From Burrowed Troughs

They came to share...
Not invade another's space.
With a nothingness but faith,
They brought.

They were laughed at and disgraced.
Opportunity was all they sought.
Not to thumb their noses.
Or expose smirks set upon their faces.

Speaking in languages mocked and degraded.
In time they created their own separate rules.
Leaving behind those who treated them rude and cruel.

Now they are the ones with shoulders of frost.
Passing those who still laugh in sadness.
As they watch them line up in masses...
To eat slop they feed from burrowed troughs!

Even In The Midst Of It

What now can be said to those led to believe...
To have and to flaunt,
Would bring them a life other's wished.
And this would be envied with jealousy!
The kind of jealousy that brought to them,
An ego lift!

But then a foundation,
Crumbles from under their feet.
Not only do they realize they've been lied to...
But they've been used as part of the deceit.
This was not the plan!
Or was it?
To become degraded like this?
Upon these stolen lands?

And these same folks for most of their lives,
Have been taught to look down from upturned noses...
While they welcomed crooks into their homes,
To hoodwink them.

And as these decayed façades,
Display a hollowed shallowness...
They still remain self righteous.
Even in the midst of it!
Their own created crisis.

But...
This was not the plan!
Or was it?
To become degraded like this?
Upon these stolen lands?
And forced to foreclose...
Property,
To be sold...
To foreign hands?

Equally As Sad

Doesn't it strike you as 'funny'?
I do.
That the 'nothingness' I once had,
And meant to you 'then'...
Has now risen in value.

And all those 'things' you wished,
That brought you a 'status'...
And a happiness,
Has diminished in worth.
Don't you feel you've been cursed?

And that 'nothingness' I still have...
Is priceless.
That same nothingness,
You wish you could now afford.
Since your 'circumstances',
Has brought you down to Earth.

Doesn't it strike you as 'funny'...
That your taste for things and money,
Has changed in its importance?
I do.
In fact...
You should be laughing hysterically,
By now!

And...
Somehow.
As much as I want to laugh at you...
I can't do it.
There are too many fools trying to prove...
Like you,
That the look on their faces...
Expressing heartache,
Is faked.

And I don't find that funny at all.
I thought I would.
But I don't.

Even he who laughs last...
I have discovered,
Doing it alone...
Is equally as sad.

With an Aged, Wise Mind

I too had been confined...
In a youthful body,
With an aged, wise mind.

It seemed as if I was older than most.
Sure,
I played games with my peers then.
Though bored to tears...
Doing things kids did.

I grew to feel unusual.
Like an 'ET' from out of space.
Whenever the opportunity came to play hide and seek...
I went to a neighborhood variety store,
To speak to the owner...
About 'stuff' that was out of other children's reach.
And when I was done,
The 'kids' would ask me where I hid!
I laughed and told them anything.
Just to watch their faces...
That were so inquisitive.

I understand that mind one has...
Growing and trapped behind eyes so young.
And I have no advice to share for someone like that.
Since I'm sure they will not be ignored.

Dedicated to:
Risha Ahmed

'Risha...
Keep your patience.
You are blessed with a gift of expression.
AND, at age 'eleven'? ...you have nothing but more
of your 'brilliance' to share.'

Sometimes a Faith is similar to stones

Sometimes a Faith is similar to stones,
To rocks, so hard and heavy, in their masses...
As well as the variety of talks,
Of languages, which are the only world reflection.

A child, picking up the words as stones,
Get aquainted gradually through life
With their meaning with his heart...
When being old - he is looking at the rock-words,
Amazed greatly in his mind
With their deepness
In the view of his experience...
And he learns at once, that Faith, Belief - is alive!

It shines brightly and luminous
In the moist air of grumbles of
Blizzards and thunderstorms...
Sufferings, that had come above the heads...

The Faith of words, the whisper of the bases
Of the worlds, which were left behind the stern
Of the ship, floating in the Time ocean...
Faith... With a Faith of words... the World is created...

