Flavor Of The Month Club
Members of,
The Flavor Of The Month Club...
Love to dissect those they select,
Who speak too much truth...
And to them this upsets.
Members of the Flavor Of The Month Club,
Run from one event to the next...
Picking choices they all agree,
Will satisfy their insecurities...
With 'who' says what to feed their deceits.
And what does this accomplish?
A need not to face the truth.
A need to continue doing...
Those things they will pursue,
The taste of those condiments...
That keep them protected with more alibis and lies!
Those that have chosen new diets,
Have long been ostracized.

Take The Lid Off The Pot
Just take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
And savor all the flavor
That's inside of the pot
To then taste what that pot has got
It's been long in simming
With select ingredients
Mouths drool and this is seen
With a stirring up the scent
Eyes are watering with dreams
Now's the time to dip in and get eating
To stop the teasing that was meant
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
And savor all the flavor
That's inside of the pot.
To then taste what that pot has got
Delicious is the stew
To satisfy those licking lips
Deliciously it soothes
For those who sit and wish
With a wanting more of it!
Just take that lid off the pot
To savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take that lid off the pot
And savor all the flavor
That's inside of the pot
To then taste what that pot has got.
'What's the matter? '
There's none left!
'What are you saying?
What do you mean? '
It's gone
All of it
So
Take those memories you've got
And reminisce those wishes
That was inside that pot
There is not even a drop!

You're My Flavor
The way you love me
Is like a needle in my vein
When you're not around me
You know it just don't feel the same
And I've waited a long time
Just to feel the way I do
Just give me the reason
And I will be all over you
'Cause you're my flavor of love
You're my flavor I'm dreaming of
You're my flavor of love
You're my flavor I'm dreaming of
The way you touch me
Somehow it takes away the pain
And now I'm a junkie
I'm running around without a brain
I got the jones deep inside me
And you are what I wanna do
You give me this feeling
You always make me feel brand new
'Cause you're my flavor of love
You're my flavor I'm dreaming of
You're my flavor of love
You're my flavor I'm dreaming of
Flavor... Ouh come on
'Cause you're my flavor I'm dreaming of
You're my flavor of love
You're my flavor I'm dreaming of
'Cause you're my flavor
You're my flavor I'm dreaming of
Yeah yeah yeah
You're my flavor

You Got The Flavor
I don't really mean to lead you on
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor
Baby, baby, you got the flavor,
Baby, baby you got the flavor,
You got that flavor
You got it and I want it
You got the flavor and I really really need it, girl
Let's not get fakin',
I want you to shake it
Pretty girl, I don't really wanna lead you on
I don't really mean to lead you on
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor.
Chorus
Let's not get serious, just straight to business
Because your lovin'is all that I need.
My body's achin', don't feel like waitin', baby
Pretty girl, I don't really wanna lead you on
I don't really mean to lead you on,
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor
Chorus
I really want it, I really need it
Baby you got the flavor
I don't really mean to lead you on,
All I wanna do is take you home
'Cause you got that flavor
Baby, you got it, baby, I need it
You got that flavor.
RAP:
Yo it's Donnie
Call me the player, ya dig
Like your style, trip with with a New Did
Said she didn't want to, changed her mind
Backseat in the jeep and then I went for mine
Gotta go low, real low, nice and slow
Can't miss one color on the rainbow
Don't front, girl, you know what is about
Take your chance, turn my taste buds out
I don't really mean to lead you on
(I really don't baby, I really don't baby)
All I wanna do is take you home
You got that flavor.
Baby you got it, when I need it
Just come a little closer, babe,
All I wanna say is:
You got the flavor, baby, yes you do
...and I wanna taste you each and every day.

You Miss Flavor
In your mix,
You miss flavor.
With a leaving of your 'A' game.
In your mix,
You miss flavor.
You should have stayed there with it.
Half stepping gets you whipped,
Kissing dust.
From winds you stirred up.
But...
In your mix,
The taste of flavor is missing.
None there is offered,
As a wish to be nibbled.

