Dissatisfactions

If one thought of goodwill came to sit,
It should be welcomed and not resisted!
Overtaxed minds with high crime images
Aren't gifts to treasure
Or accept under any circumstances.
Somehow we have interpreted freedom
To mean indulging in recreational stupidity.
This has been successfully implemented!
Isn't it time to address the loss of love?
And the weaknesses associated with its absence?
It is a struggle to find peace of mind!
Those that have it know how great its power!
And if one thought of goodwill came to sit...
Something 'inside' encouraged it to come!
To chase it away,
Leaves one a victim to continued mental delusion.
Attracting dissatisfactions that trap,
In the best of contempt!

Written In February 2000

You told me of the peace in Northern Ireland
And for lasting peace in Ireland you did pray
But now I hear that the hard won peace is endangered
Since the terrorists won't give their bombs and guns away.

The Ulster paramilitaries have failed to disarm
So I heard in the news the other day
They want to destabilize the peace agreement
The Loyalist terrorists and the I R A.

The large majority want peace in Northern Ireland
And to the cause of fair play remain true
But to wreck the goodwill brought on by power sharing
It will only take the bad destructive few.

I've heard about the fight for Irish freedom
And the stories of famous battles I recall
But is any Country worth killing or dying for?
There's more to freedom than that after all.

And the people of Ireland by goodwill will be united
For human love will always conquer hate
And there still is hope for lasting peace in Ireland
Since the terrorists there are seen as out of date.

Barren Trees Without Leaves

There is a wish you admit,
That I should in you believe.
And I should accept your weaknesses,
To keep my own hidden and unconfessed.
Allowing a tranquility uncontested,
Between you and me.
With an understanding I should accept.

But I can not live my life,
On needles and pins.
And step lightly...
As if not to break eggshells.
As you do what you please.
While I quiet my own unattended needs.
To cater to yours.

Should I usher you through the door?
Or should I waste not a haste,
By rushing through it quick.
To save myself from continued foolishness!

There is a wish you admit,
That I should in you believe.
And I should accept your weaknesses,
To keep my own hidden and unconfessed.
Allowing a tranquility uncontested,
Between you and me.
With an understanding I should accept.

I thought I loved you!
But you could never address...
Occupying a vacancy,
That warrants an end to my loneliness.

Should I usher you through the door?
Or should I waste not a haste,
By rushing through it quick.
To save myself from continued foolishness!

And...
For some reason,
I am not expecting recommendations...
You suggest.
It is best I see...
Not only the forest,
But the barren trees without leaves.
Or a branch that will stay connected,
To a happiness missed and wished desired.

Goodwill Store

Im on the edge of my seat
In the soup of my soul
In the center of time
Im in a sentimental role
Youre a stranger of mine
And Im a stranger of yours
But I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
And I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Honey, open up
You dont need to shut down
Cause were gonna blow the hell
Outta this town
I got these really cool boots
That zip up the side
With a little bit of fur
On the naga hide
And you found a metal
From the vietnam war
And I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
And I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Honey, open up
You dont need to shut down
Cause were gonna blow the hell
Outta this town
And theres a lutheran lady
With blueish hair
Well show you to the drawer
Of underwear
And Im wondering if
This camera really works
And then I meet your eyes
Near the fifty-cent shirts
And I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Honey, open up
You dont need to shut down
Cause were gonna blow the hell
Outta this town
And you find boxers
With little blue sheep
And I find a tutu
I can finally keep
If weve been here once
You know weve been here before
And I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Well wear what you want to
And wear it with pride
Cause its a big, bad, cold, hard
World outside
And when youre burned out
Heart sick and sore
We can sit down on the sofa
At the goodwill store
And I seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Seen you in the window
At the goodwill store
Honey, open up
You dont need to shut down
Cause were gonna blow the hell
Outta this town
Im on the edge of my seat
In the soup of my soul
In the center of time
Im in a sentimental role

Can Not Be Bought To Purchase

The finding of a peace within,
Comes as a blessing one can not explain.
And...
Becomes a feeling known one wishes not to change.
Anyone wanting to give their peace of mind away...
Either has too much of it.
Or afraid others might find them crazy!

And this is a possibility.
Since a peace felt within...
Is often interpreted as being self centered.
And if it is?
Few with a deserved and earned peace of mind,
Are going to care less how others address it.

Very, very few are going to show this as a concern.
Unless the living in bliss becomes too much to handle.
And as of yet...
No one has been arrested for experiencing too much joy!

