Essentialness
Subjected to the essentialness of things.
There is a mood that dictates,
The essentialness of things.
When the importance of 'it' is given...
And how much of a priority is placed.
But should we wait in debate,
To enhance an effectiveness?
Or chase it with impatience,
If there is a mood that dictates.
Subjected to the essentialness of things.
And when it comes...
It brings its own taste!
A certainty not to go to waste.
And maybe subject to change!
Replacing what has been debated.
Subjected to the essentialness of things.
Like something one has eaten...
Does not meet a later craving,
One had envisioned to devour...
And let satiate without it becoming sour.
Subjected to the essentialness of things.
When discussed in the hour,
Of exchange.
Or at a later date.
Arriving when it does...
And not considered to be late!
To deliver an anticipated freshness.
Subjected to the essentialness of things.

Subjected to Listening
To convey an absence of knowledge,
Of hardships and dysfunctions...
To not have them focused upon,
As is wished.
Is commendable.
In fact...
These award winning performances given,
Are daily witnessed.
'To belabor my steps will not ease my journey.
And it continues.
Each blessing I accept as I move forward.
And today I find myself subjected to listening.
While others may reject the notion of devotion...
Commitment and the positive aspects of patience,
Growth and change...
I find myself subjected to listening!
And it was stubbornness in my past...
That has helped me with today's gains.
I find myself subjected to listening!
And that has helped me to maintain.'

Not guilty by the hour
‘Guilty or not guilty’, he asks
She says, ‘Not guilty by the hour’
Her face looking very sour
Not guilty by the day
If you look at things my way
I stand here a bruised flower
Helplessly ripped of all her power
Dreading been subjected
To another punishing shower
If today I am jailed
Then society has failed
It is he who should have been long nailed
So she says, ‘Not guilty by the hour’
Her face looking very sour
Not guilty by the day
If you look at things my way
Many a time I have cried
Knowing how hard I’ve tried
A victim of domestic violence
Dismissed by all as nonsense
Ignoring my pleas by pretence
Enduring yearly beatings and mental abuse
Even my public cries seemed to be of no use
As I stand before you all wrongly accused
With my very own hands
I have taken away a life
Without the use of a knife
But I’m not guilty by the hour
Her face looking very sour
Not guilty by the minute
If you take your time and sit
Examine every fact without prejudice bit by bit
Not guilty by the day
If you look at things my way
For with the drunkenness of a violent man
Sprung the madness of an innocent woman
Yet I profess to be hundred percent human

Things Are Getting Better
Well I worked for a week and I got no pay.
(things getting better.)
Well my babys coming back home to stay
(things getting better.)
Well shes coming back home, but I havent got a dime
(things getting better.)
But Ive got my love to keep me fine[? ].
(things getting better.)
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Well since my babys been away,
(things getting better.)
Well things got worse from day to day.
(things getting better.)
Well now my babys come back to me.
(things getting better.)
Yeah, itll get better, wait and see.
(things getting better.)
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Well I pawned my watch and I sold my car.
(things getting better.)
The money Ive got wouldnt get me far.
(things getting better.)
But I dont mind now that youve packed.
(things getting better.)
Its a fact, that
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.

When Will Things Change
the world is unworthy and things countine to be dirty when will things change. when the world is full of mess and people just countine to strees, when will things change. when the streets are some of our homes never knowing why were alone, when will the world change. people cry at night just to give up a fight, when will things change. when you need to cry and you need someone 'why' when will things change.
when the world is sour and people have way to much power, when will things change. crying about the past, the things that never last. when will things change. when the world around you is cold, and shared feelings never seem to bold when will things change. when the world comes at you fast and ever part of your stress continues to last. when will things change.

