If It's In Their Blood

Rushed justifications,
Are outdated applications...
Applied today.
By those who enforce and try to endorse them.
Using techniques that never worked...
But incompetence does not offer that,
As an assessment tool for fools to use.

The obviousness of dismissed discipline,
Has fallen on the shoulders...
Of those who are older.
And...
Quick to use excuses,
To warrant their denials.
They would rather find others guilty
And put them on trial.

Folks are still looking,
For a way to toast their ill gotten gains.
Even still they are on the prowl,
To boost and boast their bloated egos.
To show themselves above and 'beyond'.
Although most are just filled with hot air.
Unaware no one cares...
If they should stay 'beyond'
And untouchable!

As long as they do not leave behind,
Their ignorance.
And a lot of that they do leave behind.
To circumvent any progress intended.
Or contemplated and meant.

With few wishing to be in the same space,
To hobnob with those of such mindlessness.
To hear nonsense spilling from the mouths,
Of the ones choosing to hide insecurities...
Behind plastic faces!
Trying to fake remnants of honesty.

Truth and honesty?
Integrity with a dignity...
Expressed with identity?
Are you kidding me?
Seriously...
Are you?

Those days are evaporating...
Faster than water can be found in Death Valley.
And all you will see in Death Valley are vulchers,
Picking over skeletal remains.
Or something that looks as if it had been alive.
Or wished that it could have been.
And did just that...
With an avoidance to pretensions.

It looks as if reality for some is here to stay.
For others...?
They will never know what it is to address it.
Or become satisfied...
If and when it ever should become acknowledged!
They will still charade.
It is in their blood to do so!

Yes! It is.
It is not hidden.
It is in their blood...
Or DNA
If one chooses to say it that way!
To dip in sin,
To tease like demons...
And solicit the weak to be wicked!
As if that is their mission.
To fulfill demented ambitions.

If it wasn't...
Why does so much of it exist?
The evil and the wickedness.
And depicted on TV.
As is preached from pulpits.

Their quality of life they now find rotten...
Has been based upon all of it!
How can that be corrected?
When not one bit of it has been created from truth!
How can anyone correct minds,
Accustomed to being used and abused!
And encouraged to uncover similarities like these...
To keep a disturbance nurtured in this diminishment!

If it's in their blood.

And that's where the conflict is!

Overblown

Remember when this nonsense began,
And you said that it didn't...
And dismissed it?
Remember when
The affects of this started,
To ripple in the wind?
And again you said I was demented?

I don't deny being patriotic then,
Or speaking my mind for unpopular causes.
Publicly crying and singing the blues?
I did that and receive shoulders that were frosted!

But never did I once,
Think I would see these days...
When ignorance would become popular,
And foolishness was praised!
Never did I think,
Values upheld would sit on the brink.
And tumble in the valley ushered there by the crazed!

Watching as I do,
A quality of life I screamed to save...
Be disrespected and accepted,
As it is in this way!

Remember when this nonsense began,
And you said that it didn't...
And dismissed it?
Remember when
The affects of this started...
Rippling gently in the wind?
And again you said I was demented,
'Retarded! '

Remember me saying your denials will come to haunt?
And your stubbornness is nothing for you to flaunt?
Remember me trying to pull you aside?
Trying to shake you awake...
Before this madness created an outbreak,
That will rise?
Remember when you told me to leave you alone?
Well...
You have finally gotten your wish,
And this unconditional chaos you allowed to grow
Unresisted...
Like your unattractive hips!
With you and others like this,
Who are blinded in surrounded 'crisis bliss'...
Has overblown!
'That' is the message you did not get,
But sits condoned!

Blood Red

Peaceful confrontation meet war machine
Seizing all civil liberties
Honest ballotation among banshee
Spilling blood throughout humanity

You cannot hide the face of death
Oppression ruled by bloodshed
No disguise can deface evil
The massacre of innocent people

Deviated lies fear blinding on your eyes
Enforcing their truth through a gun
Aggressive discipline and barbaric control
Thousands of people cannot be wrong

You cannot hide the face of death
Oppression ruled by bloodshed
No disguise can hide the evil
That stains the primitive sickle

Blood red

How Am I Qualified?

