With the others they wrongly criticized?

How can deception so deep,
Now tossing and turning those feeling like fools...
Return them to a peaceful sleep?
When those who once respected one another,
Now don't care to each other to speak?

Well...
It's like this,
IF you participated in slandering those who had your back...
Because folks who care for others are like that.
Would you suddenly want to have a picnic,
To enjoy games and snacks?
With those who calculated...
In their character assassinations?

How would you feel if a friend campaigned,
To have you called crazy?
Would you want to sing with them,
The 'Hills Are Alive' with the sounds of music.
Collecting Daffodils and picking Daisies?

Eating and tasting from a selection of hors d'oeuvres...
And clicking glasses filled with champagne,
To lift those damaged and tainted 'spirits'?
To re-establish depths of concern?
Somehow...
I doubt it!
Complete lives have forever been ruined,
From all sides of those common playing fields...
Left to sit in unrelenting bitterness.
I doubt if hugging and kissing are acts,
That are yearned!

Not in the reality of things...
Bruised and busted!

No Exceptions Made

And now...
The clean up!
Like none ever done.
Some will not be in it for the healing of it!
Many will sit in bitterness.
In divisions that they are accustomed.

They will not accept,
A participation without choice.
There is a clean up that is going to be done!
By everyone.
There will be no exceptions made!

All of those you see,
Looking from the windows,
Inside the house?
If they wish to eat and sleep in comfort...
They will work the fields,
And yield to discipline!

They, them, those and others...
Will sweep the dirt,
Everyone let collect.
'This' will become your reality!

'He will never be 'my' president! '

I doubt if that is a concern of his.
He prefers the title...
Chief Delegator!

What is his concern...?
Everyone will do their chores!
Complete assignments.
And 'earn' their right to complain.
Including you!

You see those obstacles?
Those hurdles to be jumped?
Those problems to be solved!
They are tremendous.
Embrace them!
Consider them yours!
The best way to get familiar...
I suggest?
Less protest.
This is the 'change' you can believe in!

Anger of a little girl

are you glad at what you did?
make me feel shame and guilt,
all for your little games,
how dare you put your hands on a child,
and talk down to her,
because she knew what was right,
but was scared of you,
your little games you played,
is what she feared most,
having to put herself,

into a world where she was safe,
because her reality sucked,
how can you be ok,
doing the things you put her through?
growing up feeling like it was her fault,
when in reality,
you were to weak to take responsiblity,
for your actions and what you did wrong,
she hated the smell of smoke,
it what she would smell,

when you were having your fun,
she hates anything that's sexual,
that is surpose to be noraml,
but yet she can't enjoy it,
flashbacks run through her mind,
replaying every sick thing you done to her,
what i'm surpose to do,
get over it?
act like i'm ok,
guess what?

i'm not ok,
all of those times you made me your favorite,
i would take being alone and ignored,
over everything you have did to me,
i hate you now and for always will,
but this anger that i'm feeling inside,
is starting to show,
on the people i care about,
and who i want in my future,
you are a sick pig,

and i wish i could of stand up to you,
but i was just a child than,
i felt so helpless and scared,
those lies you told me,
were coming true the more the truth got out,
so i try to reverse it and keep it to myself,
as years go on this secret i kept inside,
was eating me alive and stopping me,
from living a full life,
not again,

i'm trying to let you go,
but it hard because i am so angry,
but it hurting me more holding on to this
only a few people in my life understands,
this was a major event in my life,
it will take some time,
but i'm proud to say,
i'm sorting through the facts,
i'm finding who i am,
and i am discovering,

i am none of those things you said i was,
i'm loving, caring and talented,
all of the things i feel you try to take away,
but you can never take away,
somebody true self,
no matter how much you tear them down,
they will always get back up,
and start fighting there way to the top,
because nobody deserve to feel,
less than what they are.

Self Doubt

Sometimes our minds are filled with self-doubt
at things we do in our lives,
yet to others they have a different point of view.
They see the things you do in another perspective.
When I was in self-doubt over my parenting skills,
not sure, if I made all the right decisions
a late friend said to me.
Look you have taken on two children which were not your own, raised them well.
There are many who wouldn’t even attempt
to do what you have done.
Do not ever say you are not a good father.
I am sure your children would have something different to say
if they compared their lives to what they used to have.
You may not be perfect no one ever is,
but you have done the best you could
and that is good enough for everyone.
Although I listened, the self-doubt persists.
Maybe they will never go away who can really tell.

I have burned the mid-night oil

Brokenness

They still wish to find,
A soft exit for their flaws.
With someone or somewhere...
They wish to lay the blame.
As to why they've left their foundations,
In shambles and shame.

Somehow excuses have to be found!
To explain the mess,

With a quality of life squeezed and dried.

But they try to explain away,

Hoping the existence of it...

Even with the credentials of those...
Who profess to have experience.
With some of them with law degrees.
And many who claim to be scholars...
Who teach their skills in college!
But none can use simplistic common sense...
To prevent a brokenness they have created.

There use to be folks who lived and believed,
They could create anything...
To have others accept as reality.

Sometimes I Feel

Sometimes I feel as if I am falling.
Sometimes I feel as if the world around me never stops spinning
Sometimes I feel like giving up and letting everything go
Sometimes I feel like a puppet in a show
Sometimes I feel like I should just scream
Sometimes I feel like life is nothing but a dream
Sometimes I feel as if I’m only fake
Sometimes I feel like even when I sleep I’m still awake

The dream the seems to hold me ever so tight
Being in the ever so warm sunlight
All the many things I seem to see
Can this be it, can this be the real me?
The darkness seems to fade away
I’m left shocked with nothing to say

Sometimes I feel as if I will never understand
Sometimes I feel as someone is holding my hand
Sometimes I feel completely crazy
Sometimes I feel ever so lazy
Sometimes I feel as if I lost it all
Sometimes I feel like they let me fall
Sometimes I feel as if I did so wrong
Sometimes I feel ever so strong

I know now that people really do care
I also know life isn’t always fair
There will always be so memories in my heart
Even if some seem to rip it apart
Love doesn’t always have to lead to hate
I know that I can make things better its not to late

Sometime I feel like I should just hide
Sometimes I feel to afraid to take a step outside
Sometimes I feel like just getting up to sing
Sometimes I feel like I can do anything
Sometimes I feel as all anyone can do is lie
Sometimes I feel ever so shy
Sometimes I feel happy and sad
Sometimes I feel ever so mad

I love playing in the rain
I can be strong but yet In a lot of pain
I’m not perfect nor do I want to be
I am content just being me