Fasting
Fasting will enable you to color yourself
With the color of God
It is a wonderful way to go to paradise
During fasting
We do not eat, drink and enjoy sex
We do not sleep and drowse
We do not tell lies
And refrain from talking too much
Because these are some of God’s qualities
During the month of Ramadan
We perform more Salat
Than any other month
Because Salat is the best worship
And it safeguards us
From doing evil things
During the month of Ramadan
We give alms and charity
To the needy ones more than ever
Because God is the Kind and Giver
During the month of Ramadan
War is forbidden for the Muslims
Because God loves peace
In the month of Ramadan
The prestigious night exists
So that we can satisfy God
And become successful

On The Passing Of Dave Sheehan
Dave Sheehan worked for the Cork County Council and I'd known him since I was a Primary school going boy
A gentle soul one who kept a low profile and one might say he would not harm a fly
All those he came in contact with seemed to like him and a bad word of him not one had to say
For a big family a good bread winner and he worked hard till his retirement day.
One of the founder members of the Slanan Rovers a Gaelic Football Club in the Parish of Millstreet
When Slanan won the day he felt so happy though he was one who too smiled in defeat
The Slanan Rovers as a Club now defunct but nothing lasts for forever so they say
Perhaps the Club lost out to emigration the migrant boats took the young men away.
I last spoke to Dave Sheehan in the mid eighties and that's going back some two decades ago
In mid November in the Town of Millstreet the weather it was cold enough to snow
We talked about the birth of Slanan Rovers in Cloghoula where the Finnow waters flow
He and Neil Lehane and Danny Healy and Frank Riordan founder members from their ideas a Football Club did grow.
From the green country side around Cloghoula the young men they went off to live elsewhere
And the Slanan Rovers Club for lack of numbers was quick to founder into disrepair
The older players had been getting older and the young men had their own dreams to pursue
And another Gaelic Club went from Duhallow that without players the Club won't survive seems so true.
Dave Sheehan from Carrigacooleen gone forever in quiet old St Mary's he now lay
But in Duhallow he won't be forgotten and his soul will live for forever and a day
A gentleman and liked by all who knew him in life he never made an enemy
And sad to think that when I return to Millstreet that he is one I never more will see.

Our Car Club
Ive been cruisin round the town now with the guys for quite a while
We been thinkin bout starting up a club that shows some class and style
And well get the finest cars
We got a deuce coupe, a stingray, a rail job and an xke
(well start a car club)
Well be the fastest at the drags, man, well really cut some low ets
(well start a car club)
And wipe out the other clubs
Well set a meet, and get a sponsor, and collect some dues
And you can bet that well have our jackets on wherever we cruise
Well get the roughest and the toughest initiation we can find
(well start a car club)
And if you want to try to get in well really put you through the grind
(well start a car club)
This clubs the very best
Well set a meet, and get a sponsor, and collect some dues
And you can bet that well have our jackets on wherever we cruise
Well get the roughest and the toughest initiation we can find
(well start a car club)
And if you want to try to get in well really send you through the grind
(well start a car club)
This clubs the very best
Start a club, a car club
(start a car club)
Start a club, a car club
(start a car club)
Start a club, a car club
(start a car club)
Start a club, a car club

When It Can Not Be Served As Dessert
When truth becomes a negative aspect,
Of one's reality.
And it solicits unwarranted snide remarks?
Danger is embraced!
Dishonesty becomes apparent...
And blatantly shown upon one's face!
When truth becomes a negative aspect...
Those who know it well and tell it,
Are the ones who become disgraced!
Especially in places,
Where truth has been replaced...
By a sharing of deception,
That chases away facts distorted...
With accepted receptions.
And those demeaned,
For the audacity of crushing lies...
Told by the ones with insecurities to hide,
Are ostracized!
No matter how obvious,
The truth for them does not inside their minds reside!
A diminished quality of life becomes celebrated...
In campaigns of support,
With a rejoicing undenied!
Truth is deserted...
When it can not be served,
As dessert!