Intolerant society
We are becoming intolerant society
This development is added with new variety
Who is to be blamed for all lawlessness environments?
What type of pet or good words we deserve as comments
Youth is committed to bring glory
We feel guilty with shame and express sorry
Why is the woman athlete subjected to cruel behavior?
Who is coming forward to act as saviors?
We have become aggressive and less tolerant
In fact we are limiting self by remaining ignorant
There is nothing as such in life to get irritated
It is human mind that stands totally subjected
What does it take into account?
The overall prosperity and progress to count
Not by self but by fellow man or neighbor
This leads to imbalance and creates place for ideas to harbor
The religious thoughts, high rate of illiteracy also matter
The wealth accumulation and job opportunities increase or shatter
It is dangerous to leave in place where divide is so high
You may have full liberty but can’t have enough space to fly
Such things do prevail in all the circumstances
We can cite number of instances
Still with strong resolve the gap can be narrowed down
The faults and lapses can be avoided and owned

Objectified
All beautiful things meet their demise
Flowers in bloom surely will die
Frozen are the wings of the dead butterfly
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Clouds of gray spoil the light of the skies
The ocean must fall in order to rise
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
I knew I was doomed when you first said, “Hi.”
Two ships in the night, we were bound to collide
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Four months can pass in the blink of an eye
We lose ourselves without having to try
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
The simplest words become hard to define
You can’t see the truth when you cover your eyes
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Your pay the price to take this ride
Slowly, you find that you’re living a lie
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Pictures of us will fade over time
We become strangers in a world so wide
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
You’ll keep on searching for what you won’t find
You’ll lose your faith while I lose my mind
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Sometimes your morals get left behind
It will be too late when you realize
Because all beautiful things meet their demise

Walking In My Shoes
i would tell you about the things
They put me through
The pain i've been subjected to
But the lord himself would blush
The countless feasts laid at my feet
Forbidden fruits for me to eat
But i think your pulse would start to rush
Now i'm not looking for absolution
Forgiveness for the things i do
But before you come to any conclusions
Try walking in my shoes
You'll stumble in my footsteps
Keep the same appointments i kept
If you try walking in my shoes
Morality would frown upon
Indecency looked down upon
The scapegoat fate's made of me
But i promise now, my judge and jurors
My intentions couldn't have been purer
My case is easy to see
I'm not looking for a clearer conscience
Peace of mind after what i've been through
And before we talk of any repentance
Try walking in my shoes
You'll stumble in my footsteps
Keep the same appointments i kept
If you try walking in my shoes
Try walking in my shoes
Now i'm not looking for absolution
Forgiveness for the things i do
But before you come to any conclusions
Try walking in my shoes
You'll stumble in my footsteps
Keep the same appointments i kept
If you try walking in my shoes

Edible?
You may choose to fool yourself,
With overused semantics.
To recreate definitions as you wish.
With an appeal to appease.
Philosophies are just what they are...
Subjected to limitations.
Edible?
They are not!
But they can feed,
The minds of those...
Who choose to gather,
In preparation to debate.
And some may not have a taste for that.
To leave just as pleased.

The bandits in the mountain are easily subjected, but it is difficult to subject the bandits in my heart.
Released to be Re-Leased
How has the economy affected some people?
It has exposed presumptions,
Of those with turned up noses.
To bring reality into an uncomfortable conflict.
Dropping many folks from an ego A list.
With creative ways...
To interpret their reintroduction back into reality.
But still with the best of snob appeal!
This has become quite upsetting.
For so many enforced to stop lease payments.
As well as claims of having ownership of things.
Now subjected to release...
Those precious 'holdings' found to be re-leased!
'We have decided to use our equity,
In the purchase of can goods, subway tokens...
And bus passes!
This year we are ever so determined,
To regain a more physical stamina.
By shedding those things we do not need.
It was such a heartbreaking decision to make!
But it was either that...
Or put off our training to conquer the Himalayan peaks.'
~Can these folks get any phonier than they are? ~
Of course they can.
It is in their blood!