How am I qualified?
I would not be selected,
To be in your presence!
What experience do I have?
Has anything you verified,
Been connected or tied to corruption?
My life is based on 'fact'...
Not on created lies!
I am here to replace a mess,
I did not create.
I am here to achieve...
Not sit around and fake!
What did I like about my last position?
Leaving it in a better condition.
What did I dislike and why?
Being surrounded by incompetence.
And being around people who made no sense...
And got paid.
Proving I can correct mistakes,
Others had made.
Being taken for granted.
And having my point of view slanted.
Having my character slandered and despised.
Seeing people backstab and creating viscious alibis.
Gossipying and not doing tasks assigned.
Dining on the clock and whining all the time!
Why should you hire me?
That's a decision you must make.
But if you take a look out of your window...
And leave those pretensions you have behind.
You will discover there are very few left...
Who are 'not' completely out of their minds.
You are not going to find anyone like me...
For that fee to continue to swallow your BS,
And smother your crimes!
Let's get real here.
If you don't hire me...
Who else will you get?
To protect what's left of a quality of life,
You did your best to keep away from me.
Now that infestation has defected your reality.
And for years I've been getting you to hear and see...
Without me you will never do things right!
That's why you have few peaceful nights.
How am I qualified?
I've stood by and watched you,
Defy your own ignorance,
To spite everything I am.
Including my intelligence.
If you don't hire me and my honesty...
You will never climb out of the hole,
That swallows you as it grows.
How am I qualified?
I would not be selected,
To be in your presence!
With a mind still clear...
That is competent and bold!
And that clearly has not happened here!
I do not fear success or working at my best.
I may be more than qualified.
Judging from the surprised look you have in your eyes.
I would call what I have 'integrity'.
And if you don't hire me...
It will be the last of it you see!
And I hope you wont gamble with this opportunity.
Especially at these prices you offer and wish to pay!
Consider this deal a steal!

People Aren't Wearing Their Pretentions Anymore

One thing is certain.
And you will know this for sure!
Gone are those days,
When pretending to be someone's friend...
Has come to a halt!
That has finally come to an end!

People will be looking for evidence.
And just saying you have friends...
Is going to be more valued,
Than anything you 'thought' you owned.
The times we now live will reveal this!
And 'if' you have been working,
To maintain appearances?
Many will find those 'appearances' foreclosed!
Nothing they 'owned'
Can be shown!
Not so much from lack of payment...
But from an introduction to reality!
And 'this' many will find themselves lacking.
Since 'reality' for them produced no backing!
Few had kept track...
Of the importance of keeping,
Themselves attached to facts!

Now they run stunned,
From a truth that attacks!

A reality that crushes perceptions,
Of what is desired most!
Some will find a closeness is needed.
And deceptions will uncover...
Denials suffered and discovered.
With some in recovery,
Hopefully with others!

Someone is sought to be trusted,
These days.
And if you have rushed to purchase that trust...
Guess what?
You and what you have worked to achieve...
Is as useless as your fake smile!
That has been poisoned with this disease.
And 'that' is no longer the standard.
Or accepted like tantrums of a child!

Not in these times as folks are trying to find...
Something of substance that is far more reliable!
And a selective way of life and outlook,
Has become fruitless, unnourishing...
Outdated and passé!
Like judgements passed for quick trials!

People aren't wearing their pretentions anymore.
And you with your charades displayed,
May just find yourself...
Among those who are left,
Who are feeling not only guilt...
But a disgust that has been much betrayed!

Stale and Cussed Filled Basements

There are those who had been nourished,
Based upon the looks of 'things'.
And not on quality or valued substance!

Familiar faces of those are compared to others.
Leaving deeds done ignored and undiscovered!
And as time goes by...
So comes with it the fading of 'things'!
An aging brings with it,
A change of outlook and accustomed habits!
And those who chose not to relate to 'this'...
Find the substance in their own lives,
Below an expected standard that exists.
Time does not address...
Who is or who is not,
Prepared for it to shift!

And those they thought they knew,
Go unknown to hide in shadows accepted.
And the saddest part of this revelation?
Most of them are related by blood.
In relationships gifted yet dismissed,
With an absence of kinship understood...
Or shared!
Or the caring of anyone aware of it!

No one seems to be at 'home'...
In their minds or anywhere!
And the few discovered that are?
Have never adventured into the attic.
To explore what maybe a treasure up 'there'!
Preferring to sit rusting with visions dusted...
In stale and cussed filled basements!
Expressing agitation.
And waiting to be rescued from darkened corners.
Insisting what they have chosen has not been welcomed!
With an ignorance applied that had once satisfied!
In denial!
Until sunlight comes with someone who knocks,
To crack open an unlocked door...
To expose them to one with wrinkled skin!