The pity of pities
In a year,
You brought me
Ten years younger.
In a month,
You sent me
Ten years older.
In a year,
You exuded my
Hormones to that of a lad.
In a month,
You defused it
Far less to one older than me.
In a year,
You kindled me
To soar to the peak.
In a month,
You bundled me
To plummet to the ditch.
But in a year,
You activated in me
The finest faculty.
It is in a month
That you motivated
It to result in fruiting.
In a month of setting,
Impulses suffered a lot.
Intellect reaped a lot.
Stress breeds in one
The best
Though in the process,
It upsets
Him, the pity of pities.
Can you put me back
To saddle high in the track?

The truth in you
I seek the truth in you
The weak lie is not you
So speak up, yes you
The truth hurts but it works
The truth simplifies and dignifies
The truth sooths preserving your youth
I ask the truth of you
Cry now, take a tissue
So speak up, yes you
The truth signifies and modifies
The truth is within and the best way to begin
The truth is a good start especially for sweethearts
I need the truth of you
Simply choose your venue
So speak up, yes you
The truth to any degree
Is a starting point to be free
Just like one and two make three
So speak up, yes you
If you agree

Seduced By Trivia
It is easier to take a taste that is sweetened.
Once seduced by trivia it becomes a wasted effort,
To reduce it to just a meaningless hype.
After it has blown to grow in significance,
To entice one's appetite.
Since a trivia introduced to praise delusion,
Feeds less on truth.
Until truth itself becomes viewed as ineffective.
And those most affected become conditioned to suspect,
Every aspect of truth with a wish to dissect it.
With a recruiting of those who have chosen to disrespect,
The presence of truth's existence...
To ensure none of it is left to have influence,
On anyone believing to be truthful is best.
It is easier to take a taste that is sweetened.
Until truth itself becomes viewed as ineffective.

Truth and Lies
Is the truth beyond our lies,
Say what you want,
Watch what you say,
For our hidden lies, we must pay.
In the darkness of the night,
In the brightness of the day,
Truth and lies have gone astray.
Does your truth contain a lie?
Black as coal, the midnight sky.
Truth will shine,
It is the light,
To tell the truth,
With a soul so bright.
Is truth defined just in the mind?
In the Prince of Darkenss lies defined.
Love of the truth will scorn the Devil,
Our truth must stay at our highest level.
Of these shortcomings,
Are we aware?
That we speak of lies so unaware!
Every lie turns the truth aside,
Our secret truths, we sometimes hide.

Club Soul City
Pack up your bags
Dont look back
Theres a little place
Out cross the the railroad tracks
If youre broken-hearted
And you dont know what to do
But they got a place down there thats just for you
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah
Theres a waitress at the back bar
Goes with the the guy that runs the place
Shes got hair like a weeping willow
And tears running down her face
Shes seen a lot of guys like you coming around
Looking for something that theyve lost
Or trying to lose something that theyve found
Down at
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah
So if youre down on your spirit
And there aint no-one who cares
If youre lost and youre lonely
You wont be lonely down there
You cant miss it, its just up the highway
On the front door theres a sign that says
Restricted to the losing kind
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah

Tear da club up, nigga, tear da club up
[dj paul]

The three six show no love, put some hurt on a trick
Im bustin through the crowd, wild, with my hand on a cannon
Be like quick to put two up in ya like who mana standin

