How Is That Connected to The Topic?

When public options are questioned,
In a society when one is said to have the right to vote.
And restricting limitations are accepted without hesitation.
The choices of heard voices are as effective as empty promises.

'I don't have to define what's on my mind,
If I know what I'm doing from time to time.
And explanations I need not to find! '

How is that connected to the topic?

'I am not the one in this conversation,
'Promising' to be understood.
I am not seeking others to provide my level of comfort.
I've already made my choice...
Regardless of who decides I should choose from options.

I've disconnected myself from that confusion.
Basic, simple and direct!
That's how I like it.'

Options

Options, options, options,
ever too many choices.
Purple, Black, Blue or Green,
so many whispering voices;
Clint Eastwood, Kirk Douglas, Charly Sheen.

Options, options, options,
your thoughts bubbling away.
No time to choose but Delay:
'Sticks and stones can't break my bones,
but Options they can kill you still!

Choices

I was walking all alone
Through a sideshow
With passion and pain
On each side
Something inside me was calling
For a chance to stay alive
At the time I dint know
What was calling
As my head was buried in grief
Today I heard what was crying
My freedom calling me
And we all make our choices
Like a blind man feels his way
And the choice
Ive made is simple
Passion over pain
When I got to
The end of the sideshow
And looked back
To where I had been
My eyes filled with
Teardrops of loneliness
For the ones
Who will never be fee
I thought of
The children in the sideshow
As they wandered
Around so confused
Some day
Theyll make their decision
But which one will they choose
And well all make our choices
Like a blind man feels his way
And the choice
Ive made is simple
Passion over pain
And well all make our choices
Like a blind man feels his way
And the choice
Ive made is simple
Passion, passion over pain
And well all make our choices
Like a blind man feels his way
And the choice
Ive made is a simple one
Passion over pain

Exceptions Made To Created Rules

Exceptions made to created rules,
Has established the need.
For a Department of Addendums.
Making the following of rules,
Foolish.
For anyone attempting to understand,
The purpose of their origin.

Since the following of rules legitimately,
Hasn't made those values and standards...
Many proclaim as adding a quality to their lives,
A cost effective proposition.

In fact,
Prior to those exceptions made,
One's life lived had been with less complications.
Today,
Those complications are needing interpretations...
For those seeking explanations,
Whether to live basically with no rules to follow.
Or demand more addendums,
To define what basic means.

And which lawful rule is broken,
If one decides living a life that 'is' basic
Will not have them arrested for indecent exposure.
Since many will protest they have become offended.
By someone daring to live,
Without attempting to make impressions.

The Mind Will Find Whatever It Wants

The mind will find whatever it wants,
To belabor.
The mind will choose to define,
Itself and what it defends.
That may or not be offense.

A mind confined,
Spends a lot of time.
In search to uncover its own comfort.
And even when that comfort comes to show,
A stubborn mind that it needs to grow.
That mind will always find,
A way that is done not to do it.

The mind will find whatever it wants,
To belabor.
The mind will choose to define,
Itself and what it defends.
That may or not be offense.

The mind will find whatever it wants.
Even if that is a haunting of itself,
To keep life a threatening existence.

A Freedom Of Choice

There are many who are forced,
To do those things they dislike.
And many who experience...
The act of sacrifice.

There are many amongst the few,
Who do not have options...
To choose like others do.
With a refusing that which is not wished.

And it seems those without choices,
To experience what they 'must' go through...
Are those who become challenged,
By the ones who live lives limited and confused.

And...
Those who belabor in their sacrifices done.
Often are the ones spending very little time,
Wondering what it is that is liked or disliked.
Or those reasons why.
Since a freedom of choice to them eventually comes,
With a presentation acknowledging their efforts made.
For a job that has been chosen,
As the one well done deserving.

