Imus
Imus tells you...
Ignorance is not bliss.
Imus says to you now,
Some stench has got to quit.
Comments made of 'shady' grade...
Describes a climate that fits.
But what Imus says
Is already in people's heads
And got there through a media
Of all kinds that spreads.
Imus tells you...
Told you Imus did.
And what Imus represents,
Is the taste of a dollar bill...
That is always up for bids!
And Imus did what Imus does well!
Imus knows what he's doing...
Because Imus knows how to sell!
Imus shows us raw our views...
Not on the threshold of heaven,
But on the heated denials
Of a daily hell we spew!

My goal is to goad people into saying something that ruins their life.
You can't get much more liberal than John Kerry is. I mean, he's my candidate, but, I mean, come on.
For years Don Imus was just - boy, he was merciless in his criticism of me. Maybe it was justified, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt.

Hang Down Your Head Kelly Tilghman
This time tomorrow
Reckon where I'll be
Down in some lonesome valley
Hangin' from a white oak tree (The Kingston Trio)
Kelly thought she was being cute,
Kelly thought she had made a funny,
Golf Central would not fire her,
As she is a woman,
Not being Rush, Imus, Jimmy the Greek Snyder,
They were men.
She is of course blonde, so is Caitlin Upton,
Maybe that explains the fact,
Golf Central would not fire her.
She stated that the only way the upcoming golfer would defeat Tiger Woods,
If they would beat him up, like Tonya Harding did to Nancy Kerrigan,
Further more they should 'lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley.'
If the KKK would have been paying her I would understand,
But if, not she could have been playing bedroom course,
She could have been playing on the course where there is easy “lay” on the turf,
She was a caddy to Arnold Palmer,
She could have kissed his balls while he ventured out the first ho’,
That would make his putter stand up.
Golf Central still would not fire her.

Open My Eyes
(ian hunter/darrel bath)
(transcribed by colin ford)
On the avenue of dead umbrellas
In a place where nothin sleeps
No ones pickin up the pieces - no one speaks
Snow falls down - God dusts funky town
For once this place looks pure
Tell that to the people who live in the wind - they aint so sure
In the middle of a violent night - in the glare of a naked light
In the middle of a nightmare
At the bottom of the deepest well - in the middle of a private hell
Shit scared - out there - nowhere
Then I open my eyes - ice on the window - the sun is tryin to break through
Then I open my eyes - in the land of the livin - and its all right
Seen a man rattle in a battle that no one could win
I had to turn my soul away
Shits gonna happen - whether you like it or not
S just the way it is
Then I open my eyes - boats on the river - headin down the east side
Then I open my eyes - and the trash(? ) slips away
Soft and supple - like some alibi
You been walkin in her sleep - there aint no cure for the secrets you hide
In the middle of my wildest dream - in a place where nothins what it seems
At the time of a great loss
From the hoods and the broken homes - this dangers got a smell of its own
In the middle of c-c-chaos
In the valley of the shadow of death - the bellevue boys out kickin ass
In the middle of fire
Inside the belly of the beast - in a place where wonders never cease
You go higher, higher, higher
Then I open my eyes - life in a nutshell - its over fore you know it
Then I open my eyes
And the city wakes up - puts coffee in cups - when I open my eyes
And the kids go to school - imus rules - when I open my eyes
I love you n you love me
N it rains so I buy an umbrella from the guy on 23rd and second avenue

Too Much Of Heaven (rough Edit)
Too much of heaven
Can bring you underground
Heaven
Can always turn around
Too much of heaven
A life and soul hell bound
Heaven
The killer makes no sound
They're still talk about money
That's right and too much of heaven
C'mon my friend
Ley me tell you what it's all about
It's called money dependence today
And people just keep going on looking at the dollar bill
And nothing else around them
No love no friendship nothing else
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket
Into their bank account and that's
Too much of heaven bringing them underground
Let me tell you what it's all about
It's called money dependence today
And people just keep going on looking at the dollar bill
And nothing else around them
No love no friendship nothing else
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket
Into their bank account
The answer
Is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing
Oh let me tell you what it's all about
Too much of heaven bring you underground