A time to adjust
It is known fact that body is subjected to decay
It may have to disappear in clay without any delay
No one may keep it in home for even one day
As it has no soul or life in it to lead the way
It has its stipulated and certain life span
One has to live with it and accordingly plan
It may not warn of its arrival and suddenly strike
One may watch it helplessly with like or dislikes
So it is uncertain whether one may last long to live
It is wholly dependent and got to believe
No one can stay here and choose heavenly course
Till that time comes he may enjoy it here of course
The world has not changed and remained same as before
Nothing new has taken place or come to the fore
It has to be understood plainly with true context
How do we know what is in store next?
Why not to shun the violence and choose peace?
Why not to allow some space to live at ease?
You are not first to realize it or even late
It is certain and can’t be attributed to fate
You are answerable to conduct and conscience
It is certain and not to be admitted in presence
Some of things can be done very easily
Rest of the things can be adjusted and spent happily
To your surprise you may see it happen
The process may not be all of sudden
It may yield surprises some days later
It must be accorded top priority matter
No one may shed tear when you depart
You think seriously and start
At later stage you will be down with humiliation
The conscious may bite and raise many questions
It is silly on our part to carry ill will
You have mind to take revenge and fill
You are well prepared to deliver the blow
There may be no easy calm to flow
One must keep away at certain age
It is right time to come out of the cage
It is time to assess and look back for review
The things may not be denied if it was due
It is not that difficult to adjust
One has right way of thinking and it is must
It has proper time and place
One can think over it and calmly face
*This is only area where we have no jurisdiction

Too Patient
When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
That no longer exist.
I had placed people,
Who I considered friends on this list.
And for years they had been on it...
Doing and saying things to me as they wished.
Some don't speak to me.
But my name is on their lips.
When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
That should not on my list exist!
Very few on my priority list,
Have me on their agenda.
And if they do,
I'm sure it's for fun, sport and gossip.
When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
I couldn't not explain...
Why some names had hearts near them.
Did I do that?
Did I draw them in?
I use to dropp every and anything,
To be at someone's aide.
Some people I would call everyday...
Just to see if they were okay.
I've even allowed my own work to be submitted...
So folks could get their college degrees.
Joking about this,
I am not!
I have been the subject of innuendos and lies,
As if my life meant nothing at all.
To leave me to walk around with 'my' pain disguised.
Then I awakened and realized.
I am considered a fool!
Today...
When I began to weed through,
My priority list...
I saw some things on it,
That no longer exist.
And wondered to myself 'WHY'...
Is this stuff still 'there'.
Get rid of it!
This makes no sense.
Why do you have these people's lives,
Prioritized?
'That is being too patient!
Fix this and get this done quick! '
I have moments when I am completely rational.

It's All Quite Relative
It's all quite relative and subjected to a fast pace.
That which one rates with choices made.
To delight the taste of one...
But to another might be low grade.
And people are known to change their minds,
Everyday and quick to adapt to that which does not stick.
To erase and add to an extensive preference list.
With a forgetting of an agenda to dismiss a need for it.

Effort
It takes initiative.
Sometimes unrelenting...
To accomplish a task,
From the beginning to end.
And there are times,
What one has chosen to do...
May be too much loved,
To ever give up to walk away.
With motivation, purpose and direction,
It takes effort to make things work.
It takes sacrifice applied.
And initiative with sacrifice 'and' devotion...
May require dedication for the rest of one's life.
Depending on how deeply one is determined and affected.
No matter how easy or hard it may look,
From the outside looking in.
It takes effort to make things work.
It takes sacrifice applied.
And initiative with sacrifice 'and' devotion.
With that set in motion,
Few people could careless how they are perceived.
Knowing blood, sweat and many tears,
May never be subjected to leave.
Oh yes...
It takes effort to make things work.
It takes sacrifice applied.
And with that set in motion,
In the heart of one devoted...
Few doing this could careless,
How they are perceived by the rest.
It takes an effort that will be tested.
