From A Reference That Is Past Tense
Doing to get anything done for anyone,
Some are born with that philosophy.
With a need to give of themselves to others,
As others choose to do to them...
As they wish and please.
I've witnessed those relationships.
But there is a limit for me to this process of giving.
If it is hinted my doing done is taken for granted,
For anything from my heart I do...I am gone! C-ya.
And someone is going to find themselves distanced,
As I look at their disappearance...

To have awakened is a good thing to be!

Tell them anything to believe!
That kept policy of philosophy,
Remains as the chief cohesive reason...
Why too many can not accept,
A life they perceived to be denied...
Of an integrity wished from others.
With a wanting of it from them to get.
But learn they have been duped by lies.
Tell them anything to believe!
And those who have done this,
Today have their regrets to express.
If people are led to discover,
They no longer should and can respect...
What is there left to protect or expect,
From those giving their best but find themselves...
Totally disregarded and taken for granted to neglect.
And those who have chosen to tell folks anything,
But what is correct...

I keep stored in my library
a treasury of poetry.
These riches I’m prepared to share
with anyone who visits there.
They’re sure to find something to please
somewhere in my anthologies.
They’ll find great poets from the past.
Whose golden words were writ to last.
Philosophy and high romance
or choose at a random take a chance.
They’ll find more formal verse than free
but I think I can guarantee.
Theres something there to suit your taste
just take your time no need for haste.
If your inspired and wish to write
the desk is placed to catch the light.
The only rule you must obey
is do not take my books away.
Through hard experience I have learned
that borrowed books are not returned.
If you should choose to visit me
you’ll find me in my library.
That’s where I spend most of my time
composing metred verse in rhyme.

Thrombocytopenia
But you promised, but you promise.
And you died without even saying goodbye.
Anger, confusion, sorrow.
Feeling it through my heart as it becomes hollow.

Why did it have to be this way?
Questioning the very existence of the day.
As if it could be changed.
As time could be stopped, or rewound.
Please somebody hit pause then play.
Then just maybe it would be okay.

Sometimes the simplest of words will do.

To the point of insanity then there was only more.
I speak in past tense to help me move past the thoughts of it.
The grieving process.
A process that one time is more then a enough.
A ghost that has become this numbness.
A skeleton that haunts you in the back of your mind.
Flash backs from time to time.

Trying to grab on to stars before they fade.
With so much at stake.
Why does their have to be so many aches and pains.
When does the bleeding stop?