An Argument

IT is like our guns.
We do not need it
to kill,
killing is not at all times
illegal,
self-defense for instance
our way of defending ourselves
from the assassins
the hired killers and the
mercenaries of
modern times,

the law on divorce for
instance
who likes a divorce?
you do not marry only
to think that
you have to be separated
from the one you love
someday

but there comes a time
when you need it
and you cannot use it
because it
is not there

and you will regret
not allowing it in the system

just like a condom
who likes a condom?
it is a wall between us
our flesh not touching
each other

but there are times
when you need it
because there is that need
and you have to be safe

who needs guns, condoms,
divorce?
it a matter of choice
so bring them in,
let the man in his wisdom
choose
let him be responsible

there is nothing human more
than us
who can deny
the options available in this world
it is fair
make all these available
so when you need them
you can avail of
them

let the options be myriad
for in all these activities of choices
or choosing
we become more
human
and even more divine
in what we really want to become....

Our Final Option

we're on the same trips
mostly leisure

we keep on saying
what options do we still have?

we hop from one island to another
we have become missing most of the times

we opt for our privacy
and friends are asking what is happening

one day we walk hand on hand on the park
and it is raining so hard

we keep on asking, what options do we still have?
to run? we have been running away

we do not know what to find really
and we do not ask anymore

the options are all here
inside the house and well fenced.

What To Do When You're Confused

What to do, what to do, what to do
When you're confused
You could
Choose to stay
In this new found state
Of confusion
Marinate in it..so to speak
But
That may leave you
With unanswered questions
You could write in your journal
Pour over all the possibilities
The various solutions to your confusion
You could talk to someone who doesn't know you well
Because you'd want some impartial input
Which could leave you even more confused
Because they can only help you according to
Their understanding
Of your situation
You could google some answers
Turns out..
You can't find the answers to
EVERYTHING
On google
Some situations
Still require old methods for resolution
You could talk to a good friend
They may not have all the answers
But
They'd probably be willing to listen
Provide you with some feedback
That's what friends are for...
You could speak with the person
If it is a person indeed
Who has left you
In this state of confusion
I mean
At some point
Isn't the direct approach
Really
The Only approach
So,
You take a deep breath
You tell yourself 'here I go'
I'm going to get my answers
And, then
I'll know
I won't be confused
At least not by this confusion
What to do, what to do, what to do
I've given you some options
But, I can't tell you
What, for sure, you should definitely do
I can make a suggestion..
But, again it's up to you
You should listen to your inner voice,
Do what THAT tells you
I can say this
It's probably not as bad as you imagine
And, who knows,
It's a possibility
That
After all this stressing
You end up pleasantly surprised.
But we know for sure
You'll have all your answers
And, you, my friend
Will no longer be confused.

I'm Calling Bullshit!

With my life,
hard blows....

time to go home?
no one really knows...

Back in my youth,
where I thought I've grown.

Same place,
my childhood home.

After two years of figuring it out,
this town is not what i'm all about.

A picture perfect vacation it may seem,
nothing of what I dream.

I want more than how I look naked,
I want more than...
how I can fake it.

To me life is beyond the flesh,
there is no way
these minds will mesh.....

Too may options,
toooo many choices,

no one can hear the voices...

at the bottom of the hill,
waiting for Moses...

I've made up my mind,
these are not my choices....

I call bullshit,
and I want to leave...
no longer overcome to this devises

so do as you please...

for me I call bullshit! ! ! ! !

Again...this life I have to quit! !

Message

“Why I have been sent to earth” no one questioned
“What should I do to improve upon” thousands answered
“Have I not been gifted with single piece of mind? ”
: Is it necessary to be wild animal and not kind?

Lot many questioned crossed the peaceful arena
Did not pick good signal without powerful antenna
I was the only creature on the earth so much worried
Ceaseless queries and confusions from all over carried

Is human brain gifted with powerful sensor to feel?
Immediate action with strong resolve and will
No hesitation for moment to ward off danger and kill
Great voice to be heard by reaching of top of hill

Why we are only burdened with superficial thinking?
Only degrading self with morale so much sinking
Think of the consequences which are yet to take off
Shirking of responsibities after disguising in wolf

Nothing is to be taught to us for simple reason
Every one knows what is trait and treason
Still there is confusion what is called deception
Idea still remains mooted from the time of inception

Why to worry about another world which is unreality?
Who can tell us that it will better with super quality?
No one has come back from that end with any message
Why to think of an eventuality which has no usage?