Glitz, Glimmer and Rhinestone

For some reason,
Glitz, glimmer and rhinestone...
Seem to go together.
Like movies and TV.
And some people overheard in conversation.

If someone is in the need of costuming,
To enhance a 'theme'...
Or dress up to play 'make believe',
One would think people generally leave the 'real' stuff
Behind...
With an acknowledgement in their minds,
There is a time and a place that seperates fact...
From fiction.
And making long lasting impressions,
Requires one to be in touch with a bit of honesty.
At least the kind of honesty that is removed from gloss.

Unless...
Everyone has been in costume.
And those accustomed to being fake...
Take for granted,
That everything connected to life...
As they know life to be,
Has always been one they fantasized.
And lieing to oneself is accepted.
Since going through the motions is all one knows.

Isn't fake the new reality,
Today.
Even when the cameras are 'on'.
To catch what it is,
Being what it is!
Whatever 'What-it-is'...
Is!
And folks are being paid to...
Downgrade!
THAT is 'reality' for far too many people!

Increasingly Addicted

Cultural and self hate issues,
Will remain to stay...
For those unable to face them to correct.
With a choosing to view them not as foolish,
But choices made embedded forever to accept.

And people living where hate crimes exist,
Have been fed with beliefs what is done is moralistic.
With a hoping that a praying of truths away...
Will someday validate their animalistic ways.

Many are embarrassed by realities.
Believing themselves immuned...
From truth obvious and seen.
Too many have been taught truth demeans.

And many are rooted in concepts held,
That if a telling of a lie is kept long enough...
Their denials will rise to heights.
And facts that exist will vanish from their eyes.

Cultural and self hate issues,
Will remain to stay...
For those unable to face them to correct.
With a choosing to view them not as foolish...
But tools to use to abuse for amusement.

Labelling people evil who speak with truth,
To keep lives lived unchanged and deluded...
Only transfers those minds medicated on fantasies,
To become increasingly addicted...
Limited and mentally sick.
For all eventually wishing to awaken from this!

The Need You Have To Charade

Ever since I've known you,
You've done your best not to admit...
Insecurities you have.
And those habits that exist.
Done as if...
I am not aware.
Or conscious when you declare...
You have other things on your mind.

And when you find the time,
You will work on those things
Needing your attention to mend.
And this you admit!

Since this and other things are accepted,
By your friends...
Why do I seem the only one,
Offended by them?

Maybe there is a reality...
I suspect you have!
But have not seen begin.

Perhaps I am the only one,
Who tires from hearing your creative excuses.
Freshly made to hide behind your masquerades.

And they have long been outdated.
Just like the fake loyalty of your so called friends.

Although I do understand the need you have to charade.
It is your addiction to self abuse,
I do not find amusing.

Shunned to Slander Those Wholesome

Shunned to slander those wholesome,
They did.
In protection of their standards.
In the hopes they would be long lived.

Good people they ruined...
In belief their quality of life was attacked,
By those who spoke with honesty!
To reveal to them a truth with facts.

Oh...
The people did not like that.
Especially those self righteous.
They vowed to keep their 'ways' intact.
And they campaigned against,
Those who abhorred them.
So those opposing...
Received cold shoulders.

Foolish now they feel.
Those who threw their noses up...
With such exuberant zest,
Thought to appeal.

Although now victims of their own ignorance,
They wish a forgiveness released will heal!
But those who spoke truth,
With a desire to save them...
From uncouth sleuths!

Freed from the wicked!
And choosing not to sacrifice their peace of mind.
Since doing that to retrack a past...
Could not mend a trashing meant to last.

Living in the 'now' with truth...
Had been pursued with others to share.
But too many then had valued their pretensions.
And their eyes now reveal...
A longing to erase their despair.

With a hunger someone approaches.
To offer them empathy.
And excuse their indignities shown!
But who can believe those fed to greed?
Or the depths of their embedded deceit...
Too well dispensed.
And too well known!

Lifted From Deep Sorrow

You came to leave.
Not stay.
You came to do as you pleased.
And then when you were done,
You were off to another one to 'do'.

You came to leave.
I was hoping you would stay.
I wanted to believe this was your wish.
But you just came to sniff and lick.
And I held onto foolish dreams...
You could not fulfill if I wished!

You came to leave.
Not stay.
You came to do as you pleased.
And then when you were done,
You were off to another one to 'do'.

