As you try to figure out,
Why you are feeling restricted.
Without acknowledging,
You did this to yourself.

To go where and why?
Will a meeting with more comfort,
Satisfy the removal of unneeded despair?
And to who's benefit,
Will the discovery of going nowhere provide?
When a getting out has been accomplished,
How good will be the move?
And to who is this going to be proven?

Like an Unused Expletive
When folks stop showing they care,
With expected responses
Others had grown accustomed,
To be shown reliably there.
And it has gone?
Something has turned around,
Something has gone wrong!
To expose a cold shoulder...
Never before thought could be found!
Like a familiar ride on a merry-go-round.
It may be there to provide a service.
Like an unused expletive!
Someone has chosen not to dignify,
To sting the atmosphere.
Or believe would satisfy a benefit,
To anyone overhearing it!
And with those warnings tossed aside,
An explanation tried in the past...
Dies.
A purpose seems to have come to a close.
With an attempt to save a repeated waste of time.
To halt before the repetition begins.
'What is being accomplished?
And for whose understanding...
Should I appear to be the idiot? '
Someone involved has taken another for granted.
And like an 'ex' of anything experienced...
An ax has been used to sever a close tie abused!
A determination has been made,
To move on!
Demonstrating...
A decay that has become addicting to some,
For one...
Who has had enough of that 'funky' stuff...
That is the one,
Who no longer has to tolerate a self infliction of BS.
It stinks and reeks.
And it can be removed.

Despair in Love, Love in Despair
Why do i find solace in my loneliness
But find sorrow with those wit whom i share the same blood
Why do i hide behind these fake smiles of happiness
When this sorrow and unrest washes over my soul like a flood
Its pathetic how i'm laughing on the outside
Laughing at how everyting is all right
While i'm crying and dying on the inside
Not wanting anyone to see my sad sad plight
Why is it that i continuosly distance myself
from those who are or try to get close
I see love as nothing more than a drug
that people are addicted to the point of overdose
I am one who finds solace in despair
in sorrow, in sadness, in darkness
I am one who feels pain in love
I see it as evil like a vulture, instead of pure like a dove
Love can build, but it can also destroy
It takes away everything, all of the joy
Despair may seem like incarnated bitterness
But its there to comfort in the face of loneliness
I find myself wishing for the company of the feeling of melancoly
Its as if i can't function without it
Like a flower without an ounce of water

One of those days
Although I try I cannot hide,
the fact that I’m dissatisfied
with everyone and everything
Despite the fact that I have tried.
Why it is that life is so unfair.
It sometimes drives me to despair
of everyone and everything
I could give up but I don’t dare.
For everyone depends on me
to provide their security
Yes everyone and everything.
Is this the way that things should be
I suppose I’m entitled to
take a very jaundiced view
of everyone and everything.
When I am feeling sad and blue.
Quite suddenly my blues are gone.
I know I can depend upon
every one and everything.
No longer feeling woebegone..
I know without a shred of doubt
I’ve little to complain about

are all prepared to help me out.

But Don't Despair
Despair, if you must –
But how's it going to pull you through?
Despair, when you trust
Naught since then there's naught to do.
Despair, should you thrust
Aside your pride, your self-esteem.
And so despair, if it's dust,
The only substance that you deem.
Despair, when a gust
Of slightly breeze can break your stance.
And do despair, when lust
Is your interpretation of romance.
But don't despair, if you can care
About the plight of any other being.
And you can focus on the help,
Support, and altruistic further actions
For the seeing. Be believing,
As despair will start receding
All around – simply since you found
A way to steer you clear
From this: the very cause of your despair!
So give to others; give them all a helping lift:

What I Must Insist I Keep
Futile is the attempt to create my reality,
For me.
Or what takes place in it,
To benefit another's version of life.
I will never accept,
Since for me the feeling is not right.
And I don't go out of my way to disrespect anyone,
By rejecting a point of view that doesn't to me come.
It is not my way to have my comfort redefined.

Its nothing, its so normal you
Just stand there I could say so much
But I dont go there cuz I dont want to
I was thinking if you were lonely
Maybe we could leave here and no one would know
At least not to the point that we would think so
Everyone here, knows everyone here is thinking about somebody else
Its best if we all keep it under our hats
I couldnt tell, if anyone here was feeling the way I do
But Im lonely now, and I dont know how to get it back to good
This dont mean that, you own me
This aint no good, in fact its phony as hell
But things worked out just like you wanted too
If you see me out you dont know me
Try to turn your head, try to give me some room
To figure out just what Im going to do
And everyone here hates everyone here for doing just like they do
Its best if we all keep this quiet instead
