Financial Counseling
Don't you find it remarkable,
That those you labelled undesirable...
With a moving away from them decades ago,
Are now the ones most qualified...
To purchase your foreclosed home?
And you and the others,
Were booted out of most of them.
While from other homes,
They seem to be taking their time moving in.
'I thought you were here to provide me with,
Financial counseling.
Not teach me history.
I wish not to hear none of this.
With a lesson you believe I need to get.'
You are right.
Forgive me for that 'over zealous' insight.
I just thought in providing you financial counseling...
Being aware of 'your' history,
Might avoid you making similar judgement calls...
In your future.

The Case Of The Battered Women
The woman judgement makes the final decision.
And of the decision she could make it was the one I would never expect.
In battered woman case.
She gives the man the choice if he wants to work things out.
Go into separate counseling first she says if then if the counselors deem it okay.
It is time for the joint counseling.
Putting back together a marriage and removing a pfa.
Insane when this woman endured 12 years of abuse under this man hand.
One night in a drunk rampage he put her head through a coffee table.
And this woman thinks this will all go away with some aa meeting anger management and counseling.
Okay what are you exactly trying to condone.
And if he murders her will you take the responsibility for that error in your judgements.
With police reports as evidence.
I don't see or know why anyone would be so foolish as continue the cycle.
In the state of pa I'm glad I'm not a woman.

History may be past
History may be past
Embedded in memory and may not last
It is glorious past with memorable events
Preserved with honor as unforgettable counts
As the things can be clearly seen in mirror
History will site you mistakes and errors
It may not repeat in near future or for times to come
We take pride for being a part and welcome
How many bloody wars have been fought?
Was peace not explored or sought?
Why so much bitterness about past?
Why still not coming to terms very fast?
How can I forget that number of times country was invaded?
How can that easily it be wiped out that in problem we were landed?
The poverty, helplessness and backwardness come before like picture?
Making me restless with burning rage at heart for future
I am for sure and everybody will share
You can not equate past with future
The present is in between to balance
It must be thought over and given chance
We can’t carry bitterness all along
History may not pardon us for pursuing wrong
If we had rich tradition in forgiving the evil and past
We must surely feel elated with very good start
We have witnessed hostility running in for decades
It has no reasons to be continued for indefinite days
Each passing day is proving costly and very deadly
We must learn lesson from it and end it immediately
It is invaluable treasure to have it as glorious history
New generation can take pride in not feel sorry
It is freedom and free environment that we intended to give
For our lapses they may surely understand forgive
History can be considered as past milestones
The present can not ignore it and consider as bye gone
We have come to stay here as inseparable part
Even thought it may be unworthy or glorious past
What does this indicate in particular?
Do we want to create the situation like similar?
It is thing of past and must be buried sincerely
We have to pick positive threads and weave it neatly
It will be great tribute to our elderly statesman
They left behind for us a rich and healthy tradition
It is for us to judge the past and shape the destiny
Time may force us to explain our conduct to many
It is our duty to preserve
Assess the situation and observe
Freedom and past must be close to our mind
Yet another similar situation always too find

Black History Month
In January...
There they are making history.
In February...
There they are making history.
In March...
There they are making history.
In April...
There they are making history.
In May...
There they are making history.
In June...
There they are making history.
In July...
There they are making history.
In August...
There they are making history.
In September...
There they are making history.
In October...
There they are making history.
In November...
There they are making history.
In December...
There they are making history.
But...
It's nice to know
The shortest month of the year
Was chosen to celebrate
The great deeds of African-Americans!
However...
It is those LEAP YEARS,
That really have the blacks jumping for joy!

The World Is My Therapist And I'm In Counseling Right Now
Got my share of ugly, done did and said things I ain't proud of, I mean some ugly things, but what a real man does is ask God for forgiveness and whoever he have wrong.
We ain't perfect, we gonna make wrong decisions and sometimes even hurt people we love
For whatever reason it maybe, we do or say things that affect our lives forever and it sometimes changes our lives putting us a different course
The world is my therapist and I'm in counseling right now
Got a lot of hurt, anger, and frustrations in my life, the war in Liberia how traumatizing it was, life in America how hard and trial it can sometime be, interpersonal problems, such as people trying to break up your parents marriage, and then on top of that your own personal love problems and battling financial confidence
The world is my therapist and I'm in counseling right now
We may sometimes bend all the the way to the end but I never break, I never break......
Stronger than any rubber band or any bamboo reef, or better a diamond in a rough, I was made through extreme heat pressure, made harder than African Ivory and Tennessee marble
The world is my therapist and I'm in counseling right now
Yeah, tell me what's wrong with me, pick me out, pick me in, dissect me, tell me what I did wrong and tell me where I went wrong,
So at the end of day when all else fails and people right you off, God will be the only there and to hear you out
Perfection is what I am really striving for honestly. All these sleepless nights for different reasons,
So don't judge me for my flurries because I don't have any worries, as we say in Liberia, seeke fa fair, what's for you shall see your face
The world is my therapist and I'm in counseling right now