Every Face Tells A Story
Look at the man in the corner, hes sitting all alone
His blankets are made out of cardboard,
His pillows are made out of stone
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
See the man walking on the water, see the light in his eyes
He came into the world with a message to tell,
He came into the world to die
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Youre always telling stories, youre always telling me lies
Youre always telling stories, why?
So think of yourself in the water, seeing your days flashing by
Its too late to see what you wanted to be,
Youve spent all your time, you must die
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Step down
And make it work out right
Im trying to get to you with my warning
Been there
For nearly half the night
Look its nearly four in the morning

I Don't Welcome Bitter Fits
I don't have a spicy tongue,
Normally exposed.
Until somebody stands too close,
To step on my toes.
I don't welcome bitter fits,
Instantly to show...
To anybody who should know,
When to get up and go.
I am respectful,
Until I can't be...
To those people unaware,
Of what this means.
I try to be accountable,
Without apologies.
I make sure I'm there,
Taking care...
Of responsibilities.
I don't welcome bitter fits,
Instantly to show...
To anybody who should know,
When to get up and go.
I don't have a spicy tongue,
Normally exposed.
Until somebody stands too close,
To step on my toes.
And when somebody does that,
My ignorance shows.
I don't welcome bitter fits,
Instantly to show...
To anybody who should know,
When to get up and go.
I don't have a spicy tongue,
Normally exposed.
Until somebody stands too close,
To step on my toes.
And when somebody does that,
My ignorance shows.
I am respectful,
Until I can't be...
To those people unaware,
Of what this means.
I am respectful,
Until I can't be...
To those people unaware,
Of what this means.
I don't welcome bitter fits,
Instantly to show...
To anybody who should know,
When to get up, leave and go.
I can be respectful,
Until I can't be...
To anybody unaware of what this means.
And I don't welcome bitter fits.
Or think of them as benefits...
When somebody gets me heated,
And my ignorance shows...
The moment someone gets too close to step on my toes.

Demon voice
he tells me to fight not to walk away
he tells me to scream not to talk rational
he tells me to hate not to forgive
he tells me destroy not to create
he tells me to give in
he tells me to kill
he knows i'm getting weaker
he knows it's almost his time
he knows he will be free
he knows he will have fun
he knows it will be a bloody ride to the end
he knows the end is death and so do i

Sonnet: The Man of God
Blest is the man who spreads the Word of God
To people who have never heard of it!
He serves like an instrument of the lord
And salvages some souls meant for the ‘Pit’.
Blest is the man who quotes the Scriptures well
And interprets them rightly for God’s cause!
He saves some sinners heading to sure hell
And brings more souls to Heaven with less loss.
Blest is the man who guides people to Light!
Rescuing them from Eternal darkness;
He knows the way to Heaven by foresight,
And delivers men from devil’s harness.
Blest is the man of God who spreads gospels!
For, Holy Spirit speaks through him and tells.

Mirrors Never Lie
Looking into a mirror, can reveal the deepest secrets a person has.
It tells you who you really are, even if you’re trying to hide it.
It’s amazing what people can hide, when they smile or laugh.
They can be the saddest people in the world and no one will ever know.
Except a mirror.
You may be able to lie to others,
But when you look into a mirror, you can’t lie to yourself.
The mirror shows you what’s inside, and how you feel.
It tells you how beautiful you really are, and it shows you.
Looking into the mirror is like looking into your soul,
You look at yourself, you judge yourself.
But you see more than normal people do when you look in a mirror.
Because they only see you from the outside.
So remember that the next time you look in a mirror,
You are looking at your true self,
Because mirrors never lie.

Moveon is not a one-way broadcast media. The Internet, when used best, is a two-way media. We have a forum in which people can post comments and those comments can be rated. We get a sense of what people feel most passionately about.