I sat thinking of you,
When you were gone and through with me.
I wish I could not feel you grieving.
But I do!
I was just like you...
Before I cut my pain loose.
But your pain,
You desire to keep remaining in the gutter.

You came to leave.
I was hoping you would stay.
I was hoping...
Something you saw in my eyes,
You would recognize...
Had been lifted from deep sorrow.
But you never looked up...
To witness my approval of your 'business' visit.

I was satisfied...
Yes!
But never regard me,
As a client wishing for your return!
I am seeking someone to specialize my needs.
And although you are good...
I do not think of you as the one to qualify,
As a fireside companion!

When my embers burn...
They do so,
For the one who chooses to stay...
As we together ignite those sparks.
And you...
Are just a quick flicker.
To leave me ablaze,
Before you decide to go out!
And I am no longer about that.

I have a lifetime of logs left to simmer,
For the one who comes...
And enjoys what we can together sizzle!

Not Here to Play The Dozen's

Hello?
Is there a light on in your attic?
Obviously not.
Unfortunately,
There is nothing dimming at all in your head.
At least give me eye contact,
So I feel as if something said is being heard,
And shared.

You ignoring me,
Is a favor done you wont believe.
I don't have to put up with your ignorance.
Or tolerate disrespect from no one.
In fact,
Give me more distance.

I live in this community.
And I am familiar with the neighborhood.
What happens here and what folks do to themselves,
May be entertaining to you.
And I could care less if you disagree with me.
But you folks have been programmed,
To invite your own unexpected deaths.

I have integrity and some dignity left,
That has of yet been taken.
And I have identity.
Of that you have none.
My comprehending of that has long been numbed.
To the point it is no longer heartbreaking.
Nor am I one to fake unity!
It aint happenin'.
And if it is I'd like to know where?

But let me say this...
To get this over with quick.
You can act as if I am invisible,
If that helps you pretend I do not exist.
However...
Do not 'think' I have to put up with your 'stupidity'
Because others get a kick out of it!

I am not into self destruction.
Or folks who make excuses to self abuse themselves.
And I know you don't understand this,
Because your mama didn't teach you.
And your father refuses to be a man.
And I know you don't understand 'that'.
Nor am I here to play the 'dozen's with you.
Truth I do not play with!

Too many of you have been pitched the taste for truth.
But you'd rather do a genocide on yourselves,
Better than 'the man' can!
And your ignorance has been addicted to keep that focused.
But nothing done I do is a mirage.
I'm here to snap your ass awake.
Don't get that messed up with your sugared cookies.

Hurting From Inside

Pretensions used as a defense fails.
A truth of a reality,
Impales an ignorance.
They wish the blood that seeps,
Stops an honesty that can not be faced.
But they are not willing to heal the pain,
Hurting from inside.
They wish alone to cry.

The bleeding does not subside.
And denial keeps them fading,
With false dignities!
Exposing a tattered pride that all can see.
This is perceived to conceal their grief.
And yet it is not hidden!

A cure desired does not publicly endure,
Their constant sorrows.
They choose to refuse to admit,
The origin of their pain!
Denouncing the reason why they see no gains!
And they remain,
Lost amongst themselves...
Without identities.

Cain And Abel

When Adam fell he quickly lost
God's image, which he once possessed:
See All our nature since could boast
In Cain, his first-born Son, expressed!

The sacrifice the Lord ordained
In type of the Redeemer's blood,
Self-righteous reas'ning Cain disdained,
And thought his own first-fruits as good.

Yet rage and envy filled his mind,
When, with a fallen, downcast look,
He saw his brother favor find,
Who God's appointed method took.

By Cain's own hand, good Abel died,
Because the Lord approved his faith;
And, when his blood for vengeance cried,
He vainly thought to hide his death.

Such was the wicked murd'rer Cain,
And such by nature still are we,
Until by grace we're born again,
Malicious, blind and proud, as he.

Like him the way of grace we slight,
And in our own devices trust;
Call evil good, and darkness light,
And hate and persecute the just.

The saints, in every age and place,
Have found this history fulfilled;
The numbers all our thoughts surpass
Of Abels, whom the Cains have killed!

Thus Jesus fell - but O! his blood
Far better things than Abel's cries:
Obtains his murd'rers peace with God,
And gains them mansions in the skies.

Will All Eyes Suddenly Find They Are Wide Opened

Once upon a time...
Communism was a threat,
To the best of a quality of life...
Flourishing by those,
Who opposed the spread...
Of a controlled existence.

Now the ones who own the debt...
Are esteemed with high regard,
And shown respect!