Cruel
Oh yeah
Born no longer a baby
Always trying to keep
In one place for long, oh long enough to sleep
Oh sleep and dreams are here the same
Gone'n got no rest
They'll no longer speak to you. moving on again
I'm moving on... moving on again
Well I'm moving...moving on again
Baby you're so cruel
You're cruel to yourself you never understand
Boy'll never do ya no harm
For you to build the frame of the bed you sleep upon
So spill your milk and honey
And get your kicks off your next man
Bigger than you think and you make him go, go on
Oh you make him...moving on again
Oh he's moving on...moving on again
Baby you're so cruel
Thought about the dream is so real now
These are dreams of mine you're so aimless...so aimless
You baby, you're so cruel
Wonder what you're gonna think of yourself
When the phone calls fade away
As you hold his shoulders, did you think it would come to this day
Ask yourself why he's off
When others surround you
He was one of many on the day that he found you
Oh you're moving...moving on again
Yeah you're moving...moving on again
Yeah you're moving...moving on again
Baby you're so cruel

And religion causes most of the problems, war, and economics of course, and study your history or you're going to repeat it; and if you're burning a Harry Potter book you need some serious counseling, you don't get it, you're missing the whole point.

The thought of every group is seen as arising out of its life conditions. Thus, it becomes the task of the sociological history of thought to analyse without regard for party biases all the factors in the actually existing social situation which may influence thought. This sociologically oriented history of ideas is destined to provide modern men with a revised view of the whole historical process.

From A Moving Train
Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Ive seen the ides of march
And Ive seen the fall of rome
Ive seen all kinds of stuff
But I never see my home
If my life-line is
These million miles of track
One thing I know by now
There is no turning back
From a moving train
From a moving train
From a moving train
From a moving train
If every venture was
A path to no avail
Id still be rolling down
This never ending trail
If we had a destination
In our sights
We would be helpless as
We passed it in the night
From a moving train (hear the engine running)
From a moving train (you can get on board)
From a moving train (hear the motor humming)
From a moving train (see, youve gotta see the light)
And if by chance you find a woman
That you might love along the way
You better hold her tight
Tell her everythings alright
Or she might jump along the way
From a moving train (hear the engine running)
From a moving train (you can get on board)
From a moving train (hear the motor humming)
From a moving train (see, youve gotta see the light)
From a moving train (hear the engine running)
From a moving train (you can get on board)
From a moving train (hear the motor humming)
From a moving train (see, youve gotta see the light)

At many points during our nation's history, there have been times - known in our history textbooks as ""panics"" - when adverse conditions affecting the financial and economic sectors of the country have caused individuals to hoard more than they need.
In the financial system we have today, with less risk concentrated in banks, the probability of systemic financial crises may be lower than in traditional bank-centered financial systems.

Were History
You look to me for some outstanding meaning
You got the devil in your eyes and nothing in your soul
If you think Im gonna sell myself, then you must be dreaming
Theres no way, Im gonna fall into your hole
You never seem to help me when Im bleeding
You gotta knife for a tongue and youre tearing at my heart
I thought you were a friend, but in truth you never liked me
You lied and cheated us from the start
You are wrong, love doesnt last forever
Youre nothing new there is no mystery
Now youre gone you thought you were so clever
You and me are now history, were history...
Solo
I dont like your face
I dont like your eyes
I dont like your lips, I hate your lies
This times the last time its goodbye time
You are wrong, love doesnt last forever
Youre nothing new there is no mystery
Now youre gone you thought you were so clever
You and me are now history, were history...
Were history, were history
I dont need you and I dont care
Were history, were history...