Are priests, preachers, philosophers not scoundrels?
Have they formed secret understanding and cartels?
Are they direct descendents form heaven to earth?
Is there any weakening of talent, shortage or dearth?

I may go for easy living with simple solution
Living ideal life with firm and simple resolution
Praying for His blessings in days to come
Any holy guidance or message simply welcomes

Why do we seek refuge when there exists nothing as such?
We have had enough and heard very much
Let Him guide us to the simple way and lead
Message of love should be understood and read

Not Addressed

If something is not wanted,
In one's life or environment...
Does it have to be accepted?
Especially when options,
Are given to be selected.

Is it ridiculous to listen,
To those with sustained complaints?
Or support those who embellish their circumstances,
Without restraint.

We live in those times when a focused mind is hard to find.
And when one is discovered,
It seems others do their best...
To dismiss the direct honestness of it.
Since this is not addressed on anyone's priority list.

Your Reaction To Me Is Not Christian

Determine whatever it is you wish,
Between the available options left...
Provided to you to negotiate.

You can either leave through the exit.
Unaided.
Or...
You can choose to be ushered through it.

'But...
From my point of view,
I see those options...
As having really none from which to choose.'

Again you offer nothing but excuses.
Patience once given to you is no longer there.
And a tolerance for your presence,
Has already exhausted benefits of doubt.
No more are there to spare.

'But...
Your reaction to me is not Christian.'

I know.
However...
You should not let that interfere,
With the making of your decision.

There Is More To Unhappiness....

because there are too many options
you become speechless

you fret, you fingers are restless

what now? you are undecided
what to choose,

the thought of
consequences come like rain

you are drenched all over
feeling cold
and so
alone,

you try to figure out
that from among these million choices
you have to take only one
and be happy,

and if you are wrong
and become unhappy throughout your lifetime
you will be blaming yourself forever

and it happens to most of us here
who think that this world is unfair,
that people are insensitive
that the future is bleak
the past nothing but recklessness
and the present
a tragedy, all about regret and waste

and throughout our lifetime we choose to be
unhappy because we think we made the wrong choice

there will be a review, an evaluation,
there is more to unhappiness, it is not just that.

Of Non-ness

But at this time...
On these non-days,
When a sense of non-ness is existing.
I try to find in my mind,
A reason and a rhyme...
To define what it is I choose to decline.

And it is at this time,
I'm feeling quite fine.
And those non-days existing,
With a non-ness to grind...
To upset my mind,
I can't allow...
Myself to be twisted in the mix of it!

I once participated in heated debates.
About the absence of the right,
To enjoy the life I've made.
Without feeling I should trade away...
This happiness I feel and have,
I just can't walk away from to see betrayed.

And it is because at this time,
On these non-days...
Whether they come to others to keep and stay,
I wish agitation begin from me to fade.

Because at this time I made up my mind,
On those non-days bringing all that non-ness to find...
I,
Choose peace...
Over being demeaned.

Because at this time I made up my mind,
On those non-days bringing all that non-ness to find...
I,
Choose peace...
Over being demeaned.

And when that non-ness is there to share,
Because at this time I made up my mind to care...
I,
Have chosen peace...
And I've left the scene.

Strong On Hype

Having a conversation,
With someone not listening.
Isn't a conversation.
It is work.
And not 'of' art!

Tedious it is to keep repeating,
Something said to someone...
With a selective process going on,
In their head.
And quick to change direction of conversation.

And...
Don't say 'anything',
That can be interpreted as intelligent.
Someone will perceive...
The simpliest of word usage for them,
Is other than what anyone perceives to be basic.

Keep it simple,
Stupid!
Keep it simple,
Stupid.

To dumbdown these days,
In the getting of anything across...
AND comprehended,
Is no longer a matter of choice.
To get others to effectively listen,
One is practically enforced...
To use techniques at a preschool level.

