there defined.
Have been restricted to become inflicted.
They do not realize how lost they are.
Even with their eyes closed.
In search with deluted values imposed.
They tell others they have discovered
The true You!
Disputing everything You have done.
Under the Sun!
And ALL that You are they can not see.
You are the treasure!
And we are Your collection of gems.
Some have chosen to glisten!
Others are satisfied just to keep themselves dim!
Accepting an insignificance to wallow in!

Freedom XIV
And an orator said, "Speak to us of Freedom."
And he answered:
At the city gate and by your fireside I have seen you prostrate yourself and worship your own freedom,
Even as slaves humble themselves before a tyrant and praise him though he slays them.
Ay, in the grove of the temple and in the shadow of the citadel I have seen the freest among you wear their freedom as a yoke and a handcuff.
And my heart bled within me; for you can only be free when even the desire of seeking freedom becomes a harness to you, and when you cease to speak of freedom as a goal and a fulfillment.
You shall be free indeed when your days are not without a care nor your nights without a want and a grief,
But rather when these things girdle your life and yet you rise above them naked and unbound.
And how shall you rise beyond your days and nights unless you break the chains which you at the dawn of your understanding have fastened around your noon hour?
In truth that which you call freedom is the strongest of these chains, though its links glitter in the sun and dazzle the eyes.
And what is it but fragments of your own self you would discard that you may become free?
If it is an unjust law you would abolish, that law was written with your own hand upon your own forehead.
You cannot erase it by burning your law books nor by washing the foreheads of your judges, though you pour the sea upon them.
And if it is a despot you would dethrone, see first that his throne erected within you is destroyed.
For how can a tyrant rule the free and the proud, but for a tyranny in their own freedom and a shame in their won pride?
And if it is a care you would cast off, that care has been chosen by you rather than imposed upon you.
And if it is a fear you would dispel, the seat of that fear is in your heart and not in the hand of the feared.
Verily all things move within your being in constant half embrace, the desired and the dreaded, the repugnant and the cherished, the pursued and that which you would escape.
These things move within you as lights and shadows in pairs that cling.
And when the shadow fades and is no more, the light that lingers becomes a shadow to another light.
And thus your freedom when it loses its fetters becomes itself the fetter of a greater freedom.

Somewhere Deep Inside Your Denials Kept
Heckled by the hecklers,
Now found splintered by their own grief.
So easy was it for them to ridicule...
When they had the safety of employment,
And the backing of what they believed...
Was an economy strong to support their taunts!
Now haunted by their flaunting ways,
To portray themselves as a better class.
With some among them now asking why,
If they are so superior...
Why have those they've elected to protect them...
Blatantly ignore them and treat them like common trash?
'Oh...?
Your trash has been common for quite a while!
That is what those of deceiving greed do.
Psych and hype up the minds to gain trust.
And suck up your resources...
While they ensure you are entertained by concepts of greed,
And the need to feed temptations and lust!
Then with a pinch of fear to inflict.
With a dominating hatred...
Towards those who are promoted as enemies.
Using one's color and religion as excuses to begin.
And then to spread the word,
They are coming...coming they are,
To destroy the interests of those addicted...
To a way of life nonexisting.
Only in the throes of propaganda!
As seen on TV and in commercial ads.
And then with that as a distraction...
All funds are pocketed and then they run!
Isn't that not obvious? '
~But we are children of the chosen! ~
'You have been chosen?
Yes!
Oh yes.You have! Most definitely.
You have been chosen...
To be duped, hoodwinked, bamboozled, smoked screened...
Lied to with deceit and stripped of your resources.
And I'll refrain from calling you a sucker.
Somewhere deep inside your denials kept,
I am sure you now have a clue already hinting.
With a manifesting...
Supporting the widening of your eyes! '