To have peace within is a happening,
That can not be bought to purchase.
Nor can the value of it be priced to sell.
One's soul that has been sold on keeping it,
Can find nothing else that qualifies...
A reason why the ridding of it would be a thought.

Perhaps Progress Will Soon Begin to Move Forward

Now a serious argument takes place among them,
To remove the word 'retarded' from their records kept!
And also from an increasingly insecure consciousness.
Although an unaccountable responsibility remains.

Things take time to correct.
It's never too late to have a scrambled egg.
Even if it's served at dinner.

Idiot and imbecile are their other depictions.
And since their stupidity seems to be environmental...
At least some reflection is being self examined.

Remember when dinner was popularly called 'supper'?
And all adults were thought to have had a normal thought process?
A child does not suspect fools to be a dime a dozen.

The road to their complete recovery from delusion,
May come sooner than expected.
Those now contemplating the word 'retardation' to be offensive.
Hopefully...
These same folks,
Who witness this activity increasing amongst themselves,
Will use this same element of 'awareness'
To deal with issues of sensitivity to identify,
Their total lack of mental competence.

There's great honor given to those who step aside.
Especially when the mind decays.

There has been an absence of mental competence.
Maybe we are living in a resurgence of it.
And perhaps progress will soon begin to move forward,
Again...
Since greed had it stagnated for many many years!
'Retarding' everything in its path.

With a Goodwill Felt

One day...
When we are all swimming,
In deeper pools of thought.
Indifferences will diminish.
And moody attitudes will be naught.
We will be a bit freer,
To express without judgement.
Speak we will in terms of enlightenment.
With a goodwill felt.
Encouraged!
And meant.
One day.

Universal Freedom Is......

Freedom from hunger and freedom from pain
freedom from loss and so freedom from gain.
Freedom to give and freedom to share
freedom from want and that of despair.

Freedom to think and freedom to know
freedom to achieve and freedom to grow.
Freedom from bondage and freedom of liberation
freedom from ignorance and any unknown situation.

Freedom to come and freedom to leave
freedom to stay and freedom to conceive.
Freedom from struggle and freedom of ease
freedom to enjoy and the capacity to please.

Freedom from failure and freedom of success
freedom from denial and freedom of access.
Freedom from illusion and freedom of reality
freedom to become what we are in actuality.

Freedom to live and freedom to die
freedom to laugh and freedom to cry.
Freedom to speak and freedom to listen
freedom to act based on a wise decision.

Freedom from hate and freedom of love
freedom of below and freedom of above.
Freedom of the past and freedom of the present
freedom of the future and what it can represent.

Freedom from war and freedom of peace
freedom to begin and freedom to cease.
Freedom from sickness and freedom of health
freedom from poverty and mishandled wealth.

Freedom from wrong and freedom being right
freedom of the day and freedom of the night.
Freedom to choose and freedom to reject
freedom to imagine what there is to expect.

Freedom from lust and freedom from greed
freedom from anger and freedom from breed.
Freedom from jealousy and freedom from pride
freedom from within and freedom from outside.
Freedom of always not having anything to hide.

Freedom from space and also freedom from time
freedom from attachment and freedom from crime
Freedom to work and freedom to play
freedom to believe and freedom to pray.
Freedom to experience a rebirth someday.

Freedom from the body and freedom from the mind
freedom from the ego and freedom from being blind.
Freedom of transcendence being of the spiritual kind.

Universal freedom is eternal and infinite bliss
we should all therefore be able to realise this.

Delusion of time.

It`s just a delusion of time.
We thought we were more
But we aren`t,
No more than before.
No less than the future.
It`s just a delusion of time.
We thought they were here
Forever.
And now familar faces and smiles
Are not (just distant memories.)
And nor will ours
Be,
Eventually.
The road of the future
Is littered with the past.

Good will come,
Evil will go away,
Everyday there is the Remedy in Goodwill,
Everything on Earth will be that Reward,

There is the good that is from God,
There is justice that is from the good Spirit,
Every good things are from God,
All Goodwill will come by Spirit of Good Fruits,
Every Remedy will be that Great Spirit,
It is that Remedy that Good will come,

God will conquer all that man did upon the Earthly Dwelling,

Voluntary Oblivion

Roaming free in voluntary oblivion
away from a life of imposed opinion.
There is not much to say,
but more to do.

Let us eradicate races
and look deeper into people's faces.
The eyes speak
and the mouth dries up the tongue sometimes.

Blindness creates worlds of words in rhymes
and once upon a time we had good times.
She sees images and experiences auditory hallucinations
she rummages to find the slightest inspiration.

