Face And Fix Those Obstacles

Face and fix those obstacles.
If ignored they will continue to grow.
If you don't do it,
They will never let you go.
And you will be the one regretting...
With eyes not words seen,
With an eyebrow or two lifted...
Expressing this, 'We told you so! '

Face and fix those obstacles.
If ignored they will continue to grow.
If you don't do it,
They will never let you go.
And you will be the one regretting...
With eyes not words seen,
With an eyebrow or two lifted...
Expressing this, 'We told you so! '

Scoop them up with a boot.
Don't be the one regretting.
Snip them quick from the root,
Don't be the one regretting.
Don't adorn your stress as if...
Accessories to brag about,
Like you've been given gifts.

Maybe Youre Right

Now maybe youre right and maybe youre wrong
But I aint gonna argue with you no more
Ive done it for too long.
It was getting so good why then, where did it go?
I cant think about it no more tell me if you know.
You were loving me, I was loving you
But now there aint nothing but regretting
Nothing, nothing but regretting everything we do.
I put up with your lies like you put up with mine,
But God knows we should have stopped somewhere,
We could have taken the time,
But time has turned, yes, some call it the end.
So tell me, tell me did you really love me like a friend?
You know you dont have to pretend,
Its all over now itll never happen again, no no no,
Itll never happen again , it wont happen again
Never, never, never, itll never happen again
No, no, no, no.....
So maybe youre right, and maybe youre wrong
But I aint gonna argue with you no more
Ive done it for too long.
It was getting so good why then, where did it go?
I cant think about it no more tell me if you know.
You were loving me, I was loving you
But now there aint nothing but regretting
Nothing, nothing but regretting everything we do.

Use Me

Use me
I'm beautiful
Take me
I'm yours
Hurt me
It feels like medicine
And all i deserve
People have funny things
Swimming inside
They swing like pendulums
That turn like the tides
Darling
I don't need money
I could be happy
With someone to love
Oh what a crazy time
I've been a fool
On a wild ride to oblivion
I lost my mind
But with you it's understood
You make me feel strong
Your arms look so powerful
When they hold me down
Darling
I don't need money
I could be happy
With someone to love
Everyone looks dangerous
And noone keeps their promises
And i am always running
And you have your dark places
Regretting
Feeling
Remembering
Something
We never said (regretting)
We wish we said (something)
We should have said (regretting)
We could have said (something)
Truly
I don't need money
Or strangers to love me
Or diamonds and pearls
Or fast cars
Designed for the rock stars
I could be happy
With someone to trust
Someone to love
Someone to trust
Use me
I'm beautiful
Take me
I'm yours

Its Ours, All Ours

Notes written in blood.
The intention of a malcontented suicide.
Medication for the kids.
Regretting the one life we live.
Its ours, all ours.
We got nobody to blame but ourselves.
A little self discipline for every one of the sins.
Pray and just hope your forgiven.
Take it to the grave.
This the one life we must save.

Notes written in blood.
The intentions of a malcontented suicide.
Medication for the kids.
Regretting the one life we live.
Its ours, all ours, Point the finger,
call out a name. Its the blame game.
It never changes. action and reaction.
A contradiction with every word we speak.
Take it all in.
Accepting everything the way it is.
Stop the self mutilation and the persona that goes with it.
Pain all in measure.
It amounts to a count that has no meaning.
Every time it gets worse.
Notes written blood.
The intention of a malcontented suicide.
Medication for the kids.
Regretting the one life we live.
Its ours, all ours, all ours.
Giving up the most precious gift.
Caught in the rift. Overacting to get it right.

Very Close To You

Just want to scream everything loudly. Wish, I could just fly to where I belong. No pain would then remain in my heart and everything would just be perfect. Nothing to regret, simply things will become little easier if I reach to the place where I belong. Things are never really perfect, still a glimpse I would get of the dreams I dreamt. Feelings of mine will stop regretting because I simply want to fly.
Everything I want to express once to my love. She should know that for me she is the only one. Never ever have I loved someone so much more than her. Scream, I want to scream my love for you with all the love which I have got for you. Regretting I am nothing since my feelings have only you and I wish that I could reach to you. Closer, very close to you.

It's Time For You To Awaken

No one is disconnected,
From the effects of having less.
Those protesting the state of the economy,
Are the ones in selfish isolation.
Regretting what the times have met.
Believing in a stubborn mindset kept protected...
Their interests are in abundance.
And there is some of that still left.

What is known is not accepted.
What is revealed many reject.
What has been exposed and has all of us affected...
Many refuse to remove delusions.
With a wish to keep reaching,
For a movement kept in backward steps.

No one is disconnected,
From the effects of having less.
Those protesting the state of the economy,
Are the ones in selfish isolation.
Regretting what the times have met.
Believing in a stubborn mindset kept protected...
Their interests are in abundance.
And there is some of that still left.

'What is it that you are trying to prove? '

I'm not trying to prove anything.
It is your snoring that is boring.
And getting on my nerves.
It's time for you to awaken.
To face the truth that is being served.

No One So Much As You

No one so much as you
Loves this my clay,
Or would lament as you
Its dying day.

