pleasure is melting like chocolate
my blue ribbon gumption is gone
all my gravy must have soaked into something
and the world...
the filthy steps, the cold concrete
the phony earth below my feet
the ancient odor of the streets
yes the world it is a sponge
and when the crisis passes
when the coast is clear
I'll be buffed down to a liquid
and the world it is a sponge
throughout this entire ugly outing
I've been mumbling the convex of what I should be shouting
but I'll soon be silent you'll soon hear nothing

You Put the Squeeze on 'Me

'Pucker up buttercup and suck me.'
Said the water to the never used,
Fresh stiff sponge.

'Dip it in me quickly...
And feel my wetness come.
Soaking up that big thick sponge...
Until you wiped me dry.
To keep me from a run!
Licking every bit of drip.
Catching me until you were full,
Of me and what I was.
And when it was done...
It was over! ...and you became dry.

The Attraction Of Drink

It calls to me every night,
Come, drink, let the liquid flow
Like magic down your throat
And it will take you to places
That only it can know.
So once again I lift
That glass to my lips,
And hear again that seductive voice
And the promises it makes,
And feel again that gentle glow
As it courses through my veins
'Til once again it shows me
The contents of my soul.

Unmistakably Awake

That which is done to another,
With an intention to induce a harm.
That leaves a stinging one intends to bring,
With an intention meant.
A forgiveness may take place,
But the fact of the act can not be erased.
No matter if what one has done has been mentioned,
As a mistake!
What had been done and was not faked.
Came from a consciousness unmistakably awake.

And if one decides not to forgive,
With a memory not to forget.
The misdeed received was not thought of as a gift.
And forgiving actions to forget like this,
Invites a re-occurrence.

Why I had to put up such a lousy rotten show

Perceived To Accept A Fall

No one is resistent,
To a barrage of criticisms.
I don't know anyone who is.
But I do know of one who isn't.

A sponge to soak up jokes told to provoke...
By those folks stroking egos,
With a mocking done constantly...
To annoy as others do a snooping,
Close to scope...
Initiates within me a resentment.
And even though I can not prevent what others do...
I can choose to refuse,
An amusement done at my expense.

And I am convinced...
It is not how someone is perceived to accept a fall,
By a misdeed thrown.
It is how someone takes a hit,
And gets over it quickly!
With an advantage taken that clearly benefits.

Intentional

No matter what may be done or said,
When that action in time takes place...
Someone will feel left out instead.
Not because of the action,
Done or said.
But how it was related when instigated.

Whoever made it fun for one,
To berate another with a blurting tongue...
The day will come,
When a similar deed is repeated.
With a singing of a song sung,
Or a tune heard hummed.

With no exit to ignore it to escape or leave,
The perpetrator remembered...
Will then be seeking empathy.
That no one with heart and soul intact,
Will care to release to relieve.
To set one free from memories.

This Earth is not flat,
It looks as if round.
And rotates on an axis,
To return to a place of origin always found.
And that is a fact when one sits to think,

Pulls the fascination in my sleeve
Cooling off the fire of my longing
Boiling off my cold within his heat
Melting down the walls of inhibition
Evaporating all of my fears
Baptizing me into complete submission

A state of agitated depression
Now facing the liquid depression

Needing medical attention
Making my agitated confession

Killer

Describe the defender who rids us of our soul;
We fight for survival, and he is innocent. I am what?
Display the proof of your strength, of your blade
That pierces and slashes a man in many pieces.

You have rights over the killer of real sorts,
The exact replica of a fatal storm; he is madder than most enemies.
Your life is in the liquid stage. It is soon evaporating
From what it solidly was. It was present and in action, but now gas.

He has smelt you anyway, just take care of your limbs

Open Up!

Are you too scared to open up?
Are you too timid to keep the face up?
Are you afraid of the content in the envelope?
Are you thinking of insulting the sender?
When the sun shines scotching, go out to enjoy,
When it rains cats and dogs, soak into it not to be coy,
When the wind blows your shirts and blouses up,
Hold them tightly to feel the force of the giant.

fire shines through my liquid sunlight
thoughts of those I love hurt my head
and with another gulp I'll wash them
down to stop them spinning me around
I smell the scent of your bitterness so sweet

the colours of gold that you show me