There was once a loss
a terrible and tragic loss.
A traumatizing, disturbing, and shocking loss.
There was once a loss
a loss for words.

There was once a loss of all human emotion
there was once a destitution
of all responsive inclination.
There was once a loss
of the father of them all, imagination.

There was once apathy
just as there once was telepathy.
There was once a time where eyes showed no desire
and there was only the faces all of them different
all of them tasteless ablaze and perspired.

Pleasure is jaded and coiled up and driving about
the hallowed roads into insinuated profanity.
Heaven's illusion has taken us all down
to the mistress of mystery and insanity.

There could be oneness in the delusion.
There could be friendship in the intrusion.
There could be gaps
but all in all, it is really just a load of crap.
A trap disguised as an X on a treasure map.

How lovely would it be to sleep on my lap
as the day drifts and the burden lifts?
Shoulders can only hold so much,
boulders can only be lifted by touch.

Where is my muse and what happened to the way I used to write?
Where is my muse and what happened to enjoying those sleepless nights?
I'm not amused, and I thought of a fight - but you forgot that there was a loss.

There was once a terrible and tragic loss.
There was once apathy,
and I receive no more of your messages through telepathy.
I am not amused
and you are not my muse.

Those' Images Made

People love to treasure those images made.
Those images created to help them escape,
From depictions of reality.
And the way the displaying of it is portrayed.
People love to treasure those images made.

People love to treasure those images made.
The ones flowered to sugar without a bitter taste.
Those images glammed up to spotlight,
On a public stage.
But behind the scenes indignities can be mean.

Yet...
People love to treasure those images made.
And their minds are affixed to them to defend...
Every blemish that is openly seen.
Since people who love their images made...
Have not been conditioned on reality to feast.

People love to treasure those images made.
Those images created to help them escape,
From depictions of reality.
And the way the displaying of it is portrayed.
People love to treasure those images made,
With an excusing of detrimental flaws and pain shown.

These Are Not Cynicisms At All

Those who have clouded minds,
Seem to have been punished...
For thoughts they could have had.
But for some reason,
Resisted the process.

What is observed and has been tolerated,
Appears to be a curse of 'wills'.
And those who make attempts to correct this,
Are kept distanced because they are too loyal.
Too devoted to the betterment of the human condition.

And these are not cynicisms at all.
Sadly these are facts of goodwill being despised.
When mud slinging is discovered done,
In every crevice of a society 'purposedly' being cesspooled...
Faultfinding is no longer one's mission,
As much as a prioritized exit is to enjoy one's peace.

Welcomed Into the Family of Comprehension

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

What hand reaching out to shake,
Does not support that?
What prolonged heartbreak,
Would stay wallowing in sorrow?
To borrow an excuse,
Or a chance not to view agony?
Close up and into a tear stained face.
You should not want that reflecting...
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!

No thing is detached,
That keeps an attraction from coming back.
Something is attached to that.
And seriously repeated.

When done,
The meaning of that purpose...
Should not go misunderstood!
Like selling one 'pot' who requested 'crack'.
An end should come to that.
When the mind gets that whacked out.
And chained to keep one remaining unchanged.

If it does because of ignorance declared delicious?
That can be forgiven, allowed and forgotten.
We all have had our cravings.
However...
If it does come from an intention reeking in deceit?
That can be considered a good cause,
Some some severe cussing out!
And some folks have earned their cussing out,
Those deserving it...
Rights!

And some folks can be sadistic about it!
You can not cuss them out enough!
There are a number of them to unionize.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

If it does come from an intention meant?
That can be shallow, obvious...
And an absence of common sense.
And an absence of it is more common than not!
If one ain't got it!
And an intention done lacking sense,
Wastes too much time.

Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

Age Old Feelings

For this woman, his heart doth treasure
And in his soul, he will always treasure
In her heart, naught these feelings lay
But like a game, with him she'll play
Broken hearted, he cries heavy tears
Such tears had not been shed
For so long a time as to be forgot
Such a time he had such a thought
That a sacred love he would never find
And to said love, he would become blind

A fair young maiden in her tower sits
Between her heart and mind, she is split
Her mind demands she do what she must
Her heart to her mind may never trust
For her heart is where true love lies
Yet in her mind, that same love dies
How can love live and die at the same time?
It seems that thought would be known as crime
To her, True lover seems so far away
But in truth, that love will come one day

