I'd Like to See That Done
I'd like to throw a stone,
Into that glass house you live.
I'd like to see you out in reality...
Being honest with yourself as you give.
I'd like to see you dropp pretensions,
And all of that political correctness mess.
I'd like to see you be yourself again...
If 'that' from you has not yet left!
I'd like to see that done,
Before you are overcomed...
By repossessions and foreclosures!
I'd like to see you.
But not with the look of shock.
Or the stunning that has knocked you out,
In a bout with reality!

The Evolution of Belief
When I was just a child
I knelt and prayed, without question,
to a god as distant and, as meaningless
To me as any far-off star.
When I was young,
There was no need for God,
Since I thought I was undefeatable.
I held within my grasp the world,
And challenged all of life.
As I grew more toward middle-age,
I saw in almost everything,
A Reality, an inexplicable Correctness,
The essence of all being as One.
When I became an elder, it was then
I recognized the essence of Reality,
And Correctness, as nothing else but
God.

Superficiality
On the right side of leftover need,
Trying to dropp a want...
In an empty pot not heated.
And not use to steaming up,
A sympathy to catch...
An empathy others can not see,
Or feel.
This is the reality,
Of attempting to appeal
To a superficiality,
Too long fed on a diet of pretensions!

I Want My Reality On a Gradual Basis
You want this high or low?
'What? '
The blows of reality,
I am prepared to hit you with.
'Will they be painful? '
Let's just say,
When it happened to me...
I was glad to have been knocked out.
'Why? '
When I finally revived...
I was no longer excusing my limitations.
But it took several blows to my head...
To get some sense knocked into it!
'Make my blows low.
I can deal with the pain.
And I want a slower process.
I want my reality on a gradual basis,
To come to me.
I am not quick to adapt to changes.'

Give up the fight
Do you know what's worth fighting for?
When it's not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away and you feel
yourself suffocating?
Does the pain weigh out the pride?
And you look for a place to hide?
Did someone break your heart
inside, you're in ruins
One,21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One,21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I...
When you're at the end of the road
And you lost all sense of control
And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your
soul
Your faith walks on broken glass and the
hangover doesn't pass
Nothing's ever built to last, you're in ruins
One,21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One,21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I...
Did you try to live on your own?
When you burned down the house and
home?
Did you stand too close to the fire?
Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a
stone
When it's time to live and let die
And you can't get another try
Something inside this heart has died, you're
in ruins
One,21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One,21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
One,21 Guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One,21 Guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I

Y.. Reality
Reality
Is dark and gloomy
But I see so much light
Reality
Is negative and bad
But I see so much goodness
Reality
Is falsehood and deceit
But I see so much honesty
Reality
is ugly and hideous
But I see so much beauty
Reality may be changing slowly
Please try to see
Take a look together with me

One more fight
one more night
throw the left
throw the right
stay on my feet
don't get beat
take the pain
damaged brain
broken nose
broken jaw
cauliflower ear
end is near
knocked out
final bout
blood red
boxers dead.

What Is It They Don't Understand?
Why haven't they boarded the lifeboats?
~They first wish to discuss,
Political correctness and social etiquette.
And what 'is' or isn't poetic.~
AND...
They 'are' aware of the ship sinking?
~They first wish to discuss,
Political correctness and social etiquette.
And what 'is' or isn't poetic.~

The Obviousness Of Improprieties
Politically speaking,
How much correctness is left?
How much of it is there,
Yet to still be addressed?
And politically speaking...
Where are those willing to confess,
The business of their politics,
Whether right or left inspected...
Has spent too much time,
On addressing correctness.
A tremendous mess that has been left,
No longer impresses...
Those most affected,
By the obviousness of improprieties.
And,
Politically speaking...
Who is monitoring the effectiveness,
Shown to have been neglected.
And reflects upon a declining of a social etiquette.

Home
Without dreams, there's mo reality,
I have no dreams, no reality,
Every lock has its key,
I have no locks, no keys,
I have a life,
I don't live,
I will see death,
Which cherish,
Every moment I belong,
To no one else but me,
Seeking stone filled paths all alone,
I lost the word WE,
I have a big place,
So I may sleep,
Not a single shoulder,
So I can weep,
I have people,
I have no friends,
I have a mailbox,
Nobody sends,
I stay here,
I don't live,
I have many questions,
No answers to give,
The place i stay, is it my home?
But I'm not living,
It's just a place,
It's not home.......