If a Prevention With Good Health Began
To those who oppose,
A national health care be imposed...
To insure the ones exposed without it now.
Are kept without it now!
With efforts they avow.
And the millions who are not covered,
With a suffering done to them...
Known and discovered.
Cures of truth are not fed to them.
When this should be available.
Free of debated questions,
With no end.
But common sense for them,
Has long been dropped as an option.
Too many support,
Insitutions that thrive on death.
Institutions wishing to keep fear and illnesses kept,
To market diseases.
And increase the greeding of wealth.
If a prevention with good health began...
As an intention,
These mammoth implementing producing plants,
Would have to close.
To blow those snots with upturned noses.
And those in the know do not want to take that chance.
Since Opportunities to feed on the weaknesses of people...
Is the only way to keep them and those golf balls on course!
'Fore! '
The well being publicly mention to supply expert opinion!
Nothing more to suspect.
But a whole lot less can be expected.

Dependence On Negativity
Your demons have you convinced,
The life you live without me...
Would be better spent,
Not listening!
And the benefit from this,
Affords you to live...
A life lived without comprehension.
One acheived without common sense!
Follow I do your movements from the sidelines.
Hoping one day you will awaken to find...
Wasting time trying to redefine,
How to accept me in your mind...
Has limited you to doubt and misunderstanding.
Deception based upon your perception,
I have plans to manipulate your independence...
Is that continuous inner dialogue you keep,
With your belief a dependency on negativity relieves!
It is you not me living day to day in desperation.
However...
It is your happiness that has been blocked,
And confined.
Not mine!
That is the only freedom I know...
I have here to share with fresh air to breathe.

Resources We All Need
A negotiated peace,
With anyone who has illegally place...
Their feet on occupied land,
May be diplomaticized!
To try to reach,
An agreeable settlement.
But in the eyes of those disposed,
Feelings may arise they should oppose such theft.
And to be declared as terrorists and threats...
On lands that are rightfully theirs,
Is not best.
When public opinion has been distrubed,
By unrest!
Especially when seeking...
Resources we all need,
To identify a greed that feeds.
And it is the greed,
That has to be impeded.
To ensure a peace that is sought.
With desires for it to someday succeed.
And these times lived,
Are no better times to do it!
Since acts of destruction...
Appear as common as malfunctioning minds.
On the egde of a conciousness raising,
That Is not far behind to find!

In Between Thoughts!
I'm glad you chose me to lift your baggage.
You must have detected I was issue free.
There has to be something about me,
You spotted to give your undivided attention.
Something you saw that expresses this!
Since I do not participate in foolishness at all.
Is that it?
Is that the reason,
You selected me.
Because on my back you believe your baggage would fit?
Or you think we have something in common?
Like your perceived conception that I desire,
To share and unpack burdens?
Wherever and whatever you think I am...
I am not!
I like to pretend I am in between thoughts!
Can't you tell?
By the way I've completely ignored you.

Beyond the grief.
It seems as if we are stalled by our grief,
unable to move away from it – and I wonder
if we will ever get over the loss of you. In time
they say we will, that one day we will finally be free
of the sadness that burdens our hearts, and we will dance
in our remembrance, and there will be no more tears.
But if that's true, I must admit I will miss the tears
when there is an eventual easing of the grief.
I am not as eager to begin the dance
of life without you, for the world has lost its wonder
for me, some of its shine - and being free
seems awfully relative - I suppose just like time.
I can still so clearly recall the last time
we were all together - the tears
we shared, even laughter, when you were set free
of this earthly pain - and even in our grief,
we were filled with such wonder
as we witnessed the end of life's dance.
When I was a little boy you used to let me dance
on the top of your shoes, moving in time
to the music on the radio. Is it any wonder
that music, to this day, brings tears
of joy, mingled with the ever-present grief,
which still has not set me completely free.
I now realize there is a cost to love; it's not free -
for when you love, you buy a ticket to the dance
of life - which comes with joy and pain, celebration and grief.
And if you have lived a long enough time,
as I have, even when the loss brings never ending tears,
with a broken heart, it's worth all of the pain, and it's no wonder
people love so fiercely - so much so that they cease to wonder
about the why, when or where - and now I realize that I am free
to love, and to lose, which will bring with it many tears.
But each tear is worth it - and seems to make the dance
more authentic. In the end, I will measure my time
by how much of it was filled with love, and with grief.
No longer will I wonder whether or not I should dance,
I will just be free, stepping in and out of time,
wearing my tears like a badge of honor as I move beyond the grief.