Think this to be a joke?
An assumption done by one sarcastic?
Or a cynic being overly dramatic?
Well...
Unfortunately,
It isn't.

Many college professors,
Are 'literally' face to teach those...
Who can neither read at levels of high school.
Nor can write sentences without words spelled,
Incorrectly.

And yet,
There are those defending the right to fight in conflicts...
To protect an 'interest'.
And that interest is not invested in the minds of the young.

'Keep it simple,
Stupid!
Keep it simple,
Stupid.'

And those comments made today,
Are not by the intructors heard...
Conducting their lessons.
Those comments are made by the students,
To those who intruct in classrooms...
By those who can not follow direction.
Nor can they keep,
On any grade level with others waiting impatiently...
Watching other stundents,
Making 'some' attempt with a trying to keep up!

To say an entire system is in dire need,
Of an innovative revamping...
Is an understatement that has offended,
Much too long in the protecting of a pretentiousness...
Stong on hype.
But not in an insight invited,
That has been in need of thorough self examination.

Our Blueprint

Compulsory voting or fifty-dollar fine at tax time,
Shows that this important national issue is not five-and-dime,
And those who refuse to vote or pay, get ten days in jail,
No house arrest allowed, no legal aid, no caution and no bail.

Binding referendums for all Canadians on national options,
Before these options turn into major national problems,
How each politician votes on any issue should be published,
And not carefully moved around and hidden from the public.

Set-date elections every three years and constituents allowed recall,
Death with dignity allowed and no one or group, can forestall,
The Supreme Court, Governor Generals and parole boards elected,
So that defects in our systems can be finally corrected.

What Democracy?

Is democracy a dream?
The human race aspires to
such things are seldom as they seem.

Although the people have a choice.
They seldom think their choices through
and so the wishes which they voice.

Can be ignored and flagrantly
by those who hold the power reins
which they acquired dishonestly.

The voting system is unfair.
Votes do not carry equal weight.
The major parties do not care.

They are content to wait their turn
To ride upon the gravy train
enjoying perks they do not earn.

If every vote was made to count
Then that would be democracy
Hold politicians to account

for promises they make then break.
Perhaps it’s time to rectify
the present system: Which would take.

a social revolution
to institute democracy.
Instead of the confusion.

The rule of many by the few
who claim they have the peoples vote
A statement patently untrue.

The vote I cast has no value
in this so called democracy
Its very sad but very true.

The lesser of two evils.

Do gooders have done their best.
To end effective punishment.
Although their ideas fail the test.
Let criminals do as they please.

They’re well aware they’ll get away
with almost any kind of crime.
In the lawless world of today.
In my opinion it’s past time.

To reintroduce discipline.
The birch, the cat and yes the rope.
Society must redefine
soft options which cannot cope.

With those that choose to break the law
To other peoples detriment.
The only way is to restore
a healthy fear of punishment.

The general public would agree
to bring back corporal punishment.
Including the Death Penalty.
But can’t convince the government.

Who fear adverse publicity
and lack the moral fibre to
protect all of society.
Instead of favouring the few.

Who batten on the rest of us
Because the Government daren’t act.
Their arguments are spurious.
I see this as established fact.

Perhaps mine is a biased view.
I could be wrong I must confess.
The question which I put to you.
Do you agree: Say no or yes.

That Is Not An Offer

How can you say,
With 'me' you have been direct?
I find you too convoluted.
Too introspective.
Too self involved with issues,
You have protected.

And you wish me to be the one you select...
To find you irresistible?
As if I'm seeking someone...
With looks and no depth?
Those days for me have long 'petered out'.

I use to have a pet!
But today I'll settle for all the peace of mind I can get.
And chasing behind mysteries...
I'd rather leave alone to be drama free.

Do you see how clear my eyes are?
You will not find them clouded with doubt!
Or vacantly awaiting for an occupation,
Of your BS planted to upset.
That will be a bet made you lose.

You will not find strategic steps of your 'mess'
Accepted here to endear to leave confusion.
And that is not an offer.
That is a conclusion.