Woman is heaven
Woman is a heaven to man
And she is barren without man.
Man finds his heaven in woman
And shows her she is the heaven.
Woman for woman is a hell.
Two men together make a hell.
To turn the hell into a heaven,
Man and woman must cross over.
Heaven cannot be a heaven
If it has no inhabitants.
Woman must understand this fact
And accommodate man with love.

A duck praised a goose for her rich songs
And wanted the goose to comment her songs,
Which she did as the propriety demanded.
The duck believed true the comments made.
A nightingale was singing alone unheard.

Nature tells me
Nature tells me not to be proud
of my riches for I am not
much richer than her.
Nature tells me not to be proud
of my beauty for I am not

Nature tells me not to be proud
of my kindness for I am not
much kinder than her.
Nature tells me not to be proud
of my generosity for I am not

Nature tells me not to be proud
of my logicality for I am not

Nature tells me not to be proud
of my judiciousness for I am not

Nature tells me not to be proud

much prouder than her.

Homegrown
If I was an unknown...
Would I be a better habit?
If you could not cast your eyes upon me,
Would you care to not freely,
Daily let me 'have it'?
I would walk about,
Without your 'penetrating' burn!
You could save those actions made,
For someone else you've chosen to earn.
And if you had not known my views,
Or my philosophy that's kept.
You would not think of me publicly,
In terms to belittle to spew words of disrespect!
Why bother taking time for that?
Your eyes may roll...
But you and I have never met!
If I was an unknown...
Would I be a better habit?
If you could not cast your eyes upon me,
Would you care to not freely,
Daily let me 'have it'?
Or are those signs of implied affection?
And in my 'imperfections' stated...
I've misunderstood your comments!
And I've should have dispelled...
Your loud obnoxious yells,
As a way of showing me you are actually elated! ?
I had not known!
Since like you...
I am also homegrown!

Bill Cosby
No punches pulled!
Straight up and in your face.
A man tells of disturbing events...
Absolutely making no sense.
Speaks he does,
To a particular race.
And what they continue to do,
To themselves and children too...
Is a disgrace!
And saying so,
A stance he takes!
How can lack of discipline,
Be something to be admired?
How can uninspired people...
Expect so much,
With a collapse of disregard.
Entertained by fantasy!
Fed by delusion.
Nourishing empty minds long retired!
A heritage disrespected...
From neglect and irresponsibility.
Slipping and sliding into oblivion.
A conformity wished...
That is blissed with unconsciousness!
This truth expressed.
Is this the hopelessness digested?
Publicly addressed...
Are the comments of Bill Cosby!

Interviewed To Spew
Remember those days
People were granted to give
Their unsolicited opinions
As if given a spotlight
To voice their views
From atop a soapbox to spew
And those listening
Would either be empathetic or amused
But did not openly disrespect
As many are accustomed
And have grown to do
Today
People are standing in line
To be interviewed to spew
And many are turned away
Because they are told
They are not qualified to be upset
But to leave their telephone number
With a forwarding address
In the event there should be
A window of opportunity for them to open

The Smoke Of Truth....
from fire
always comes out
smoke
this is the one
that tells the truth
when it goes out
of the window
it tells the skies
it shows
the telltales
to the earth
intertwines
with the rays of
the sun
bearing witness
then
gone

It's Your Niche
Some people...
Rather sleep than leap.
Some people...
Can't get up on their own two feet.
And some people...
Seek defeat!
While some people...
Tease a sleaze to keep that peeped.
But it's your niche...
That must be pitched.
The one that fits.
And doesn't quit one bit.
Yes it's your niche.
That must be pitched.
The one that fits,
And doesn't quit one bit!
Some people...
Rather sleep than leap.
Some people...
Can't get up on their own two feet.
But it's your niche...
That must be pitched.
The one that fits.
And doesn't quit one bit.
Some people...

While some people...

But it's your niche...
That must be pitched.
The one that fits.
And doesn't quit one bit.
Yes it's your niche.
That must be pitched.
The one that fits,
And doesn't quit one bit!
Some people...
Don't have a niche.
Some people...
Give up too easy and they quit.
Some people...
Don't have a niche.
Some people...
May have a scratch but have no itch.