If you think you fast man, headlines
Three left em up in a cast man
When I look into your eyes I see a coward
Face to face I hit ya
Three six mafiad rather die than
[lord infamous]
Lord, hittin, here comes the two to the three and four
Three six mafia I want ya to wreck it all over the club floor
Blowin and throwin your sets in the air
Ya bumpin them tables and chests everywhere
Trampled over by the macs and the playas
You standin there actin like you wonder where
It aint said we the hardest,
And you cant rock it like three six mafia can
All up in a trance in the prophecy van
We gonna tear the club up, get it bucked till it dont eelin me
(.....? ? .....)
Chorus: three six mafia (repeat 8x)
Tear da club up, nigga, tear da club up
[juicy j]
We tearin the club up, gettin buck
Haters try to call it rough
They better call security, bring them straight jackets and handcuffs
Aint takin it, aint takin it
The clutches I be breakin it
And rippin off the bosses and tossin them to the floor, bricks
Going through the window, got that thing at your temple
When they bust, keep it trust, and we aint talkin bout bustin pimples
Haters cant get with the mafia click, them fools aint buck enough
We gonna get the dynamite trick, and blow the club up
[gangsta boo]
Crazy lady comin at you, you cant fade me trick
I bet you bet you bottom dollar make you holla
When my soldiers get ya, I dont like that violence stuff
But I believe in gettin buck
If you with me, let me see you tear da, tear da club up
Mafia, mafi-mafia, wont stop with it though
Hypnotizing minds, we got you blind and you cant hear me though
Come and get it while you can trick, before its all gone
Goin once, goin twice, oh my God it just went gone
[crunchy black]
Oh, oh, oh, get buck, get wild
Lets tear this house right down
Lets tear da club up thugs
Lets do that stuff right now
No disrespect to the clubs, dont want none of that
But you got the three six mafia up in your house and
And we came to break the law, tear da club up
Ashes to ashes no dust to dust
And you cant trust three six mafia when we tearin that club up
Chorus: three six mafia (repeat 2x)
Tear da club up, nigga, tear da club up
[koopsta knicca]
Hypnotize I dont think they high enough
See I thought I told you to get buck and tear da club up
Do it like a lunatic since you down with the prophet click
Now can I blaze it kick it tell me can I kick it man
Since uh, (? ? ) days gone, get hypnotized
Lets start a riot in the club, lets get wild tonight
One little, two little, three triple six members
Four little, five little, six triple six members

Before They Chopped Them Down to Fall
Everyday it appears,
More people are going out of their way...
To reveal their insecurities,
By accusing a spoken truth!
That upsets their narrowed comprehensions.
And gossip and innuendos...
With character assassinations are then pursued.
And a practiced backstabbing,
To undo those of honesty too...
Is what people like this in privacy choose to do.
And not caring at all...
To see the forest for the trees,
Before they chopped them down to fall.
On themselves with bruises to leave.
This is reflected and seen in their environments.
How the loss of discreeted corruption...
Has been exposed to local residents.
Many express disbelief and can not comprehend this.
So accustomed they've been,
To being deceived...
By family members and their own friends.
Just for a few more dollars in their pockets to spend.
At the expense of betrayal and acts of treason,
Foolishly in an excitement that could not wait to begin.
But this has been the life,
People have chosen to achieve and succeed.
Whether this had been wrong or right...
Not too many perceived,
The ones eventually performing their own bleeding...
Would be from their own hands,
To bite and cut off their needs that kept them feeding.
With blinded addictions focused on greed.
That's what gluttony does to people like these.
On everything they claimed valued,
To have had worth.
And...
An ignorance initially refusing to listen,
Becomes installed...
Upon all,
Of self righteous deeds.

Truth
The truth about a truth is that
The truth can’t be concealed for long;
And when revealed, the truth appears
A bigger truth than what it was.
Truth is beautiful; splendid;
Truth is eternal; everlasting;
Truth is endearing to righteous hearts;
Truth is consoling, comforting;
Truth is perennial; evergreen;
Truth is God.
Truth is a virtue all yearn for;
Truth is global, heavenly;
Truth is uncompromising;
Truth is always encouraging;
Truth is desirable; exhilarating.
Truth is mankind’s ultimate search;
Truth is a great topic of research;
Truth is delighting; enchanting;
Truth is trust-worthy from
Beginning to the end.
No lies can hide a truth for long;
No lies can make a lie, a truth;
All lies will vanish leaving truth exposed,
As bright as ever any time.