The New Religion Of 'Nothingness

THE NEW RELIGION OF ‘NOTHINGNESS'

The new Religion of Nothingness
Hates God
And aims at Faith's Destruction-

The new Religion of Nothingness
Celebrates accident and incident
Idolizes the Purposelessness and Meaninglessness
Of it all-
And consoles us with speculations
That our universe may be a multiverse
Which too did not have to be created to exist.

The new Religion of Nothingness
Feigns Proof for its main contention
And gives Humanity no Hope
But only Nothing and more Nothing
As Beginning and End of all.

The Promotion Of A Nothingness

The promotion of a nothingness,
To coverup insecurities...
Is as pronounced as those with them,
Who continue to make attempts to smother...
The uselessness of their incompetence,
That has expose them and their failures...
In everything touched that has been done they do!
And this has always been vocalized,
By those who have stood on the shoulders...
Of ohers who have made true accomplishments.
And all they have done...
Those shouting their indignities,
Is to feed a deceiving of greed inherited...
By a hand-me-down of slick tricks and theft!

Loves On The Line

Tell me baby
Have we lost everything that we had before
What do you do in the day
When I walk out the door
I can see you made up your mind
And I know our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
With each passing day
I gotta watch more and more what I say to you
I can feel your eyes looking through me
As I sit at the table at dinnertime
I can feel our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
I watch our kids
Growin up, going to school
Is there anything else for us now
Are we both just fools
Wasting our precious time
At night we lay in bed
But its like youre not even there
Theres something real bad
Going wrong somewhere
Last night I heard you cry
And I know our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line

Separate Lives

Eric woolfson - lead vocal
Its been a long road
Weve walked the last mile
We reach the same conclusion
And we stop for a while
Together we know
The way we must go
Were leaving an illusion
Thats for us to share
Only for us to share
We live our separate lives
And go our different ways
Cause we dont see eye to eye
And we cant stand face to face
We live our separate lives
While counting all the days
Till the two of us arrive
In another time and place
We share the same thoughts
We read the same lines
We meet on sad occasions
And in happier times
A spoken goodbye
And both of us try
To walk away in silence
Thats for us to share,
Only for us to share
We live our separate lives
And go our different ways
Cause we dont see eye to eye
And we cant stand face to face
We live our separate lives
While counting all the days
Till the two of us arrive
In another time and place
And always goodbye
But heaven knows why
I cant erase the memory
Thats for us to share
Only for us to share
Only for us to share
We live our separate lives
And go our different ways
Cause we dont see eye to eye
And we cant stand face to face
We live our separate lives
While counting all the days
Till the two of us arrive
In another time and place

Senselessly Cruel

When I was a poor young boy at school
Girls like you always played me for a fool
But now, a time has come to lay to waste
The theory people have of getting an acquired taste
You treated me -
Oh, so, so senselessly cruel
Oh baby, you were so senselessly cruel
From the beginnings I suspected the worst
And you didnt disappoint me
It was just that you were the first
But now, I wouldnt let you touch me
If you were within a foot
And girl, Im never ever gonna get hurt
cause you treated me -
Oh, so senselessly cruel
Oh now, so senselessly cruel
(oh, so senselessly cruel)
(oh, so senselessly cruel)

Manipulating Disaster

With assisted lies and a following,
They have declined all lifestyles...
And increased foreclosures.
No one who has spoken the truth has done this!
In fact,
Those who attempted to expose the treason...
Were denounced as 'liberals'
And other disgusting lesions!
Onward continues the hoodwinking of crimes.
Yet those responsible for manipulating disaster...
Are treated like rock stars,
By those completely out of their minds!
Proving themselves to be above the law and orderless...
And leaving with millions pocketed!
Socking it to the fools they made,
Degraded and left far behind!
Since 'they' were 'not' of their own kind!
Those with stolen 'power'
And a connection to lust that all managed to find!

Gestapo

You had life so easy...
You thought you were the chips and cheese.
And you mocked,
Those who were not!

You thought it a breeze,
To do just what you pleased.
And you shopped...
'Til you dropped.