Will they also say,
Those today depicted as terrorists...
To a way of life outsourced to feed the greedy,
To have people endorse their diminishing standards...
Bleeding from deceptions achieved.

Will they too be granted the dignity of an apology?
Or will those tricked,
Still adopt conflict...
As a means to express their brotherhood?
With a fellowship...
Even the founding forefathers,
Said as they battled...
One day a life lived in peace should resist,
The foolishness of conflict!

Or...
Will all eyes suddenly find they are wide opened,
In the discovery they have stood by
To cheer their own defeat!
As their resources become depleted,
By those they chose to follow...
Like sheep slaughtered to uphold false dignities,
Preached by those who leech upon their blindness.
To leave them kneeling with a hindsight deep in regret.
Controlled by their own ignorance,
And outrage.

A noble deed.

But yet I lie

Just like him

So where does that leave me
Lying in a cesspool of honesty
Or just merely keeping my head above water

Truth Comes Dropping Slow

It rained love...only love
but the rain didn't hear
the lamentation of my leaves,
I grieved for truth.
I craved for truth as it were blood
to paint my petals red again
and heal my wounded heart in pain
that's wounded by the rain.
For every dropp of love was like
a dagger piercing me...
pushing me to death as though
life's death is just a play.
I've gone astray -
searching for the truth;
only to find my petals
slowly kissing the ground
because truth comes dropping slow.
I cried till tears became my blood
yet truth comes dropping slow.
I died and found no truth in my grave
for truth comes dropping slow.
I died and found the common truth of life:
We all crave for truth, yet all of us lie.
Truth comes dropping slow
for all of us lie.

Finding Truth

They say that everyone lies
It is said that everyone will hurt you
They say honesty is the best policy
But what happens when we find the truth?

What if we find something we don't want to?
What if we find our life has been a lie?
What if we find all we ever worked for was for nothing?
What happens when we find the truth?

Is it possible to find truth within a person?
Can one person bring light into your world?
Can that one person make everything right?
Can finding that one person be like finding truth?

If it is possible then i believe i found truth
Truth to my life
Truth to everything i've searched for
Truth for the rest of my life.

The lies are over
My life complete
Truth to who i am
Which is all i ever wanted to know...to know just who i am.

This is dedicated to my g/f Gini, i love her so much.

Everywhere They Lead

It is clearly evidenced,

Which egos are adorned by limitation.
And whose priorities have been affected by insecurity.

Poisoned minds are blocking the strides of progress.
With digressive displays of ignorance.
That hampers those of intelligent intentions...
To deal with the postering of idiots!

It is clearly evidenced,
As to which minds are demented.
Which egos are adorned by limitation.
And whose priorities have been affected by insecurity.

Morons like this,
Have titles and positions all over the place.
And everywhere they 'lead'...
There is left unbelievable confusion.

Just to get around their incompetence,
Leaves those with a thought to think...
Doing their best,
Not to prove they can do it!
And...
To keep themselves as far away as possible,
From the mess the mindless have created.

Not Seduced By Gloss

The time to evaluate and assess one's life,
Should be done with a clear consciousness.
With a self examination taken day and night.

However...
Many do take flight from flaws they wish to cover.
Until all exits are closed that imposes,
One to face truth.
A truth that reduces its sweetness.
Or seduced by gloss one chooses others to perceive.

'And when a dark night rises,
Seekers to do evil prowl to dupe folks.
Fed by produced videos to boost wicked egos.'

What?

'I said...
The time to evaluate and assess one's life,
Should be done with a clear consciousness.
With a self examination taken day and night.'

But...
You didn't say that.

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist

Whatever is given.
And however that is meant.
Why do many get upset,
When they receive exactly...
What to them has been sent!

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist

Why is it believed,
By some.
What they do that has been done,
Is okay?
And an acceptance of it,
Should be kept that way.

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist

Too many people are the 'cause'.
And not the solution to prevent.
Or a pause that should be long taken,
With no attention given spent.

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist

Some have established themselves as 'saints'.
While others full of themselves,
Do not have to eliminate a single thing...
To emanate fumes from them that 'stink'.
And/or past tense from them that 'stank'!
Whatever is the preference.

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist

With their quick judgements to pass.
Like fresh air blocking gas.
A picture alone,
Paints a thousand words.

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist

Whatever is given.
And however that is meant.
Why do many get upset,
When they receive exactly...
What to them has been sent!
As intended upon the return ot it.