You know me through and through
Though I have not told,
And though with what you know
You are not bold.

None ever was so fair
As I thought you:
Not a word can I bear
Spoken against you.

All that I ever did
For you seemed coarse
Compared with what I hid
Nor put in force.

My eyes scarce dare meet you
Lest they should prove
I but respond to you
And do not love.

We look and understand,
We cannot speak
Except in trifles and
Words the most weak.

For I at most accept
Your love, regretting
That is all: I have kept
Only a fretting

That I could not return
All that you gave
And could not ever burn
With the love you have,

Till sometimes it did seem
Better it were
Never to see you more
Than linger here

With only gratitude
Instead of love -
A pine in solitude
Cradling a dove.

Many Don't Get It At All

The bolder ones get all the gold.
At least this is the story we are told,
That's kept.
No matter who sits...
Regretting the guess.

Many have done it.
Many still live it.
And many don't get it at all.

Wondering about the menu.
And what deal appeals.
Wondering about the service.
And who cooked the meal!
After what they ate is gone...
Oh ooooh.
After feeling weak,
And not strong!

Many have done it.
Many still live it.
And many don't get it at all.
After what they ate is gone...
Oh ooooh.
After feeling weak,
And not strong!

The tried and true seem to know what to do.
After a bitter taste done has not left!
They don't repeat upsetting steps.

Many have done it.
Many still live it.
And many don't get it at all.
After what they ate is gone...
Oh ooooh.
After feeling weak,
And not strong!
Oh ooooh.
And knowing something has gone wrong.
Oh ooooh...
Becoming nauseous with themselves.
All day long.

Many have done it.
Many still live it.
And many don't get it at all.
After what they ate is gone!
Oh ooooh...
Knowing what they could have had,
Has-moved-on!

The bolder ones get all the gold.
At least this is the story we are told,
That's kept.
No matter who sits...
Regretting the guess.

And those who do not guess but live.
Are the ones who get the gold.

Many have done it.
Many still live it.
And many don't get it at all.
Feeling weak...
And not strong!
Oh ooooh.
Feeling they do not belong.
Oh ooooh...
And so many have done it.
Many still live it.
And many wont get it at all.
Because they're on their butts too long!
Oh ooooh...
Because they're on their butts too long!

When you are very old...

translation of a famous sonnet by Pierre de Ronsard (1524-1585)
from Sonnets for Hélène

When you are very old, at evening, by the fire,
spinning wool by candlelight and winding it in skeins,
you will say in wonderment as you recite my lines:
'Ronsard admired me in the days when I was fair.'

Then not one of your servants dozing gently there
hearing my name's cadence break through your low repines
but will start into wakefulness out of her dreams
and bless your name - immortalised by my desire.

I'll be underneath the ground, and a boneless shade
taking my long rest in the scented myrtle-glade,
and you'll be an old woman, nodding towards life's close,

regretting my love, and regretting your disdain.
Heed me, and live for now: this time won't come again.
Come, pluck now - today - life's so quickly-fading rose.

After You Came

Since it began Ive got one dream and really its my only blessing
If I can come through then so can you
And you will find theres no regretting
Things that you want from your lifes font
Will never let your spirit grow
Come back to earth for what its worth
For youve been dreaming of the ceiling not a home
Ive been doing my best
What else can I do?
Is there something Ive missed
That will help you through
Ive reached the top of my wall
Ive found another way to fall
For some short time
For a while you and I were joined to eternity
Then were split in two back to me and you
Like the rain rising from the sea
Rising from the sea
We all can see what we shall be
But knowings really not controlling
With time perhaps Ill pass the traps and find some peace and understanding
After youve come and while youre gone
You leave me guessing - its depressing
Never to know the way to go to find some time along a little less pressing
So you just have to laugh
When it hurts so much
Youre so far away and so hard to touch
Ive reached the top of my wall
Ive found another way to fall
Since it began Ive got one dream and really its my only blessing
If I can come through then so can you
And you will find theres no regretting
Things that you want from your lifes font
Will never let your spirit grow
Come back to earth for what its worth
For youve been dreaming of the ceiling not a home

Teacher Of Lessons

Shouldn't someone expect,
A life of regretting a planting of misdeeds.
After they have discovered,
The one person they decided to pick on...
Was not the person they thought.
But was a lover of playing cat and mouse.

And that one person they decided to pick on...
Decided not to be the turn the other cheek,
Forgiving kind.
Oh no.
This one decided it was time to teach a mind.

And had in fact been a teacher of lessons.
With a knack of customizing lesson plans.
Suitable to be understood,
As to 'who' one should have left alone.
To make it clear it is best not to judge a book,
By its cover for effective results to get.
Especially if one is not familiar with the contents.

Shouldn't someone expect,
A life of regretting...
After they have discovered,
The one person they decided to pick on...
Has long been a master of human interaction.

And...
Had in fact,
Been a teacher of lessons.
With a knack of customizing lesson plans.
Some less painful to accept when delivered direct,
Than those taught unexpectedly to leave the student...
Frrling unsure what test is coming next.

Why do some people pick those to be subjected,
They believe to them will be easy to shame...
With a branding of a quick defamation.