Social Conditioning From Earliest Age
we care condition
our children
from earliest age
with sense perception
a baby behind tiny bars
or inescapable
walls of a bassinet cot
walls of a prison cot?
taken out put
back at our own
convenience
or lifted up with love?
time passes feeds
nappy changes
baths powders held
in loves welcome or?
a toddler behind bars
or walls of a play pen
a toddler given free range
conditioning individuality to conform
to condition to rules
social norms of society
control imposed for
parental convenience as
social acceptance
is imposed upon
unique individuality
constrained modeled into conformity
or control imposed
only for safety assurances
huge freedom given
to nurture grow confidence excel

And What Comes to Visit
Fresh from the tabloids:
'We All Are the Aliens'
We all are strange and distant people.
Segmented with traditions implanted with restrictions,
And dissected to produce 'reason'.
Set within indifferences!
And mystified upon discovering,
Yet another development of natures' Whipped Mixtures'
Those in isolation...
In fear of their own reflections being threatened,
Are lost!
And have paid the cost to incite conflicts!
But today...
An end comes to their 'sickened appetites'.
A light bright beams.
The enormity of it,
Stops all movement quick!
And what comes to visit...
Will shut lips,
Forever...
About that which was known before it landed.
As 'Truth' descends with unquestionable power!

Mind Fed Rituals
When determined people,
Pray to God to have their way...
And God sends to them messengers,
To scream from bullhorns...
This is not going to happen.
Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
Leave people like this.
These people only value,
The physical aspects of life.
People like this will make their mission,
To enlist others to value their point of view.
Even to select and depict those unknowing,
They have been chosen as culprits...
By someone who did not like,
How they were told...
To remove their rose colored glasses!
Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
Leave people like this.
These people only value,
The physical aspects of life.
And the 'spiritual' side of it...
Is a routine of mind fed rituals,
Outdated by a lack indepth perception.
Leave people like this.
Do not attempt to make bargains...
With the use of common sense.
A common sense for many,
That has been diluted.

Eternally Fortified
There is a place...
Deep within the crevices,
Of their recessed minds!
Where they perceived themselves envied.
Conditioned to believe they were in possession,
What others wanted to take.
Others wanted so badly...
They felt a need to defend themselves,
With weapons and attitude.
They believed themselves highly educated.
Although a few...
Even with degrees,
Could comprehend, read or write.
Even fewer than that,
Had common sense.
And those who did express it,
Were feared!
Even though rarely used.
One day when they awakened,
To address what had been rumored,
As 'reality'!
They found their greatness gone.
They discovered those they despised...
Could care less who they were.
In fact...
They had the better lives!
'Where is my mink, Harry?
Is it still in storage? '
Who tricked these people into beliefs,
Of nonsense?
Who damaged their minds?
And left them quite densed?
Whose standards and quality of life,
Depleted over night?
'Certainly not mine.
I still have tons of caviar! '
Who finally discovered they had worshipped,
Decadence and greed?
Who finds they are economically busted?
With a sick point of view...
That has left them to grieve?
'Harry...
Is that 'you' in there,
Doing that Orson Welles imitation?
I wish you would stop it.
It's so annoying.
Come help me select fabric,
For drapes.'
And...
Even if they solicited,
No where would they discover...
Anyone to show them,
Empathy or sympathy!
And even with this acknowledged...
They 'still' perceived themselves,
The envy of those filled with jealousy!
'That's a 'keeper'.
I love that line.'
Even those who loaned them money.
And owned everything they had!
Including their property and mentalities!
Did not express sadness.
'Don't worry!
They will never take away our racism!
And 'that' we will keep eternally fortified.
We must remain encouraged!
We must...
Maintain our birthright.
Let us now descend,
Within the bowels of our caves!
These theme parties are getting more extravagant.
You're going to love what I did.
I had a designer to do each room,
To my specifications.
So authentic!
You are not going to believe the detail.'