Got To Be Moving On
Sombody told me - there's something better down that way
So don't try to hold me - 'Cos it's all I got to say
Is can't stay
I got to be moving - I got to be moving on
Yeah I got to moving - I got to be moving on
Next time you look around - you may find me gone
I've got to be moving - moving on
Free - nothing can hold me down
What you're loving - is what you found
So don't try to change it
Oh free - I've got to keep moving on
Where ever it takes me - where ever it goes
Somebody told me - there's something better down that way
So don't try to hold me - 'Cos it's all I got to say
Is can't stay
Got to be moving - got to be moving on
Got to be moving - got to be moving on
WHenever you see me - you'll know me by this song
Yeah I - I got to be moving on
Moving on

How Can You Keep On Moving
(agnes cunningham)
(c) - (f) - (g)
(c) how can you keep on moving un (f) less you migrate (c) too
They tell ya to keep on moving but (g) migrate, you must not do
The (c) only reason for moving and the (f) reason why i (c) roam
To move to a new lo (g) cation and find myself a (c) home
I can't go back to the homestead, the shack no longer stands
They said i was uneeded, had no claim to the land
They said, "come on, get moving, it's the only thing for you"
But how can you keep moving unless you migrate too
Now if you pitch your little tent along the broad highway
The board of sanitation says, "sorry, you can't stay"
Come on, come on, get moving it's their everlasting cry
Can't stay, can't go back, can't migrate, so where the hell am i
How can you keep on moving unless you migrate too
They tell ya to keep on moving but migrate, you must not do
The only reason for moving and the reason why i roam
To move to a new location and find myself a home

Moving on
Moving On
By: Jean Pullman
Today was just like any other
I saw you in the morning then left to my job
And when I came home I saw you with her
Well guess what
CHORUS
I’m moving on
I want you gone
I don’t want anything to do
With another like you
Yeah I’m moving on
You told me lies
You cheated on me too
I thought I was in love
And now I know I was wrong
So now I guess I will be fine
Not wasting my time
No
CHORUS
I’m moving on
I want you gone
I don’t want anything to do
With another like you
Yeah I’m moving on
So were done and there ain’t no going back
So please stop calling
So please stop writing
Because I am through with the hurt
And I won’t make it work

Credit crunch!
I hear no sound of joy or laughter
As the markets crash like thunder
Take a look at the whole financial bunch
Many made money on just a keypunch
Banks which once stood brave
Are now begging to be saved
With Governments pumping billions into banks
Because many claim to have empty money tanks
People’s savings are wiped off the record
Sit home! Sit home! Calculate what you can afford
For fast is this growing curse flowing
As the financial chaos wind keeps blowing
On each lip only two words are spoken
Credit-Crunch!
Behold the whole Financial Market is broken!

The History Teacher
Woman!
Where exactly
Did you put me
In the women's history?
Am I History?
Or a part of it?
And for how long you are lacking me in;
Between
Your History,
Women's History, and
Your archives?
Does time make sense to you
As a History teacher or
As a History professor?
Cause', History, buying time, and rejuvenation
Are for emperors.
Are you making me
An emperor?
Or a Faeroe?
If so,
How precise your are?
And if you can't feel my present presence
how possibility could you feel me through your archives?

And She Was
And she was lying in the grass
And she could hear the highway breathing
And she could see a nearby factory
Shes making sure she is not dreaming
See the lights of a neighbors house
Now shes starting to rise
Take a minute to concentrate
And she opens up her eyes
The world was moving and she was right there with it (and she was)
The world was moving she was floating above it (and she was) and she was
And she was drifting through the backyard
And she was taking off her dress
And she was moving very slowly
Rising up above the earth
Moving into the universe
Drifting this way and that
Not touching ground at all
Up above the yard
Chorus
She was glad about it... no doubt about it
She isnt sure where shes gone
No time to think about what to tell them
No time to think about what shes done
And she was
And she was looking at herself
And things were looking like a movie
She had a pleasant elevation
Shes moving out in all directions
Chorus
Joining the world of missing persons (and she was)
Missing enough to feel alright (and she was)

Tell Me
(s. hoffs/v. peterson)
Susanna and vicki
Threw away the things you loved
Now you want me to forgive you
Surprise surprise, Im moving on
Yeah, Im moving on
What a shock it is to see
That I can walk away so easily
Isnt it funny how hard its turned out
This time Im moving on
Tell me, tell me
While I still have the time
Are you gonna find a love
Thats truer than mine
One, two, three abandon me
Aint no turning back again
Well too bad baby, this time you lose
cause Im moving on.
Tell me, tell me
While I still have the time
Are you gonna find a love
Thats truer than mine
One, two, three abandon me
Aint no turning back again
Well too bad baby, this time you lose
cause Im moving on
Im moving on
