The golden rule?
Those who hold and control the gold...
Will rule.
Those who disbelieve,
And are knee deep in fantasy?
May not wish to think of themselves as fools.
But...
Show me the beef!
No!
Nevermind...
That's tainted.
Show me the way to relief!
And in doing so you will bring me peace.
At least that will not be leased.
Yet!
But those who have found happiness with less...
Will also find themselves free of regret!

Still the rule
We wanted and asked for
The democracy was unsuitable and called for
The slavery and bondage made permanent home
Free air and liberty was never welcome
Stick is still the rule
Corruption is taught from school
Parents line up to throw the chits
You find new product of cheats
No field is left out to maneuver
There is now difficulty for beginner
He inhales the corrupt air and learns
Public is not her worry or concern
We have more breeding grounds
Corrupt and harmful mosquitoes are always found
They bite and spread the quality when go round
The whole system is spoiled and not remained sound
No one can free the system
The evil has grown from stem
The roots are so deep and within
They will always triumph and win
We want no such rule for the day
It has taken everything away
They rule the scene and hold the sway
We find no such hope and ray
One in a million chances there will emerge some possibility
Country may face disintegration and loose the stability
It will be broken into pieces under heavy odds
The poor and downtrodden may suffer heavily under load
We wanted peaceful life but not at such personal cost
It was never realized or thought over by most
The democracy has some advantage but values are lost
The apprehensions are more and much loss of trust
Not a single field is free from blame
We have no regret and feel for shame
We take it as routine and nonsense act

Fantasy World
living in this fantasy world
where whatever you thought of
'you could do.'
and all your dreams would follow you.'
if you dreamt of all the riches in the world
you would start off with a pearl.
then the beauties of the diamonds
rubies, sapphires and emeralds
would all follow suit.
silver and gold to boot.
you could go into any career that you want
whether it was a doctor, lawyer, scientist
or even a gymnast you could do.
it all depended upon you.
there are so many options in this fantasy world
to do, or become whatever your heart would desire.
but! it still would not put out the fire.
most all of these are material things
but love 'it could not bring'.
it could not give you what was
truely in your heart and soul.
and that was 'someone for you to hold.'
the heart and soul is together like a mother
and a child
and they'll be together for a very long while.
treat them gently, treat them with care
then all your wonders, they will share.
they'll show you all the emotions
that come in this life
from heartaches to struggles and strife.
the most important feelings that
the heart and soul will show
is the love that will flourish and grow.
this you will not find in your fantasy world
for love is much richer
than your diamonds and pearls.
love grows from deep within your heart and soul
the most glorious wonder to behold.
so step out of that fantasy world and
come into the light
that will take you on the most fantastic flight.

There 'Is' a Tremendous Difference
Somebody's always finding,
Something to open minds.
A gap, a crack or crevice,
That knits a loophole!
Found discovered and it is told.
Some regret these found connections,
Of existing loopholes known.
And many angry get more bitter,
Just because those loopholes...
Expose and show what no one knows.

Who's whistle blew to undo the knots,

Amongst themselves maintained control.
Somebody's always finding,

I sit upon a pedestal
Of the once so proud and haughty fool
And watch the day die to night
In a painful blood red light
I ask the fools who place me here
Do you truly not yet fear?
That a fall from heights such as these
Will bring a nation to its knees

You can not have it both ways.
You can not market decadence.
And then preach about its ill affects.
Especially when you have enjoyed it the best!
You can not sit in judgement to condemn.
When every rule and law that is made...
You are the first to be found breaking them!
You can not profess what should be right for others...
When you do what you please,
Wherever you wish to express your druthers.
And you are certainly no example,
To a way of life you defend.
When standards you believe should be followed...
You can not uphold yourself.
If you begged, steal or borrowed.
Without becoming offensive about your whims.
And deceit and stealing...
Are not unfamiliar to you!
In fact...
Did you not teach how,
To succeed using that?

Let there be Peace
Let there be Peace
Let there be peace but not at any price
So games of chance, rolls of the dice
Do not disdainfully dictate like all the rest
That some should rule, some be repressed.
Let lives be counted for their proper worth;
Let no human being brought to birth
Be sacrificed in vain for wounded pride.
Let not a single man, who died
In conflict, be dismissed as second-rate.
Even the enemy deserves a better fate
Than mere obliteration; it's a fact.
Let politicians show a bit of tact
When they, too quick to blame the other
For the mess, forget their brother
Man; for they should have the grace
To recognise each member of the human race
Is just like them, so fallible and weak.
Instead of being rash, they should be meek,
Try to say sorry and apologise
When they make a mistake and not tell lies,
For they are not such fools who seek for us to show
Some understanding for their faults. They know
Within their beings that it is the wise
Who know their limits, recognise
The times when they must take the blame.
They must know they're not in it for the fame
But that they're there to serve, part of the plan
That asks the powerful to do what they can
To help the poor, the victim and the underclass.
They must not let the sacred moment pass
When they can stand for good and not for bad;
Then peace may come, peace may be had
By all, regardless of their various views.
Yet peace does not make headlines and the news
Of evil that men do just seems to dominate.
Why can't they realise it's not too late
To change their minds and act for peace
So all may live together, wars may cease
If tolerance could rule, instead of fear
And though this time of peace seems not too near
Let all of us determine that one day
Peace will conquer war and peace will stay.
