I Like the Odds
Hmmm...
Interesting question.
How can I assist,
In keeping 'your' way of life
From slipping through your fingers?
Good question!
Well...
You did say something,
That was key to your dilemma.
It is 'your' way of life,
Right?
If it was mine...
You would have wasted no time,
Pulling the plug!
Believing that action
Would not mire you in sludge!
I tell you what!
I will not budge.
Instead...
I'd rather observe how your way of life changes.
Maybe there will be a lesson in it for me!
I like the odds.
And it is worth the gamble...
To see you scramble without thinking,
Of me as competition!
Either way...
There is nothing for me to lose.
I am already grateful,
I am not wishing to walk in your shoes!
Does that provide you with a little hint?
Or perhaps reveal my response to you,
With a clue to use?
Your way of life...
Has never included my wellbeing too!
Now has it?
And I regard you now,
As a hazard I am not willing to risk to take.
I pride my consciousness that is at stake!

To Amuse At The Expense Of Wasted Time
Would these be betting odds,
That an asking of someone...
Who has done something in their life,
For more than 'sixty years'.
And approached to be questioned,
What they have been doing...
Since they were last seen ten years ago?
And that question has been asked,
By that same person rerpeatedly.
And the response is known.
What would be the likely odds,
That the person asked the question...
Would 'not' be doing,
What has become an obvious love...
For what that person does.
Should the one asking that same question,
Take a gamble and ask another question...
That would initiate a conversation,
Expressing a real interest?
And not just say the same thing to re-tread.
I maybe wrong about this,
But...
Leaving the person feeling a sense of being appreciated,
Would probably reveal a human being existing.
Instead of a novelty to amuse at the expense of wasted time.

What is life
Life is life; live it
Life is a question; answer it
Life is Complicated; simplify if
Life is a competition; win it
Life is a problem; solve it
Life is a situation; study it
Life is a burden; bear it
Life is an examination; pass it
Life is a treasure; cherish it

Question Meaning
The meaning of the question
Is to always question meaning,
The meaning of life,
And the life of meaning.
The life unquestioned
Means very little,
Just as a life left meaningless,
Without question, has very little life.
Therefore, we all should daily question
The meaning of life,
By doing so, life's Meaning
Will unquestionably, each day, find us.
Remember: we are free to question meaning;
May we become free enough to
Let it freely question us.

What's Next?
'Excuse me...
But,
Can you tell us...
What's next? '
Hmmm..
I really haven't figured that out yet.
You caught me off guard.
I was just thinking about that.
I know I have a consciousness,
That has me believing...
I have still time to produce my best.
And keeping this belief,
Challenges my ability to acquire proper rest.
And accepting there is a better 'me',
That needs to be pushed forward...
To be critiqued with a test,
Is...
Unsettling at times.
This does play with my mind.
I'm sorry!
What was your question?
'What's next? '
For...who?
'I have forgotten.
But I do thank you for sharing.
Some people would not have responded to me at all.
Especially in such detail.
Oh yes...
Can you tell me,
What is served next...
After the appetizers?
My friend says it's the entree.
I say it is either the soup or salad.'
I see!
Well...
I've already given you dessert.
So you don't have to worry about,
How good that is.
'Thank you.
You've got jokes!
Enjoy your meal.
We are not into desserts.
But who knows what time has instore for us.'

Thing's I'll Never Say
Im talking out my hair
Im pulling at my clothes
Im trying to keep my cool
I know it shows
Im staring at my feet
My checks are turning red
Im searching for the words inside my head
[Pre-Chorus]
(Cause) Im feeling nervous
Trying to be so perfect
Cause I know youre worth it
Youre worth it
Yeah
[Chorus]
If I could say what I want to say
Id say what about you
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Yes, Im wishing my life away
With these things Ill never say
It dont do me any good
Its just a waste of time
What use is it to you
Whats on my mind
If aint coming out
Were not going anywhere
So why cant I just tell you that I care
[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus]
Whats wrong with my tongue
These words keep slipping away
I stutter, I stumble off
Like Ive got nothing to say
[Pre-Chorus]
Yes Im wishing my life away with these things Ill never say
If I could say what I want to say
Id say what about you
Be with you every night
Am I squeezing you too tight
If I could say what I want to see
I want to see you go down
On one knee
Marry me today
Yes, Im wishing my life away
With these things Ill never say
These things Ill never say

Happiness
Take a gamble with your heart
Take a chance on happiness
Odds are on your better half
You'll be glad you placed the bet
Think it over - what's to lose?
All the odds are in your favour
Play your cards right - no excuse
You know life is what you make it
Scared to move case you get shortchanged
But nothing venture, baby - nothing gained
Take a gamble with your heart
Take a chance on happiness
Toss a coin or turn a card
Time to give those blues a rest
Play for keeps - bet your life
I see loving in your future
You'll never know if you don't try
Missionary or kama sutra?
If there's room for you to improve
There's only one thing left for you to do
Take a gamble with your heart
Take a chance on happiness
Take the plunge - leap in the dark
Put your instincts to the test
Take a gamble with your heart
Take a chance on happiness
Turn or leave me - coming start
Find out what you like the best
Take a gamble with your heart........

