Discovered As Delicious

Many have a need to cling...
Like a fruit maturing,
That has of yet been picked.
And sits with a grip,
Agonizing over it in a nervousness.

Prolonging the experience...
Of being bitten.
And wishing not to be chewed.
Or spitted about...
In a noticeable disappointment.

But sooner than later it is dropped.
From that which has gotten too tired,
Of its clinging.
Too weary of a fruit that has aged.
And an abrupt disconnection occurs.
The benefit of it seems no longer to pay!

Shakened and disturbed by this,
The fruit begins to flounder in a reminiscing.
Left to thrive with or without comprehension...
In which direction to roll,
Or drift...
Until it finds it feels a fit.

Hopefully comfortable enough,
With itself...
To allow it discovered as delicious.
Or become saddened...
That it has been left alone to rot!
A condition condoned!
With no value to itself emphasized and known.

The structure and purpose of it was missed.
But this with consistent preparation...
Could have been a mindset stopped.
And the value of it shown as part of the crop,
Enhanced.
With expectations of it,
By all who would come to taste...
As juicy to the lips,
Down to the core!

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XIX: Fruits

grow the fruit till it's big enough
grow the fruit till the color turns red
grow the fruit till it smells good
grow the fruit to be cooked
don't be tricked of what is edible
a beautiful fruit can be sour
a big fruit can be raw
a delicious fruit can be poison
a cooked fruit can be forbidden
be careful of what is edible

What's Red

Red is a strong color
Red is a Strawberry
A very juicy red fruit
Red is an apple
Another delicious fruit
Red is a fruit
those small little cherries
Red is a light
The light that means stop when you get to it
Red is a firetruck
The truck that fire people use when theres a fire
Red, Red, Red
What a color.

Fruits Of Waste

food waste
one country
say old Italy

800 million tonnes
of fruit picked sold
from fruit trees

750 million tones

left to rot
never picked
every year

why
not increase
efficiency?

I starve for a fruit on a tree

I am forbidden to pluck
the fruit that ripened.
I can get access to fallen
fruit, but it is rotten.
My desire exists.
My want is not sated.
One consolation-
I am not weary of you
who I am in pursuit of
and in whom my taste is alive
as you aren’t a fallen fruit.

Forbidden Fruit

He offered her forbidden fruit
and had she turned away
she never would have tasted it.
But much to her dismay
it was much too tempting.
She could not leave it alone.
She grasped at it greedily
and now she must atone.

And so the Garden of Eden
flashes before her mind.
Sorrow fills the air she breathes
and the fruit on which she dined
has left a bitter taste in her.
But in her heart she knows
that all the sweetness of the fruit
taught the lesson from which she grows.

Why can't we...?

River flows
Only in one direction
And knows its destination
Yet,
Those by the banks
Thrive and prosper

Why can't we be
Like the river?

Tree bears fruit
And gives shade
For none in particular
Yet
Knows not its fruit
Or its shade

Why can't we be
Like the tree?

Rain rains
For earth to regenerate
The seed to sprout
And plant to bear leaf
Yet
Knows not the life
It recharges

Too many hands
On too many things
Do we have desiring
Name, fame and bounty
And suffer

We end up in
Rain of tears
With no shade to protect

We flow direction-less
Allowing our core
To wash away!

Healthy fruit - Guava!

While I entered into my kitchen,
The aroma of a nice fruit pierced my nose!
It gave an euphoria to my sense,
O' It is a smell of Guava!

Yellow in color,
Ripened in nature,
It invited me to eat
and taste;

I took the fruit in my hand,
I took the knife too kept aside,
I cut the fruit gently with care,
into pieces of four;

I tasted the fruit, Guava,
It was yummy yummy,
Very tasty and yummy,
Healthy fruit - Guava!

Upon Our Journey

Upon our Journey many fruitful trees we shall pass.
How are we ever know our favourite to taste
If we are forever wasting the present indulging
In a taste we have already relegated to a memory inducing nostalgia?
Only when striding onwards will we ever know for sure
That no cure for our hearts ailments lay upon the fruit tree
Beyond the horizon – We can always journey backwards
If we are convinced the fruits we left will never be tasted
With such sweet Joy again – But know that it will forever
Toy upon your mind if you do not seek to find a fruit unknown
To your heart. So hard it is to start again and allow the ghost
Of a memories fading to pass without a sigh – So hard it is to
Part with the skies that have kept us sane for so long now it should
Pain us to consider a lifetime without the fruit we have come to know
Yet we must continue upon our journey – Evermore we must flow.

Blackberry Picking

I have fond memories of going blackberrying
On Sundays, with my Dad, when I was a child.
Situated on the very outskirts of our little town,
The lane was long and winding, lonely and wild.

We worked our way along the prickly hedgerows,
Plucking perfect fruit from amongst the brambles,
But the berries, which were over ripe or under ripe,
Were left behind by us, during our country rambles.

We picked plenty of plump, juicy berries,
And popped them all in to our plastic pot.
Dad seemed to know the very best time to go,
So we always returned home with quite a lot.