You stole what you had,
And you thought it would never stop.
When you thought your life was threatened...
You would call the cops.
Now that things have turned around...
A mess is all you've got,
To show.
And you know...
Your back's broke.

A gestapo is on the march.
Soon to knock on your door...
With a broom and mop.
To clean up your slop!

A gestapo is on the march.
Issuing brooms and mops.
To clean up the slop!
Believe it or not!

And the ones who sit on stoops...
Will be grouped,
And pooped from pushing.

'Lock step! Mops! Push! '

A gestapo is on the march.
Issuing brooms and mops.
To clean up the slop!
Believe it or not!

A gestapo is on the march.
Issuing brooms and mops.
To clean up the slop!
Believe it or not!

You had life so easy...
You thought you were the chips and cheese.
And you mocked,

But...

Issuing brooms and mops.

The Woman at the Crossroad Who Laughed

As I walked up the pavement, up the slight hill
to the traffic lights at the crossroads outside the station,
I saw her waiting to cross.
Or rather, I saw first, her laugh..

She held the hand of her son
as she exchanged words with a passing friend
and laughed..

and what I saw in her eyes, her whole face,
as she laughed, was that as she laughed -
(did she know this? How could I tell her, a stranger?
Lady, lady, at the crossroad of our lives,
I’m writing this poem for you now…)

as she laughed, while she laughed,
I saw that she was in touch, the whole of her,
with her deepest self – just that… all that…
and as I saw that self, which was
(Lady, are you reading this?)
the perfection of perfection, all that’s perfect…

it was as if – no, it was just so –
her self looked at me, and so
the perfect looked at the perfect;

herself and mine together laughed,
laughed at imperfection

and as the perfect looked, it saw perfection
spreading through my eyes from our shared self
so that her son was perfect; and her friend was perfect;
and all around us, every they and it were perfect..

(Lady, Lady, at the Cross’s foot,
was it like this for You?)

the light turned green. And we were free
to cross the road; and
free to live; and
free to laugh away illusion; and
free to be ourselves; forever,
in that time which is forever.

Lady, by my faith, this by my hand;
and with my life I do yet swear
upon my life, this to be true;

Lady, hear, in this my orison,
there are no sins
to be remembered.

One Two Five

One hundred and twenty five
Beats to, beats to the minute
One hundred and twenty five
You get the notion with the motion
Then youre out on the floor
Fahrenheit, one hundred and two
Centigrade, its getting to you
Your heart is beating, eight to the bar
You cant control it so you hold it
Then youre out on the floor
On the floor
You feel it coming to ya
On the floor
You know its getting through ya
On the floor
You cant control the feeling
Let it go
See the faces passing
Smile in time
See the faces passing
All in line
You say, hey! can I take you home tonight?
But she knows that youre throwin a line
Shes heard it before, shell hear it again
Its the same pitch every time
Change your line of patter
Make her laugh, not at her
Change your line of patter
Make her laugh, not at her
She tells you her friend wants to say hello
But say that you dont want to know
Its her that youre throwing your glances to
Her that you want to know
Dont let her stray its a saturday night
The boys are after trouble
Youre in for a fight
One hundred and twenty five
Beats to, beats to the minute
One hundred and twenty five
You get the motion with the notion
Then youre out on the floor
Fahrenheit, one hundred and two
Centigrade, its getting to you
Your heart is beating, eight to the bar
You cant control it so you hold it
Then youre out on the floor
Reggae, reggae, reggae, reggae
See the faces passing
Smile in time
She says if youre lookin to take her home
Well Id better not be in late
But the look on her face
And the smile in her eyes say
Baby Im gonna wait
See the faces swimming
Hear the music dimming
Well Im all danced out, Im all done in
And Im starting to talk out of tune
We can go on a ride, we can jump in a boat
We can dance by the light of the moon
One hundred and twenty five
Beats to, beats to the minute

Draw Me That Line

There's a fine line
between genius and
insanity.