A new question has arisen in modern man's mind, the question, namely, whether life is worth living... No sensible answer can be given to the question... because the question does not make any sense.

Love Is The Way
Deep in the heart of the infinite darkness
A tiny blue marble is spinning through space
Born in the splendor of gods holy vision
And sliding away like a tear down his face
Closer you see the whole wide holy wonder
Of oceans and mountains and rivers and trees
And the strangest creation of many, the human
A creature of laughter and freedom and dreams
Now the warriors are waving their old rusty sabres
The preachers are preaching the gospel of hate
By their behaviour determined to teach us
A lesson were soon to be learning to late.
Look closer my brother, were killing each other
And wed better stop and get started today
Because life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.
Because life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.
Because life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.
Yes, life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.

Admit the truth
Tell me the truth once in your life.
Answer me, to my straight question.
At what time that day did you bring
Your wife from her bosses flat?
Tell me the truth once in your life.
Answer me to my straight question.
At what home did you get your maid
Aborted and at what cost to save your pride?
Tell me the truth once in your life.
Answer me to my straight question.
How many son-in-laws did you change
Before you set her in a wealthy lord?
Tell me the truth once in your life
Before you die a death of beach,
Having built your fort on illicit bricks.
Admit the truth at least only once.

Pride Robs Faith
If you are not careful, Pride may rob you of Faith-
And what was once beauteous, may become again, a wraith!
This is a lesson that God, not I, does teach-
I merely exhort you to listen, -your heart's attention I do beseech!
Do not allow that Pride may rob you of that for which you aspired-
Nor, rob you of the life and love, that you have always desired!
Pride is surely one of the Seven Deadly Sins-
Yet, the lesson is not over because this knowledge begins
To settle into the fabric of your life-
Nor, will it, by the Glorious Day, I make you my Wife-
No, no Beloved-it's a lesson Heavenly Father teaches over a lifetime;
I gift you now: both the Glory and the Rhyme
Of mine own heart, in aid to Him, in this regard;
Embrace this ardor, this love, you once threatened to discard!

(Confused Poem) Daily Deception
In To This Life And The Next.
I Must Confess
The Distance Between Now And Then Could Be Greater Then I Can Stand. Tell Me Are You A Friend.
Your Eyes Say One Thing.
You Say Another.
Whom Am I To Believe.
Daily Deception.
It's Okay Cause She Does It.
That's What I Hear Over And Over Again.
Question Their Motives,
Question Their Actions,
Question Everything In The Search For The One And Only Truth.
It Hides Right Beneath The Skin.
Hide Your Emotions And Try To Defend.
Its A The Winter That Never Ends.
How Can I Believe Anything You Say.
Its The Question On The Top Of My Mined Every Day.
Does That Make This Okay?
Never Knowing Which Way
The Winding Road Will Turn.
To The Left Then To The Right.
Look Into Their Eyes Under The Firelight.
That Will Tell You Everything You Will Need To Know.
I Must Know.
I Must Turn My Back On You.
I Trusted You,
I Let You In. And You Stole Everything I Believed In.
A Loss Of Faith.
A Loss Of The Greatest Sensation Of Touch And Taste.
How Sweet Was That Embrace.
But Now Its To This Life And The Next.
Walk Backwards For Awhile.
Trust No One Except With A Fictitious Smile.
All Because Of A Single Lie.
Hope It Made You Die A Little Inside.
For It Did Me.
My Life Will Be Complete
And I Will Have The Time Of My Life Getting There.
But Don't Despair,
It Wont Be With You,
Oh No It Wont Be With You.
Its For Me,
Its For You,
I Say Its For Me,
Oh Its For You
In To This Life And The Next.