Along the way, we spotted spiders in their webs;
Of spiders, I have always been a little scared.
So any fruit which was located round about,
Was more than welcome to stay right there!

The blackberries were taken home to Mum,
Who mixed them up with apples, inside a pie.
I always felt a small sense of pride, as we ate
Those blackberries, picked by my Dad and I.

After Climax Satisfies

Sometimes I believe we live,
To deny we wish to be loved.
To exist resisting it.
But here because that had been done.

Sometimes I believe we wish,
To be submissive.
Cloaked as we are in an aggressiveness.

To love and be in bliss with it...
With someone kissing between pillow talk,
After sex has satisfied our desires...
Fantasizes!

We wonder about the excitement of it,
Before we close our eyes to sleep at night.
And this is done more,
Before and/or after a relationship ends.
And we place the blame upon those we have mated.
Those we waited to lay and bait our passions...
Without a stroke that exposed desires now felt.

Sometimes I believe we live,
To deny we wish to be loved.
To exist resisting it.
But here because that had been done.
By two who knew love!
Or was that lust?

And we lay wishing to have someone special...
Lusting for a life loved,
Between heated sheets shared.
To reach and repeat what is found,
In a togetherness that is free of conflict...
Long after climax satisfies a peak that remains,
Forever delicious.

Sometimes I believe we wish this too much.
And we continue to seek someone,
To keep us in touch with the basicness of it.
Like the taste of fruit that seems to stay fresh,
Always.

How do we keep this taste for love replenished?
How do we keep a piece of fruit bitten,
To sit on lips remembered...
Each time the juice of it is licked.

Sound Bites

Bitten and spit.
To get a morsel...
Not all of it.
And the folks getting it,
Eat it up!

Not a moment of it wasted,
On providing facts.
Not complete...
For a comprehension to receive it.

Sound bites bitten to scoop the news.
To dropp a little bit to confuse.
Just to extend the taste of what is chewed.
And that's what sound bites bitten done,
Do!

A buffet that's meager,
For a taste to choose.
With a tease that's given.
And a hope what's nibbled makes good news.

Just to extend the taste of what is chewed.
And that's what sound bites bitten done,
Do!

Not a moment of it wasted,
On providing facts.
Not complete...
For a comprehension to receive it.
Bitten and spit.

The Creation of the Moon

The man cut his throat and left his head there.
The others went to get it.
When they got there they put the head in a sack.
Farther on the head fell out onto the ground.
They put the head back in the sack.
Farther on the head fell out again.
Around the first sack they put a second one that
was thicker.
But the head fell out just the same.
It should be explained that they were taking the head
to show to the others.
They did not put the head back in the sack.
They left it in the middle of the road.
They went away.

They crossed the river.
But the head followed them.
They climbed up a tree full of fruit
to see whether it would go past.

The head stopped at the foot of the tree
and asked them for some fruit.
So the men shook the tree.
The head went to get the fruit.
Then it asked for some more.

So the men shook the tree
so that the fruit fell into the water.
The head said it couldn't get the fruit from there.
So the men threw the fruit a long way
to make the head go a long way to get it so they could go.
While the head was getting the fruit
the men got down from the tree and went on.

The head came back and looked at the tree
and didn't see anybody
so went on rolling down the road.

The men had stopped to wait
to see whether the head would follow them.
They saw the head come rolling.

They ran.
They got to their hut they told the others that the head
was rolling after them and to shut the door.

All the huts were closed tight.
When it got there the head commanded them to open the doors.
The owners would not open them because they were afraid.

So the head started to think what it would turn into.
If it turned into water they would drink it.
If it turned into earth they would walk on it.
If it turned into a house they would live in it.
If it turned into a steer they would kill it and eat it.
If it turned into a cow they would milk it.
If it turned into a bean they would cook it.
If it turned into the sun
When men were cold it would heat them.
If it turned into rain the grass would grow and the
animals would crop it.

So it thought, and it said, "I will turn into the moon."
It called, "Open the doors, I want to get my things."
They would not open them.

The head cried. It called out, "At least give me
my two balls of twine."
They threw out the two balls of twine through a hole.
It took them and threw them into the sky.

It asked them to throw it a little stick too
to roll the thread around so it could climb up.

Then it said, "I can climb, I am going to the sky."
It started to climb.

The men opened the doors right away.
The head went on climbing.
The men shouted, "You going to the sky, head?"
It didn't answer.

As soon as it got to the Sun
it turned into the Moon.
Toward evening the Moon was white, it was beautiful.
And the men were surprised
to see that the head had turned into the Moon.

A Tree's Fruit

Good fruit or bad fruit, a tree can only bear one,
This parable was taught by God's one and only Son.

First mentioned by John as a warning for the Pharisees to heed,
But being blind to The Truth, most of them would not believe.

Your life is the tree and your deeds are the fruit,
This is a simple analogy that it hard to dispute.

But the Pharisees who knew the Word and lived in the land,
Were rebuked by John the Baptist, as they didn't understand.

Christians need to produce fruit for the Lord and nothing less,
And all the fruit that we produce should be fruits of righteousness.

Our old nature will produce fruit that comes from the past,
Not only is this fruit bad, but it's the kind that won't last.