Reality Sucks
O.k. maybe you know it better
Oh oh reality sucks
Nobody helps you to make it feel better
Oh oh reality sucks
And youre a dropout that stays away
Might be that evil took over
Oh oh reality sucks
Youre getting to old now
To cause a stampede
Oh oh reality sucks
So youre boozing your life away
Youre blown your brain away
Reality sucks
Oho reality sucks
Now you see your life has passed you by
Oh oh reality sucks
You took a shortcut
Through the junkyard of life
Maybe thats why reality sucks
Now youre boozing your life away
Blowing your head away
But dreams didnt make your day
cause reality sucks
Oh oh reality sucks
Reality sucks

The Impoverished Existance of Political Correctness
Political correctness
Is not definitive, by in or an outward of any projections
It but mere reflection of the times
What is right now
What guarantee of certainty for tomorrow
So these words in their impoverished existence
Could mean something
Or Could mean nothing
It's all an inheritance of chance
Gamblers know this game all to well
Another loss is the debt that must be paid
So when you speak of political correctness, express its possibilities of change.
With properties that can be rearranged.

Blooming 18
Reality reality reality is always
You tattooed yourself what a piece of art
Youve already broken your mothers heart
When I was your age working my ass off
Your generations soft
Reality is always such a drag
For barely blooming eighteens
The barely blooming eighteen
Wants to know
Whats keeping her from searching
You cannot pierce that and
Youre dressed too tight
Got a lot to learn about wrong and right
So dye you hair, dads gonna wash it out
Come on wash out your mouth
Reality is always such a drag
For barely blooming eighteens
The barely blooming eighteen
Wants to know
Whats hiding in the shadow
Reality reality reality is always
Reality is always...

When Have You Ever Dealt With It Anyway?
Hmmm...
Let's see.
What do 'I' recommend,
As a precaution to secure your immediate future?
I would protect what you most value!
'What would that be? '
First I would secure your medications.
You know...
The ones that numb the affects,
Of the things you can not digest.
The ones that keep your delusions protected.
Those that stimulate your pretensions best.
That's what I would do.
If I were you.
'So,
In other words...
Refuse any hints of reality?
Is that what you are saying to me? '
Hints? ? ?
Ignore reality altogether!
You've never expressed to having any use for it before.
When have you ever dealt with it anyway?

Fatality
Hey you, stuck dreaming of your perfect world,
But when they come, letting chances dropp cold.
Hey you, wishing for a perfect ending,
But when it comes, you're never daring.
You kept getting stuck cold out here,
So now you live in a fairyland far from here.
Stuck with your head in fantasy,
While it's out in front where you won't see.
Fuelling yourself on these great air towers
While you're lying in bed, alone for hours.
Crying out that someone would call your name,
When really, you only got yourself to blame!
You say that you want love? But when one comes with it,
You toss and throw them out.
These chances they come but they won't stay,
So you better take ahold before they, slip away!
So you're stuck inside a world you hate,
Surrounded by walls you can can't break.
Take a look in the mirror, tell me who you see?
Cause it took so long to get to me,
That this is reality: take a hold of a chances in front of me,
Or you're just another fatality, just another fatality.
And this reality,
You're just another fatality.

Edge Of Reality
(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
I walk along a thin line darling
Dark shadows follow me
Heres where lifes dream lies disillusioned
The edge of reality
Oh I can hear strange voices echo
Laughing with mockery
The border line of doom Im facing
The edge of reality
On the edge of reality she sits there tormenting me
The girl with the nameless face
On the edge of reality where she overpowers me
With fears that I cant explain
She drove me to the point of madness
The brink of misery
If shes not real then Im condemned to
The edge of reality
On the edge of reality she sits there tormenting me
The girl with the nameless face
On the edge of reality where she overpowers me
With fears that I cant explain
She drove me to the point of madness
The brink of misery
If shes not real then Im condemned to
The edge of reality

It Can Be Hard To Take
'What is fantasy? '
Devoid of any reality.
'What is reality? '
That depends on...
How much of it is being fed.
Where it comes from.
How much can one stomach.
How much is being regurgitated...
And what is left in the body to nourish one's mind.
'OH! ? So...
Why does 'reality' have to go through that process? '
It has always been that way.
It's just harder to digest.
And some folks have problems keeping it down!
It can be hard to take!
Especially on an empty stomach!

A tearaway
The tearaway,
would kick cans, throw litter,
play knock down ginger,
steal milk from doorsteps
and generally run amuck.
At 13, she left school,
well, the local yob, a Teddy Boy
got her knocked up,
she was up the duff
in the pudding club.
Lost the baby at 4 months,
went on the booze,
did tricks for locals
and was generally
bad news.
At 15 they put her in ‘care'
for soliciting,
disorderly behavior
and
threw away the key.
At 21 she had syphilis,
it was the warden, they said.
Her body was all used up
her mind
a mess.
At 22 they found her,
in one of the corridors
she was lying in her own piss.
clutching a bottle,
stone dead.
Us kids used to like her,
she'd give us sweets,
piggy back rides,
and tell us __
life was but a dream.