Wasted upon the ground of life
The streets of life are real
For those of us who learn
What it's really like
To be wasted and alone
In the mire of mud
You watch as life goes by
You wonder who they are
Those that pass by
Your earthly remains
You try to gain control
Of the normality in life
Only to drown
In your burdens of old
The shadows of life
Pound upon your soul
You duck, you fight
What you think is right
Only to learn
It's just an imaginary foe
And then you start to laugh
At the audacity of life
How dare they all ignore you?
Wasted upon the ground of life

There is no such thing as an unreasonable question, or a silly question, or a frivolous question, or a waste-of-time question. It's your life, and you've got to get these answers.

Waste Not This Time
One said don't waste your cancer, but, be ready with an answer,
This, during each step and phase, all throughout uncertain days,
As some would ask with a sigh, that very simple question, why?
Why has something dark as this, befallen one who loves Jesus?
Questions shall be of all kinds, believing and unbelieving minds,
Everything from before and now, covering all the whys and how;
Some answers may be ignored, if you refer to a Sovereign Lord,
Who, in my life has complete control, over issues, big and small.
This is the point we must stress, with every question we address,
With questions regarding my life, I must point all to Jesus Christ,
The Author of my life and time, unfolding my life, per His design,
Who, works all things for my good, this in my life, is understood.
Working out in this life, all things, peace in my life, Christ brings,
His peace when times are bleak, and His strength when I'm weak,
With God's Grace sufficient for, the unknown, behind every door,
As Christ leads me, with His Grace, through every trial that I face.
This is a time to acknowledge Him, He, who saves us from all sin,
As a witness to all who may not see, that we all shall face eternity,
And that, I face this knowing Christ, the Author of my Eternal Life,
A life, all must know Christ to see, glorified life with God eternally.

Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)
Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist;
directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test
and don't ask why.
It's not a question
but a lesson learned in time.
It's something unpredicatable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs
and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf
of good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories
and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth

Sonnet: Marriage
Tho’ marriage is a gamble, we must take;
Some blissful moments it gives which look great;
Two horses pulling cart- ’tis worth the stake,
Than facing singly, life’s perilous bait.
Great care, we’ve got to exercise in choice;
The human being needs someone to talk;
And when some children come, there will be noise;
Sorrows and joys, life has; ’tis no cake-walk!
The sanctity of marriage is but true:
By which, we serve to procreate God’s way;
A ship at sea in stormy times needs crew;
And surely, we can pass His Judgment Day.
To keep our race going, we must marry;
So, God made Eve and made her to carry!

Scholars Of Knowledge
When would it be a good time,
For someone to make a decision...
That affects their life?
And every sign they had been given,
Had been ignored?
And they preferred to stay sitting,
In an approval of their ongoing ignorance?
As they have chosen?
Hmmm.
Although,
Don't get me wrong...
That's a good question.
I would say that person should wait,
To face the consequences.
'But wouldn't that be too late? '
Not really.
If one plays with bees,
Guess who gets taught...
By a stinging to them that comes?
And guess who is seen running away,
With a wish not to experience the pain.
To have on their priority list?
'I would think it would be the one pro-active.'
And that's a dilemma many of us face,
When trying to prove we have all the answers.
And yet,
Many of our most memorable experiences come...
When we have chosen to be at our dummest.
Making many appear to be scholars of knowledge.

What İs Life?
life is a blank, fill it.
life is a problem, face it.
life is an equation, balance it.
life is a sum, solve it.
life is an experience, go through it.
life is a challenge, accept it.
life is a load, carry it.
life is a ship, sail on it.
life is a question, answer it.
life is success, enjoy it.
life is a book, read it.
life is a game, win it.
life is a gift, receive it.
life is a prayer, chant it.
life is a pain, bear it.
life is a camera, so better face it with a smile.

The Reality Of Life
The preacher, during this senseless life, have seen everything
Everything including a nation dies for being right
Everything including immoral lives to his prime
Destroy yourself not for being too good or acting you know it all
Destroy yourself not for being too evil or acting as a major deceiver
Stay on the right track
Stay on the midpoint of life
Trust God and there’s nothing impossible
Be sensitive
Be wise
Then you’ll be tougher than those powerful leaders
You are not alone
I am not alone
Not a single person in this world always does right
Heard not those things every person says,
Everyone cursed everybody
Haven’t you cursed your neighbor as well?
Be smart
Try to understand life’s entire question
Life is the hardest lesson
In every question, an answer is too much
Too much to understand
Therefore, study everything you can understand
Learn from every lesson
Be wise enough to discover what life is all about.
Ask yourself why it is stupid and senseless to be an evil fool
Understand the answers
God created us with honesty
But we end up with twisted minds
No one is smart enough to explain all life’s questions
Just be wise
It makes you cheerful and gives you a smile
