Piety requires us to honor truth above our friends.

For though we love both the truth and our friends, piety requires us to honor the truth first.

Hymn 35 part 2
Truth, sincerity, etc.
Phil. 4:8.
Let those who bear the Christian name
Their holy vows fulfil;
The saints, the followers of the Lamb,
Are men of honor still.
True to the solemn oaths they take,
Though to their hurt they swear;
Constant and just to all they speak,
For God and angels hear.
Still with their lips their hearts agree,
Nor flatt'ring words devise;
They know the God of truth can see
Through every false disguise.
They hate th' appearance of a lie
In all the shapes it wears;
They live in truth, and when they die,
Eternal life is theirs.
While hypocrites and liars fly
Before the Judge's frown,
His faithful friends, who fear a lie,
Receive th' immortal crown.

(V - 2009) The Truth of the Truth
The Sages and Seers
That be and have been
Cannot have seen
The truth of the Truth!
What they see as Truth
Is Truth merely
It’s not really
The truth of the Truth!
The Ultimate Truth
Cannot be known
We aren’t that grown –
The truth of the Truth!
We’re part of the Truth
We’re trying to see
We’re yet so tiny –
The truth of the Truth!
Though hard and great
The pains we give
We cannot outlive
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to you once
Remains not the same
So changing the game –
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to a man
Is not Truth to all
That’s what we call
The truth of the Truth!
These thoughts as I pen
It’s Truth to me
It’s to me only
The truth of the Truth!
Prophets Without Honor
You may be a prophet without honor, in the home of an earthly father,
Mocked by a sister or a brother, also, misunderstood by your mother.
From the family you grew up in, you are now divided by Truth and sin,
For God’s Truth, in which you now abide, puts you on a different side.
Now, you have a Heavenly Father, who, with your life, you now honor,
And brothers and sisters in Christ, who support you, in your New Life.
Regarding old sin, we walk away, regardless what our family may say,
Striving together to do what’s right, hand in hand in our Savior’s Light.
With no honor from our own family, still living, just like we used to be,
Without the indwelling Holy Spirit, they’ll scoff at Truth as they hear it.
And only the Spirit can open the eyes, of those who claim to be wise,
So instead of twisting Truth they hear, they’d be filled with a holy fear.
Friend, a prophet is one whom God, uses while upon this earthly sod,
To share God’s Truth with all men, in a world, that stands condemned.
But, a prophet’s family may not heed, the saving Truth that they need,
As your witness for Christ our Lord, by your family, just goes ignored.
Friend that is why we need to pray, thus backing all the words we say,
So that all of the seeds we sow, will take root in their hearts and grow.
This, so that your natural family, will acknowledge the God of Eternity,
And then join us as a prophet of, Christ our Savior, who reigns above.

Being A Man
If being a man requires
Hitting and cheating a woman
I choose to be
A woman
If being a man requires
Not to do household chores
I choose to be
A woman
If being a man requires
Not protecting family
I choose to be
A woman
If being a woman requires
Loving a man
Then I choose to learn to be
A man rather than
A woman

Honor
we have lost our sense of honor.
honor's not something you win in
battle, not a crown for the victor,
not something you can build or buy.
honor is a way of life... and it begins
with respect.
we no longer respect the many forms
of life around us... hell, we're so busy
just trying to survive that we dont even
see life, much less know it!
every person, good, bad, or ugly, deserves
our respect... for they are merely in all their
glory, and in all their human weakness,
reflections of us... a part of us!
every form of life... dogs, cats, elephants, ants,
whales, turtles, trees, rivers, mountains...
deserve our respect... for they are a part
of us, and we of them...
so many of us are experiencing financial
failures, hunger, poverty, and distress...
and we feel like we've lost any sense of honor...
but a man and a woman's honor is not held
in these things...
it is held in the naked truth of what we do
next... whether we remain as self-oriented
islands, or whether we rejoin the sea and
the sky of life... together as one. only then
will we be an honorable people!

Oops! i swore in Gods Presence
I swear...
I Swear to tell the truth
The whole truth and nothing but the truth
So help me God!
That's why I'll correct you if you are:
Over privileged and undermining Snob
Sexist and gender oppressing Sob
Judgmental religious freak
Stereotypical and racist ignoramous
Because i swore to tell the truth
The whole truth and nothing but the truth
So....God helped me
So go on....tell Satan and his friends
Just because I SAY SO

I would not care whether truth is pleasant or unpleasant, and in consonance with or opposed to current views. I would not mind in the least whether truth is, or is not, a blow to the glory of my country. If necessary, I shall bear in patience the ridicule and slander of friends and society fo the sake of preaching truth. But still I shall seek truth, understand truth, and accept truth. This should be the firm resolve of a historian.