They met by chance, it seemed too late
But in his heart, it seemed like fate
She was so scared as was he
More in love, they could not be
But because the fear was combined with love
It did not seem it could last for long
They felt the joy but also the fear
He tried to help, she tried to hear
But she was too afraid to heed
So what he did was show her whats real
Not the things of want but that she was his only desire

Victim Of Love

(coverdale)
Im down on love
An I dont give a damn,
I take my chances
Whenever I can
Like a lamb to the slaughter,
Another sacrifice,
For giving love to woman
With a heart stone cold as ice
Im down on love
An Im clean out of pain,
I aint no stranger
To the crying game
Too scared to suffer,
An too blind to see,
But, I played with fire
An I got what was coming to me
Now, one more heartache
Dont bother me,
Just one more lonely night
To drown in misery
I am a victim of love,
A victim of love,
Lord, I never thought
Id be a victim of love
Victim of love, victim of love,
Lord, I never thought
Id be a victim of love
Im down on love
An I feel like a fool
To beg for mercy
cos I broke the rules
So do me no favours
With your cool advice,
I know the losing cost,
An Ill pay the price
One more heartache
Dont bother me
One more lonely night
To drown in misery
I am a victim of love,
A victim of love,
Lord, I never thought
Id be a victim of love
Victim of love,
A victim of love,
Lord, I never thought
Id be a victim of love
One more heartache
Dont bother me
One more lonely night
To drown in misery
Victim of love,
A victim of love,
Lord, I never thought
Id be a victim of love...

(Choices Poem) Circumstances Unending

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

To let the one you love go for the better
Or the happiness of poverty in suffering
Like a mother choosing for a child
you must make the decision out of true love.
Forever the greater good.
The eagle looks upon us all with his eyes.
Only if I could see it that way.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

When you do such a thing their is no going back
Chasing after something you threw away.
All in a attempt to be the better man.
The homeless playing a game of kick the can.
Nobody ever wins.
It is to pass time as it will always do.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

Regret and bitter
Feelings that will never sit well with you
Your determined to overcome, and it not be prolonged
She is gone.
Forever a bad choice.
That you wouldn't want to change.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

The portrait of your face betrays the feeling inside.
The things you try to bury and hide.
At one time you were happy.
At one time you smiling and so full of spirit.
But now you fall into a very empty depression.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

No one will come and pick you up.
If you fall it will be you last one.
Like a soldier you still march as if you were still on call.
Duty and service is all you've ever known.
And now a world sits before you.
And still your all alone.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

2009

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

People will find themselves delusion free.
And committed to priorities...
Greed and fantasies did not allow them to be.
An awakening of sorts,
Will have them questioning their religious beliefs.
Since those philosophies held onto...
Created their conflicts and their grief!

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

Remember those times and days of respect?
Expect more of that sincerely reflected.
Accept kindness expressed,
From those you did not expect.
And reject temptation to extend bitterness.
There will be many who will wish to increase peace.
To see the nonsense kept in declaring who is inferior...
As superiority over others,
Will from their minds decrease.

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

Protective thoughts to defend,
Of what is not yours but mine will come to an end.
Since an introduction of a higher consciousness will take affect.
To inspire goodwill for all humanity!
And all who invested in 'things' they lost...
Will discover they have become happier.
To achieve this without paying the cost!
With wishes of simplicity...
To become the focused objectivity!

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

A new beginning comes.
With a clarity of mind that defines reality!
And leaving behind divisions and nonsense.
Of all kinds.
That's what folks will find,
In 2-0-0-9.

Faith Alone Is All One Needs To Succeed

If those of goodwill, peace and harmony...
Have created foundations with the spreading of this,
And there are many of these 'structures' today that exist...
With signs adorning them to capitalize upon their purposes.
Where on the streets that support corrupted minds,
Increasing with the giving of time...
Are the ones with those lofty ambitions?

Could they be inside those places hiding,
And too afraid to show their faces...
Outside where their actions,
Would interact with those in need.
And there is a belief...
A faith alone is all one needs to succeed.
And kept inside is a dependency on going through the rituals.
And not performing the actuality of their deeds.

Very Last Thought

What is the very last thought
that will cross my mind?
Drawing last breath, that thought
not anyone will find.

I'll take it with me
and let it inspire me
to keep me soaring high,
higher than the deep blue sky.

The thought alone is filled with love.
It will not break apart.
It will escape the body I leave behind
and seek a brand new start.

That thought will find its way
and travel to where you'll be
and when it finds its dsetination
that thought will become me.

The question in my last thought
will most probably be
whether or not you'll recognize
that the thought contains me?