Not only is bearing good fruit The Lord's heart desire,
But trees that continue to bear bad fruit may be cast in the fire.

Within your own heart is where the good or bad fruit is stored,
And by your fruits men will know you, is made clear by The Lord.

The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life, was once said,
However, a tree that bears bad fruit may be eternally dead.

What fruit you produce is strictly your choice my dear friend,
And by this choice you will either be blessed or condemned.

From The Same Tree

From the same tree
there is the good fruit
there is the bad fruit....

From the same tree
the good fruit goes to the market
the bad fruit...to the soil.

From the same tree
is the reason for the lonely farmer
to wake up each morning
to see how the fruits grow well...
and is the reason for the lonely farmer
for not winning the heart of his beloved
who prefer the city life

From the same tree
there is the good fruit
there is the bad fruit.

Forbidden Fruit

Oscar brown jr
Eve and adam had a garden everything was great
Till one day a boy says pardon miss my name is snake
See that apple over yonder if youll take a bite
You and adam both are bound to have some fun tonight
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and taste it you dont wanna waste it
The lord had said in the beginning everything is free
Except that apple that leads to sinning so let that apple be
But eve got tempted so she tried it and as all chicks do
Teaser her man till he decided hed just try some too
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and bite it I bet youd be delighted
I hate to tell you all what followed the lord was most upset
Saw them making love and hollered what have you to add
And when they made a full confession the lord said hm I see
I guess Ill have to teach you a lesson about not minding me
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Youre all indebted now you gonna get it
The lord made eve adams madam have his kids and all
Placed some labour laws on adam and he made the snake to fall
Ever since the days of eden folks been sinful my
Nowadays theyre even eating apples in their pie
Go on and eat forbidden fruit
Its mighty sweet forbidden fruit
Its quite a treat forbidden fruit
Go ahead and taste it you dont wanna waste it
Oh go ahead and bite it I bet youd be delighted
You always did it now youll gonna get it

The fruits on the table

I love the papayas
Spread on the table
Reddish orange papayas
Plump and Smooth to my
Hands

And some purple grapes
Sweet pulp
Luscious to my
Lips

Some rambutans
Hairy fruits in red
Tickling to my
Fingers

Pungent durian
Tasting like
Heaven to
My mind

They are all spread on
The table

And I would caress smooth
Reddish papayas with
My bare hands
Put a grape in my mouth
And my tongue
Does the savoring of
Juicy rambutans
My lips close in
To a juicy roundness
As I breathe on some
Red hairs
Of this magical luscious fruit

The durian is opened
And the taste of heaven
Comes to my mind
With eyes closed as
Though I own all the passions
Of this world

When we were young and
Crazy about ourselves
I laid her on the table
And spread herself there
She was all those kinds of
Fruits to me and I was the
Hands, the mouth, the lips,
The tongue
The stomach that swallowed her all

Every bit that was juicy
Every freshness every plumpness
She was all fruits to me
She was all nature giving in, all over
To the passions of this fruit lover.

Forbidden Fruit

There's a game you wanna play
There's a risk you would like to take
But words can't change what you feel inside
There'll be no going back from here
I'm scared it'll lead to tears
Patience, boy, and I will decide
If your kiss is sweet enough
If I wanna feel your touch
You should know I can read your mind
If the deal is worth the pain
If you just won't die of shame
I am tempted to try
If you taste this fruit forbidden to eat
You can drink this wine from a love so deep
I dance for you
Let you come within
If you swear to me that it ain't no sin
There's a world you wanna know
There's a place you wanna go
Take your time and love will delight
There're wonders everywhere
Their mysteries to share
Be gentle, boy, and it will be alright
If you taste this fruit forbidden to eat
You can drink this wine from a love so deep
I dance for you
Let you come within
If you swear to me that it ain't no sin
If you taste this fruit forbidden to eat
You can drink this wine from a love so deep
I dance for you
Let you come within
If you swear to me that it ain't no sin
You wanna taste it
Oh, if you swear to me
If you taste this fruit forbidden to eat
You can drink this wine from a love so deep
Love so deep
I dance for you
Let you come within
If you swear to me that it ain't no sin
If you taste this fruit forbidden to eat
You can drink this wine from a love so deep
Love so deep
I dance for you
Let you come within
If you swear to me that it ain't no sin
Wanna taste it

It Is Best to Leave This Mindset Alone

There will always be those,
Who attempt to match wits...
With those who comprehend
The advantages of understanding.

Some folks live within a box regarded as safe.
And from inside a point of view of outside events...
They choose to argue their findings,
Condensed...
From a state of mind that is comfortable,
But for those who have discovered 'reality'...
They know this makes no sense.

And to produce beneficial chit chat,
Does not induce a growth of thought.
When a sharing is lost with one who's mind is stuck...
Deluded in visions found too comfortable.
And eventually these folks others must give up!

A process attached to learning,
For some is a worthless yearning.
And for them a progress is created from isolation.
Where ignorance is encouraged to thrive and manifest.
It is best to leave this mindset,
Alone!
They perceive time sits to wait for them,
To be condoned!