Wizards of Illusion
Common sense?
Those who are discovered with it,
Are rare.
And leaves those believing...
An ivy league school,
Is where one can get this.
At someone's foolish expense.
With a jealousy directed to a few...
Who obtain scholarships.
As if this promotes and bestows,
An advantage for others that does not exist.
But common sense goes unused,
Frequently...
By those trying to fit their feet...
In shoes too small,
And minds unprepared...
To explain how they are ever going to wear them!
And yet,
Many do manage to amaze shocked masses,
Who eventually become influenced by such trickery.
To the point where they find themselves,
Supporting such 'wizards' of illusion.

Anguish, pain, misery, sorrow and retribution
Some say life is full of anguish,
old man once sang that life is full of pain
some even preach that life comes fully laced with misery and sorrow,
and some believe that life offers no retribution
ideas clearly instilled in the hearts and souls of many a man,
but the truth of the matter is,
life is anguish,
life is pain,
life is misery and sorrow,
in the same way as rain is water
and water is rain
for where can one get one`s own share of anguish,
who`d we ever have known pain if we never had life
without life, would we live through misery and sorrow
life in itself is retribution,
for he who has life can stand ground against
anguish, pain, misery and sorrow
and live to see brighter days seemingly unscathed
but woo to he who loses his life
in anguish, or pain, or misery , or sorrow
for he will receive no further retribution
and he will depart this earth with nothing but
anguish, pain, misery, sorrow
and retribution lost

Entwined In Concepts
Both of their minds were entwined in concepts of relationships.
Wanting their own to be one that was perfect.
And defining that with having good credit.
With things believed that would keep them in bliss.
And when these 'things' began to lose their sheen...
Less interest in themselves slowly could be seen.
The need to constantly be together became a non-necessity.
With a wish to be alone in one's own space.
In a place the other was either invited...
Or not invited to be.
And a love between them,
Although expressed...
Was missed.
Leaving dreams and desires,
To be held and kissed...
Becoming less obsessive.
And often dismissed.
As those things cherished gathered dust with time.
There was an emptiness felt!
And invited.
Under one roof where no happiness once there,
For them.
No longer, for them, they could find!
Yet and regretfully...
Both of their minds were entwined in concepts of relationships.
Wanting their own, they did, to be one that was perfect.
And defining that with having good credit.
Loans and debts could not keep this correct.
With things believed that would keep them in bliss.
Gone was 'that' and any remnants of happiness.
And when their credit became less than good.
They found themselves in arguments...
Blaming the other for a wasted life spent.
And agreeing to split is what they should do,
To prove this less the expensive.
With a being together for them now making less sense.
As they express to others,
They've done the best they could.
But a love to make better wasn't theirs to save.
Nor was it there from the beginning!
And this had been the costly mistake they made!

Reprieved
How strange it is to be pain free
after long years of misery.
A life confined to my wheelchair
I found was difficult to bear.
I tried to bear it patiently
and clung to one hope stubbornly
That they would find a cure for me
and once again I would be free.
To live quite independently.
Take control of my destiny
To come and go just as I pleased,
from my paralysis released.
Freedom took me by surprise.
It took a while to realise
that I was free completely free
no longer tied to my body.
I had not thought of death as kind
. I can see now that I was blind
Death turned the key to set me free
and I rejoice exultantly.
I’ve left a hollow shell behind.
I spread my wings and go to find
those that I loved who’ve gone before.
I do not think I’d ask for more.

Lost in everything
Lost in thought
lost in pain
lost in fear
that you can never retain!
Lost in trouble
lost in grief
lost in heartbreak
that you can never relief!
Lost in sorrow
lost in death
lost in misery
That you can never refresh!
Lost in life
lost in words
lost in everything
That you can never return!
Lost in chaos
lost in peace
lost in burdens
that you can never release!
Because these are the things
we think and feel
through the good and the bad
It's a forever done deal!