You have erased that line

i need to draw that line again
between
you and me

do not laugh at me
i am not a genius
as they once
laughed
at Copernicus

i like you to laugh
at me
i have this acceptance
as i laugh
at myself more often

Oh nature

Oh! Nature, oh! Nature, so degraded and polluted
More than ever,
Why can’t you be green and green forever,

Those complacency of breezes and complaisance ale,
Chirping of birds, diving of fishes sailing the soul,
Fruits they feed, those shades relieving from troubling ail,
One place witnesses scorching sun and another hail,
Either condition so dumb and so pale,

for worldly things all are yearning,
Experiencing disaster like global warming,
Will open Pandora’s box without warning,
Leaving happy, innocent faces, crying.
Being your lover reviving you is thing I desired,

Oh! Nature, oh! Nature, so degraded and polluted
More than ever,
Soon will witness an era of being green and green forever.

The Towers Of Avarice

Armed With The Promise Of Salvation
Countless Monoliths Rise
Fires That Feed Their Progress Blacken The Earth And The Sky
The Masses That Teem Below Them
Are Drawn To The Warmth Of Their Light
Come To Your Future So Bright
The Heaven You Seek Is In Sight
Just Give All And Lay At My Feet
The Heaven You Need Is Found Within Me
In Their Midnight It Is Saviour It Gives Them Faith
In Their Midnight It Is Saviour But It Steals Their Souls
They Are All Just Seconds Both In Line And In Time
Moving Forever Toward Boxes Of Pine
Oh Innocent Follower
You Of Feeble Spirit And Shallow Heart
Go As Those Before You Did
Even Though They Were Torn Apart
All Your Gods In Heaven Cannot Save You Now
It Locks The Door And Takes The Key
And Will Not Allow
Walking Out
It Will Sicken Your Will
It Will Sicken Your Self
It Will Take Without Mercy
Until There Is Nothing Else
It Will Take Your Will
It Will Take You All
It Will Take A Mystic
To Make It Fall
Shadow People
Faces Without Names
Go In Willing
Leaving In Flames
[2X]
Cast Into A Manic Mission
Lead Into A Blind Descision
Thrown Into A Dark Submission
They Will Become An Omission

Leaving Me

wake up in the middle of the night
the air is so heavy my head's screwed on too tight
and in the glow of the christmas lights i watch you sleep
the hands on the cigarette clock are just
time ticking away this love i've got
there's no way to make it stop before you wake
i know you're leaving me
this is not the way that i was brought up to believe that it would be
i know you're leaving me
i'm running round in circles trying to figure out
just who i'm supposed to be
we go down to prospect park
to watch the light become the dark
and i don't think i've ever been this scared
outside as the yellow moon rises
i know this time it won't surprise us
but that don't mean that i will be prepared
i know you're leaving me
this is not the way that i was brought up to believe that it would be
i know you're leaving me
i'm running round in circles trying to figure out
just who i'm supposed to be
i'm so tired of writing sad songs
but my mind's on misery
and i know there's time until you're gone
but i can't let it be
i can't let it be

many challenges are there
that I enjoy.
New culture
new languages
new rules
new way of thinking
make it romantic
that I enjoy.

I enjoy the mistake
I enjoy new experiments
I enjoy new manner of
Speaking writing

While speaking
in a foreign tongue
a new way of life

new words new lines

For Those Who Brought That to Others

Everyone they can name is blamed,
For the decline of their fantasized existence.
They insist reality be stopped.
The affects of it keeps them seeking shelter.
As if truth is an illusion that offers escape.
The madness unwraps upon mattresses,
Where no sleeping takes place for them.
They find themselves disgraced!
And faces before them frowning...
Are those who have lost their passion,
To keep up false impressions.
It is difficult to have had...
And to see what was possessed,
Gone.
It is like leaving a masquerade ball for some.
And for many...
They just can not seem to leave at all.
It is hard to feel a pity for their sadness.
It is hard to find a sorrow,
For those who brought that to others.
And turned their backs...
Uncaring and feeling no remorse!
But then,
Of course...
God and the Deities do not like ugly deeds!
Not to self pleasure while others are in need.
This pendulum switch is now witnessed!
